Close to Mae Haad pier and beach, with lots of restaurants nearby and a 7-Eleven right across the road!! We had an issue with our shower on night 1 which took some time to be resolved and it was difficult to get in touch with the accommodation staff to follow up but got sorted in the end!

The staff said daily they would move us into an air conditioned room “tomorrow”, but each day we asked they got angry with us for asking. When we would arrive back to the accommodation and great them with a smile and hello. They would just stare back at us. Very unfriendly, and unwelcoming. The room was not held to any standard. Dirty walls, both sinks blocked with someone else’s hair, horrible smell that stayed in the room, hard and thin bed you could feel the springs. We dreaded coming home each night.

• Zoë (8/5): Great spot to stay in Koh Tao, great value for money + location - Very friendly staff , great location, great value for money, overall a great place to stay. The only issue we had was that there appeared to be a leak in both the bathroom and next to the bed, it wasn’t a huge deal but there was quite a bit of dripping water.

Me parece un alojamiento económico excelente, las malas reseñas será de gente acostumbrada a alojamientos occidentales. Tras viajar un tiempo por el sudeste asiático, pienso que este lugar tiene todo lo que necesitas: cama cómoda, aire acondicionado, baño privado con ducha caliente. Me importa poco si la pintura de la pared no es perfecta. Volvería sin duda. No hagan caso a los tiquismiquis! Y si eres uno, paga un poquito más por el lujo visual :D Nada, todo estuvo bien, increíble ubicación con los mejores restaurantes con comida abundante y barata cerca 😁

El llit esta fet amb fustas podridas que quan et moguis molt sembla que se hagui de trencar. El lavabo te mo i esta la pica oxidada.

• Clement (3/5): Établissement avec du potentiel, réglez le problème d’humidité, qui nous a gâché le séjour. - Localisation Femme de l’accueil agréable et disponible. L’HUMIDITÉ TERRIBLE dans la chambre, malgré la présence de fenêtre inutile (pas de climatisation, ni d’aération dans la salle de bain) l’ensemble de nos affaires étaient trempés. Beaucoup de moustiques. Location de scooter pas intéressantes dans cet établissement.
• Claudio (1/5): Günstiges Zimmer mit massivem Schimmelbefall und ein angeschlossener Roller-Verleih, der Touristen mit überzogenen Schad - Lage war in Ordnung Deutliche Warnung vor 8 Homestel Koh Tao und dem angeschlossenen Roller-Verleih. Auch wenn der Preis niedrig ist, ist der Zustand des Hotels nicht akzeptabel. In den Zimmern und besonders im Bad ist großflächiger Schimmel an den Wänden, deutlich sichtbar rund um die Dusche. Das wirkt nicht wie ein Einzelfleck, sondern wie ein dauerhaftes Feuchtigkeitsproblem. Hygiene und Gesundheit scheinen hier keine Rolle zu spielen. Zusätzlich die sehr schlechte Erfahrung mit dem Roller. Nach der Rückgabe wurden mir für zwei kleine Kratzer und einen Kratzer an einer Plastikabdeckung 5.000 Baht berechnet. Als Begründung wurde eine laminierte interne Preisliste mit extrem überhöhten Preisen gezeigt. Genau dieses Plastikteil kostet online auf Shopee umgerechnet etwa 1 €, und auch lokale Werkstätten reparieren solche Schäden normalerweise für ein paar hundert Baht. Trotzdem wurde auf der hohen Summe bestanden. Besonders unangenehm: Mein Pass wurde einbehalten, bis ich bezahlt habe, was klar als Druckmittel genutzt wurde. Insgesamt wirkt das nicht wie ein fairer Betrieb, sondern wie ein System, um an Touristen zusätzlich Geld zu verdienen. Ich kann weder das Hotel noch den Roller-Verleih empfehlen.

• Escudero (3/5): PEDAZO DE SITIO - Irme las vistas eran a una chapa a un metro y medio de distancia de la ventana, no entraba luz natural en ningún momento del día, había moho en el techo, el A/C goteaba, el baño estaba sucio lleno de moho en cada rincón, antes de todo esto estaba en otra habitación en la que el a/c no funciona y de repente aparecieron dos tipos a "arreglarlo" hicieron un puente en los cables anulando la placa base y funcionó durante unas horas, luego dejo de funcionar y empezó a tirar agua a chorro luego me cambiaron a la habitación con vistas a la chapa y el techo lleno de moho, me quedé allí por q no tenía otro sitio donde ir, así en resumen no pongo más fotos por q no me deja

• Judith (8/5): Für eine Nacht in Piernähe perfekt - Das Pier ist nicht weit. Es gibt einen Raucherbalkon mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Frau war etwas unfreundlich. Es liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße und ist daher auch dementsprechend laut. Der Balkon hat kein Geländer.

Nous avions une chambre sans clim avec ventilateurs, deux tout neufs ! Il faisait 28 degrés tous les jours et nous n’avons pas eu trop chaud. Eau à disposition pour quelques bahts. Pensez à ramener du savon ils n’en fournissent pas mais pour le prix c’est compréhensible ! Humidité dans la chambre mais pour 4 nuits c’est ok

• Rob (9/5): Would definitely come back! - The location couldn’t be better. Close enough to the pier you can walk, across from 7-11, close to restaurants and shops. The woman running it is to the point but friendly once you check in. The room was spacious and at a great price. They offer scooter rentals and also water (hot and cold) for drinks / food. It’s close to the main road but not too loud and there is a balcony on each floor. Needs slight updating but for the price it was incredible.

El baño tiene la puerta rota sin una bisagra y no hay forma de cerrarla. Pedí cuarto que no de a la calle y fue exactamente lo que me dieron. La señora a cargo tiene muy malos modos.

• David-Gabriel (1/5): Schrecklich, trotz des niedrigen Preises - Einzelzimmer, gratis Wasser. Das Badezimmer war ein reiner Schimmelraum. Es hat im ganzen Zimmer modrig und schimmlig gerochen und im Bad war die ganze Wand verschimmelt. Man hatte nur kaltes Wasser, das Klo war verschimmelt und die Matratze vom Bett war dreckig, zerrissen und richtig widerlich verschmutzt. Das Bettlaken hatte Brandlöcher und war richtig schmierig. Der Aufenthalt in so einem Zimmer ist höchst gesundheitsschädlich. Wenn man die Tür vom Badezimmer aufgemacht hat wurde man von einer riesigen Schimmelwand empfangen

I had to make an excuse to leave the day I got there, I stayed there previously and it wasn’t this bad last time. Alcatraz looks comfier. Mould over the bathroom ceiling and an AC that wouldn’t stop leaking, I moved hotel an hour after arriving.

• Ona (3/5): Si hagués de tornar a Koh Tao, preferiria anar a un altre lloc. - On estava situat. L’habitació estava completament plena de moho i feia una pudor insuportable. Vam haver de comprar un ambientador per poder respirar una mica i tot i així no havia manera de dissimular la pudor. El matalàs i els coixins també estaven en mal estat i l’olor traspassava els llençols.

• jonty (6/5): Decent setup for price and great location. - The location was great, only a short walk up a hill from the ferry. We got the early ferry so had to wait to check in but there's a restaurant over the road which took us in and fed us while we waited. Also a 7/11 across the road which was good. There's loads of bikes for hire nearby and scuba clubs all around you so plenty to do. The room was smallish and a bit damp but served its purpose - we didn't open the windows at all which would've helped but we really don't like midges so kept them shut. This was a good place for a couple nights but not for a long time.

• Manon (6/5): Moyen - L'emplacement de l'hôtel, la proximité de plusieurs restaurants La chambre n'était pas très propre, les draps étaient troués, la salle de bain avait des traces d'humidité et était petite, très cher pour ce que c'est (et pas de climatisation avec ce prix), odeur de moisissure dans l'air, l'air ne circule pas dans la chambre

Typische Sauberkeit in Thailand: Boden, Bettwäsche & Handtücher wirken sauber. Spinnweben und ähnliches an Decken, Wänden & Vorhängen könnten mal entfernt werden. Zudem viele Ameisen, vor allem im Bad.

• Jane (2/5): Not a pleasant stay - The cleaner was nice Everything and it was always damp and wet constant noise even ear plugs did not block it out the shower soaked the room holes in the ceiling and uncomfortable Bed, needs improvement throughout. However very cheap if you need a very budget basic room. We would not return.
