- Michelle (10/5): A truly relaxing and welcoming stay, with thoughtful touches, delicious food and great location. - We had a wonderful last‑minute stay at Daisybank Cottage. It’s just a short 10‑minute walk from the train station and very easy to find. The rooms are lovely, with so many thoughtful welcome touches — shortbread, a hot water bottle, coffee, tea, water and milk in the fridge and lovely toiletries, fluffy white towels, gowns and slippers to name a few! Breakfast is ordered the night before and can be delivered to your room or enjoyed in the breakfast area; we tried both and loved them. The food was absolutely delicious. There are plenty of walks in the surrounding area, and the hosts are more than happy to provide information and recommendations on local routes and places to visit. It was a truly peaceful and relaxing stay, and the hosts’ passion for their home is clear in every detail. We will absolutely return in the future. Was all fabulous :)

- Olga (9/5): Very English place to stay when visiting New Forest - This high-end B&B is located right outside the village, and is perfect if you explore New Forest. Hosts are very friendly, ready to go extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. There are slippers (which is great as the floors are ice cold) and robes. Heating is off in the middle of the night in winter with no option to regulate room temperature. So if you are an early bird, you get up in a very cold room. Also got told to keep it quiet if wanted to go out to watch sunrise as “ not everyone likes sunrises” (in all my extensive travel across the world, staying at various hotels and B&bs not once had I been told that).

You tick off what you want for breakfast the following day and you can either eat it in the breakfast room or (if you’re lazy like us!) they bring it to you and you can have breakfast in bed. The food was piping hot and delicious - you HAVE to have the blueberry pancakes! The location was excellent - less than a 10 minute walk to loads of gorgeous trails. An added extra? You just might see donkeys grazing on the pavement outside. Would absolutely stay again!

So many little touches everywhere to make your stay that bit more comfortable and homely - hot water bottle, fresh milk, tea pot and saucers in room, extra blankets, guide books umbrellas etc. Breakfast was delicious and the hostess was so friendly and helpful and nice to our kids, would definitely come again Can’t think of anything

Bedding and bed was excellent and the room smelt gorgeous. Daisybank is close to the village centre and easily walkable. Breakfast in our room was a real treat too. Nothing really but if pushed….maybe some bath salts for the beautiful bath.

Good parking as well. The room was very nice and all bases covered with every amenity you could want. Lot of nice touches with the level of detail involved. No issues at all, we had an amazing stay.

The bed was super comfy, fluffy towels, fridge with fresh milk for tea/ coffee maker. Breakfast was delicious and if a high quality. Everything is done with care & attention to detail. Would definitely recommend. The room & compact ensuite was adequate for us but a little small if you were staying for a long time.

- Julia (10/5): Amazing B&B situated in our favourite New Forest town - The bed was ridiculously comfortable! The room was really well appointed, everything you could need was there. I forgot my charger plug (had the lead) and the socket next to the bed had a USB 'A' and 'C' type so there were no dramas with my phone. In the bathroom there were plenty of towels; shower was excellent and hot. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The option to eat in the dining room or have it delivered to your room was much appreciated. Genuinely nothing. It was all great.

Breakfast served in our room was perfect, sadly the rain denied us the opportunity to eat outside in our private garden. Plates piping hot and scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, delicious. The coffee machine and the range of delightful teas provided in the room were a bonus. Fabulous location, we met three white horses and a foal in the road as we left the property. We definitely recommend a stay here.

There were lots of little touches in the room like nail files , very thick plush towels a proper coffee machine with really nice coffee, earplugs which I’ve never had in any accommodation I’ve stayed at! The garden was lovely with many beautiful plants and lovely olive trees. Cieren One of the owners even went out of his way to get us some sun lounges so that we could chill in the Sun for a bit.😎 There wasn’t anything we didn’t like

- Padfield (10/5): Exceptional - Our room with a kitchenette, table and chairs, sofa, ensuite bath / shower, private garden area with patio, table and chairs has been perfect. I couldn't have wished for it to have been any better. The super King sized bed was extremely comfortable and I am leaving here feeling I have had an amazing couple of days away. The breakfasts are delicious and certainly don't go hungry and the staff are very kind and helpful. I thoroughly recommend staying here and would love to come back. It is in the perfect location for exploring the New Forest and my daughter and I really enjoyed a 10 mile circuit route, with a stop for lunch in a pub, about half way round. All in all we have had the best time, I couldn't of wished for more. Thank you so much. There wasn't anything I didn't like about our stay, it has been brilliant

- A (8/5): Very comfortable stay, although price is toppy. - Professionally run, room linen/ facilities are of a luxury standard, breakfast high quality, staff helpful. The price point is simply too high for this to be a default option for us. We have booked a well rated alternative for an upcoming event on price. For 2 rooms/ 4 pax, the alternate is better located for Brockenhurst Station and, although undoubtedly fewer luxury touches, is £400 cheaper. Accommodation plays out much, much better than first impression when approaching the property - I assume the exterior was part way through redecoration when we visited.

The rooms were large, comfortable and had lots of good quality local products and toiletries. The breakfast room was very welcoming and cosy. It really met all our needs. The bathroom had both a bath and shower which made it suitable for my elderly mother. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. We all loved it. It was fresh, wholesome and delicious. The extra bed in the superior room was not as comfortable as the large beds. There could have been a garden to sit.

The room was very comfy, clean and we had everything we needed from bathrobes, to sleepers, coffeee/tea making . We also had a little gift for our little one, an explorers pack with a pack, colouring set and stickers.

It was our first time visiting the New Forest and, I have to say, we were both enthusiastic: it's the perfect place where to relax and explore the stunning surroundings. The cottage is located not too far from the train station and the room (Daisy Suite) was absolutely beautiful: quiet and clean, perfect in every detail! The delicious breakfast was hand delivered to us at a timing of our choosing with a variety of options to choose from. Thanks again for the lovely hospitality!

The room was a great size with lots of nice touches - home baked cookies, selection of specialty teas, coffee maker, dressing gowns, and slippers, to name a few. I was greeted by one of the owners, Carian, who welcomed me and showed me around, then offered suggestions for exploring the area, as well as dining options. A big, comfortable bed with exquisite linen offered a wonderful nights sleep. After unexpected snow, the owners offered to clear my windows so I could head off safely. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
