- Laura (9/5): Beautiful boutique hotel - Beautifully renovated, historic, boutique hotel with plenty of character, spacious rooms, swimming pool and waterfront facing cafe / restaurant which is open at reasonable hours and not disruptive to a good night’s sleep. Hotel and cafe staff are lovely and thoughtful. Excellent location on the waterfront, just past the hustle and bustle of the Cairns promenade. The hotel is a 2km walk from the Reef Marina where tours to Green Island and Fitzroy Island depart, and closer to the main dining strip. Pricing is very reasonable considering the amenities, and compared to other well ranked hotels in the area. Small hotel. Cafe is frequented by uniformed health staff from Cairns Hospital which is located next door. Multiple buses go to and from the area for this reason - we were able to catch a bus to the hire car company very easily. Everything exceeded our expectations.
- frances (8/5): Great clean well maintained property. - Professional welcome, well maintained property, (apartment 56) pool and grounds Two adults travelling together we visited during school holidays so when we visited the pool area sometimes the noise from lots of children in the pool became a bit of an irritant. The property was on the outskirts of Port Douglas so we drove in to visit, may be an issue if you do not have a car although there are taxis and a shuttle bus.

The location was great - a little away from the hustle and bustle of where all the restaurants are but close enough for a nice walk on the boardwalk to get to the pier. The room was tastefully decorated and clean. We had room 7 which looks out onto the park area and water. The restaurant on site was amazing as well.

- Jana (9/5): Sehr charmantes Boutique-Hotel in toller Lage. - Unser Zimmer war liebevoll und praktisch eingerichtet, das Bett sehr bequem, und wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist eigentlich perfekt: Nur durch eine kleine Straße und eine schöne Rasenfläche vom Meer getrennt und noch angenehm ruhig, gleichzeitig erreicht man die Promenade mit vielen Restaurants und Shops in wenigen Gehminuten. Eine besonders schöne Geste: Wir waren über Weihnachten dort und haben am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag einen großen, sehr leckeren Obstkorb geschenkt bekommen. Darüber haben wir uns wirklich sehr gefreut. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen. Der einzige kleine Minuspunkt ist die Lautstärke in der Nacht. Das Haus ist recht hellhörig und man hört teilweise Flugzeuge, den Rettungshubschrauber vom nahegelegenen Krankenhaus sowie gelegentlich späte Heimkehrer. Das Hotel hat jedoch Ohrenstöpsel bereitgelegt, womit wir letztlich gut schlafen konnten.

- Louise (10/5): Understated luxury and period charm - Stunning interiors and art. Tasteful and elegant. Comfortable bed. Great location on the esplanade facing the ocean. Very pleasant space. There was a confusion about our booking - we were allocated the wrong room. Only restaurant staff were available at the time so they had to phone the manager for advice on what to do. It was all satisfactorily resolved though - with a complimentary upgrade as the room we had booked was not available :-)

- John (9/5): Perfect voor paar dagen Cairns - Mooi boutique hotel met heerlijke kamers, goede bedden en heerlijke douche. Perfecte lokatie, 20 minuten wandelen vanaf centrum over de boardwalk. Lekker zwembad aanwezig met ligbedden. Dichtbij de luchthaven. Goed restaurant aanwezig (€€). Soms komt er een vliegtuig over, maar wij hadden daar amper last van.

- Kirsty (9/5): Charming Beautiful stay - Everything you need - Absolutely everything and more you could want from a stay in Cairns, I booked this in a hurry and didn't know what to expect. This hotel is in a beautiful old building full of stunning character above their restaurant. I arrived later in the evening- the staff were incredibly attentive, I was upgraded to the ocean view room which was so beautifully decorated, comfortable and all details are well thought out and executed from a stocked fridge - cold waters and snacks extremely comfortable bed and brilliant shower! Food at the restaurant for all times of the day are some of the best In the area with great menu choices for everyone meaning you don't need to go far for a great meal! Brilliant coffee Fresh juices from the restaurant to grab and take on a stunning walk down the esplanade park for sunrise! I will defiantly be back when I stay in cairns and highly recommend. The only thing I did notice was early in the morning I could hear other people talking loudly in their room as this is a beautiful old building this is expected but even at night with the restaurant I couldn't hear much.

- Keiko (6/5): - The room was beautifully renovated and staff at the site were very friendly and helpful. , I wasn't aware that a few rooms are so much smaller and no views. Also, when we checked in, we struggled in finding our room. The message instructed me to go through a small alley way to reach the backyard of the two buildings . Then we finally found the lock box and the stairs to the room.The stairs were located at the restaurant backyard between the kitchen and toilets. During the search, I found out that I was not the only guest who lost at the site. I strongly recommend you check their own website to learn the details of the rooms, then you can at least compare the room rate for your proper hotel choice.

- Terence (10/5): A comfortable stay at Floriana boutique hotel. - We found our room was well appointed with a lovely view and with a very comfy bed. We also had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, which were of exceptional quality. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel for traveler’s who are looking for a comfortable stay. Nothing to report.

- Michaela (10/5): - Das Hotel versprüht Charme pur. Es ist sehr liebevoll hergerichtet, wir haben abends exzellent im angeschlossenen Restaurant gegessen. Es hebt sich wohltuend von all den großen Hotels in der Umgebung an. Wir haben nur eine Nacht übernachtet, weil wir am folgenden Tag ein Wohnmobil übernommen haben

- Patrick (10/5): Lovely accomodation in renovated house. - Beautiful room in restored house. Interesting history of owners who built it. Nice walk along the esplanade to the marina and restaurants etc. No private parking but free parking on street except after 12.30 pm until 6 pm.
- Tom (10/5): Exquisitely exceptionaly excellent - Beautifully styled art nouveau hotel. Immaculate rooms and stand out service. All this for little more than we pay for a Holiday Inn room in the UK. Lovely bar and best Old Fashioned I’ve had in some time. Wonderful experience from the little pool to the exquisite breakfast. Thank you. Difficult to say anything in this space. The curves on the top of the splash back above the sink didn’t match the other lovely arc curves. I know it’s pathetic to notice these things but with such perfection!!

- Lyndall (7/5): - Comfortable & extremely clean. Staff very polite & helpful. Restaurant & over all feel very Mediterranean. I was upgraded to a room that was upstairs at the back of the property which was directly over the kitchen. Was very noisy till quite late ( as is a working kitchen ) which was stressful for me as I had an extremely early start next day and was up for a lot of travel. I'd rather have been left with my original room & I had no idea where the pool was. Would only stay here again if I could actually review rooms & their location to restaurant & or kitchen.

- Michael (9/5): Lovely old refurbished building - Clean and refurbished old building in a great location We tried the adjoining restaurant which looks great but we didn’t think the food was amazing . Needed more seasoning and depth of flavour
- Bri (9/5): - Sehr tolle Lage. Es hatte alles was man braucht. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dass die Rezeption am Montag nicht offen war, wie auf der Webseite angegeben (offen bis 18 Uhr). Unsere Ankunft 17:30 Uhr. Auch das Restaurant war geschlossen.

- Leonida (10/5): - We loved the style of the hotel, the old house was renovated with great care and the facilities are very modern while preserving the original style. The staff is highly professional and friendly and minor issues were resolved very easily. The location is excellent, just in front of the promenade.
