• Helen (10/5): Convenient and everything was good. - I had a good sized room with everything I needed. I checked in late and left early for work. I awoke to see a lovely garden. Only the firm mattress but I think most people like that.

• Vince (10/5): Home from Home, cracking Breakfast - Our host Nigel was a cracking guy and very friendly. The room was clean and well appointed with furniture and a great size bathroom. The breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. We only stayed a night as we were visiting our daughter who is at Uni in Farnham. Will definitely stay again when visiting her. There is a lovely pub about 2 mins away that we had a great meal in. It was exactly what we look for when traveling. A home from home.

Very comfortable room, very clean and everything available. Very warm welcome, the host texted before arrival to tell us about Road works. Very helpful.

There is plenty of parking space and our upstairs room was spacious and nicely decorated. Good night’s sleep in a comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent - cereal, fruit, toast, jams and a very good full English cooked breakfast. We were disappointed by the shower as it was difficult to control the temperature. It kept going from stone cold to scalding hot and it was difficult to find a comfortable temperature in between. It also had low power so the water pressure was rather feeble.

• David (10/5): - We needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed. We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight. I called ahead of our stay to confirm this was OK and Nigel, the owner, was very accommodating. Marvellous 'Full English' for breakfast the following morning! We had a very enjoyable (if brief) stay and would thoroughly recommend Dawyk Beech.
• Clare (10/5): Great place for a convenient , clean and friendly stay - Very friendly owners. Room was very clean and perfect for what we needed for an over night stay. Attention to detail with things like number of mirrors, well stocked tea/coffee station and good number of plug sockets. These made our stay easier with 3 people sharing one room. Plenty of parking at the property and it’s well signed from the road. Overall a great stay. Would recommend and would stay again.

The host was welcoming and showed us everything we needed to know so it was seamless. The only issue we found was there were no hooks to hang clothes from or coats. But this is very minor indeed.

Would have liked more tomato and mushrooms to make up for not having the meat. Friendly and helpful host. Large room with excellent en-suite. Enjoyed the quality biscuits on the drinks tray. Internet connection was poor. Often no connection and when connected, often dropped out. Noise from the room above. Squeaky floorboards when they were walking and we could hear what was being said at times.

As before, when stayed, regular banging noise every several minutes when trying to sleep at night, sounding like chrome door handles banging against doors. Not a major problem. But, this time, woken up at 7 am by very loud ,non-stop laughter and chatting of other apparently regular guests in dining room for an hour before we were due to rise. Obviously not considering other guests in property.
