• maidment (5/5): i would stay again, but not in a room near to the road. All was ok apart from what i already liste - the location is good, the staff very pleasant and helpful. chairs and tables in the garden and on the beach wifi was very good my beachfront room was attached to another room, and the sound insulation was non existant, could hear everything from the room next door and also loud motorcycles. We were unlucky because there was a party on the beach nearby with loud music until 2315, but not the fault of the hotel. Apart from that all was ok. I think the room is a little expensive for the quality provided, but i guess its more expensive as beach front. Its fine if you are not a light sleeper and noise from the room next door and the road does not bother you. If i stayed again, i would ask for a room well away from the road.
• Benedict (9/5): We loved our time in Sam Roi Yot and can’t wait to go back. It’s a super chilled, beautiful seaside town. We enjoyed ren - Perfect location. Right next to the beach. Lots of lovely local restaurants nearby. Our kids loved the pool. We loved the free espresso coffee that you can pick up in the morning. Nothing.
• Tobolina (8/5): Süße kleine Bungalows am Strand - Wir hatten die Lage und die Aussicht von unserem Bungalow am Strand sehr genossen. Viele Sitzgelegenheiten und Liegen vorhanden Die Bungalows am Strand sind sehr klein, wir kamen nur mit kleinen Gepäck und das war gut. Für Koffer ist kein Platz. Das Zimmer selbst ist in Ordnung, aber das Badezimmer ist renovierungsbedürftig.

• julian (10/5): Fantastic location and property . Very friendly staff - We stayed in a Villa which was extremely comfy with a sofa and 2 double bedrooms. A nice balcony with a table and clothes hangers. A large fridge and good shower. It’s 50 metres to the beach with free sun loungers and yet it is very quiet. Perfect place Ants in the bathroom

• Timothy (9/5): Relaxt verblijf met ons gezin - De relaxte sfeer die er was. Dat als je de rustige weg overstak je gelijk op het strand was. Dat het onderhoud ietsjes beter mocht zijn.

• Ekhardt (1/5): Schade - Die Lage Wir waren entsetzt! Die gesamte Anlage ist in einem sehr ungepflegten Zustand. Ob Außenbereich, Bungalow,oder auch Pool. Das Personal wirkte desinteressiert. Auf unser Entsetzen schenkte uns das Personal ein Lächeln. Wir alle (5)waren bereits oft in Thailand,lieben das Land,die Kultur und das Lächeln der Thais, nur in dieser Situation war das Lächeln nicht angebracht.

• Mandy (8/5): Top… zeker een aanrader! - We kwamen aan met een zieke 7 jarige. Huis was nog niet klaar, maar we kregen gelijk de sleutel van de gekoelde pool villa om de 2 uurtjes te overbruggen. Zo fijn… Spraken goed Engels en waren enorm betrokken en behulpzaam. De locatie is fantastisch. Gelijk aan het mooie strand! De badkamer was verouderd en niet helemaal netjes

• B Dewan (6/5): Great location access to the beach - We had a room facing the beach so that was the plus sign. The service was handled by one lady who tried her best to understand our queries. The beach access location was great from the resort and we enjoyed the amazing sunrises. I understand this property is quite an old one but the grounds and over all maintenance of the resort seemed a little tired. The pool was dirty so we didn't swim. I felt they had a lot of potential to make this resort great again.

For budget travellers like ourselves it was great value for money. Everything was great. Maybe pool could do with a clean, but still very usable

• Wooyoung (7/5): Good - New experience for us. Because we usually stayed at hotels in a high rise buildings. Beach was perfect too. I wish they can provide breakfast (can be optional). The hotel didn't have a restaurant in it.
• Kwanchanok (2/5): Very poor - The price is not cheap but the place looks a lot cheaper than portrayed. The bed was hard and make quite a noise when I move. A lot of big black ant in the bedroom and bathroom, wifi was so bad that I have to use my own hotspot instead and almost no plug for charging

Not many furnitures like tables or chairs inside the house. Only one wardrobe for the house. Many small insects inside. The front door opens, will shut off A/C.

Some pictures 10 years old. Well on site, saw another resort, very fresh and new, just 400bath more incl small breakfast, , well worth the money for change.

• Leigh (6/5): Not the best. - We chose Baan Golden because we had children and couldn't get enough rooms at other resorts. Here we got two, two bedroom bungalows. The beds were generally too hard for western tastes and our rooms never got serviced. Each day we had to ask for our bottles of water and toilet paper. The pool was green when we arrived but they put that right by the following day. A good thing was the charcoal BBQ you could take to your bungalows and roast up a stack of food. We did that two nights! It wasn't horrible but I won't stay there again unless it really is my ONLY option.
