Guest Reviews
- Thomas (7/5): Very pleasent work trip. - Breakfast was good and plentiful. The rooms were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were perhaps a little tired but i was perfectly happy.
- Tim (8/5): -
- Michael (3/5): Poor - Very little The photo on the web site had no resemblance to reality so much so that I went on to check I had the right location
- Liam (8/5): A nice overnight stay - A pleasant place to stay. Having an Indian restaurant in the hotel made for something different for dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- Andrew (8/5): Great overnight - Great value bistro food and friendly staff Nothing
- Michael (8/5): Excellant will stay again - Comfortable beds, great shower facilitys.
- Lidia (9/5): Relajada y tranquila - La chica de recepción muy agradable, mucho parking. Fácil de encontrar. Las instalaciones necesitas algunos arreglos pero me pareció que estaban en ello.
- Hartley (3/5): Terrible. Not what your expecting at all. This is the "cat fish hotel" - Nothing Cold rooms with old sash windows where the noise and breeze come through. Although the bed was comfortable it was hard to get a good night's sleep. Could hear the guy below me snoring over the tv. Pre cooked sausages and bacon where cold. Lack of towels in the rooms. Only 1 member of staff on at a time. In the evening the male receptionist could not understand English. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Bare rundown and apparently been under refurb for over two years. I have officially nicked named thus hotel "The Cat Fish Hotel". And for your info these pictures are all from the predecessor. The hotel is now owned by Saram. I believe this to be an Indian company as it serves Indian food and includes Indian staff.

- Stephen (9/5): Good value for money lots of safe places for parking 🅿️🚙 - Very friendly staff great location 👌 Everything was very positive
- Maria (7/5): -
- Nicholas (8/5): - Spacious room nicely decorated. Indian restaurant on site. Fire alarm went off and staff very late in appearing.
- Curtis (6/5): Very pleasant - Perfect location The radiator in my room was set to full and had a broken control, so was unable to turn it down. I arrived late and didn’t want to bother reception so had to sleep with the window fully open.

- karen (7/5): - Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful . They were the stars of this place, that outshone the building by miles. They were an absolute delight, a credit to the establishment. The place was nothing like the pictures. It was tired looking and while attempts had been to refurbish, they were only cosmetic. My bathroom had wires sticking out the wall, large paint splatters on the mismatched wardrobe, scuffed and chipped radiator. The walls were very thin, so I could doors slamming and talking late into the night.
The exterior was in poor condition made worse by the red light along the top of the entrance, this was not fitting of what could potentially be a beautiful place.

- Virgintraveller (8/5): Met with Friends and Celebrated a birthday by enjoying the music event - we stayed over after we met with friends and enjoyed the music evening. The room was lovely couldn't believe the size of the bathroom! although the building is old the decor and facilities were really good. Could I have got somewhere cheaper of course I could but this fit the bill beautifully I thought the 'snacks' at the music event were on the pricey side given they were only Burgers, Pizza chips etc. and could only pay by card but they were tasty nonetheless
- John (3/5): -
- Mark (7/5): A decent hotel for a cheap stay in central Droitwich - Reasonably priced, good location and clean room Property was pretty tired in terms of decor.
- Alisha (9/5): -
- Fazackerley (7/5): Enjoyable, but has its difficulties. - Location to town. Staff were great. Breakfast and lunch were very nice. The walls are so thin. Trying to get a 2 year old to sleep is almost impossible. You can hear pipes, people snoring and every step taken.
- Adam (2/5): -
- Tim (10/5): 10/10. Staff, location and experience was brilliant. We even got a free room upgrade. Thanks for having us ! - Beautiful room and fantastic staff Amazing large room, comfy bed and beautiful bathroom
- lucy (7/5): - The staff were very helpful, cheerful and kind The radiator in my room could not be turned down, despite the member of staff trying a couple of times. This made the room uncomfortably hot all night.
Everything else was great!
- Linda (10/5): Lovely hotel - The hotel was 10 minutes walking time from the hospital where I had an early appointment. The girls were lovely and offered to find me a ground floor room if I had problems with the stairs. We ate in the bistro restaurant which was very nice and avoided us having to go further to eat. I left before breakfast. The hotel was in the old style but the price and location suited us. Nothing.
- Tremelling (8/5): - It was a bed for the night. Small single room.
- Errol (10/5): Better each time - I have stayed in this hotel 4 times over a period of years. Tha hotel gets better each time. There is always something new that has been done to better the hotel in general.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Will stay here again.
- Matthew (8/5): -
- rebeccafP6224VP (6/5): Dissapointing, would not stay again. - Photos shown are NOT what this building looks like. The photos show a beautiful building with vines and shrubbery, we were greeted with a very cold and bare exterior which was not what we were expecting, very misleading! Reception staff friendly and informative on arrival. Rooms are standard, nothing special. Very loud, we travelled with our baby and getting her to sleep was a struggle as you can hear everything, banging doors, showers, toilets flushing even people's conversations, the walls are that thin! Also no blinds, so can be quite light in the room if trying to get the baby to sleep earlier in the evening as the curtains do not cover the whole window. Breakfast the first 2 days was lovely but on the Sunday breakfast was cold! Staff are friendly but you do have to ask for everything, at one point we had no room at our table as the dishes were piling up from the breakfast buffet, the staff just stood there! The Indian food was beautiful, would definitely recommend it to anyone! Location is perfect, very close to town. Overall, I wouldnt choose to stay here again, but I would come back for the Indian food!
- sarahdM5289MF (10/5): Health Treatment - Only booked a full body massage and afternoon tea the staff couldn’t do enough for me ! Tasha my beauty Therapist did the most amazing massage , Using the best techniques I’ve ever had . I fell asleep all afternoon ! I have been so stressed lately with a particularly difficult time in my life .

- Sarah (4/5): - We have stayed at St Andrew's many times in recent years particular for its convenient location. Arrival day was a particularly warm and sunny one so we found our south facing Room 14 very hot and uncomfortable.
Next day we returned early evening to find that the room had not been serviced as is usual at St Andrew's. Room was as we left it so very disappointing and drinks and biscuit supplies had not been replenished. Now thinking about finding other accommodation in the area for the next visit.
- Adam (8/5): - Everything Nothing
- Dawn (9/5): -
- Gillian (5/5): Quite disappointed and worried about being asked to leave my card details even though the room have been paid for - Location good Very tired and in need of some tlc. The room was far too warm and the shower water was just warm rather than hot
- Middleton (7/5): - Very good value for money There was a large function on and noise until very late was problematic.
- Phil Rich (9/5): -
- Kathryn (10/5): Perfect stay away from home - It was welcoming warm and the staff were helpful and friendly l would defo stay again and recommend to anyone excellent service all round Nothing
- Craig (8/5): - Location staff were very good
- Marc (8/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Chetan (1/5): Bad Version of Faulty Towers - Nothing Bed really uncomfortable had to result to sleeping on the floor.
Shower was broken.
Cobwebs on ceiling.
- Abdel (9/5): -
- Sarah (6/5): - Convenient location, great parking, excellent staff. Room was cool with a towel blocking a gap in the bathroom window.
I had one breakfast, intending to have more. While it was generous, it was barely lukewarm so I changed my breakfast plans for my stay.
- Rob (4/5): -
- AK Whitehouse (10/5): -
- Tony (7/5): Good value for money and friendly staff - Good location and friendly staff Room was on ground floor unfortunately could hear everything above us so didn’t sleep very well
- Margaret (7/5): - Comfy bed.
Indian restaurant served really amazing food. .
Helpful staff Kept having to ask for the door access card to be reset. Nobody mentioned keeping it away from my phone until about the 3rd time. I think it was reset 5 times.
The buffet breakfast was basically cold. The sausages and beans were barely even lukewarm, and the coffee was really weak.
Staircase was not hoovered on the 3 days we stayed.
Only one coat hanger in the wardrobe. No hooks on any door to hang up coat or dressing gown.
- kevin (8/5): Good value , with breakfast - Excellent Indian Restaurant on site
- Victoria (5/5): Basic but convenient - The staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was convenient to have 2 restaurants on site One of our rooms had the heating stuck on full all night and one of the TV’s didn’t work.
The food was quite average.
- Vaughan (10/5): -
- MW_foodie42 (10/5): The most amazing facial - Visited here on a Monday afternoon with my friend we shared the afternoon tea, which was absolutely lovely. Sandwiches were fresh and cakes were nice, but the best bit was the facial by Tasha! She was brilliant, as this was my first she talked me through the process and the room was relaxing, she took her time and it was a really relaxing experience. I’d happily go back, thank you to the team and especially Tasha for a lovely time! We will be back
- Stephen (8/5): Very good overall - I will stay there again - The room is very comfortable and so is the bed. Nice bathroom and shower, plenty of hot water.
Breakfast is excellent. Can't fault the hotel or the staff, however it was a shame the restuarant wasn't open on the evening I arrived. However the staff directed me to a pubic house 400 yards away.
- Carol shotter (8/5): - Friendly hotel ,good staff . Good location Room was cold on arrival but soon resolved .
- MARK (4/5): - Sizzling Indian restaurant Room, bathroom, cleanliness - state of walls - damp - stains, needs a fair bit of tlc
- Justin (7/5): -
- annmX7806PC (10/5): Lovely time at Mothers 90th family buffet. - We held my Mothers 90th birthday celebrations here and a lovely buffet was presented for us. Plenty of food and we all enjoyed a family get together. Room booked for the day so no pressure to leave.
Temperature warm which was good for the mature members.
Several of us stayed the night and rooms were comfortable and a great breakfast.
Thankyou St Andrew's 🙂
- Sarah (10/5): -
- David (4/5): Disappointing stay. - Warm room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Broken radiator in bathroom. Unable to safely access shower as no bath mat and no hand rail. No where in bathroom to hang clothes.
Both windows old sash single glazed, 1 not possible to secure.
No coat hook on door, only 1 clothes hanger.
- Lucian (10/5): -
- Lucian (10/5): -
- Terry (7/5): Satisfactory - Location and availability of required rooms Extremely noisy on Friday 21st due to wedding that disrupted sleep and continued into the mor with young people rushing around the hotel and banging on doors
- Gary (10/5): - Lovely stay. Staff are great and good to see they continue to improve the hotel.
Food was fantastic
- Malloola191 (10/5): Great experience - Lovely food and friendly service and staff 👌 😀
- Daniel (2/5): - Stains and dirty marks all over the bedroom and bathroom walls. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling were it hasn’t been cleaned for so long. Mattress felt like it had a big split down the middle of it. Noisy other guests.
- Christian (7/5): -
- Abdel (10/5): -
- Georgi (10/5): -
- sandrarF9651IX (10/5): Family celebration - Amazing food.had the Sunday night indian buffet.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Overall a lovely evening.
🍻🥳🎂😋
- Susan (8/5): - Staff were very helpful Having to pay a deposit just in if brakeages which I understand. But on going into the bathroom the towel rack was broken I reported it to reception as we didn't want to be blamed for the damage. However they sorted it out for us. They say they check the rooms after everyone checks out obviously they didn't with our room and we could have been blamed it we hadn't reported it
- Alpha (5/5): Overall, stay below expectations, issues with facilities and breakfast, although staff were helpful - The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. They arranged an alternative room for me after the facilities in the original room were not working. In the room I was initially allocated, the heater was not working and the shower was extremely hot. In the second room I was given, the heater was also not working properly.
Additionally, the accommodation was not very clean, with visible dirty stains in parts of the room and the toilet. Breakfast was also not ready in the morning, and I had to leave for work without having proper breakfast.
- Ben (6/5): -
- Jonathan (8/5): Solo break - It was easy to get to, very tidy and the staff were so friendly. Bar was quiet and breakfast was good. Shower was not amazing but hot so okay.
- Debby (5/5): It was clean but porr quality food. - Two colleagues on duty were pleasant.
Bed comfortable however pillows flat and very chea
Good shower power Food poor. Seemed cheap and frozen. Very disappointed
Wine very expensive for poor quality.
Gave feedback to member of staff. Said sorry but no further action.
Poor lighting in bedroom for putting on make up. Extra lighting on dressing table would be useful
Tea was also poor qu
- Liveley (6/5): -
- Michael (2/5): - The Staff were extremely nice and well mannered I'm sorry to say that our room absolutely terrible, the walls had scuff marks on the, this was a minor problem, main issues were that the shower had a major leak which lead to a pressure problem with the shower, meaning the shower was unpleasurable to use. the radiator in the bedroom was on full but the controls to turn it down were broke so had to have the window open at night, but then it would get cold so was up and down all night turning the heating up and down so barely slept at all, the hole night was unbearable. the only one thing that the hotel had going well for it is the staff were very well mannered and nice, other that that I am really angry to think that I spent my hard earned money on sta
ying at St Andrews Hotel.
- Jonathan (10/5): -
- Jonathan (10/5): -
- Phil (2/5): Vastly overpriced for a tiny room with an uncomfortable bed. - The room was tiny and the bed was uncomfortable. There was no bath option, overall it was totally unlike the pictures advertised.
- Adekunle (8/5): - The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. There was availability of parking spaces near the apartment. Check-in and check-out processes were prompt. The apartment also features adequate lighting and modern facilities.
- mark (6/5): - Was a little cold in room. Also no nets, blinds or curtains were in the room.
- simt300 (10/5): Delightful location a short walk from the town centre and canal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable - Free car parking and internet.
Two restaurants: typical English and an Indian offering called the Saram sizzler. We tried the latter and it was excellent.
- Margaret (9/5): The staff were extremely helpful and friendly at all times, and we would like to come again. - Our room was lovely and big, and it was a long way from the events room, so we were not disturbed.
The staff on the reception desk and in the dining areas were extremely helpful and friendly - they couldn't have done any more to make us feel welcome.
The Indian restaurant was superb - we ate there twice.
Breakfast was great- lots to choose from, and the cooked breakfast was piping hot when it came. There is a notice in the bathroom saying if you hang your towel up, (which we did) that means you will use it again, but the staff still left a pair of fresh towels for us on the second day. We did not need these.
The windows were steamed up in the morning, but it seemed the cleaner did not wipe the windows and the damp sills as a matter of course.
I noticed a few cobwebs on the skirting board near the TV, and the (silver coloured) toilet roll holders and towel rails in the bathroom could do with a wipe.
- Nigel (8/5): Great value , good location, vomfortable - 6/10
Reasonable choice but no kippers !
Friendly staff.
Food presentation fair. Tomatoes were tinned Breakfast
- Kelsea (6/5): - Staff Old building and smelt a bit
- Eva (8/5): - El cedro de fuera Nada, por eso vuelvo
- Gordon (6/5): Quiet setting, decent room but not the best. - The Hotel was lovely however is currently under renovation which was not stated or advised at any point of our contact with them. The food is good and the breakfast in the morning was ok. The bed was very comfortable and our room was in the old part of the building which made it really quite quiet at night. There was no communication about the delay in the kitchen when we called ahead to book dinner. We had to wait an hour and 40 minutes for our dinner after a 7, 1/2 hour drive which was very frustrating. When we spoke to the manager she discounted the meal however it was still frustrating. The food was lovely when it arrived however not piping hot, the peas were cold and the fish was Luke warm at best. The breakfast in the morning was ok, there wasn't a large range of choices unfortunately. The "hot" food option was not hot, it was Luke warm in 2 containers however, if you ordered eggs and a hash brown these were made fresh which overall made it slightly better. The room was nice a clean however a leak in the bathroom, damp patch on the ceiling and lack of communication from staff put me off returning unfortunately.
- William (10/5): -
- Paul andrew (8/5): Nice - WiFi was only 3 MB in my room
- Michael (10/5): very good - very good value and clean rooms nice staff nothing
- Karen (7/5): It was comfortable and the staff were nice. - Breakfast was satisfactory although there's nothing like a freshly cooked meal rather than one which has been mainly been sitting in a warmer.
The bed was comfortable.
The room was a nice size. A valance on the bed would have hidden the grubby divan.
- Mark (9/5): Great 👍🏻 - The whole night was good value slept well Nothing
