• Emil (8/5): - Расположение топовое. Прямо возле начала бикини пляжа. Идти 1.5 минуты. Отель неплохой. Завтраки можно выбирать, готовят нормально. Персонал хороший, приветливый. Есть несколько не критических претензий: 1. Кондер работает не очень хорошо. Впрочем, пусть и с трудом, но справляется. От жары мы не умирали. 2. Не работает вентиляция в ванной комнате. Это главный минус нашего номера. 3. Неудобный санузел. Маленький. Но привыкли. Хуже всего это убийственный порог в туалет. Это реально проблема, чуть пятки не отбили. В целом, на недельку пожить нормально.
• Pavel (10/5): - Ukulhas is amazing place. Holiday Haven is very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms were clean. Breakfast are amazing (especially the Maldevian tuna). Manager of the hotel (Lakey) did help.us with everything (arranging boat, scuba diving, etc.) I would fully recommend this accomodation.

• Margot (10/5): - On a passé un séjour de 10 jours parfait. L’hôtel est propre, la literie est confortable et le personnel vraiment vraiment adorable. Nous voyageons avec un bébé de 10 mois et ils ont tout mis en place pour que le séjour se passe bien. L’hôtel est à 2 minutes à pied de la plage. Et le transfert de l’aéroport a était très facile. Nous reviendrons, merci pour ce beau séjour.

• Edina (8/5): - Nagyon jó helyen van, kijöttek elénk a kikötőbe, intézték a transzfert. Boltok, éttermek a közelben. Nem takarítottak egyszer sem, szemetet se vitték el egész héten, törölközőt külön kérésre cserélték. A reggeli kicsit egyhangú néhány nap után és csak 8tól lehetett kérni.

• Dominika (10/5): Best place to stay in Ukulhas - Our stay at Hotel Heaven was truly perfect in every way. The staff is incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The rooms are spotlessly clean, large, bright, and spacious, thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need: a fridge, kettle, hair dryer, hot water, TV, great lighting, and even beach towels. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, ensuring total relaxation. The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the Bikini Beach and offers delicious breakfast.This was a wonderful stay, and we will definitely return.
• Mona (8/5): - Host and staff were friendly and the room was clean. They offer laundry services as well, which are reasonably priced. Breakfast was good. -The tours offered through the hotel are outrageously overpriced. They offered a snorkeling safari (snorkeling at three different spots) for 70$. We then did some comparisons of providers on the island and found one that offered the exact same tour for just the two of us for 45$. -Even though we filled in a form for our breakfast order in the evening for the next day, one the first day it was difficult to get what we ordered. We ordered pancakes with fruits and didn’t get fruits. When we asked, they said that they didn’t have any. They then went and bought some, which we appreciated, but they didn’t tell us and when they brought them, we had already eaten the pancakes. We ordered one coffee and one juice and got two coffees. Breakfast on the second day came as ordered. -There is no window in the bathroom, so you cannot get in any fresh air and the bathroom remains wet and smelly all the time. -There were some stains on the bedsheets and there was no room cleaning.

• Susannah (8/5): Very good - I loved that we could walk to either side of the island easily, and the water is beautifully clear and warm. Initially we found the swimming was great, early in the morning on the reef with lots of fish and turtles to see. There is great food at Celeste restaurant where we ate excellent Maldivian food and the service was really friendly and helpful. The people at the guest house are really friendly and helpful and it felt very safe. There are several shops on the island which stock everything you need on a beach holiday. We loved wandering around the port where we saw sting rays, nurse sharks and squid. The main snorkeling beach was unusable at certain points of the day as the jet skis were carving up the beach in a way that was hazardous for swimmers. This was also noisy and polluting for the reefs which are already quite bleached and damaged. We were also surprised at how much building there is going on on this beautiful island which will really change the atmosphere of the local island.

• Mena (4/5): Disappointing - Nothing to mention The room has a lot of insects of all kinds. Going upstairs is a big risk due to the difficulty of the stairs inside the room. While you sleep, you will notice large ants walking on your face and body. The restaurant is far from the hotel. You must move to the restaurant. The restaurant does not offer any juices or drinks, only water, with a full board stay. There are no toiletries in the room and the staff does not respond to your requests. WiFi not working in room you have to go out of room to enjoy slow wifi Also when you leave the hotel, it will not take you to the seaport.

• Nel (9/5): Comfortable and cost-effective lodge on Ukulhas - This is an intimate lodge on the island of Ukulhas, with only four rooms, in contrast to many of the bigger box hotels. The room is somewhat spacious, with high ceiling, lots of natural light, and very clean. The electrical and wifi are good, and the AC not bad. A nice breakfast is included with the stay. Mattresses are very comfortable - a rare instance where you actually have a mattress top. Staff is very helpful with any needs you may have.

• Andy (4/5): Unfortunately, a get what you pay for kinda place as opposed to great value for money. - Breakfast options were good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nearly throwing up every morning when turning on the shower, water smelt like it was being pulled out of the drains. Fridge also smelled terrible, nor did it work. TV didn't work either, and the ceiling fan was noisier than a diesel generator.

• Christiane (6/5): Pleasant - The staff cooking dinner and welcoming guests was very friendly and helpful.the rooms nice and big with good light and warm shower UKHULAS IS A DUMP, A PERMANENT BUILDING SITE IN EVERY BLOCK. ALL BLOGS ABOUT UKULHAS ARE OUT OF DATE OR ARE KNOWINGLY DECEITFUL. BUILDING NOISE EVERYWHERE EVEN ON THE BEACH BUILDING RUBBLE EVERYWHERE ALMOST ALL PRIVATE GARDENS CEMENTED OVER. A NEW TAKE ON JONI MITCHELL S "THEY PAVED OVER PARADISE" in addition to the building noise permanent thumping music at highest volume from Coconut Hut on beach. Staff unwilling to turn it down just a little and very aggressive about it. THE ACCOMMODATION: NO COMMUNICATION BTW OWNER AND STAFF SO NOBODY TO MEET ME AT THE FERRY. SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS NOT CONVEYED BY OWNER TO COOK. ALTHOUGH FLOORS ARE VERY CLEAN THE FURNITURE AND DOOR MOULDINGS ARE NEVER DUSTED, SO RELUCTANT TO HANG UP ANYTHING OR PUT AWAY ON SHELVES
• Viktoria (6/5): Mixed experience but great host - Great host that really took care of our topics like getting a speedboat and a girl change. Breakfast was good and on the agreed time the room was nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and the wifi was great. There were even fins that we could use for free. The location was very close to the beach and quiet. The room as well as the bathroom I was staying in was mouldy and smelled really bad. After the first night out of four I asked for a change. The house could organize a hotel change for me free of charge after the second day. I really appreciated that. It had rained often before my stay, nevertheless the state of the room is not acceptable for a hotel.

Great communication, well-equipped rooms, delicious breakfast (I had the Maldivian one), regular room cleaning including fresh towels. The location is central and quiet. The owner is an interesting, open-minded and chill person who will help you with anything.
• Ilse1992 (10/5): Holiday Haven = Holiday Heaven 🌝 - We had a very nice stay @ Holiday Haven. The staff was polite, friendly and helpfull! The location was good, nearby the bikini beach and harbour.
• Åsa (9/5): Nice little hotel with charming personnel in the middle of the island - Beautiful little hotel right between the island Main Street and the bikini beach. Both Lackey and David were really helpful and charming. We stayed in the family room and the kids really liked to stay on their own on the loft. Beware of that the stairs are really steep though, so I wouldn’t let small children sleep on their own up there. Speaking of sleep, the beds were really good! Breakfast was ok (ordered the evening before) with a standard selection. The local dishes were really tasty and the fruit platter was generous. Small grocery stores just a few minutes away and the bikini beach approx a five minute walk away. Beach bar Ocula was the best! The trip from Male to Ukulhas was a bit of a mess since we did not get information about the name of the boat we were booked on. And it was total chaos in Male with a lot of boats coming and going and no information about the destination of them. Since there were only two boats per day we were anxious we’d miss our slot. When I finally called the hotel it was all sorted quickly though.

We really enjoyed our holiday here because it exceeded all our expectations. We also had a snorkeling activity organized by the host for a fair price. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Surely, if we're to repeat our trip to Ukulhas, we would stay in Holiday Haven Hotel
• Verified traveler (6/5): Cheap guesthouse - The staff is not in the office every time, so must ask them to make the room. Otherwise, you can't get towel and bottles of water. Even they make the room, there are sands even on the bed. You can choose 5 different foods for breakfast and they were so so to compare with other guesthouse. They requested green tax at $3 per person/per day, but we already pre-paid to Hotels.com. So must check. The owner was nice and informed everything and I only met him on the first day.The room and the bathroom are not easy to be ventilated.
• Jaroguara (10/5): Amazing experience - The guys were very nice and helpful starting from helping to book the transfer and meeting us at the airport till the last good-bye at the harbor. The hotel is very quite and pretty close to the beach. The rooms are clean and very nice. They offer snorkeling equipment to enjoy the underwater views. You can order food from one of the restaurants directly from the hotel. We are fans of the local food, so we were absolutely happy with the fish, seafood, curry and rice choices at the restaurants. The hotel has reserved sun-beds and umbrellas on the beach, and the beach is very clean and stunningly beautiful. This is the perfect place if you a looking for calm relaxing time. Thanks a lot for this incredible 7 days.

• Helen0275 (8/5): Real island living - We are a family of four (kids aged 14 and 16) that stayed for 5 nights in September. Originally we were booked for 10 nights. Luckily for us we changed to 5. The place is very quiet and relaxing which is what you want but there wasn't much to do with out paying out a lot of money. Our room was clean and tidy but not very safe access to the kids room up very step stairs. Staff were very helpful. Food choices were very limited. All the cafes have the same menu. The island itself was clean and interesting to sample real island living.

• dianav616 (10/5): We love this place! - Holiday Haven Ukulhas “No hidden charges”: A true taste of the Maldivian Island experience. We were made to feel so welcome and Afzal, Aslam & Manu could not be faulted. Their interaction was as much or as little as we wanted, not only do they run a fantastic guest house, they were happy to chat and speak on Maldivian cultures. Breakfast was either Maldivian (Good choice) or Scrambled eggs, sausage with toast and Jam and drinks. A few steps to biking beach and breathtaking views, they provided equipment to undertake snorkelling, beach towels, water, tea and coffee and bathroom products. They offer excursions and will take you to great places for your choice of different experiences. You won’t regret staying here, we stayed 3 nights but could easily of stayed more, we could give them 10 stars 🌟
