Only stayed for one night to break our travels but wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful beach. Breakfast was really good quality too. I will be back again. Breakfast was superb with a huge variety on offer. The room was large, the bed extremely comfortable and immaculately clean. Great huge shower and bath with views of the sea. Honesty box for drinks. Free afternoon snacks available and an all-inclusive mini bar in the room. The owner has thought of everything. Would highly recommend a stay here if visiting Wilderness. perhaps a little more privacy required regarding the toilet being in the bedroom itself, but not sure much can be done and once we got used to it, it was fine

Phantastische Frühstücksauswahl. Das von uns bewohnte Zimmer benötigt eigentlich ein paar Renovierungsarbeiten (z.B. verrostete Scharniere an der Terrassentür/Badezimmerspiegel)

Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit reichlich Auswahl. Insgesamt ist das Haus schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. In der Dusche kann man schon teilweise den Putz sehen. Der Pool ist sehr klein und war schmutzig. Terrassenmöbel nicht mehr die neusten. Preis war für die Leistung zu hoch.

Die Parkmöglichkeiten und die Lage gefielen uns sehr. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und schmeckte sehr gut. Die Ausstattung und Möglichkeiten des Guesthouses überraschten uns sehr positiv: direkter Zugang zum Strand, schöne Aussichtsmöglichkeiten aufs Meer, kleine Snacks nachmittags/abends inklusive, ein hervorragender Wein-, Spirituosen- und sonstige Getränkeschrank, was wir sehr gerne für einen abendlichen Absacker nutzten. Alles auf Vertrauensbasis - so schön, dass es so etwas noch gibt! Wir nutzten auch den Wäscheservice. Alles war sehr zu unserer Zufriedenheit... und seitdem lernten wir eine spezielle Art kennen, wie man Unterwäsche zusammenlegen kann. Seitdem lege ich sie zu Hause auch so zusammen. - Andrzej (10/5): it was our best stay on the Garden Route. - Dune Villa is a one of its kind place offering unmatched exposure to the seafront. You can both enjoy the view from a comfort of a lounge chair or access the beach with a few steps. Great breakfast options as well. We highly recommend Wilderness and Dune Villa specifically. We will be back for longer next time! I have no complaints.

Easy access to wide sandy beach to swim or walk for miles while the sun sets over the sea. Room was well appointed for every occasion and stocked with complementary drinks, fruit and snacks. Excellent, relaxed breakfast with something for every taste. Fruit, snacks and coffee machine available all day. Fabulous staff. James, the owner and host, is as hands-on and helpful as you get while Rochel tends to every need at breakfast.

- Alice (9/5): - Wir bekamen ein grosses, ebenerdiges Zimmer mit direktem Ausgang in den Garten. Leider war die grosse Balkon Türe etwas schwierig zu schliessen, da verzogen. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr gewählt ausgestattet und liess keine Wünsche offen. Vom Garten konnten man über eine Holztreppe direkt an den Strand. Da konnten wir wunderbar spazieren gehen. - Amanda (10/5): Exceeded all expectations and would 100% stay here again - EVERYTHING. This was one of the best properties I've ever stayed at in terms of how thoughtful every part of the stay was. Complimentary fruit and snacks, some drinks, lovely hosts, and beautiful views. We were greeted by the owners each day at the beautiful complimentary breakfast and you can just tell they care about their property and their guests. 10/10 would stay here again. The ONLY downside was location but it depends on what you want in a location. Not walkable to get into Wildnerness due to needing to cross a big highway but it was private and with not many rooms, very cozy and personal. If you're looking to be in the action, this isn't it but if you want a quiet, comfortable stay with ocean views and beach access, this is your place!

Good doctor in Wilderness- can book by WhatsApp- see photo The information pack in the room was woeful - out of date as well as sparse. Not as helpful with local info as other places we stayed (we did find a map of Wilderness on the bookshelf under the stairs). One night we needed something to eat but were told there’s nothing take-away in Wilderness with no options, but later discovered we could have ordered from uber eats. Tourist leaflets available in town were good.

- James (10/5): 10/10 - can't wait to return one day. - what a fantastic place - my girlfriend and i were gutted we had to leave. the location overlooking the beach was spectacular and the owner James had thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was also a 10/10 - will definitely be back. not applicable !

The view was breathtaking and location was perfect just short walk to the beach and 15-20 minutes to the town. The breakfast was delicious, and James was an incredibly hospitable host. The shower is not private as it’s inside the bedroom,which was a bit uncomfortable since I was sharing the room with a friend,Despite this I still recommend this place for its many positives
- Paolo (10/5): Exceptional - Great break from a busy work schedule to R&R ,despite the weather being on the cooler side. Room ,view and property were great. Sleepy wilderness was a pleasant change from busy work routine. Early morning walk on the wilderness beach front ,only a flight of stairs away, and returning to an exceptional breakfast will be missed. Wilderness is also well placed to access the rest of the garden route gems that are only a short drive away. The owner, James,was very friendly and accommodating. Would not hesitate in recommending this as a destination on the garden route.

- Sue (6/5): Fabulous view - The view is spectacular. The breakfast was excellent. Extra snacks and drinks in the room etc. The room we had was noisy due to its proximity to the breakfast room and we came back the first night to find it smelt badly of fish due to owners cooking! The room design is not good - the extra large shower is too big for the room. Plus it felt there was no where to put our cases or indeed our wash bag at the sink and it felt the least well thought room. We liked the separate loo which I think other rooms don’t have.

- Rahel (9/5): Awesome two days at the beach in beautiful wilderness - Great view at the beach, the suite very spacious and clean. A friendly owner James, awesome breakfast! The only thing I would recommend for improvement is to offer breakfast earlier than 8:30/9am as it might crash someone’s day trip plans.
- Gabriella (10/5): We could not recommend this B&B more. - James, the owner of the B&B is a very interesting, welcoming host. Breakfast was the most varied and uncomplicated of our entire holiday. Parking was easy, the bed was big and comfortable and the view was stunning. Its a shame we only stayed for one night.

- Rana (10/5): It was great!!! - Staying at the Dune villa Wilderness was the highlight of our holiday so far. A beautiful villa on the Ocean, with stunning views. Our room was spacious, very nicely decorated, with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. Access from the villa direct to the beach with wooden stairs James the owner is a lovely guy, hands on all the time , making sure all is in order. Breakfast had different varieties and very tasty. If we come again to this part of the world we will definitely stay here again. Nothing

- Bronwen (9/5): Great stay. Fabulous location. Good service. - Great location. Very friendly staff. Lovely inclusive nibbles and mini bar. Comfy bed. Although the room was lovely. We personally prefer an en-suite bathroom Rather than an open plan one but other than that it was great. We would still stay there again despite this.
