Guest Reviews
- Jessica (9/5): Cosy and welcoming. - The staff were lovely and welcoming. The location wasn’t far from a station and there was a cute park nearby. It was easy to understand what was expected of me as a guest. Clean inside the beds and rooms. While the beds themselves were clean, there was a lot of dust above the bunks that you could see through the air spaces inside the bed space.

- Plamena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arlen (10/5): great! - I stayed at the female dormitory and it was cleaned daily, so it felt comfortable. aircon was great as well in summer. Beds are comfortable and big.
Floors are locked so it felt safe! Staff was kind also. Common space is small (kitchen/living room) so I would only go there to fill my water bottle, but since I was on holiday I spent a lot of time outside and it wasn't that bad.
- Vicca (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and comfy I put my small suitcase in the receptionist because I wanted to explore Japan before my check-out. However, I guess there supposed to be the price difference for big and small bags. I had to pay the same amount as big suitcases although I have only one small suitcase. In other places in Japan, we use the deposit counter and we pay based on the size of our bags .
- Felix (10/5): Fantastic, the gold standard for a guest house. - Amazing staff, comfortable bed, good location.
- Chanyoung (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Avisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hudáková (7/5): Pleasant stay, met it’s purpose. - The location is amazing! It was quite cramped.
- Aizzul (9/5): Superb -
- Arden (5/5): Mid - Clean Was way too hot to sleep. The entrance was confusing as hell.
- Shiddique (8/5): Very good -
- Katrin (8/5): Good for a short stay - Great location, quiet neighborhood, easy check in. The „lounge“ is the staff’s office, so you can sit on the couch, eat your food with two desks / working people next to you. With that being said, the guest house has no proper area to hang out / have phone calls etc.
- Hang (7/5): Good - Was ok, good value for a few nights being solo but the rules were very strict with checking in a bit early or checking out late, instead of a flat fee, there’s a charge of ¥300 for everything, from storing luggage early or later to renting towel etc.
- Marc (8/5): Very good -
- Chanvipa (5/5): Passable - You need to buy everything. No free towels or toiletries.
- Joss (8/5): Very good -
- Prakaimas (9/5): Superb - Everything it’s more than second time i choose to stay here It’s a summer but air conditioned still hot🥺
- Ma. (10/5): Exceptional -
- Muhamad (8/5): Very good -
- Hyewon (9/5): Superb - Close to the station, friendly and quick staff response
- Rebecca (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tamires (10/5): Very confortable and safe - Everything very clean and organised Nothing. All very good
- Harry (8/5): Very good -
- Kay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Norizzati (6/5): Every single items, you need to pay downstairs. - Toilet has good shampoo and soap and place to put your things. Near Tokyo Tower. For Muslims, if you get the corner bed, you can pray comfortably. Limited facilities. Every single things need to be paid. No towel too, drinking water, toothbrush and paste, etc. Just giving bed alone. Not 24hours reception too.
- Mei (6/5): Pleasant - It’s near metro stop and Tokyo Tower. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bathroom and toilet are located inside the dormitory which it’s quite noisy.
- Matthew (7/5): Good -
- Raul (8/5): Very good -
- Lin (7/5): Good -
- Samantha (7/5): Not that comfortable. - Having Tokyo tower so close was great! And metro station nearby as well. The bathrooms and sinks are in the room with the rest of the guests, makes it uncomfortable to use. The beds tends to get hot because of the materials, and it’s hard to get into the upper bed, the ladder is too thin. The lockers only fit a carry-on language. The password on the elevator is hard to function. Everything has an extra cost: towels, toothbrushes, while in other hotels are free. The lounge area is too small too.
- Yin (7/5): Good -
- Spencer (7/5): Good -
- Toka (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great , near the station and they laundry so perfect for me
- Merse (7/5): Ideal place for short stay in Tokyo. Very close to Tokyo Tower! -
- Thawat (5/5): Passable -
- Sew (9/5): Superb -
- Pal (8/5): Very good -
- Maiia (9/5): Superb - Location, clean
Big room, but the beds are placed so that no one gets in the way I stayed for 7 nights, usually after 3 days the bed linen is changed, here you had to ask yourself and pay extra and change it yourself
- Márcio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Asia (9/5): 100% would book again. Better than expected. Everyone was very respectful and quiet -
- Masud (8/5): Very good -
- Ryan (7/5): Great location and adequate accommodation. - The location is amazing. Everything worked and was clean. It was a bit too warm in the sleeping room and fans were the only solution. I wish i had had one.
- Kitty (7/5): Good -
- Alba (10/5): It was good value for the money - Location. The staff was not the nicest....
Showers were not very clean.
- Mariko (5/5): Overall “okay” accommodation since I was able to climb up and down the ladder without a problem. If you are on heavy sid - Good security.
Cleanliness.
Friendliness of the staff.
Location Scrolling partitions of the bed area makes too much noise. It was hard to sleep at night. I used the ear plugs for the reason, but overslept since I could not hear my alarm went on.
- Warittha (8/5): Very good -
- Yee (8/5): Great location, great value for money! - The location is super convenient as is just a 5 mins walking distance, and there's a family mart right beside the station. You can easily grab your food & drinks and head back to the guest house. I booked for 10 nights and is great that I don't have to check in & out in daily basis.
There's small park and is so pretty when the sakura is blooming. You can easily see Tokyo Tower and the night lights from the park. Bathroom is abit small.
- May (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cathy (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient location near the metro station, clean and comfortable. I really cannot thank and praise the staff enough (specifically Miki!) for being so accommodating; I had accidentally left two precious rings behind and they communicated with me and shipped it all the way to Australia for me whilst being extremely friendly. Thank you so much!!
- Katie (9/5): Superb -
- Kelly (10/5): Clean space, great location and good value. - Hostel’s location is a stone throw away from the subway station and the station is one that is easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go.
The the futon mattress was very good. Capsule was clean and comfortable. Slept very well.
For what we paid for one night, it was good value. The pillow is a little less comfortable for me but my son thought it was good for him.
Spotted an ant on my mattress coming from the ground (I was on the ground capsule)… wasn’t a big deal but not sure if it points to something…
- Mandie (8/5): Very good - The location was very good, very near to a subway station. The bed was comfortable, and had own sockets and light. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was nice to have use of a lounge, and to be able to cook there and use fridge.
- Celine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (7/5): Good -
- Kristen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Straite (6/5): - The hotel has many good things and many bad. The building has a very nice entrance, but instead they had you enter though the garage. The reception office was a dirty closet with a laptop. The showers had mold and were very, very small. The toilet areas were so small that using them was very difficult. And the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Having all that said, the actual cubicle seemed clean and had working USB charging ports and ac outlets with a nice shelf. The location of the facility was fantastic. Very close to the Tokyo Tower and the subway. Lots of parking nearby. The staff was kind but there is no one to help you if you need something after hours. I would not stay here again because there are so many other choices in the area.
- Laura (8/5): Very good - The price is really good for Tokyo, there is a separate dorm for women and men. Perfectly fine for one night. The blanket was a little thin for the Tokyo's cold weather. Because of the low costs everything costs extra, for example towel rent, leaving luggages.
- Bart (10/5): Exactly what we needed for a short stay. - The reception lady was very helpful. The lounge area was nice to hang out in. Close to the station so we didnt have to go far with our luggage.
- Jonas (9/5): Superb -
- Marie-lee (8/5): Very good -
- Annalise (8/5): Very good - Right near the station which is very handy getting around Tokyo. You have to pay 3,000 yen to leave your bags there once you check out.
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Afrina (8/5): Very good -
- Patricia (5/5): If it is a short stay, yes; if it is a long stay, no. - I liked the cleanliness and that it is close to a Family Mart and the subway. The room can accommodate 20 people not 4 as the photos. It's very noisy, even though there are signs indicating bathroom usage times; people do whatever they want. There are the light on 24 hours a day which makes difficult to sleep and it is not sostenible. The Wi-Fi is poor. Lockers are very small. They charge for early check-in, and then we had to wait 20 minutes to enter.
- Ten_p (8/5): Typical Japanese Dorm, Less than 5 minute Walk from Akabanebashi Subway Station - Typical capsule style bunkbed dorm in Japan. Good location, about a 3 min walk from the closest station, Akabanebashi. Allowing for self check-in is always a plus. Privacy curtains have significant gaps that allow light in and people passing by your bed could definitely see you. Lounge closes at 10PM so there's nowhere for eating after such hours. Lounge is also pretty small, could fit 5 people at max if eating. Showers get busy an hour before check-out time. There's 3 of em for my floor and 1 is exclusively for females, floor could accomodate maybe around 20 people max.
- Sze (4/5): Disappointing - Super crowded, no washing machines, noisy.
- Daniel (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, very close to Tokyo Tower. The nearby metro station isn't too well connected (you'll have to take transfers to get pretty much anywhere) but it is very close at least.
The bed was comfortable and clean! The temperature was appropriate - not too cold even in Winter. The bathrooms were also clean and we'll equipped.
It was very quiet and I had no issues whatsoever with any of the other guests or outside noise. Also, there is no curfew.
A solid place to stay the night. Nothing less and nothing more. My locker didn't work so I had to wait quite a bit while a worker was trying to fix it, ultimately gave up and we agreed to keep my luggage at the reception. Which was honestly fine with me. However, when I went to pick it up, it seems the worker had not informed any of the colleagues where my luggage was stored, or that it was stored at the reception at all. So it took a while to find it, though luckily, we did ultimately.
That's just a minor inconvenience - but it's one of many small points that just made the stay not very enjoyable.
The atmosphere was rather depressing, not welcoming.
You can't eat inside the dorms (which is reasonable) but the lounge closes at 22 so after that you don't really have any place to eat at all.
Again, minor inconveniences which can totally be overlooked for a budget stay, but they just all come together to make it not the most pleasant stay. And it's not exactly dirt cheap either.
- Bianca (10/5): My stay was amazing and everything went pretty smoothly - I stayed in the guesthouse from February 4th until the 22nd and I can confidently say that it's been the best place that I've been so far! All of the staff are super kind, gentle and willing to help, the place is well cleaned and very quiet and the localization is amazing, very close to the subway station and the Tokyo Tower.
I literally can't think of any cons about staying here, i'm definitely coming back again! I don't have any cons to say about it.
- Sonny (10/5): Exceptional - Good price / value balance. Perfect for one night stay. It does not really have a place to get ready.
- Misheel (8/5): Very good -
- Dale (7/5): Exactly what you’d expect for a budget hotel, comfy enough and a good location for 3 nights - Location Storage, this was only due to having a ski bag with me though 😬
- Akala (5/5): Passable -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (7/5): Decent place to stay for value - I liked the lockers for my articles Some guests were very loud at night and in the morning…
- Joselyn (9/5): Superb -
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (10/5): Great experience for 1st time in Tokio. I will be back. - Friendly staff manage by all ladies. Convincente beds with everything you need. Very clean showers. Too many rules to learn in such a short period.
- Sammy (7/5): Good -
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Yip (7/5): Great location, clean facilities but unresponsive staff. - Very close to the station as listed. The staff gave very clear information for self check in after 9PM. While the rooms are cramped with beds, each individual cubby felt segregated enough for privacy. The lockers provided are spacious and deep enough, even if they are a bit short. While the staff did give clear and concise instructions for self check in, they were completely radio silent regarding other matters. In the latest message I got at 4-5PM, it was instructed to order an amenity kit (to be placed on your bed) by 9PM. I placed an order around 6:45PM, but I didn’t get any response and no amenity kit appeared. I contacted them the next day but they didn’t reply my messages at all.
- Brittani (9/5): Great place for the value - I liked how quiet it was despite so many people staying there. The manager was also very kind and friendly. I felt comfortable staying there. I didn't like how loud I seemed during the night if I had to use the bathroom. Haha it's more me being clumsy
- Sumeet (9/5): Would happily stay here again. - Good location, close to some cool activities such as Tokyo Tower and Teamlab. Not a major shopping area but very close to train station. Accom was nice and clean, sleep capsules felt a bit small but still very comfortable, lockers also provided to keep your belongings secure, they’re reasonably big so easily fit a whole suitcase.
- Ibrahim (9/5): Superb -
- Tess (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannani (10/5): Exceptional - Best place to stay. Very clean & comfort. Friendly staff.
- Tomasz (7/5): Good base for exploring Tokyo on the budget - Good location, cleanliness, great facilities, quite comfy beds made like capsules. The lounge (with the kitchen) is open only from 10 am to 10 pm, so if you want to start the day with a budget self mad breakfast, you either have to waste half of the morning or opt for some buns in the nearby Family Mart.
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Enkhtuvshin (7/5): Good -
- Ling-li (4/5): Location and cleaniness are great. The attitude of people there aren’t so great. - The location and clean. The attitude of the people working there. I understand this is a low cost guest house. But whenever we ask for any needs, their attitude are defensive. It was winter time yet they use the same cover as one would use for summer time. Obviously during sleep one cannot go ask for an extra blanket during non-working hour, so my auntie grab one from empty bed. Next day they left us a paper saying we need to pay. Which is also fun but their attitude was bad. Made it sound like we stole the blanket without asking.
- Bee (7/5): Good -
- Елизавета (10/5): Nice place - Clean rooms, friendly staff Everything was ok
- Maia (6/5): Pleasant -
