• Vincent (10/5): - En dehors des entiers battus, et des usines à touristes telles que Boracay, Tablas a beaucoup de charmes et d'authenticité. Footprints beach resort est un superbe emplacement, avec vue sur la plage et le coucher de soleil. Les patrons étaient très conviviaux. Ambiance calme et familiale. Nous avons apprécié la musique douce agréable et l'absence de karaoke!. De plus, la cuisine était bonne (ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas aux philippines). J'y retournerai avec un très grand plaisir. Le système de fermeture à clé des chambres pourrait être amélioré.

• Arno (9/5): Wunderschönes Resort an einem herrlichen, langen Strand. Absolut empfehlenswert. - Das Resort liegt direkt an einem herrlichen Strand mit klarem Wasser. Im offenen Restaurant gab es gutes Essen. Man konnte auch an einem der Tische, die unter den Palmen im Sand stehen essen. So schön! Wir haben unsere Schuhe erst wieder angezogen, wenn wir mit dem Motorroller einen Ausflug gemacht haben. Die Beachbungalows haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Zeit auf unserer Terrasse haben wir genossen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Auf das Essen musste man ziemlich lange warten.

Zápasy slunce excelentní, kuchyně dokonalá, personál výborný.Doporucuji pro rodiny s dětmi, díky majiteli jsme se podívali do místní školy. Lednice vždy plná piva, krásný ruch moře. Opravdu doporučuji. Byli jsme zde 7 nocí a můžu s klidným svědomím říct, že nenajdete kouzelnejsi ubytování než je toto. Nenašel jsem jedinou věc.

• Jonas (10/5): A truly exceptional and unforgettable stay in a beautiful beachfront resort with amazing staff and outstanding service. - We absolutely loved everything about Footprints Beach Resort. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and genuinely caring, and the service was outstanding at all times. The food was excellent as well – so good that we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the resort every single day. Our beach hut was located directly on the shore, so it truly felt like living right at the ocean. We extended our stay by an extra night because we enjoyed it so much. The team helped us with every request, gave helpful advice, and even arranging a scooter rental was extremely easy. Although the resort is a bit remote, it is absolutely worth the trip, and the transfer was reliably organized in advance. We would definitely stay here again when we return to the Philippines. There was honestly nothing we didn’t like. Everything exceeded our expectations.

• vanrooij (10/5): Great stay at Footprints - We spent three absolutely perfect nights at Footprints, right on the beach in the Philippines. The accommodation was very pleasant, comfortable and air-conditioned, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. Everything was available on site, making the stay very convenient. The food was excellent and varied, and we enjoyed every meal. We were also able to hire scooters directly on site, which made it easy to explore the island. The staff were lovely, always smiling and attentive, as was the manager, who gave us a warm welcome. If we ever come back to this island, we'll gladly return to Footprints!

• Simmons (4/5): If you are black you should travel elsewhere - N/A You don't get a second chance to make a first impression. If you are African American, you will feel unwelcome. I'm black, and my wife is Filipino and the owner and his wife felt uncomfortable with us being there. They show more attention toward European couples and it was noticeable.

Magic place to go for a long walk through the deserted beach. Rooms are full equipped. Warter activites like paddle board as well. You can also rent a scooter in resort and make a fabulous trip through the island. The best place to stay in Tablas🥰❤️ I didn't like that I chose overrated Boracay. If I could turn back time I would stay at Footprints much longer. Thank you guys❤️ I wish you all the best😘

Owen and Angie are the perfect hosts, nothing's a problem,, food is excellent, great menu, but if you like seafood, which i don't, thats all that is limited, big diverse menu on other foods local and international

The rooms are clean, the restaurant is good value for money, with a mix of Filipino and Western food and drinks, the area is quiet and safe - there's literally nothing bad to say. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, who are really lovely people. We were greeted with hugs by their daughter and their dogs chose to accompany us as we walked along the beach. Very family-friendly, but also great for couples. We'll be back again in future.

• Jeffrey (10/5): - Footprints is a unique, casual beachfront resort on the beautiful west side of Tablas Island, PI. The owners (Owen and Angie) are phenomenal hosts, doing everything they can to make your visit to Tablas special. The resort fronts a stunning and mostly empty beach with great sunsets and long stretches to walk. It is shallow, so swimming at low tide can be challenging, but the water is generally calm and clear. The beachfront cottages are simple, but adequate in every regard. Mine had a comfortable queen bed, split unit air conditioning more than up to the task, a fridge for anything I wanted to keep cold and a reasonable bathroom with a shower with on demand (electric) hot water. It's worth noting that Footprints doesn't provide daily housekeeping. They take a casual view and you need to ask if you want cleaning or fresh towels. But the minute you ask they will be provided with a smile. The best part of the cottages is their oceanview front porch which includes a hammock, chairs and a small table. When I wanted a romantic meal with my GF Owen graciously brought over a dining table and candles and had us served right on the porch. Stunning. The restaurant serves an incredibly wide range of food (Filipino, European, American, Indian, etc.). It is mostly good, but necessarily not always excellent. (Owen isn't a seafood fan so that is not their strength). I am confident that everyone can find something satisfactory to eat-if not, they will guide you where to go.

• Margarethe (10/5): Wonderful place to relax and enjoy some quiet time on the beach. - The place is very quiet and perfect to relax for a few days. The view from the beach side rooms and from the restaurant is very nice and the sunset is just amazing. And - extra plus - they have really good coffee at the restaurant. The owners are also very helpful in organising tricycles or other transport options! Nothing, it was perfect!
• Catalin-d (10/5): Excellent - Excellent accommodation right on a (not white) sandy beach, hence you can swim anytime no matter if it's low tide. The owner is a very friendly person and will help with anything you need. Scooters are also available for rental and the island has a lot to offer! When leaving we asked the staff for a tricycle transfer to the port, but got a motorbike instead which was very very uncomfortable for 2 persons with backpacks. Also, guy charged more than double the normal price, and staff reaction was "petrol is expensive"...this left us with a bitter taste after an excellent 4 nights stay

They have restaurant as well, and you can rent motorbike also. Little bit expensive compared to the other Philippines accomodations.

We especially love how spacious the bathroom of the accommodation is. We only stayed for a night, but wished have stayed longer. The location.
• Andrew (9/5): Superb - Lovely location on Tablas' west coast. Some much needed relaxation, this place was well suited. Enjoyed eating great food from their restaurant and walks on the beach with their dogs for company. Nothing. I would have stayed longer if ferries were more regular.

The place is kids-friendly thanks to the children’s owners and animal-lovers as well (3 dogs, cat and turtles) Laundry service is very convenient when travelling with small kids (below 4 yo) The meals are not cheap, compare to local price but tasty!

• Iamqueendiii (9/5): Overall, an amazing stay. The place is a hidden gem for its sunset view and free-spirited aura. - 1. Sunset is amazing! 2. WIFI connection is fast! 3. The food is really good too, great variety. 4. Ate staff that always smiles is a breath of fresh air. 5. The ambiance is superb. 6. Very private place and not too crowded. 7. Payment options such as GCASH and bank transfer is really helpful. 8. You can pool your orders for the whole stay and just pay before checking out. 1. Improve the "clearbook" in the room. Its old already. The info there is not complete also like, you can add the menu there for advance reference of the guests so you can save waiting time. There is no instruction on how to use the safety deposit box so we weren't able to use it. 2. The exhaust fan is broken? 3. The shower settings is too high for someone like me lol. I literally cannot reach it. 4. The place is far so no sari sari store near to buy small snacks nearby. But, I learned that most of the resorts are really far from the main road.

The owners, Owen and Angie, were amazing and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They were very knowledgeable about the area. It is off the beaten path, so be prepared to be “away from it all”! We were nicely surprised to find such a well established beach hotel at the end of the road.

Angie and Owen the owners are very knowlegable, very helpful and run a really great place. Having to leave the bar some nights as the kids use it as a screaming playroom in larlte evening⁹, lots of guests were prefering to sit and chat in peace over drinks bought outside as the kids screams in the bar get a bit much.

No noise at night comfortable bed clean bathroom, everything is functioning at the room. The beach is nice and perfect for a walk or just to swim. The owner is caring for the guests transportation and whatever is needed. We had a great time. By the way even the dogs are nice and well behaving. Breakfast is good. Scooter for rent available to explore the island. Nothing, maybe a bit more choice of meals would be nice.
• Denise (10/5): The place to be at for a relaxing holiday - Footprints was amazing! The staff was so welcoming and helpful, and the owners Mr Owen and Anjie were simply the kindest. The food at the resort was super tasty, and quite affordable. There’s a menu with good options to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The resort lies outside of any major towns, making it very peaceful and the only people around are other guests at the resort. The beach was simply breathtaking, especially during the sunset. A big plus for cute dogs!! Nothing major, but the blinds in the room let in quite a bit of light in the morning.

• Florian (10/5): Charmantes, kleines Resort am Strand - Unglaublich tolles kleines Resort am absoluten Traumstrand! Das ganze Team ist sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Als Rückzugsort aber auch als Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge auf Tablas der perfekte Ort. Wir würden gleich wieder ins Footprints gehen.
• Maria (10/5): - Good place to relax. Owners very good host and make sure you are comfortable. Diverse Filipino and western menu. Cottage with hammock in front of the beach and you could see and hear the weaves which is the best way to relax and unwind. Highly recommended
• Laurent (10/5): Le paradis les pieds dans le sable - Loin de tout très calme plage immense de sable fin, personnel souriant et très serviable. Restaurant bon et pas cher. Le bungalow sur la plage est grand, très propre, bien conçu on dort bercé par le doux bruit de la mer.

• Nathalie (10/5): Great stay with amazing hosts - We stayed a week in May. It was the perfect getaway on a lonely beach for us. The sea in front of the resort is clean and you can still swim when the tide is low. We had the aircon bungalow. It was the cleanest accomodation we had in all our Philipinnes travel. The hosts, Angie and Owen are so nice and take care of everything. If you want to go somewhere they have bikes or can arrange a local transportation. The kitchen crew makes a great job. The food is really good. You can choose between Philipino dishes and western food (carbonara is really good). We really enjoyed our stay. We loved to just walk on the beach with the dogs. During our stay they had cute little puppies. We really had nothing to complain about and would return without hesitation.
• Anna Charis R (10/5): Perfect Getaway! - Nestled in a spot off the beaten path, Footprints is the place you go to if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. That said, even in a remote setting, creature comforts like air-conditioning, and hot showers are on hand. You can't beat the view with the beach right there on the doorstep. And the management and staff are so friendly and helpful, making sure your stay is pleasant and restful. Can't wait to go back for another getaway!
