The staff throughout the hotel were professional and attentive, ensuring every aspect of our stay was seamless. A significant highlight of our trip was our Chauffeur, Mr. Harpreet Multani. He played a pivotal role in making our visit to Amritsar so memorable. Mr. Multani was not only professional and punctual but also incredibly knowledgeable. He showed us around the city with great care, offering local insights and ensuring we experienced the very best of what Amritsar has to offer. De dag na aankomst was het mijn 50ste verjaardag en dat had het lobby personeel goed opgemerkt want al van bij het ontbijt waren er kleine speciale detailattenties gevolgd in de late namiddag door een superlekkere taart gebracht naar onze kamer door een aantal zeer sympathieke medewerkers van het hotel Ligging ten aanzien van de Golden Temple ook heel goed, rustig gelegen wat in Indië geen evidentie is. Friendly reception staff Car park for taxi driver - I had a triple room for me and my kids but additional bed not set up so we all crammed into a double. Didn't sleep well. - poor breakfast choices. Ordered pancakes and got 1. My dads chole-pature were incredibly greasy. Cold parathas. No one to meet us and ask for our room details. A bit shambolic. - slow to respond to booking.com message but they insisted on the phone I bring visa paperwork which it turns out we didn't need. - no information at helpdesk about when the pool can be used or other facilities such as their restaurant.

- DEV (10/5): Overall, a truly memorable experience, great staff, service and location. - I stayed at the 'Fairfield by Marriott' for 7 nights and had a great experience. The staff hospitality was superb and from a personal perspective I would like to give a special mention for 'Harish' managing the front desk. Overall, a memorable experience and I look forward to coming back soon. Thank you to all the staff. Improvements can be made in a) the restaurant service efficiency, specifically in timely delivery of the 'omelette' - as this seemed to take a long time to reach the table b) maintenance and cleanliness of the swimming pool surrounding area and checking of towels supply is available.

- Bernadette (10/5): All good - Clean and comfortable. Room was small but had everything we needed. The location was fine, close to the station but a short drive from the Golden Temple. Great breakfast. The pool area was nice, but the pool itself needs a bit of work (broken tiles etc).

- Goswamy (10/5): Great stay and superb staff. - Great location if you're coming to visit the golden temple, very central! My only issue was getting locked out of my room as the battery of the door accepting my key had failed, the hotel was superb in placing me in another room and offered me refreshments as well. In the future would be great to have these locks serviced from time to time. I work in the hospitality industry so I could understand, however some guests might not!

- ganeshanp297 (10/5): Great experience at Marriot Amritsar - Had a wonderful stay at the Fairfield Marriott! The hospitality was exceptional—every staff member made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was delicious with a great variety, and the service throughout our stay was prompt and courteous. The housekeeping team kept everything spotless, adding to the comfort of our experience. Special thanks to Katyani from the front office for her warm assistance, Pooja from housekeeping for maintaining such high standards of cleanliness, and Harpreet Singh, our driver, for his professionalism and friendly nature. Truly impressed by the team’s dedication and care!

- sim_ice (8/5): Good stay but minor improvement required - Over all a super stay. Room was comfortable A few checks which which the team needs to look at: 1. Hand shower in the walk in showers - holder was loose and water was coming out from bottom of the hand shower. Though it required only to be tightened but this was not checked before giving the room. 2. Housekeeping team needs to be attentive- When cleaning the room, to check if the tea and coffee sachets need to be replenished or not. When we noticed this after coming back in the evening. It took more than 20 min for the team to send the sachets 3. Room key card- constant deactivation- During the 3 day stay both room key cards upon reaching the room did not function twice. Since, then we always stopped by the reception to have it checked. 4. Thank you to the reception team- we left behind a bag of mithai. Spontaneous action and timely delivery of the same. However, charges were exorbitant at Rs. 1300/-. Please have this rechecked. We shall be back soon for another stay

- kaur (9/5): Indian hospitality at its absolute best - We had a truly fabulous stay at Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar, and the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Even before we arrived, we received outstanding support from Poonam and Gursharan, who assisted us with travel arrangements for ourselves and additional guests joining us. Their efficiency, attention to detail, and willingness to help made everything seamless and stress-free. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a wonderfully warm welcome that immediately set the tone for our stay. From that point on, everything just kept getting better. The breakfast each morning was excellent, and the food throughout our stay was simply outstanding. A special thank you to the talented chefs, Gurmeet and Mohit, who went above and beyond to prepare delicious meals and even accommodated special requests with great care and skill. Many thanks for the beautiful cake that was specially made for us to mark the occasion of one our loved ones who are no longer with us❤️Their efforts truly made our dining experience memorable. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Rahul, who took exceptional care of our room, ensuring it was always clean, tidy, and well-stocked. His attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. This was Indian hospitality at its absolute best.

Minor things such as hand towels and bath towels were missed to be provided after room cleaning and had to be requested. They were provided immediately on request.

- Ute (7/5): - Das Frühstück war qualitativ sehr in Ordnung und auch ausreichend. Unser Zimmer war sauber und groß genug. Die Betten waren bequem. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool war sauber aber insgesamt nicht übermässig einladen´d.
