- Verified traveler (6/5): - Kind of weird. Mother who ran the place has passed away so they only half open. Son tries hard but just kind of an odd situation. Our actual room was clean and comfortable but the rest of the house was kind of a hoarder situation.

He was very willing to meet our foods requests as some of us had dietary requirements. Rooms were clean and with new bedding. Beautifully polished hard woods floors are a welcome sight for asthma sensitive guests.

- Donald (10/5): Friendly lodging in the quiet county - All the comforts were thought out when this old farmhouse was gutted and modernized to make it a bed & breakfast; interior walls have sound proofing insulation, the plumbing is professional strength, and central air conditioning serves the entire house. The owners live on site and cater to their guests needs. Breakfast is at the time of your choosing and made to order. Given advance notice, the owners can get what you want for breakfast within reason for this rural area. The B&B is in the country about six or seven miles from SUNY Potsdam and Carlson University, and it is not far from Canton's colleges.

We appreciated their understanding and kindness when we arrived. The location is rural but perfect for getting to any of the neighboring towns. As I have heard from others... 10 out of 10.. I would stay again.

The living room is huge with lots of comfortable seating. Bonus...if you like dogs, they have three that you can love! But don't worry, if you don't like dogs, they keep them away unless you ask.

Hearty, homemade breakfast and bottomless cup of coffee kept us talking and lingering in the kitchen. We would return without a doubt.

- Karen (10/5): Close to Clarkson & SUNY Potsdam - This is a big old farmhouse, beautifully restored - modern, immaculate and very comfortable. Of course the two hotels in Potsdam are frequently booked, especially when there are events at the colleges, as was the case when we visited our daughter this past weekend. I'm so glad we found this B&B. The family who owns the house is very friendly and will do all they can to accommodate their guests' needs. There are different sized rooms - some can sleep up to four people. Highly recommend, and look forward to staying there again.
