- Gray (9/5): I had a very comfortable stay at this friendly and high quality hotel. - This hotel is centrally and conveniently located. It is well staffed by friendly and professional people. The facilities are great and the room I had (7th floor) was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant is excellent. Even though the street my room looked out on was narrow, and used mostly by rickshaw bicycles, it was nevertheless quite noisy during the night. There is a mosque just down the street so the call to prayer is loud. All this means that if you are light sleeper you might need earplugs! I slept very well however and didn't find it bothered me, in fact I quite liked it.

The tobacco smell gets sucked up by the rooms and the smell is not acceptable. Client can go outside the hotel on the ground floor to smoke.

- Hridisushmita (2/5): Will never go there - I don't know,how they deal with guests,I went for pool for my swimming class,like horrible cleanliness of pool,washroms handles are broken,no drainage for water in pool,no ventilation in indoor pool,most important thing the behavior of receptionist is very rude. 1 hour pool is 500-600 taka. Yes they can maintain the time schedule but the way they talk like they are provided us as granted,The hotel management should teach them how to talk to guests. 1 good thing just the pool water was clean & they provided depth so that swimming can be learnt for beginners

- Ranjan Kumar (7/5): My stay at Sky City Hotel was fine, with several facility, cleanliness, and maintenance issues that did not match its 4- - Location is good! Breakfast is best! No bar in the hotel, yet it claims to be a 4-star property — not good! Even the hotel staff were recommending other 4-star hotels’ bars. How can a hotel business run like this? Makes me wonder if I should book another place next time. Toilet amenities were insufficient for showers. I requested a non-smoking room, but there was still a smell of tobacco. There was water seepage from the ceiling in front of the basin while I was brushing my teeth — which made me feel uneasy, wondering whether it was clean water or a sewage leak from the upper floor. These are all things the hotel can and should improve. The only plus: airport pickup was free — but surprisingly, airport drop-off was not.
- Abdul (10/5): Perfect hotel for those wanting professional service. - Such excellent service from the beginning with a meet and greet staff picking us up from the airport and taking us to hotel in complimentary shuttle service. Reception staff are very professional and all staff know how to look after their guests, some speaking English fluently. Breakfast was so nice with a variety of dishes and staff assisting in bringing food and drinks when asked. They have a really nice clean swimming pool which we spent every evening in, with a steam room. For those wanting some exercise they have fully equipped gym. They offer a guided tour of the city which was nice for those visiting for the first time in Dhaka. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The managers go that extra mile to make sure their guests are looked after. Can’t wait to go back and will definitely recommend this hotel. Nothing bad to stay

Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées, avec une literie très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et de qualité. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et serviable, en particulier Md Showket Alam, qui s’est montré très professionnel et attentif à mes besoins tout au long de mon séjour. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour un séjour à Dhaka, que ce soit pour un voyage d’affaires ou touristique. La piscine pourrait être améliorée

- 523munir (10/5): Felt like our London home. - Excellent service we held our son's wedding at the banquet hall. excellent food, service and quality of rooms. 24hrs service. Top notch gym very friendly and helpful staff especially the airport drop off was very appreciated. Breakfast pleased the western pallet and the eastern pallet. Location very good for getting around Dhaka. We stayed at the Royal suite which is excellent for a family with individual privacy as well. The rooftop barbeque was top quality we would highly recommend visitors to this hotel.

- Hannah (7/5): Clean pool, friendly staff - The pool was good to cool down in, it’s on the first floor and is not overlooked. Bring your towel from your room. The room was clean and a good size. The staff were very attentive, I can’t remember all the names except Boni Amin! We had the buffet breakfast, there was a fair range of foods to choose from and it was a good start to the day. They also do evening meals and there’s a range of international dishes as well as Bangladeshi food (which I’d recommend). The room WiFi was good, and you have to log in to separate WiFi in the cafe or lobby downstairs, but this wasn’t a problem. Dhaka is a busy city so expect some street noise. The curtains aren’t blackout so bring an eye mask.

- Flavella (10/5): Authentic hotel of character with helpful staff - This is an authentic hotel with amazing staff who bend over backwards to be of assistance and make your stay at home from home. Hotel has amazing restaurant with really well cooked meals extremely good price! Showket was amazing and looked after us like VIPs.. and helped us book a car for a day trip at a very good rate. The hotel is located in a very busy area so if you’re looking for an exciting experience in Bangladesh this is great - not so much if you’re after another “Hilton”. We also enjoyed the spa facilities . Rooms were a little old-fashioned and my room was opposite some kind of service entrance so there was a lot of coming and going and doors slamming and trolleys passing but not at night when I found it peaceful and slept well until morning prayers!

- Barri (8/5): - The location is centrally located if you want to see the really busy Dhaka, near the market. It's not posh, but the room is big, spacious, comfortable, and has all the amenities. The excellent staff is polite and attentive at reception, restaurants, and transportation. They are eager to help and take good care of you. The only thing I reported was some leakage in the bathroom after taking a shower, which they cleaned immediately but need to fix. Still, it didn't affect my visit. I would stay there again

- Md (1/5): Very poor professionalism from staff - They decorated the room well as per instruction. They charged crazy extra money for decorations and some flowers which never makes sense. For their fault I’ve charged extra for flower’s color in the bed. They calculate USD rate to BDT manually and charged me twice for the rent. Very poor professionalism the receptionist to the room service. I would never recognise it as even a 3 star hotel.

- ZAKSUSAN (10/5): Excellent Hotel in the middle of the City - During our visit to Bangladesh we stayed in this hotel twice. My family enjoyed our stay and had a great experience. My young daughter and I used the heated pool every day. I enjoyed using the well equipped large gym. Breakfast was great. All the staff were very courteous and friendly. In the middle of Dhaka city this a gem. I would definitely stay here again in our next visit to Bangladesh.

- Jennifer (6/5): Not pleased - The main reason I booked this hotel was for the jacuzzi and it was not available. I called before I went to it and asked if it was open and available and was told yes. Also, the steam room is only available for an extra cost and the pool was cold. I am disappointed with this situation. Additionally, bringing in food from elsewhere is not an option based on the rules. I am forced to eat at the same restaurant every day and the food is hot or miss. Overpriced as well. I found a cheaper place with a working jacuzzi and private balcony for a fraction of the cost per night at Sky City. I would have checked out of Sky City today but did not because I wanted to go to the jacuzzi right away and use the steam room. Obviously that did not work.

- santpedor (10/5): An excellent choice - An excellent choice of hotel amid the incredible chaos of Dhaka city. We were picked up from the airport by the hotels own vehicle . We stayed at the hotel on 3 different nights ( pre tour , mid tour and post tour ) and were totally satisfied with the accommodation . We were in room 613 which has an enormous double bed. The room was large, clean and very comfortable with a kettle and mini bar. The bathroom was also a pleasant surprise with a really good shower. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient which made our stay a memorable one. There is a very good restaurant where we had some excellent and reasonable meals including our breakfast with a tasty choice of dishes. I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.
