- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent stay - Staying at the Accra Luxury Apartment Cantonments was an excellent experience. The property is modern and well-maintained, and the grounds are impressive. The apartment itself is spacious, with a market, pharmacy, and spa conveniently located right next door. The property is in a great area and has excellent 24-hour security. Our host, Kevin, was outstanding and always responded to our requests promptly.

- Amin (8/5): - The check in process was efficient, note check in is at 2pm and no real l wiggle room for early check in. Pick up and drop off service for the airport is very reliable, pick up is free drop off is $25 usd. Place is super clean as the cleaning come early day and detail clean, note they don’t give wash clothes and only 1 towel per person and they only change every 3 days unless you request so just bring your own. WiFi is not good at all but to their credit they did come in the night and Change the router but it only worked in the room it was in, not in none of the bedrooms which was a bummer having our 2 boys that’s very connected on social medias. They have a supermarket connected to the building ( little pricey) and a sit down restaurant 2 minutes walking of the facility called the Capitol, food was ok there, the boys used the roof top basketball court and the mini track and they loved it. They have a very clean pool, took me several days to get the depth of the pool as they don’t write it on or near the pool, it’s 5 Ft BTW, they also have a gym under the amenities that they need to take off because the gym is not part of the apartments, it’s a paid by day gym if your visiting and they don’t have much in there besides 2 treadmills and a smith machine that didn’t work properly, overall I give it. 4 because of the WIFI, and stating they had a gym and they didn’t which really disappointed me and my boys.

- Allana (8/5): - I recently stayed at this property and overall, I was quite impressed. The property was clean and well-maintained, which was a big plus. The staff were also super helpful and friendly. However, there were a few areas where the property fell short. Communication could be improved - I sometimes found it hard to get in touch with the front desk or get clear answers to my questions. Additionally, while the apartments were generally well-equipped, I noticed that some of the amenities were not consistently available in each unit. Despite these issues, I would still recommend this hotel to others. With a bit of work on communication and standardizing amenities, I think it could easily score high marks. For now, I'd give it 8/10. Cleanliness and staff attitude are definite strengths.

- amitche5 (8/5): Stinky spoiled milk smell, but average value and convenient location - So, we are staying here now. We also stayed in the Lullwater apartments 2 weeks ago before we went to Kumasi. There is a horrible smell in this apartment, Number 16C. Not sure if someone was smoking and they tried to cover it up. But, it smells like a mixture of spoiled milk, homemade soap and smoke. It's really bad, but no one felt like going through the trouble of changing apartments when it took hours just to get checked in. Please plan on a long check-in process. Confirmations with these people are not considered confirmed. We booked through expedia this time and paid in advance, yet no one was here to meet use when we arrived at 2PM and someone had to be called to come over and let us into our apartment. You also cannot get more than 2 keys no matter how many are in your party. We appreciate Harriet's efforts who helped us at both locations of Accra Luxury Apartments we have stayed in in Ghana. Also Derrick brought us the most hangers we've been able to get at both locations. This apartment is a 3 bedroom 2 and a half bath and has bathtubs in 2 of the bathrooms. There is also a balcony view with a faux balcony (meaning you can open a sliding door and have fresh air, but there's nowhere to step onto outside). We have a courtyard view of the pool. However, the built in drawers under the bed are broken and there is no dresser/bureau to unpack clothes. My mattress is completely sunken in. They need to change this one out badly. There is a front loading washer that's supposed to dry but doesn't work well. So, you will need to bring enough hangers in order to do your laundry. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes/cooking pans. There's coffee and an electric kettle as well as coffee machine we didn't have at Lullwater. The area is very walkable as there is a restaurant next door and a grocery store and pharmacy. There is no gym in this building. You have to pay to use the gym next door which has various prices depending on which equipment you want to use. There is a pool included. I think this area is as safe as Accra can offer. You will be sold things everywhere you go and there are homeless and crazy people begging as close as across the street, but this is Ghana. For reference, I'm from small town USA so culturally things are very different from people from Chicago or New York. This may be quite normal for people who live in big cities. We mainly used Ubers to get around, but there's safer walking near here as this is the embassy area of town. If you're between something like this and a better known hotel chain like we were. You might find more value in renting one of these apartments, if you have a family or larger party of people. We couldn't find hotels with double or queen beds, so it was cheaper to get a 3 bedroom apartment than to reserve 3, king bed hotel rooms for our family. Just be prepared for a load of shenanigans with the reservation, confirmation and check-in process as well as an entire circus nailing down negotiations on a final price.

- marcus devlin (6/5): - They did not provide wash cloths or for the ladies- may miss the lack of a shower cap. They are real stingy with the toilet paper rolls that have very little paper per roll. One roll left and I have to call and ask for another because housekeeping does not leave any extra. You could potentially use a whole roll and not yet be clean…you get my point. My iron went bad and I had to reach out multiple times to multiple people to get a new one. The AC worked good, the place was nice and cool. You can’t stream anything to the tv without paying an additional crumb-snatching fee for data to the tv. The kitchen and living room was only part where you could get a reliable signal

It is ran by agents who do not communicate and wouldn't check you and you never hear from them afterwards so much so we didn't even know where to leave our keys after we checked out.We booked our airport drop off(which was to be included free)and the transportation never showed up.We left very early in the morning and we had to use regular taxis that costed us much more than we expected.I stayed in 2022 and was hoping it was a one time thing but again stayed this year and also took some family boy was I wrong and unfortunately this experience was even worse. We would never stay again and would not recommend anyone to stay there.

The location was absolutely the best and conveniently next to the supermarket, spa, pharmacy, restaurant and dry cleaners. Basically everything you need in 1 setting. The customer service was awesome. From checkin with Harriet to shuttle service back to the airport with Chester. Harriet was super nice from checking us in to the day we checked out. She answered all questions and randomly checked on us throughout the stay to make sure we were always good. The apartment was clean and a very nice setup, decor was really cute. I definitely recommend this location if you're visiting Accra Ghana. I will be returning in the summer.

- Lester (10/5): - Accra Luxury Apartments Cantonment was a real pleasure. The staff driver Chester was awesome, he texted via WhatsApp advising he was waiting for my arrival. A very impressive, safe and professional driver in the hectic traffic of Accra. The apartment location was central and access to the city via Uber was convenient and inexpensive. The market downstairs from the apartment had the necessary supplies for my stay. I was not impressed with the food at the Capitol Restaurant. The pool was clean and well maintained. The grounds were clean and nicely landscaped, though the old Putt Putt golf area should be addressed. The housekeepers were great, friendly, efficient and thorough. Security was always on hand and attentive. Had a great stay and would stay here again.

This property sent me an email while I was travelling to Ghana which on the eve of my arrival informed they had an 'emergency' and could not lodge me. I only read the email when I landed in Accra. They claimed they would send someone at the airport to take me to another location. No phone number was given and I waited an hour at the airport expecting to see someone with my name on a banner. I made 8 calls to the phone number available on Hotels.com only to get the coordinates of the driver of the proposed alternative residence. Finally, I met him and he said my name was not on his list. When I arrived at the second location, I realized they were also overbooked. In the middle of the night, lost in Accra, I finally found a hotel to spend the night, vowing never to book at that place ever. Nor should you.

At 4:45 am while we were still in the air I was emailed to notify me that they were relocating me to a different but "equal" location. We were notified again about this by Godfred (who was very helpful. no complaints about him). We were then brought to the pine court apartments a hotel in an unsavory location without any of the amenities, (no breakfast, the pool was dirty, no gym, no chess set etc). We immediately brought up that 1. This hotel was vastly interior to our original accommodations, did not have the breakfast that i paid additionally for and wasn't even one of the 4 locations on their website. When we asked to be moved we were informed that we would have to stay at pune court for 2 days then we could be moved to their gardens location. (Which they wouldnt have moved us unless we demanded it). They said they would bring us breakfast the 2 days while we were at the pine court apartments. I will say the apartment was clean but it was not in a walkable are so we couldnt easily access the surrounding area. In the morning our breakfast options were 6 different sandwhiches and juices and they were out of the options we desired. When the sandwiches came, the bacon was raw and the lettuce was going bad. We were unable to eat any of it. Problems at the gardens: they didn't know we had breakfast, ac broke in one of our rooms, the bed was broken in our suite. We were happy to go home. Book somewhere else

- sean (8/5): Not a good stay - The bed in the apartment I stayed in was terrible. It had a duvet in it from long periods of wear. It was hard and very uncomfortable. The furniture is old and not clean. The place needs a total update.

They did not provide the rooms we reserved. They did not provide the promises that they made. I have stayed there 2 times and the exact same thing has happened. We don't have the rooms you reserved could you stay in a smaller situation and then charge you as much as $150 more. Bait and switch. Terrible.

- Charles (10/5): - The full kitchen and large living room made it great for us with the need to spend some downtime together. Also, there was a good restaurant, a lovely cafe within walking distance, and a grocery. The manager was very helpful with the changes we needed to make and he was available when we needed him. The grounds were very peaceful and the trees made it nice and shady. We will definitely be using this place again soon.

- Lisa (2/5): - Don’t be fooled with this property being listed on Expedia and other major websites. It looked nice from the outside but booking is a risk. Each apartment is privately managed and when we went to check in the owner and/or property manager refused to give us our apartment even after a friend went days before our arrival to confirm the reservation. They wanted to put us in another apartment further away from that area (Achimota) which we refused. I’m assuming they didn’t want to honor the discounted rate we received on Expedia and I’m sure they gave our apartment to someone else for more money. They left me and my kids stranded with no place to stay after 24 exhausting hours of travel. Scammers!

The room was clean and the employees were ready to assist. I will definitely stay at this aparthotel during my next visit to Accra.

- Nazaahah (10/5): - I LOVED this hotel! It was clean, the hosts and staff were hospitable, the restaurant was delicious, the pool was warm, the gym was well-equipped and the yoga studio was a bonus! AND it was in walking distance to the W.E.B. Du Bois Museum! I would definitely stay here the next time when in Accra. The only sad part was we only stayed here one night!
