• Tracey (10/5): Lovely hotel in a great area with fantastic staff - The staff at the hotel were fantastic they couldn’t help you enough. On our first night it was a public holiday the next day and our room was next to the street meaning it was very noisy until 3.15. I asked the follow day if we could move to a quieter room and she sorted this immediately. Upgrading us to a beautiful suite with 2 balconies. No noise at all. The mattresses were firm for us but this is more about personal preferences . Breakfast was lovely.

• Ryan (7/5): - The breakfast was wonderful and the balcony was pretty. The room was big and clean. The location was great, right by the marina and close to the shopping streets. The staff was nice. The beds were very uncomfortable and the set up of our room was a bit strange. Instead of an en-suite bathroom, the shower was a see-through glass door that connected right to the room, facing the beds. The only part with a door was the toilet itself. We didn’t like the lack of privacy. Another minor note, the restaurant recommendations we received were not good and overpriced.

The staff were kind and helpful, which was such a relief when our flight was delayed overnight and we arrived at midnight. Very close to the waterfront and near the main square with restaurants. Our room had no view.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, especially when our flight was cancelled at 23.30. The rooms are fantastic and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting Argostoli.

• Gertrude (10/5): A lovely hideaway in central Argostoli - The location just next to the sea promenade yet in a quiet alley with lovely garden was fantastic. The staff, especially the ladies at the reception, Lilia and Georgia, were very friendly and granted me an early check-in and late check-out. The rooms were extremely spacious and well equipped. The pink details everywhere were quirky and fun. Breakfast was generally good, but items like the grilled vegetables and fried ham were already cold by the time it started. It would be wise to invest in some heating platters. At the spa, it may not be possible to get a short notice appointment.

• Pam (5/5): Meh… - Close to shops and restaurants. It’s in an alleyway between the waterfront and the square. When we opened the doors to the terrace, we were greeted by a large, unattractive tree. We had a glimpse of the water and flowers. But straight on…oof! The breakfast buffet was good. The front staff was friendly when asked questions. However, they did not go their way to start conversations or two offer to help with reservations, transportation, or provide ideas for things to do other than handing us a brochure. The strangest part of the room was the open shower with no privacy as soon as you walked into the room. Maybe it’s just me, but having the bed in the shower in plain view seemed a little strange. The other design law was putting bright green carpeting in the hallway that was stained and wrinkled.

• Brandi (10/5): The decor made me so happy - The aesthetics of the hotel, linens, and finishings were divine. The size of the room and balconies (yes, I had 2 balconies) is impressive. Breakfast was delicious. Location is wonderful once you find it, as cars do not have direct access to the front of the hotel, but it’s easy to access from the street. Would definitely stay here again. There was nothing not to like.

• Stephen (10/5): Wonderful - delighted with our choice! - Everything was great, from the room being spotlessly clean, to the first class staff and the fabulous breakfast. The only thing that would have made my stay more enjoyable was that at breakfast a Latte shouldn’t be at an extra cost these days. It should be included as part of the breakfast rate. The majority of quality hotels I stay in include coffee’s (latte, americano etc) as part of breakfast. Infact even budget chain hotels like ‘Premier Inn’s’ Include them as inclusive within the breakfast rates.

Si dorme molto bene, i letti sono comodi e c'è silenzio. Colazione ottima e varia con dolci tipici e salato. Pulizia eccellente. Posizione ottima davanti al lungomare e vicinissima alla piazza. Parcheggio gratuito intorno all'hotel. La cittadina è molto piacevole e comunque la posizione è buona per girare tutta l'isola. Mi è piaciuto tutto.

Staff außerordentlich freundlich und aufmerksam, Frühstück hatte ausgewählte Produkte mit sehr guter Qualität. Parkplatzsituation aufgrund der zentralen Lage schwierig, da das Hotel über keinen eigenen Parkplatz verfügt.

• Claudia (6/5): - Zentrale Lage Garten zum Frühstück ist lange nicht mehr gepflegt worden, Geschirr steht lange und wird lange nicht abgeräumt; teilweise umfreundliches Personal, teilweise sehr nett. Parken ist sehr schlecht organisiert.

Lätt att ta buss till stränderna runt Lassi samt närhet till flygplatsen. Trevlig o service minded personal , frukost helt ok med lite av varje. Skulle bo här igen. Bodde i en av sviterna högst upp och där fanns en liten kyl som hade kunnat fyllas som en minibar , utöver de två vattenflaskorna som var där initialt.

• Georges (5/5): For the amount we paid the room was disappointing. - Location We booked a two bedroom suite that had one shared shower and toilet. Unfortunately the doors were glass which allowed no privacy. The photos of room were deceiving. We used the laundry service and they lost some of my clothes and then said I must be mistaken and to check my bag only to have them “find” the clothes and return them to me on my last day

• Marian (10/5): O alegere foarte buna - Ospitalitate la superlativ! Personal dedicat si profesionist! Locatie excelenta, in "inima orasului si a insulei"! Curatenie deosebita! Baia (stilul "open space", nu place tuturor, dovada: mocheta cu urme de la alte sejururi )! Micul dejun (e foarte bun, dar ar trebui mai diversificat, e prea simplu, chiar sarac)! Si problema insuficientelor locuri de parcare (care tine de municipialitate, nu de resort)!

• Gali (7/5): לא ממליצה החדר לא נוח אין מקום להתישב בשקט - החדר מעוצב מאוד והמקלחת נהדרת אבל אין איפה לשבת ואין איפה להיתרווח מלבד המיטה אין כיסא בחדר והכיסא שבמרפסת מאוד לא נוח מברזל בלי כרית אין אפשרות ממש לנוח בחדר מלבד להיכנס למיטה שזה לא הגיוני אין איפה לשבת בחדר אין כיסא נוח או כורסא להתרווח עליה צריך להיכנס למיטה בשביל לראות טלויזיה . גם הכיסא שבמרפסת שהיתה מאוד לא נוחה וקטנה הכיסא היה מברזל בלי כרית להניח שיהיי נוח פשוט לא נעים וצריך לחשוב פעמים אם חוזרים לחדר לנוח שם או להתישב בבית קפה לנשום קצת אין תמורה למחיר של החדר מהבחינה הזאת שאר המתקנים נוחים וארוחת בוקר נחמדה וצוות וניקיון בסדר

• Madelyn (10/5): - I had a one night stay in Argostoli as part of a longer trip. The Alley Hotel was absolutely adorable. The staff was friendly and patient. The rooms are so unique and I enjoyed the atmosphere. The breakfast was DELICIOUS. The fresh baked veggies were my favorite part. The Greeks know how to cook eggplant! All in all I was very pleased with my stay and experience. I would stay here again.
