• Mükremin (10/5): Pure island bliss – jungle vibes, turquoise sea in 2 minutes, and the kindest hosts. - Best place on Koh Kood! Amazing location - only 2 minutes by scooter to the most beautiful beach. The rooms are very clean and cleaning service is excellent. You can also rent a very good scooter directly at the property for only 250 THB per day. The owner is the reason for 5 stars. We got sick and had to leave early. He immediately helped us with a full refund for all unused nights. No stress, no drama. Just true Thai hospitality. So honest and kind. Thank you so much, you saved our trip!

• julie (9/5): Je retournerais dans cet hôtel sije devais rebenir a koh kood - Chambre très propre. Porte hermétique ( ce qui est rare en Thaïlande) et évite aux bestioles d’entrer. Climatisation silencieuse ce qui est aussi extrêmement rare en Thaïlande. Il est très bien situé, à côté de la plus belle plage de l’île. D’un salon de massage exceptionnel et d’un restaurant bon et peu cher. Matelas très dur. Eau de la douche tiède.
• Wilbert (9/5): Vakantie is hard werken, Hier rust je in heerlijke stilte uit op een egweldig bed. - Geweldig bed, beste wat op 14 locaties op koh kood heb gekregen. De muren zijn dik, dus geen geluidsoverlast. De tuin heeft mooie planten. De bar is niet af, maar daar werken ze vast in het low-season aan aangezien alles klaar stond.

• Courtney (7/5): Basic accom but comfy and has everything you need. - Large size room, comfy bed, good aircon, hot water, good size fridge. Daily drinking water was great. Staff were friendly & helpful. For a cheaper, more basic accom option, this is good. Cafe next door was good and handy. 10mins walk to Bang Bao beach and 5 mins to nearby shops and eateries. Scooter/bike is handy to travel further. We were in room 5 so had loud noise through our wall as they are building on another room. First night was terrible, had to find and ask manager to stop the work at 7pm and the very loud banging still didn’t stop so had to go find him again at 8:30pm. He was very apologetic and the noise stopped the second time but wasn’t a great a start. Noise throughout the day but stopped by 6pm the other 4 nights. Room was a bit dirty when we checked in, and the dust and noise outside on our balcony from the renovations meant we wouldn’t sit out there or have the doors open. Water was a yellow colour and toilet had a bit of a smell. For a cheaper accom option, I guess these things are to be expected.

• Xenia (9/5): Unterkunft mit viel Platz auf einer Trauminsel - Jay und seine Mitarbeiterinnen bieten einen top Service und sind super freundlich. Kein geäußerter Wunsch blieb unerfüllt. Das Bett ist sehr komfortabel und der Platz im Zimmer und Bad ist sehr großzügig. Wenn die Türen zur kleinen Terrasse geöffnet sind, erhält man auch einen schönen Blick auf den gepflegten Garten und die Palmen. Die Lage ist sehr gut, mit dem gemieteten Scooter sind alle Strände und Restaurants auf Koh Kood auch schnell erreichbar.
• Herwig (10/5): - Das Zimmer war sehr schön und groß, sehr modern das Bett super bequem, das Badezimmer sehr groß, viel Platz, die kleine Terrasse super chillig und vor allem sehr ruhig, kein Straßenlärm! Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen! Super gelegen, beach nicht weit ! Supermarkt in der Nähe! Einfach toll! Der Vermieter super nett! Man kann auch Motorrad mieten !

• Tony (8/5): Nice, small accomodation, good location - Nice room, fairly new. Comfortable bed, good air-con, tv with Netflix etc, quiet location. Close to restaurants and 5 mins (scooter) to a beautiful beach (bang bao bay) The construction on our end room wall, went late into the night, even after we asked for them to stop. Was better the second day.
• Konrad Gerster (8/5): - Schöne, gut gelegene Unterkunft mit Garten und nur wenigen Zimmern. Zwei tolle Strände (mit sehenswerten Schnorchel-Spots) und Restaurants mit dem Scooter in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und vermietet die Scooter unkompliziert in der Unterkunft. Leider wird im Moment ein weiteres Zimmer angebaut, was ziemlich Lärm verursacht. Schade, dass kein Frühstück angeboten wird. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es aber zwei, drei ansprechende Cafés.

Bequeme Betten, genug Druck in der Dusche, genug Wasser. Allerdings nur kalt. Man sollte mobil sein. Die Strasse an der das Hotel liegt ist nicht wirklich für Fussgänger geeignet

• Liisa (10/5): Exceptional - Koh Kooh Bed's has a great location, very close to all the best restaurants. You can easily reach the whole island with a scooter. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom has a lot of space. All in all value for money. You can rent scooter from your host which is convenient. I recommend! :)
• Win (9/5): Superb - Koh kood is one of the best places to discover the actual Thai lifestyle and despite being a small island you can find a variety of food options. Koh kood bed is next to a lovely swedish bakery (Cici) where you can even get gluten free items. (The gluten free crepes are one of the best crepes we ever had.) And you shouldn't miss out on the chance to try the cooking class. It is also close to some other restaurants with a really good taste. You can also hire a scooter from koh kood bed and this makes everything so much easier to travel around the island. And the owner also gives you the contact number which could be contacted anytime for any query or in case of emergency. It is also close to Bang Bao beach which is 3 minutes drive and we used to go there in the late evening for a swim. The water is warm and even has traces of bioluminescence. This place is carefully managed by the lovely owner and we will happily choose this place again if we were to visit Koh kood again. There is nothing particular to be mentioned. 1. You will have to walk a lot to commute if you can't drive the scooter. 2. You will notice there are more mosquitoes around the island but this could be solved by the mosquito spray.
• David (10/5): - It's in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly why you go there. You're a 15-20 minute walk *or 5 minute scooter ride) to some of the most beautiful beaches on the planet.
• Gisela (10/5): Juwel - Wunderschönes, neues und absolut gepflegtes Guesthouse. Alles da was man möchte und einiges mehr. Großer Kühlschrank. Ruhig gelegen, nebenan ein deutsches Café fürs Frühstück!… und in kurzer Laufnähe ein liebevoll geführtes Thailokal an der Hauptstraße. ( Rechts runter 150 Meter ) wer Happy Hour zum Sundowner bei herrlichem Sunset möchte läuft die Seitenstraße runter beim Café vorbei und dann links im Beach Natural Resort runter zu deren Bar am Strand. Leckere Cocktails! Das weiter vorne am Strand liegende Strandlokal Monkey Bar war ein absoluter Reinfall! … Aber ein fahrbarer Untersatz ist für mehrere Tage erforderlich. Gute Entfernung zu den Stränden. Bezahlbarer Transfer wurde geschickt.

• Yonit (7/5): Mixed bag at best - The room was very spacious and clean. The AC worked well, and the bed was comfy. The location was OK, a little isolated, but with a couple of places to eat nearby and a beach 10 minutes away. There was no hot water. It was tepid at best. When we mentioned this to Jay, he got really aggresive and even told my friend that we can leave. We are 2 women traveling with 3 kids... So we had cold showers for 3 days and did not approach Jay again. He did not speak to us after that. We will never come back or reccomend this place to anyone. Very untypical Thai experience.

• Lisa (10/5): Peaceful location in a good area of Koh Kood to explore all parts of the island. - Fabulous place to stay, I’ve been coming back now for over 7 years, and have seen the hard work and dedication that Jay the owner has put into the place. The rooms are huge and immaculately clean, Netflix Tv if you do fancy a night in. Lovely peaceful location amongst swaying palms trees. Beaches & restaurants are close by and easily accessible by motorbike, which you can rent on site and are all super safe and new. Highly recommend.

He gave us a lot of helpful information about the island, such as the ferries timetable. Besides that, there's a very good restaurant next door (Cicci Thai cooking)! • Carlos (10/5): Tucked away in a quiet location with quick access to the best beach! - This is a beautiful, quiet property and our space was so comfortable. It’s a well taken care of property and Jay was a lovely host. He has a beautiful property and we loved everything. You can rent a scooter on site and there’s a lovely cafe right next door to the property. You have quick and easy access to nearby beach resorts (a 10 minute downhill walk or quick scooter ride) for dinner or drinks and an incredible beach thats perfect for sunset. Nothing not to like. It’s well maintained and conveniently located.

No restaurant on site and the nearby cafe that the host informed us to go to for breakfast, weren’t actually serving any food, just coffee. However, there are many restaurants that you can reach within a few minutes on a scooter.

It is in a quiet area and within walking distance to Bang Bao beach and also local eateries and shops. The room overlooked a desolate coconut plantation but we knew it was a garden view so no complaints really.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Het is een prima accommodatie zonder restaurant of ontbijtservice, maar dat zit allemaal in de buurt dus je mist niks. Omgeving is heerlijk rustig en toch zit je overal vlak bij. Het strand bij Siam beach resort is super!
• andrew (10/5): Great value in modern Ko Kood accomodation - Ko Kood BEDs is a brand new four room accomodation. The rooms are large, modern, and very simple with a huge comfortable bed and luxurious sheets and pillows. Jay is trying hard to get his new hotel off the ground and is a one man show. He offers drinks and snacks upon arrival and has great advice about the island. Some things that may still need some work are extending the WiFi to the rooms and getting more water pressure for the showers.
