Guest Reviews
- Nagel (10/5): Wonderful castle and guest rooms and gracious host! - Breakfast was excellent!
- Rachael (8/5): The room was nice in a very old chateau -
- Helene (10/5): Excellent dining and very welcoming host. Transported in time in Castle bedroom.. - Peaceful setting in beautiful surroundings Stairs were tricky for people of advancing age
- Tania (10/5): Amazing - This was such an amazing experience staying in a Chateau from the 17th century. We had a beautiful picnic for dinner in the garden. Stephanie is so welcoming. A beautiful and memorable way to end our trip in France.
- Juliette (8/5): Wonderful night - would definitely recommend - Beautiful chateau with some wonderful renaissance wall paintings- really felt you were living there, very lovely family who own it- very hospitable , delicious dinner
- Christopher (10/5): It was like stepping back into history, we enjoyed the accommodation and the meal enormously. - It was full of history. It was impressive to not only visit but to stay in was a real privilege. There was nothing to dislike.
- Aurica (10/5): Great stay - Had an amazing stay in such an authentic place. It was truly a unique experience to stay in a castle during our trip to Loire valley. The room was beautiful decorated, clean and functional. The grounds amazing and the owners were very friendly.
- Carol Ann (8/5): Couple enjoying France - The hosts were so welcoming and gave us a lovely tour and made a lovely breakfast. We didn't have a hotel reservation so we had to venture out and found a restaurant in a nearby village however it was not great so plan ahead and make reservations as it was too late for proper choices of restaurant. It is well worth a visit and stay at this location. We would like to go again and bring oir doggies.
- Adriana (8/5): Back in history for a very quick moment - Lovely 17th century chateau. A real old chateau experience, with squeaky doors, old, original painted beam ceilings, uneven floors etc. Loved the rustic feel! Stephanie was a wonderful host and cooked a lovely meal for us. The property has a great swimming pool and various areas where one can relax. A walk in the forest with the owners dog, Kapla, was a treat! The breakfast was mostly carbs and although I LOVE croissants, I would have appreciated some fruits, maybe an egg etc. Great coffee though!
- Antony (8/5): Romantic getaway - Hosts were very helpful and friendly, very accommodating too.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful chateau! Big rooms, real feeling of traveling back in time. Nice owners with a passion for restoring the chateau
- Maria (10/5): - Amazing opportunity to experience a real Château in the Loire Valley. The place is run directly by the owners who have been restoring the château to its former glory. Great service. Great location if you want to visit other châteaux in the valley. They gave us a guided tour of the château and told us about its amazing history. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us great information about the dining and touristic options in the area.
- JoelandLisa (10/5): - Family of Americans visiting. The owner was great and the dinner was fantastic (2 adults and 2 daughters 10 and 13 years of age). Really enjoyed the tour and spending the night in the castle. Had a great visit.
- Terence (10/5): Unique experience - A very friendly welcome and amazing experience
