- Jessica (2/5): Never coming back ! - Nothing. We were only 2 or 3 guest at best and I was given the room right by reception -i could hear every conversation and every cars coming in. The only window i had in my bedroom was looking at reception so I had to close the blind if I didn't want people looking in my room -spent the entire time in my room in the dark! The place could be a nice hotel. Shame the restaurant is only open for breakfast and don't get me started on how milk in your tea or coffee is not part of the 'breakfast' deal!!! Overall, don't bother.

- Pamela (10/5): Relaxing boutique hotel with good food, nice rooms and beautiful pool. Would definitely go back :) - Staff is super friendly, accommodation is clean and has everything you need. Daily housekeeping, with snacks and water available in the room when you arrive. There's a large pool with comfortable pool beds to drink your daily dose of coconut. Besides, I liked the space to do yoga and there's enough lounge areas for drinks and food (the menu is nice for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Located just under Canggu, you're ten minute bike ride away from all the tourists. The Australian owners are lovely too (and so is their dog). Would 100% go back. I upgraded my room as I didn't fit under the shower. They were very helpful.

L’emplacement un peu reculé par rapport à Jalan Bumbak donc peu ou pas de nuisance sonores. La gentillesse du personnel comme toujours à Bali , et globalement un bon rapport qualité prix Toujours des défauts d’entretien des bâtiments, parfois ménage un peu approximatif et linge de toilettes souvent très usé

- Lori (10/5): I absolutely loved my stay at Bloomfield! Highly recommend! - I had the best experience at Bloomfield so much, I stayed 6 weeks! The staff are like family, are so friendly and always helpful with anything I needed especially finding my way around the area. The food was delicious with good portions and some organic options which I appreciated. The staff were also very attentive and accommodating with some food requests. The location is amazing, with such a great variety of restaurants within walking distance. Also it is in a quieter area tucked back away from the road, yet close enough and easy to find. The vibe is so peaceful and relaxing, one of the things I loved most and as a solo female traveler I felt completely safe. The hotel is a modern boutique style where the owners have given much attention and lovely personal touches to the decor . The rooms are welcoming, fresh, clean and bright. I loved my upstairs Deluxe Garden View! The rates are reasonable especially as low season approached and so worth it for the comfort, peace and location. I would easily choose Bloomfield again! I highly recommend it!

- Lieve (9/5): Heerlijk plekje voor rust maar nogsteeds dicht bij Canggu - Lekker zwembad, personeel bij restaurant super goed, mooie kamer met fijne badkamer, kamer had ook alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben met lekkere snacks etc. Ook locatie is niet in het drukke deel maar ook niet ver weg van het centrum, ook iets dichter bij seminyak. Geen redenen om niet te boeken maar wel feedback voor de accomodatie: - Hulp bij tillen van bagage naar de kamer zou een fijn stukje service zijn, evenals een welkomsdrankje. Deze kleine dingen geven een luxe gevoel zonder dat het veel kost. - De kieren bij de deuren moet echt gedicht worden. Hier zouden nu makkelijk ongedierte doorheen kunnen komen, geen prettig gevoel snachts, vooral naast de rijstvelden.

- Nani Errisa (5/5): Quiet and convenient area however rooms were poorly maintained especially the bathroom - Quiet location, friendly front desk. Our room (No.13) was poorly maintained. Bathroom was a bit run down and the bathroom door could not be closed properly - we had to lift the door up and slide it aggressively. The room was not very well lit / bright at night so getting ready was a bit inconvenient.

- Poppy (10/5): All the workers were so lovely. I honestly don’t have anything bad to say at all. Breakfast was great, especially the aç - The property was so pretty, pool looked and was lovely. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. We got a free upgrade which was amazing! Location was great The only thing would be how creaky the floorboard of the room we were staying in were. Some of the floorboards dipped and were not screwed in properly, probably just need to replace some of them.

It also has amazing barber shop “alessandro barber” within walking distance and an amazing massage shop Anne day spa just down the road. -

We had an issue with our water, which stopped working, however the staff were super fast in resolving this and it didn’t cause us any problems in the long run.

- Kristina (10/5): Returning guest - I always love to stay at Blomfield whenever I'm in Bali. The staff are lovely, the rooms are pretty, and it's tucked away from the bustling street. One thing that annoys me is that there are no proper switches for the lighting. You have to unplug the bedside lamps from the wall when you go to bed. The lighting in the rooms is generally very dim.

Enough breakfast served on bb basis. Great recommendation from staff to visit around places. We were here on rainy season and we had a chill time even staying in this site.
- Quinty (9/5): Great, relaxing stay! - The whole accomodation was beautifully decorated, everything almost had like an Ibiza type of feel. They had 2 pools, but only one “main” pool, the other one looks like it’s for decoration since nobody uses it. Beautiful rooms and an okay bathroom. The shower could use some work, seems a bit outdated and rusty. The staff was very friendly, helping us with everything we needed. The photos of the pool area are old, the view is blocked by construction unfortunately. So if you’re booking it for the views of the ricefield, look elsewhere. The location is a bit far from Canggu but with a motorbike it takes more or less 10 minutes to get here.

I guess that deluxe and king rooms should be much better. In general this hotel is pretty fine, but for more than one night you definitely should take more expensive room.
- Fuchsia (8/5): Beautiful Bloomfield - Loved the chilled atmosphere at Bloomfield Umalas, as a boutique hotel we were lucky enough to have facilities mostly to ourselves a lot of the time in the evenings. The outdoor terrace was picture perfect and there were plenty of beautiful spaces to relax. The rooms were spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful with all our inquiries. It was a great spot to spend our first week in Bali. The food - it wasn't as vegan friendly as it sounded on the listing, and the included breakfast wasn't great for either me (vegan) or my partner (not vegan), it didn't seem very fresh. The cafe next door does an amazing breakfast for less than the price at the hotel, I'd highly recommend going there instead. The walk is almost the same as to the breakfast area of the hotel. The music - the music was lovely in the shared spaces, but extended quite late into the night and started quite early in the morning. Not great for light sleepers, but didn't bother us too much.

The only thing I would mention as a feedback is the slide door from the rooms at the pool. It's not really practical and easy to open, close and lock. But that's all, everything else was perfect

- alexandre (10/5): - Petit hôtel très agréable, personnel sympathique et d’une grande gentillesse, nous avions une chambre (nr 8) avec vue piscine et transats juste devant la chambre. On s’est sentis comme à la maison durant 3 semaines, car la vue piscine est vraiment le bon choix à faire. Quelques rizières visibles depuis l’hotel et joli jardin arboré. Il est nécessaire d’avoir un scooter pour se déplacer mais il y a plusieurs restaurants de qualité autour de l’hôtel à prix abordables.
- Danielle (7/5): Lovely little hotel - I enjoyed my stay at Bloomfield. My room was clean, comfortable and I enjoyed having the use of a balcony. Due to the small size of the hotel, it’s quiet meaning that I rarely saw any other guests which added to the peace I was able to enjoy. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I had breakfast included within my stay and was pleased with various options on offer. The kitchen/bar is open all day, until 10pm and whilst I rarely ate in the hotel it was great to be able to grab a cocktail at the end of a busy day. The food that I did have was tasty, well portioned and well presented. I was concerned about the construction work that is occurring near the hotel, however was rarely disturbed by this. The view of the rice fields is obstructed massively by the building works, I appreciated the screen that had been put up by the hotel to try and disguise the construction site but didn’t find that the lack of view/building work impacted my stay at all. In all honesty, building work seems to be every where throughout this area at the moment so I travel to Bali with the acceptance that I’m likely to encounter this. Whilst the hotel was very clean, some of the textiles and furnishings are looking a little worse for wear. For example, the bean bags near the pool area have some splits in them, the cushions on the sun loungers are stained and the complimentary beach towels were often threadbare or generally tatty.
- Nahomie (8/5): I would stay here again. - I enjoyed my stay here at this villa. The room was spacious, comfortable bed, nice shower, friendly staff. The location is busy area but close to most popular areas. One concern I had was that the staff did not change my sheets during the room service my first couple nights. I had to remove the sheets off the bed myself and I decided to wait and watch them bring in new sheets during the rest of my stay.

Staffs and were friendly, nice and accommodating - hair dryers and clothing rack were provided upon request. Location might be hard to find for some riders/drivers despite good location. We had neighbours smoking the whole night and all we could smell was just that as it infiltrated our room.. More charging points please.

- Georgina (7/5): Clean and spacious - Clean and spacious. Loud air con unit and bathroom door faulty. Was expecting a garden facing room and told we were “ungraded”. Ended up on the second floor with no view.
- Nick (9/5): Few days in Canggu - We have been upgraded to one of the Villa in the back. Very nice and spacious room, comfy bed and good size bathroom. Bloomfield Umalas is 20 minutes (scooter) from the beach in a quieter area compared to Canggu. Careful when using Grab (the app) because there are many Bloomfield, make sure you choose the right location for drop off! (we were using “Kembali”, the coffee shop at the beginning of the road and had no problems) Construction works in front of the pool. Not sure if they are expanding the property or if it is a different building, but it ruins the view over the rice fields. The main road near by was busy, there were many coffee shops to choose from, but horrible to walk along the road since there was no side walk and the street was very narrow.

- Lilja (5/5): I won’t come back - It was in a good area and easy to get to the places I wanted to go The beds were horrible and that’s the main reason I would not go back. The staff forgot the charge me about 10 dollars for something and messaged me after I left asking me to transfer money to them. It costs about 10 dollars to transfer money from different countries sometimes. I know it’s not a lot of money. But I think it was pretty ridiculous to ask for 10 dollars that they forgot to put on the bill before I left.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great stay, but could be improved. - Bloomfield is a small boutique villa / hotel in Umalas that's close to some great cafes and food options and not too far from the hustle and bustle of Bali. The room was spacious and comfortable, minus the soundproofing. While other guests are respectable and mindful with their voices, there was a lot of construction in the area that started early morning everyday of my stay. The power went out one morning as well and basically everything was out, including water until noon. It's a great stay if you don't care to sleep in often and don't mind the occasional morning yoga sessions that can be quiet loud if your room is next to the practice room.

- Noam (5/5): Passable - Staff very friendly ,we had a room with balcony and after one night due to a noisy airco got an upgrade . Place is quite far, the first room was clean but looked tired and need a good maintenance. Foto's are misleading as the place do need renovation. For the price they ask..there are better options. Breakfast is ok, it's limited to eggs and coffee or tea or juice, if you with both ..you need to pay extra.
