Guest Reviews
- Alberte (9/5): Our stay was the best for taking care of our grandson. We could explore and run and we did not worry. - Really easy: everything! Except the mattresses. It could have been a little cleaner (we had a 3-year-old with us)
The location is superb. The cottage is spacious. There was everything we needed to cook a few meals. Good appliances. The long table was a bonus.
The terrace was perfect. We could even walk in the fields, we saw amazing sunsets. Close to Bertinoro and Forlimpopoli for the grocery shopping and the recommendations from Maurizio very 5 star! As before: the mattresses! ( Both in the bedroom and the sofa-bed are really bumpy and creaky) A little more cleanliness (the shower and the floor)
- Verena (9/5): Beautiful holiday home and gardens, close to many Adriatic hotspots! - Il Vigneto is beautifully located on a quiet slope on the outskirts of the medieval village of Bertinoro. The garden and the views are exceptional and ensure a very relaxing holiday experience, while at the same time serving as a perfect starting point for excursions to Ravenna, Rimini or San Marino for example. Maurizio is a most gracious host! It was a real pleasure making his acquaintance!

- Gaetano (9/5): - La posizione è molto bella con vista mozzafiato La comodità del divano letto il materasso!
- Marlies (10/5): We hebben genoten - de gastvrijheid van de eigenaar
de heerlijke boomgaard

- Ulrike (10/5): -
- Nikita (10/5): A peaceful hilltop cottage with dreamy views and great amenities- bring groceries, but expect total comfort and quiet. M - Exceptional hilltop location: total quiet and panoramic vineyard views; lovely evening walks and sunsets right outside the gate.
Walkable to Bertinoro for scenic uphill strolls and a few good restaurants.
Large, immaculately kept grounds with shade for morning coffee; fruit trees (figs, apples, pomegranate) ripen toward autumn.
Breezy nights + quality mosquito screens = comfortable sleep with windows open.
Well equipped: two powerful A/C units (living room + bedroom) that handled 36°C July heat comfortably and are positioned so they don’t blow directly on you.
Washing machine - very handy for longer stays.
Th WiFi was okay, not the fastest one, but enough to handle YouTube, zoom calls and everyday job-related stuff Fridge is on the small side (not a minibar, but compact for weekly hypermarket shops).
A simple dishwasher would be a nice-to-have, though not essential for a countryside cottage.

- Kira (10/5): Amazing cottage at peaceful village - We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in July. Sleeping here was especially pleasant: a light breeze at night, the calming sound of insects, and the soft, clean scent of fresh bed linen made for a very relaxing atmosphere. The mattress was comfortable, and the sheets felt lovely to the touch.
The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a working air conditioner and a washing machine. The water pressure was excellent, and there was always enough hot water just right for doing the dishes after dinner for two and then enjoying a comfortable shower.
The bathroom was spotless, with modern and clean fixtures. We also appreciated the large and convenient dining table, perfect for working or eating. The house had lots of charming antique furniture with character and history, like a beautiful vintage washstand that added a unique touch to the space.
All in all, it was a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay, and we’d be happy to return The only things we felt were missing were a dishwasher and a slightly larger fridge. The refrigerator was quite small, and while it might be fine for a short stay, it wasn’t very convenient for two people staying for about a month, especially since we were cooking and eating at home most of the time. A bit more storage space for groceries would have made things more comfortable.
- Agnes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (9/5): Short trip but the owner made us feel very welcome, he gave us lots of suggestions for the area as well. - Great location, private area and wonderful garden
- Haydn (10/5): Lovely house, lovely host, lovely location. - Such a beautiful little (not so little!) cottage in the Italian countryside. It comes prepared with anything you need, and is very comfortable. It can be a challenge to go out and not just stay on the balcony drinking wine all day!
The very pretty town Bertinoro is a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk, which has lots of amazing eateries and wine bars. We would recommend La Grotta, Ca de Be, and Nonna Rina’s. The terrace of Ca de Be has a stunning view over the region.
The host Maurizio was waiting for us on arrival with a bottle of locally produced wine, and was very kind and welcoming. He gave us his phone number in case we needed anything, which we didn’t, and even sent a message to check everything was okay about halfway through the week. We could not have asked for anything more, 10/10. Nothing
- Iryna (10/5): good place, polite owner, all when you need too relax -
