- Thomas (6/5): Nice hotel with great breakfast but poor staff. - Great breakfast, spacious rooms The staff were unprofessional. I understand English is difficult but very little effort was made to help communicate - this is the only time I have ever felt like this from my multiple trips and hotel stays China. For example; I went to the sauna during its opening hours and it wasn’t on - no problem. When I returned that night, I asked the reception to ensure it was on and they said it was. It wasn’t. This for me is a big no.

- Stephen (5/5): This property has gone down hill a lot in recent years compare to commencement time. - The staff at the main entrance shown reluctance to help guest checking in hotel. No expressions at all and also no knowledgeable answer to questions asked. When entered in room and could not make the tv works. It was because batteries are missing in the remote and had to go downstairs to the front desk because the phone in room also does not work which seems to be without connection.

- Verified traveler (8/5): 酒店整体不錯, 附近配套足，值得入住 - 酒店有非常多車位在地下停車場，自駕遊十分方便， 附近有一商場有超級市場， 還有連鎖快餐店, kfc, 麥當勞同pizzahut, 有一間中式點心店, 環境不錯啊. 酒店工作人員很有禮貌, 之前book的房間, 因為我們需要改為雙人間， 但由於是春節關係房間比較緊張，他們也能迅速作出安排調動， 我對他們的服務十分滿意。 美中不足，， 我們訂的房間原本是包括早餐的，但酒店說訂單錯誤，實際是不包的，， 要我們自己同hotels.com聯絡， 因此耽誤了不少時間， 及需要自費打長途電話， 但打了多次都沒有人接聽， 很無奈，唯有等返回香港後再向hotels. Com投訴., 希望以後不會有類似事件發生.
- Erik (2/5): Dirty and Noisy Hotel in Shantou - We booked 4 rooms for 2 nights. All the rooms were in the 10th floor facing the street. We could not sleep during our stay as even with the windows closed we could hear all the noise from the street. On top of that we found a cockroach in one of the restrooms. The hotel offered to change to another room in the other side of the hotel, but the room was dirty, smelled bad and there were hairs in the shower. Complete disappointment and we wont consider to stay in this hotel in the future.

- MARIA BEATRIZ (10/5): Top hotel in Shantou - One of the best in Shantou. I have stayed here 3 years in a row since it was opened. Facilities are great, no cigarette smell which is always a plus in China. Good breakfast, great beds and good service. Would definitely recommend the menshine.

- Sing Keong (10/5): Hotel staffs are all very friendly and helpful. - Most of the hotel staff can speak English so communication is not a problem. The service provided is excellent. You can ask them for direction to the tourist spot and even arrange transport for it.
