Definitely got a bit hesitant as I initially drove up as the spot next door to this is dodgy looking and sort of looks like the accommodation to start with. However, the actual accommodation was great and I’d definitely stay here again. Very helpful and communicative staff as well.

Also, after having some difficulty contacting someone to open the security gate, we were upgraded to the family suite, which had a full kitchen. We loved the king size bed. It was so comfortable! It is only a short walk to shops and restaurants. There was a good size bathroom, but I wish the shower floor had a non-slip surface, or that a non-slip mat was provided. I have knee problems, balance issues and one flat foot, making it very easy to slip over when the shower floor is so smooth. Regardless of this, we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this hotel to others.

Clean other than a random hair on bed. Shower ran out of hot water but was peak time and only for a few minutes in morning. Good secure off street parking. Well positioned in town near restaurants and main street.

- Raymond (8/5): - We stayed two nights at the Griff Motel in September 2023. The room was newish and modern, nicely furnished with very comfortable bed. The kitchenette was small with the sink doubling as a bathroom wash basin. The small fridge had no freezer so we had to purchase ice. The location is excellent just a short walk to shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful.

- Kate (4/5): Disappointing stay - I won’t be staying again. I’m so disappointed as I’ve stayed here previously but this time it was like the neighbours were in my room. I didn’t get a wink of sleep as their TV was so loud until the early hours as the walls are so paper thin. I could even hear the gentleman on the phone! I was staying there before a big event and I left super early as I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Reception staff was absolutely lovely however and the room itself was comfy and clean.

- Mark (8/5): - Very clean and reasonably modern. No complains apart from the lack of staff on site. It can be noisy depending on your 'neighbours'.
- MA TRINIDAD (10/5): - Property is modern, clean and safe. Pillows and bed were better than other hotels. Towels are soft. The only thing that we don't like is the procedure of check-in. Other hotels just send you the code for easy check-in, but, the Griff Motel, you need to call them before your arrival and the guy that answered my call needs my credit card information, including the security 3 digit code which I'm not comfortable and since I already paid for the room already, I'm not expecting that my credit card details will be asked over the phone before opening your gate for us. You need to consider that your guests will be tired of going around the tourists area and there's no mobile phone signal in regional areas. Thank you and we hope that the management will do something to improve their check-in procedures.

The room was compact but had everything we needed and very clean and contemporary. Staff were extra helpful when I realised I had left some clothes in the wardrobe!! Position is great too.

Rooms are very nice, large comfy bed, big shower with great pressure, fridge stocked with lots of different things to purchase, excellent toiletries. Secure Car park outside your door. Only accessible to patrons as swipe card only access to car park and motel rooms. Friendly staff. Short walk to main street and restaurants. Very highly recommend this place.
