Guest Reviews
Formiche in camera.
Accueil sympathique. Chambre simple propre. O
- paolo (10/5): albergo pulito e personale cortese.
endroit calme
- LinBLG10 (2/5): Terrible. Never stay here! - Worse hotel of our two week vacation. Fortunately we only booked one night here.
-Rooms were not noise proof at all - we could hear people walking, whispering, doors opening and closing, water running in the pipes, etc. At night and in the morning.
-Toilet had dingy smell.
-Mattress is in poor condition. It must be very old and worn. It gave us backache.
-Breakfast was poor - 7 euro and not even real croissants or pain au chocolat. By that I mean the croissants and the pain au Chocolat were the cheap type you buy in plastic packets from supermarket, not fresh from bakery on the day...so disappointed someone even had the nerve to serve this crap.
-Worse, we were sitting on the hotel patio at night and saw rats running and rummaging through the hotel bar....
- peterf175 (4/5): Not very special - This was our only disappointing hotel in all three weeks of our trip. It's not bad, it's just not at all special. If you want a motel 6, this is like that, in that it is clean, a little on the edge of town, (A very uninteresting town) but without the charm and uniqueness we've come to expect in France.
- Zielistka (6/5): OK for short stay - We stayed one night at Hotel U Liamone during our travel through Corse.
For such short stay it is ok. Room and bathroom are rather small, but still ok and clean. You have a table and chairs outside, so you can spend a nice evening drinking wine.
There is a pleasant restaurant on place, we did not eat there, but tried rose wine and remember it as good. Prices both in hotel and restaurent are reasonable.
In the morning you have 2 minutes to go to Boulangerie to get croissants for the breakfast, or you can buy breakfast at the restaurant.
For longer stays location can be a disadvantage, you can hear noise from the street, and it's rather far away from the centre of Saint Florent.
