- Sarah (7/5): -
- Jim (9/5): - Clean and bed was comfortable
- Snell (7/5): - Nobody bothers you Room is really small
- Kristy (8/5): -
- Shirey (3/5): Not great. - Staff was friendly & courteous. Wasn't far from what I needed. Bed wasn't comfortable. Parking lot was horrible.
- Dean (9/5): Good affordable motel - Great spot to stay for those on a budget. Cozy room with everything you need and nothing you don't. JR was a great host.
- lovenia (7/5): i would stay here again - hist was very nice and directed me to several helpful destinations in the area:) wish the showerhead had a handheld feature, it is difficult for short people to take showers at the standard height ( water too far up to rinse hair properly)
- Dominick (10/5): -
- Stephanie (10/5): - The host was wonderful and very informative about the area. He made us feel welcomed and very comfortable. Nothing to complain about. Everything was great.
- Matt (9/5): Great stay in Tiona!! - The Inn keeper JR was a super nice dude. He schooled me on all the ins and outs of his motel and the surrounding area. The room had a ROKU tv with all of my apps on it which was outstanding. Nice selection of coffees also.
- WISAM (10/5): -
- Paul (9/5): -
- Hauenstein (10/5): -
- Pat (3/5): Unpleasant experience - Nothing. The location is extremely high traffic and traffic noise was terrible. The room is very small and too much furniture equals a high trip hazard. (Remove 1 of the end tables.) White sheets are preferable to colored ones in a hotel. I like to check the sheets out for bugs,
debris etc.
Price should include something for breakfast like a muffin. If I was a single women I would be concerned for my safet, creepy environment.Bar on the premises. Parking lot very dark.
- Jasper (10/5): - the owner is a very nice and friendly man and when we had a problem he cared deeply about the issue and resolved it promptly and apologetically. would come again and would reccomend it!
- Amy (6/5): - Very basic, but clean. Owner cares a lot about his place!
- Dawn (8/5): - Roadtrip to sight see. Motel is little outdated but price was reasonable for us to sleep as we were there to see the sights. Excellent communication with JR. He was an excellent host! He gave recommendations for places to eat and how to get where we were going. Only negative the noise at night from traffic. Recommend requesting a room in the rear of the motel.
- Frank (9/5): -
- Wanda (10/5): - I can't say enough good things about this place. Owner is the absolute best motel owner. Clean, Safe, and are anxious to make a return visit just for the cozy comfortable relaxing getaway.JR the owner is a fantastic host.
..
- Minto (8/5): Neat and clean. Ample parking space. Excellent place to pull over during long drives and no doubt about that - Clean Small size room
- Deborah (10/5): - It was the cutest pet friendly motel we ever stayed at. Loved it.
- Ricky (10/5): - Very friendly
- John (10/5): 👍👍 - WS a very interesting experience.
- Kenneth (6/5): - Room was very small but had everything you need (bed, fridge). Owner was very friendly and recommended an absolutely excellent restaurant (Table 105).
- M (10/5): -
- M (10/5): - The host, JR, is great.
- lyudmila (8/5): We would love to come again and enjoy this place when we are next time in the area. - We liked the location a lot. Also, JR helped us a lot with checking in and letting us know where everything was at the hotel and the attractions in the area. Our dog Max loved the place. He had a great time.
- Michael (8/5): - Close To Stateline Speedway, Cold Fridge, Clean Microwave, Good WiFi, Very Friendly Staff, Will Stay Here Again
- Diana (8/5): Well we had to end it 2 days early because I got hurt - Area To small
- Terry (8/5): - Overall this is a fine little motel. Only 2 small problems, one is the check-in procedure is expected to be done online or over a smart phone and this doesn't work for everyone. The other thing was there was a lot of traffic and sirens that interfered with sleep but this is no fault of the motel.
- charles d (8/5): - The walls need insulation to cut traffic noise.
- Kaitlin (10/5): - JR was very attentive and answered all advanced questions. A little gem of a stay in this area!
- Melisa (4/5): - Jr was a really good host and very helpful. It wasn't as clean as we would of liked and the water had a weird smell to it.
- Cora (10/5): - Personable sign-in, parking close, amenities, clean, comfortable.
- Christine (8/5): - Jr was a great host. Had the best night sleep here in quite a long time. Quiet and loved the Kuerig and the fact he had coffee and creamers available in the room. Nice flower garden outback. This isnt your luxery motel but adequate for an overnight stay. We would go back. The price is also good. Rooms are small. Not for a family of four or more but could get two rooms at the price you pay. Restaurant across from motel.
- Zach (8/5): Tell JR that Zach sent ya and says hello. - This is a quaint little road side motel. The owner operator is an amazing fellow.
- Susan (6/5): - Very old rooms. Smelled like smoke. Would not issue me a refund when I had to cut my stay short due to a family emergency
- JEFFREY (8/5): - The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
- Donald (9/5): -
- Laura (10/5): - One of the best motels I have ever stayed in, the host JR was amazing. He was so nice and helpful, greeted us as soon as we got there, gave us a tour, and told us where all the good restaurants and stores were located. It was a very safe and comfortable place to stay!
- Greta (10/5): - JR is hospitality plus! he brought water out to my cat which was very considerate. he has a great spiel re the area attractions... the room had everything I needed. loved the jewel tone linens, nice pick-me-up vibe.
- Jose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ed (3/5): Poor - Owner thought I needed to register online despite your confirmation. He had his own system so he did not have to interact with customers. He should not, he's not good at it. This is why you hire others. I will not be back. He was also full of unsolicited advice. It was a last resort and it felt like. Not much.
- Michael (10/5): A diamond in the mountains! - Everything! JR and Barbara are so awesome! They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable! If you’re anywhere near and looking for a room, this is the place to stay! Nothing! We had everything we needed and more!
- Merenick (9/5): Don't judge a book by its cover! - JR, the owner, was kind and accommodating. From the outside, I was a little nervous about our stay. On Saturday night, with limited options in the Warren area, it was affordable, clean, and comfortable. The room was small but cozy. We just needed to sleep. Room had tv, fridge with freezer to keep our ice packs frozen. Our Keurig had a wide variety of coffee choices, creamers, and sweetener choices.
We stayed at the Days Inn and Quality Inn in Warren and this room was cleaner than both of those hotels. It was quiet. Location
- Carol (10/5): - Doesn't look like much from the outside, But JR is the most accommodating owner ever, and the place is very clean on the inside. Beds are comfortable, Keurig coffee maker, Roku TV, microwave and fridge. Bathroom is bright and clean.
The main building has a bar and pool table (free pool) and it is the most unique woodlands theme ever! Must see! JR has good recommendations for dining and everything is 15-20 minutes away. Really enjoyed our stay.
- Jay (4/5): JR was a fantastic owner, however extremely disappointed at housekeeping. - JR was awesome. My wife called every single place I found on booking.com to figure out the pet policy, and the phone call certainly gives me the first impression. JR was extremely kind and friendly to my wife's question so I did not hesitate making a reservation.
The room - probably some people see it as small - was cozy to us, a little bit crowd but we stayed for one night and, JR again, offered a blanket for our dog. We stayed at 6 different places during our 11 days summer trip and JR was the only one offering the dog blanket. God, he really cares customers. Alright, the housekeeping, I hate to say this but it killed everything.
I don't mind old-fashioned facilities or noisy bathroom fan, etc. A little dusty microwave top? Who cares? Bathtub that doesn't have a drain stop? I can live without a hot bath. I really don't mind any inconvenience things.
Here's the first strike, there were 6 pillows (which was fantastic, so comfy) and four pillows with blue case had dust pieces here and there. Clearly the room wasn't cleaned for awhile - I couldn't and wouldn't ask JR to switch the room just because of the dust, but still annoying, the housekeeping wasn't properly done.
Then the second strike, two corners had spider web leftover with dust. Seriously, I have seen spiders here and there in the basement of my home but I have not seen the spider webs for a while unless it was never cleaned like between the chimney bricks and furnace. Come on, spider webs for real?
Lastly, AN ALIVE BLACK SPIDER in the bathroom corner and the spier web. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind killing spiders. I just cannot understand how come no work has ever done until spider has built its web (it's not a day or two size).
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great evening with JR. And a good night sleep. Highly recommend this place to everyone who wants a fun time! No complaints at all
- Kee (8/5): Very good -
- Pence (9/5): Attentive Management - JR!The man even turned on the tv for us. Fed us dinner, drinks . What other place opens the kitchen for you?We have never experienced someone like JR🙂The room even had K cups to get you started. JR is there to help you find plenty to do in the area. Brochures,he’s got you covered. Want to use the fire pit ,yep it’s available. Real towels. Felt like a visit to grandmas house. Heck,he even filled our cooler. Actually walked the ice over to our room and filled it🤣 The train and its whistle at 2 am
- Terry (10/5): - Great host easy to get a hold of made staying here easy and comeftable
- Chad (10/5): Great affordable comfortable clean place to stay. The owner and staff are excellent. -
- Joules (8/5): Best hotel near Warren! - I love that it was nice and warm in the room.
The room has a cozy appeal.
Looked exactly like pictured
This was the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in.
The staff was super friendly and showed me the tv, and complimentary coffee area.
They had little bathroom cups in the bathroom and lots of soap. I was in the shower and it suddenly got cold and then was all over the place.
My phone didn't charge while I slept, because I had the switch off and didn't realize the bottom plug was controlled by the switch.
I could hear the couple next to us fighting at 2am. (This is not the hotels fault)
- Lisa (10/5): Nice location, comfortable rooms & very clean. - Easy to find location. Clean comfortable rooms. Had wifi to use our Netflix. Coffee, tea, creamer, & sugar in room was a nice bonus. Quiet location. Close to Chapman State Park. Friendly & caring staff.
- bob (10/5): - Great condition for a an older building.
- Lori (9/5): Would stay again if in the area. Owner was extremely kind and helpful. - Comfortable temperature, clean, and comfortable bed. The bathroom fan was very loud. There was black sediment that came out of the shower when first turned on.
- Robin (6/5): Pleasant - The bed was comfortable. The water in the shower came out rusty and muddy so could not take a shower.
- Sarah (1/5): It was awful. - Nothing The noise. The bed. The atmospher/location. The coffee. No restaurant as advertised. No breakfast. The people that rent there long term.
- Sudha (10/5): Exceptional -
- M (10/5): Safe and comfortable - Absolutely perfect . Clean. Comfortable. Homey. Great host. Beautiful garden. Nice open area to view Mts. Outdoor seating area and fire pit.Conveinent to many attractions. Occasional late night truck sounds from highway.
- Martin (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (6/5): Pleasant - Good location for visiting other sites of interest Although the room was supposed to be non-smoking, there was a pungent smell of smoke which was very unpleasant.
This was even after our host had sprayed the room with freshener.
- Dale (8/5): - JR is a terrific host. Attentive. Cordial. Prompt. Knows the area. It's a budget hotel, but a fine spot to stay.
- Kathleen (10/5): - We had an awesome stay. The room was small, quiet and clean. JR is an excellent source of local info. Would stay there again.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Bob (8/5): It's ok - The place is ok. Looks a little rough on the outside but it is ok on the inside.
- Kessa (10/5): Quaint and friendly. - The staff was kind and the room was clean. Everything met our expectations and everything that we needed for the stay. We were happy with the overall experience. There wasn't anything we didn't like. Everything with the stay itself was perfect.
- M (10/5): A hidden gem - The room was quiet and very comfortable
Plenty of hot water. Air conditioning was cold. The bed and pillows were amazingly soft, it was wonderful to fall asleep and rest after a long day of visiting the mountains. JR is a great host and keeps everything updated and sparkley clean. The perennial garden is beautiful!! JR also makes sure there are plenty of options for the Keurig and your morning brew.
- Thomas (4/5): Disappointing -
- Martin (9/5): Interesting, comfortable place to stay with many nearby attractions. - Location, proprietor.
- Talbot (8/5): Very good - Location was good for event. Room was clean. Price was good and staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was small.
- Jeffrey (9/5): Superb -
- Wade (6/5): - Clean but room was over crowded with furniture. Check In does not sync with Hotels.com. I don't care to give out my Cell Number especially when there is a working email.
- Luis (9/5): Perfect - Comfortable and clean accommodation to explore Allegany SP and drive Route 6. Very nice owner who made straightforward our very late check-in. Nothing.
- Dion (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (4/5): An economy motel with both pros and cons. - An economy motel. Small rooms but worked for me. Clean My room faced the highway, traffic noise was a concern.
- James (10/5): - JR is definitely a great host. Nice little property and very convenient.
- Donald (8/5): Perfect. - We love little Mom and Pop non corporate motels reminiscent of yesteryear. This place fits the bill. JR was wonderful the room was clean and comfortable. Ice machine
- Mitchell (8/5): - J. R. was awesome. Loved his Jimmy Conners style tennis racquet. Nice guy…
- Bryon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanja (2/5): Very poor - It is not clear to us how the motel can have such good reviews because it was like something out of a bad movie. No hot water, cleanliness was not exactly at a certain level, etc.. It is better to avoid it.
- Zane (10/5): Very nice place at a great value - N/A
- Jan (2/5): Only good thing here is the price. - Where do I start? First, the place has no office. You have to call ahead and let the guy know when you are arriving. That's not always possible when you're in sales. Then he comes out and takes you in the room, closes the door, and proceeds to explain how to work the tv and turn on lights and AC. Being a woman travelling alone, I did not appreciate that at all! I've been turning on tvs, lights, and ACs for many years. The room was super tiny. The nearest restaurant was 21 miles away. Lastly, I could not get cell phone reception there. I need my phone for business calls. I called the manager to tell him I would have to check out a day early because of that and he said rudely, "Well you got through to me, didn't you?" Then we got cut off. I had to call him 4 times to get the message across due to poor phone connections. I didn't expect a refund on the second night, I just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. I can't possibly understand how this place got such good reviews! My parents ran a mom and pop motel back in the 60's, so I always try to give their little places my business when possible. But no office?? What about ice, vending, receipts? My Dad would always greet customers in the office even if it was 2am! This is a poor excuse for a motel and totally unacceptable.
- Jeffy (10/5): - I had a fantastic stay at this Inn! The property may be small, but it offers all the basic amenities, and everything works perfectly. The true standout is the host, JR, who is an absolute gem. His dedication and hard work are what make this place run so smoothly. JR's warmth and helpfulness were evident from the moment we arrived, as he waited late to check us in and greeted us with a great smile. His commitment to providing excellent service is reflected in the positive reviews this place receives. Highly recommend staying here if you looking for quick stopover while visiting Allegheny national forest.
- Jie (10/5): Good experience. - Beds are comfortable. Room is clean. Coffee machine, microwave oven.
- Jing (10/5): Exceptional - Everything!
Nice receptionist!
Very clean and comfortable room and bed. We
extended our stay there. Nothing
- Richard (5/5): Passable - very clean. Owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. road noise was bad. A/c too loud. bed too soft.
- Heather (10/5): - JR is very friendly.
- Graham (9/5): Superb - Lovely little place that can be used as a base to explore Allegany area. Nice sitting area to chill a day of hiking or biking
- Mary (10/5): Great little place to stay! - Great communication when booking room, a week prior and a day prior. JR was able to answer questions and give suggestions on places to see and eat. He is a wealth of information and if you have some time he has a trove of stories!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice place, old style motel.
- Greg (9/5): The stay was worth it and we will return. - The owner was very pleasant and when I lost an irreplaceable personal item in the parking lot, he found it and made it a point to make sure it was returned to me. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, linens were clean and when we needed additional towels they were supplied to us. The only negative point is that our stay was only for four nights and wasn’t longer.
- Steve (10/5): - JR is a great host - very attentive and helpful. We arrived on motorcycles during a thunderstorm and he helped get us checked in , settled, fed and even provided towels for the bikes. He was very helpful with the local attractions and history. We found the place accidentally, but we'll be back. Perfect for motorcycle is
- Brenda (10/5): We enjoyed our stay at rest. Stop six very much! We would definitely definitely stay there again. - Everything! The gentleman who checked us in, was very kind and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed No shower mat in the tub. The tub was a little slippery.
- Henry (10/5): - Excellent host (JR) is very knowledgeable and very hospitable- the place is both pet and budget friendly in a bucolic area - highly recommend a stay
- Ray (10/5): Good stop - It’s a great room for the money a little older but clean and the owner goes out of his way to help make your stay enjoyable I would give it a 👍
- Crystal (8/5): It was a great way to unwind and relax. - A nice spot to relax right in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest, with plenty of things to do and see nearby. Wish some of the amenities were updated.
