- Heather (9/5): Perfect location and overall great option for the area - The location was perfect; walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Thomasville. We were able to park our car and leave it there until we left. The house and rooms were exactly as pictured. Although our room had a lot of furniture, we were able to unpack our suitcases easily and had space for our belongings. Water pressure and water temperature were great. We asked for nothing scented to be used in the room prior to our arrival and that was respected. Joy was a sweet host and very accommodating. You won't leave the included breakfasts hungry; there was plenty of food and she accommodated various diet restrictions for us and fellow visitors. While the room doesn't have a refrigerator or microwave, there was one in the hallway that we were able to use. We also appreciated the little treats she provided. If you're sensitive to scent, be aware that the house has a lot of scented products in use (thankfully our room was fine). In addition, the house is kept at (for me) an unbearably cold temperature and you don't have individual controls in the rooms since it's central air.

Joy was so sweet and very attentive to everyone’s needs that was staying there. I would highly recommend their B&B I can’t find anything to complain about. You will enjoy the atmosphere.

The bed is narrow, one had to sleep straight, you move, you will be in the floor the mattress is at least 50 years old, rough and not comfortable. Breakfast was served but it took 2 hours and very slow service

The home is huge and all the rooms all have character and style. My bedroom had everything needed for a restful nights sleep… the extra nice bathrobes were a surprise touch. The downtown historic location cannot be beat. In this day and age of lack luster customer service this property shines. Joy, the owner and host, was just the best. She attended to my every need and her lavish morning breakfast was a perfect way to begin a new day. If you want value for the money and a spectacular bed and breakfast experience The Thomasville Bed and Breakfast is the place!

The location of the house was perfect. Close to the downtown area with the shops and not far from Pebble Hill Plantation. Loved the front porch with the rocking chairs to sit & relax. Can't think of a thing that I didn't like.

Loved the decor and the central location of the house. Not sure I had any major dislikes. The bath tub could prove somewhat challenging for guests with physical limitations.

We had eggs benedict a real treat! The owner was very friendly and made us feel right at home!! Our room had a glass dormer over the door to the hall and the hall light was on the entire night which made our room very bright also the 3 windows in the room were not covered at the top above the shutters.... even more brightness..... so we really did not have a good nights sleep. For those of you that need a darker space bring an eye mask to block out the light! I will the next time!

My husband and I had trouble sleeping only because we’ve been use to a pillow top mattress and the bed we slept on was firm. However, we would definitely stay here again!

The location was within walking distance of the old business district, the place was very clean, and the breakfast was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the portions were over the top. This is probably the best B&B we have ever staid in....anywhere. We will definitely schedule a longer visit next Fall. Thank you Joy.

Hot breakfast was included and very tasty. Off street parking available. My only concern was my mattress was not very comfortable, so next time I visit, I will stay in a different room at the B&B.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Beautiful House, YET - The home was beautiful, decorated perfectly. Yet, the owner, Joy is cold and non-communitive. After traveling all day, when we walked in she didn't ask "who we were" asked if we were booked for a "King Size", said yes. After dinner on our way back, we got a call telling us were are in the WRONG room and we needed to pay more. And the people that were booked in that room just happen to call and give the room up so they wouldn't move us. We had already used the shower and laid in the bed. Could you imagine the chaos. Thank God these people didn't show up. Also, we had to leave at 7:15 instead of breakfast time that was at 8:00. There was no adapting to accommodate us. I asked if we could get coffee. On our way out, as I was trying to get the coffee, Joy never spoke to me. It was my son's college graduation. and as I was getting coffee , she reached her arm under my arm to place a bowl of coffee beans under the coffee pot. I have stayed at many B&B and NEVER had the owners be rude or not "Check us in appropriately". Never left "early" and not get fruit or toast so something! Terrible place to stay!

Our two course breakfast was served elegantly with fine china, crystal, and chargers and at the time of our choice. We left feeling like we had been treated royally!

The next time we go to Thomasville, we will stay here again. All the furnishings were beautiful, parking was sufficient, and Scott and Joy knew how to make you feel welcome. Nothing but high marks for this B&B.
