- Ebbie Azigwe (10/5): A Hidden Gem in Mullins Grove - We had a truly memorable stay at Mullins Grove, a boutique aparthotel just a short stroll from the stunning Mullins Beach. The location is ideal—peaceful yet close to great restaurants like Sea Shed and Pier One, and only a few minutes’ walk to the beach. The apartments are spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches like fully equipped kitchenettes, large balconies, and comfy beds that made us feel right at home. The grounds are lush and tranquil, with a lovely pool area that’s perfect for relaxing. We especially appreciated the friendly and attentive staff—Nicole and the team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even accommodating a last-minute flight delay with grace. Cleanliness and comfort were top-notch, and the property offers great amenities including free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, and free parking. We also loved the little extras like beach towels and the peaceful garden views from our patio. While a few guests noted minor issues like limited nearby grocery options and occasional construction noise, these didn’t detract from the overall experience. The apartments are ideal for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing escape with a touch of luxury3. We would absolutely recommend Mullins Grove to anyone visiting Barbados and look forward to returning!
- Rebecca (10/5): A beautiful stay - I recommend! - - clean spacious apartment - comfy big beds - 2 min walk to beach / bus stops - room cleaned every 3 days - friendly helpful staff - beautiful pool - extra large premium beach towels Not so much the properties fault but there is building works going on opposite the complex so the pool can be noisy with machinery. Arriving to the property after a long flight it might be nice to have a small milk , coffee , tea & sugar just so it tides you over until you can walk to the petrol station or get the bus to the supermarket.

No tea towels. 2 Threadbare small towels to last three days. More grove group construction next door so noisy you won’t use the pool

- Cathy Ann (10/5): - The three bedroom apartment was very, very spacious, clean, and had modern finishes. The furniture blended in well with the design and kept the space feeling light and fresh. The pool is a nice size and the area is very relaxing. My friends and I had a wondeful weekend there, it was the perfect peaceful get away. Nicole and Mark ensured that all of our needs were taken care of. Will definitely book my third stay next year.

- Andrea (8/5): Comfortable stay for a family of four looking for modern, accesible accommodations - Proximity to the beach was great and within less than 5 minuets walking distance. Enjoyed the modern aesthetic. Bedding was amazing in the primary suite!! Enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants like Sea Shed and Pier One in Port St-Charles. It would have been nice to have a few more basic amenities like sugar, kleenex, body wash and lotion. Also access to reusable bags for grocery shopping would have been a nice touch. I would also suggest increasing cleaning from every three days to every two. For a family of four, that was a long time to wait to get clean, dry towels. Construction in front of the hotel upon arrival on our first night lasted well beyond 10pm - but luckily that was the only night it lasted that long. It's unfortunate that there wasn't a washer/dryer in the apartment itself but this was easily remedied with one for the entire building on the upper floor. We had also just come from a different apartment complex the week prior that had an fridge with an automatic ice maker. This might be something to consider when purchasing the next batch of appliances.

- Ramrup (8/5): Great boutique hotel - Great boutique hotel in a safe location in Mullins. Beaches are not that great on this side, so drove to pebble beach and brownes beach for beach leisure. However, the hotel is near markets and restaurants within walking distance The hotel doesn't provide enough of the basic essentials when you arrive, no sugar, water, etc. Also, they need to supply more tioletries such as paper towels and toilet paper. Also, cleaning needs to be done every 2 days.

- Leigh (7/5): not much else to say pleasant stay no extra fluff for 3600 bucks - The wild monkeys daily at 4-5 pm like 10 it was amazing to see on the patio location was a taxi everywhere bc of distance and safety, roosters at neighbors behind woke me up at 5 am daily but whatever the pool looks better online it needs a revamp and the gym smelled musty and had no exercise equipment like a treadmill or bike just weights very bummed that a workout couldn’t happen . Another couch in living room would’ve been nice or chair to relax

They are building Mullins Grove 2 adjacent to the property and pool area and there is constant noise as would be expected from a building site. I was disappointed that this was not included in the property details and not communicated to me by Booking.com. Personally I would not have stayed at the property had I known.

And yes you can see the monkeys outside in the morning 🤞🏼 Pros: hairdryer, iron, washing machine, dishwasher etc. Cons: shampoo, soap are missing, just so you know We will definetely come back

And the views on the beaches were amazing...local foods were delicious... Nothing negative but having toiletries would be great...and although we used the internet to organize day trips and excursions, having a guide or book for recommendations would be an added plus.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home, thanks to Denise and Mark, who were fantastic hosts. Their hospitality and attention to detail made all the difference—they were always on hand if we needed anything but also gave us plenty of space to relax and enjoy our stay. The property itself is beautiful—peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by nature. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Whether we were enjoying a quiet morning on the patio or unwinding by the pool in the evening, it felt like a true retreat. The location is ideal—private and tranquil, yet close enough to stunning beaches and great local restaurants. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and experience the best of Barbados, Mullan’s Grove is a hidden gem. Huge thanks to Denise and Mark for making our stay so special—we can’t wait to return! Some of the facilities around it are very expensive but a short trip up to sleightstown and there great value to be got.

- Matthew (9/5): all good! - Really nice, spacious room. Great a/c and wifi. Pool was good, spent a lot of time there. Bed was big and really comfortable. Concierge was helpful and courteous right from arrival till we left. Nothing really, only thing was having to get across H1 to go to the beach or restaurants but is literally 3 mins away and not a big deal.

- Suite (10/5): All in all Mullins Grove is a beautiful property and the location is very nice and private. Would 100% stay here again a - LITERALLY EVERYTHING! The apartment we got was tucked away behind the property. At first we were sad that we weren’t facing the pool, but our patio proved to be the most peaceful sanctuary and my favorite place to spend time on the property. The property was very clean and the staff were so polite and accommodating. Our oven wasn’t working and as a family we cook alot and that was the intention throughout the trip so we intended to utilize the oven. They quickly offered to switch our rooms but because of the lovely patio i really did not want to leave so they offered us the use of the oven in the adjacent apartment that wasn’t occupied. Gym facilities were great and the area by the pool was always well kept(the pool was also warm). The location of the property is a bit far(30-45minute drive) from popular beaches and city life so if you do stay I would recommend renting a vehicle. But there are a lot of beautiful places in the area as well. Sea Shed which is walking distance away was hands now one of the most scenic restaurants i ever went to, and Mullins beach which is also a 2minute walk from the property was so beautiful and amazing at sunset. Also the couches in the apartment could be a bit more comfortable. We only realized it could convert to a bed the day before we left😅 wish we knew that before!

Would go back. - As described Spacious Good location Nice pool & loungers with beach towels provided Air conditioning & ceiling fans Good WiFi Equipped kitchen with washing machine (maybe take a small bag of washing powder but can buy it locally). Entrance is not obvious when you first arrive. Nearest shop is a petrol station which has basics like bread, water, butter, eggs, basic snacks & toiletries and also a cash point. Jordan’s supermarket is a 25 min walk away she opens at 8am (go early to avoid the heat). Much larger range of food/toiletries/drinks, etc. We enjoyed eating local food at Ci Ci’s, Grandene’s & more international style food Sea Shed (pricier) all within walking distance to Mullins Grove. Be prepared to wait for food, especially at Ci Ci’s, if you’re hungry, go before you get hungry! Beach loungers at Mullins Beach were around $45 Bbds for 2 ppl. Water sports possible. Taxi to/from airport was $144 Bbds/$75USD each way and using different companies. Takes around 35 mins with low traffic. Plenty of taxis outside the airport but you might want to find one to book for the way back. Largely clean but I noticed certain tiny aspects that could have made a difference, mainly with some of the kitchen utensils and bathroom sink. They were fine for the non-fussy but we washed them again ourselves. Not an issue but note it was a challenge to balance larger adapters in the sockets, not impossible, but bear it in mind if you have bulky adapters. Also not an issue but no bathroom toiletries are provided, just toilet paper & bathroom towels. It wasn’t clear how to check out but it turned out you just leave the key in the apartment and go. It was clear that the lady that showed us to our room wanted a tip. I have no issue with tipping but it was a bit of an awkward moment because we had just arrived after a long flight, tired and only had large notes. Actually I wanted to tip her but we didn’t see her again which was a shame. Maybe there could be another way to tip staff.

As it was dark, we could not find any signage to the property office . Thankfully a couple who were staying in the complex heard us outside and made us welcome on their terrace . After a phone call to Nicole it was rectified and someone came to show us to our room

A huge balcony, equipped kitchenette, comfy beds, beach towels, all you need to get started for an awesome time in Mullins Bay Barbados. The location itself is one of our favorites. Very secure and wonderful helpful staff from start to finish. AC worked great too. The gym was a bit musty.

Loved watching a huge troop of monkeys pass by on the ground and in the trees and fed some very tame birds on the balcony Not the most comfortable furniture - had back ache after one sleep and didn't improve Took 2 days to get maintenance to repair the shower to perform properly (only there 3 nights!) - water was only luke warm to begin with, no instructions how to boost, switch hidden in closet. Having stayed in other accommodation, Mullins Grove was most expensive and not worth the difference.

Provide some complementary water and such The area is a bit too quite at night. Morning breakfast was a struggle as well with nowhere near open for breakfast and the place not providing breakfast options. So to me, location isn't the greatest.

Apartment has everything you need and is conveniently located a short walk from Mullins bay. Managed to catch the wonderful Sea-shed twice before it closes for a few weeks. Would definitely use again if/when we return to Barbados Only slight negative was the construction noise from the development across the road from the cat park but we were out most days so didn’t really bother us

The location was a minute's walk to the beach, and this great place called The Fruit Basket with great drinks (with alcohol and without ). I was truly sad to leave but can't wait to come back!! I honestly loved everything. If I HAD to mention something I didn't like, perhaps a bit more seating in the living room? (There were 4 of us in a 2/2)

Our flight, was delayed but they accommodated a very late check in and we're so nice to us. Will be back for sure. A huge thanks to the concierge. The quality of the facilities which are shared were lower than I would think, having seen the apartment. The gym needs some upgrading and the pool area could be a bit more private.

- Angela (8/5): Great little place, close to beach but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. - Great location a short walk to the beach. There's a petrol station nearby with a food mart which covered most of our needs with things like eggs, bread, milk, beer. We ate out otherwise. Locally, both Sea Shed and Adrian's are excellent for food and drinks. A short walk away Grandene's and Bombas are also good options. The apartment has everything you need to cook as much as you want to. We didn't really see many staff around but Nicole was there on our last day and couldn't have been more helpful as we had thought we'd lost a pair of glasses, she called and visited the places we thought they might be for us, over and above customer service. The white sofa needs changing out, you feel like you can't sit on it as there's a sign saying you'll get charged extra for cleaning which isn't really very welcoming, but this is the only complaint, everything else was fab. The balcony is large and protected from the elements, we spent many an evening sitting and enjoying the breeze through the palm trees

One small suggestion would be to provide a few toiletries and supplies for the washing machine/dishwasher… not a problem for us as I had packed these.

Highly recommend the apartments - The location is excellent - right across the road from Mullins beach and a couple of very good beachside restaurants. The apartment was very spacious, modern, clean and well equipped. The staff were excellent, helpful, very friendly. The other guests were friendly - it has a really nice community feel. Nothing at all.
- Marco (10/5): Loved our family time here and would definitely come back! Thank you! - Fantastic way to spend a wonderful 9 days in Barbados. We didn’t end up using the pool because we were close to the beach or always out exploring the island. The unit had a bright, spacious, split bedroom layout perfect when travelling with our adult children. So convenient to have all appliances including a blender for our morning smoothies! Great to have Sea Shed, Mullins Beach and Gibbes Beach (Gibbes was our favourite) close by. It’s best to have a car, as it would be hard to explore other areas without one. Dryer takes a long time. Doesn’t have an ocean views, but again, we are so close to the water by a 3-10 minute walk, depending on which beach you choose.
- Nora (7/5): Good - Good apartment, clean, air conditioners, Tvs, bathrooms, little kitchen, everything Ok. Kind staff, gentle. A lovely pool. Good neighborhood, close to the sea, close to good restaurants. Noises, terrible noises. People cutting gardens and trees outside and inside the Hotel. People organizing everything for the high season, but what about us ? Fire alarms (false) incredible loudly for a looooong time because the responsible are not there to finishing the torture. And the Mattresses just terrible, and also fhe Sofas........ A place that could be heaven, but many times are ........

- Gordon (10/5): amazing villa stay - Omg this property was so beautiful, clean, and like a second home away from home. Property management was extremely helpful and checkin was smooth and nice. Full kitchen like it seriously was perfect and I’ll be back next year! this is my new home in Barbados indefinitely! loved it all
