- Maria (9/5): Wohlfühloase - gute Lage oberhalb des Sees, ruhig, toller Garten, Frühstück im Garten möglich, sehr leckeres Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten, großes Zimmer mit zwei Kleiderschränken und zwei Sessel, tägliche Reinigung, hat nichts mit dem B& B an sich zu tun, aber man muss wissen, dass es ca 4 km oberhalb dess Sees liegt, und man immer mit dem PKW zum Essen fahren muss, da das Laufen, ohne Fußgängerweg, lebensgefährlich wäre

- Bev Ann M (7/5): Authentic Italian villa - White Lilac is an authentic Italian villa. We stayed in the apartment. The property is about 40 mins from Milan Malpensa Airport. It's close to lots of places to visit, eg., Borromean Islands, Arona, Stresa, Mottarone, Lake Orta. The parking is very useful and located at the back of the property, accessed via an electric gate from the main road. The apartment is small, but ok. The kitchen area and bathroom are located on one level, and the bedroom up a set of stone steps. The bedroom is spacious, and the bed is comfy. There is a terrace outside. The grounds of White Lilac are very lovely, with gardens, an indoor conservatory building, swimming pool, and sauna. Breakfast is served in the main part of the villa. There's a nice choice of different foods, and Sonia is a very lovely lady who serves you fresh coffee, orange juice, and anything cooked. We appreciated the complimentary water and wine left in the apartment. There are nice restaurants in Arona and Stresa. There isn't a proper sitting area in the apartment, only a small kitchen with a table and chairs, and an upstairs bedroom. As with many old properties, there's an ant problem in the kitchen, so you can't leave any food out of the fridge. A few small things like clearing cobwebs around the windows and deep cleaning the shower would improve the comfort. We had some rain during our stay, and the water gathered on the terrace by the door as the grid was blocked. The swimming pool is not heated so unusable outside the summer months, unless you like cold water swimming. On the day we arrived, the neighbour was playing extremely loud music. We complained, and it was turned down/off. The property is on a quite busy road, so you do get road noise late into the evening. There is only one restaurant close by, but it only serves lunch. The next walkable one is downhill into Meina about 30 mins, but it's uphill all the way back. Otherwise, you need to drive.

De eigenaar en de medewerkster bij het ontbijt zijn ontzettend vriendelijk. Iedere morgen een gezellig praatje bij het zeer uitgebreide ontbijt. Op verzoek worden eieren gekit of gebakken en is er verse jus d’orange. Heel fijn dat de auto voor het huis geparkeerd kon staan. Niets

The hosts are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with real care and attention to detail. And the breakfast is simply delightful :) organic, locally sourced, and absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back. A hidden gem! One small note: the duvet was a little thin and not the warmest. But a minor detail that didn't affect our overall experience at all.

- Javier (9/5): Romantic Luxury by Lake Maggiore - I was absolutely delighted to have booked this place, even if only for one night. The location is magnificent, with breathtaking views, a romantic atmosphere, and truly adorable staff. The house, formerly owned by a famous Italian TV entertainer, has been transformed into a charming “mini luxury B&B.” This beautiful villa on the shores of Lake Maggiore is full of exquisite details and features a wonderful garden with a pool, private and secure parking, and stunning views over the lake region at the border between Piedmont and Lombardy. Arona is just a few minutes away by car, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, shops, and cafés offering the authentic Italian way of life. Please note that a car is necessary to reach the property and to move around, and there are stairs to access the house—so this may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties. Donatella and her team communicate exceptionally well and are helpful in every possible way. Breakfast is simply fantastic: fresh bread, fruits, juices, salumeria, and eggs prepared to your liking, all served with a smile, either indoors or on the terrace. The rooms are spotlessly clean and equipped with every accessory one could need. All in all, it was a truly magnificent stay, and I would happily return. The only thing which I didn't like, is that I couldn't stay longer as I had to continue for meetings to Milano, which is by the way, only 75min away.

- Chen (10/5): A beautiful B&B with wonderful hospitality and a delicious homemade breakfast, we’d happily return - We had a wonderful stay at White Lilac Romantic B&B. The place is beautifully maintained and impressively designed, creating a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We had specifically booked a room with a washing machine because we really needed one during our trip. Unfortunately, the machine in our room was not working, but the staff immediately stepped in and kindly took care of washing and drying our laundry themselves as part of their service. We truly appreciated their help and the way they handled the situation. The breakfast was excellent: rich, varied, and full of delicious homemade products. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again in the future. NOTHING

- Hanna (10/5): - Overall an amazing place! The most we enjoyed the warm and helpful staff, luxurious breakfast with local produce. Immediately after arriving, one felt relaxed and warmly welcomed. The room was spacious and clean with stunning views over the lake.
- Luca (9/5): Außergewöhnlich schöne Unterkunft - Das Ambiente war so wie wir es und gewünscht haben, idyllisch und perfekt zum abschalten. Der Garten mit Pool, sowie das tolle Frühstück mit lokalen Produkten war unser Highlight. Es war wirklich ein besonderer Aufenthalt. /

- Sevgi (10/5): - Très bel hôtel similaire à une maison d’hôte. C’est petit mais très chaleureux et convivial ! Les espaces extérieurs sont aussi très beaux, terrasse accessible depuis notre chambre (spacieuse et fonctionnelle) avec une très belle vue ! Le petit déjeuner TRÈS bon avec des produits locaux et servi par une agréable personne. Parking sécurisé sur place et piscine mais juste agréable à regarder en cette saison :) Allez-y, vous ne regretterez pas.

- Bosio (10/5): We only had a couple nights and it was in December however, this place is wonderful. - The breakfast was outstanding! The property's location was perfect. I will definitely go back there soon! Donatella is a fantastic host. She made everything simple, easy, and comfortable. I love this place. Can't wait to be there in the summer! Everything was exceptional. I wouldn't change a thing.

- paola (10/5): favoloso - Mi è piaciuto tutto, la posizione fantastica , la villa trasformata in B&B, è stata una splendida idea, le camere risultano insonorizzate e la quiete esterna si riscontra anche nella camera. Il servizio della colazione è assolutamente completo e le persone che ti accolgono sono al massimo della professionalità e cortesia. Esperienza da ripetere nulla

- Elodie (10/5): Vue imprenable sur le lac dans une maison authentique - La vue sur le lac, le jardin bien décoré et entretenu avec la piscine en contre bas de la maison, authentique. La chambre confortable et silencieuse, avec à disposition thé, café et bouteille d’eau, en plus un petit frigo. Le petit déjeuner copieux, sucre et salé, avec des produits faits maison et de la région comme le fromage, les yaourts et les confitures. La dame qui nous a reçu, toujours souriante et dynamique nous a conseillé sur des restaurants dans les environs, et des choses à visiter. Très disponible, serviable et attentionnée. Un grand merci ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

- Andrey (10/5): - Хорошее местоположение. Очень отзывчивые хозяева . Заезжали поздно ночью , нам прислали заранее подробную инструкцию по заселению . Были приятно удивлены , что номер был прогрет ( это большая редкость для Италии в холодный период года ) . У отеля удобная парковка . Небольшой уютный отель .

- Marco (10/5): Aussergewöhnlich gut und reibungslos. - Villa ist sehr gepflegt. Sehr aufmerksam in allen Details. Frühstück ab 8:30h mit einigen Produkten aus der Region wird persönlich vorbereitet und ist sehr ansprechend präsentiert.
