- Jill (10/5): Highly recommended as good value, clean and peaceful - Very clean, especially the bedding. Comfortable with good facilities enabling meal preparation. Quiet location. Late check in was not a problem.

We love old with a story and don’t mind that it needs updating to bring into the 2000’s!! The location is out of town which meant that it was lovely and quiet and the birdsong was beautiful!! Nothing really but I know others wouldn’t like it because of how old it is!!

- Johanne (10/5): Perfect for me - Superb quiet location in Hanmer Springs with 10 minute stroll into town with all its amenities. I stayed in room 5 for 1 night. Well equipped kitchen with tea, coffee and milk supplied. I stayed on my own but it would be perfect for a couple. Good shower and separate toilet. I wish I’d been staying longer … very fortunate to have no clouds as the night sky was absolutely stunning! Nothing

I rung to do my booking by phone and left messages but couldn't get anyone to reply or return my calls so I had to book via the agency which I don't like doing.

- Blaithin (9/5): Perfect place to stay in Hamner - This was a lovely cute motel for overnight in Hanmer Springs. It's tucked away off the main road but still walkable, we walked everywhere whilst staying here in Hanmer. There were nice amenities ready and the bed was comfy. They are absolutely lovely - I forgot a small bag of clothes and they posted it to me in Christchurch so I could collect it before flying home which was very appreciated! Nothing!
