• blanche (10/5): Séjour ressourçant dans cette hostel dans la jungle. Les plages aux alentours sont supers. - J'ai aimé me sentir comme une cabane dans la jungle mais en beaucoup plus confortable. J'ai aimé le fait que tout soit extrêment propre rangé. J'ai aimé me sentir la bienvenue.

• Guilherme (9/5): - O hostel é muito bonito e está cercado pela mata, lembra uma casa na árvore. É um ambiente ótimo para relaxar. A equipe é muito simpática e solícita. A localização é boa: o ponto do ônibus é bem perto e a praia principal fica a uns 25 minutos de caminhada. O acesso da rua até a entrada do prédio é feito por uma pequena trilha.

• Renata (9/5): Imersão na natureza de Parati Mirim - No Remo Hostel, as diversas áreas de convivência conversam perfeitamente com a natureza ao redor. Há cantinhos deliciosos para ler um bom livro e ficar de boa. Conheci muita gente legal, rolou passeio juntos e boas conversas. Pratiquei yoga todos os dias com o cantar dos pássaros. No meu último dia lá, avistei tucanos durante o café da manhã. Hospedar-me aí foi um verdadeiro presente, só gratidão! Onde quer que se esteja no hostel, é possível ouvir passos e outros ruídos por conta do piso de madeira e das paredes de bambu, mas se acostuma. A partir das 22h, o silêncio é obrigatório para o conforto de todos. Achei o quarto coletivo feminino muito apertado, então troquei por um privativo, muito melhor.

• Isabelle (9/5): - Das Hostel ist unglaublich toll gebaut und man fühlt sich als würde man im Wald schlafen. Die Atmosphäre ist total entspannend und beruhigend. Die Gegend ist generell wunderschön und das Frühstück sehr lecker. Man sollte wissen, dass auch die Einzelzimmer quasi nicht privat sind, da es keine richtigen Wände gibt.

Antes da hospedagem, ninguém entrou em contato.Ao chegar, o caminho era ingreme, com lama. O carro não subiria. Estava com um cone impedindo. Não tinha informação onde deixar o carro. Não conseguir contato, neste momento, pelo telefone. Depois falei com uma pessoa que me disse que eu teria que subir a pé. Como? Com minha bagagem? Eu e meu marido somos idosos. Sair de ParatiMirim e tive que me hospedar em outra posada em Parati. Quero ressarcimento.

• Agustin (10/5): Gran experiencia. - Muy lindo hostel dentro de la mata atlántica. Imperdible para los amantes de la tranquilidad y la naturaleza. No hubo luz un día pero no fue un problema.
• Amanda (9/5): - O lugar é totalmente integrado com a mata e é isso que faz ser incrível! Se você não está confortável em um ambiente rústico, com insetos, pequenos sapos e aranhas, este lugar não é pra você. O espaço para comer, a sala e o deck remetem uma atmosfera incrível para conhecer outras pessoas e também relaxar. Café da manhã servido a parte, bem simples, mas feito com muito carinho. O René, dono do hostel, é uma pessoa MUITO simpática e carismática, amei conhecê-lo. Nosso quarto privado em específico não tinha vedação completa da janela, o que fazia a luz entrar e consequentemente acordar cedo. Também não é muito espaçoso, não tendo espaço para colocar as malas, por exemplo. O banheiro também não tem boxe e nem cortina, ou seja, fica todo molhado depois de alguém tomar banho.

• Emma (9/5): A unique place - The hostel and the place are amazing. You are in the middel of the nature and Parati-Mirim is one of the most cozy places. Combination of beach and mountain is crazy and its one of the best places to rest and reconnect. The volunteers and the people visiting were also amazing. I booked for 1 week, but stayed 3 weeks in total. It was the best beginning of my trip in Brazil. The host drinks too much sometimes, it didnt influence me directly, he is not there all the time and the group-feeling of the volunteers and visitors made me feel really safe. But this in combination with multiple stories of trying to seduce one of the visitors makes it really bad for me. The place is still wonderfull, so i dont want it to be ruined by this. But i also feel that people should know

• Nina (10/5): Tudo que a gente tava precisando - O lugar é lindo, muito agradável, fiquei com medo de sentir calor de noite por não ter ar-condicionado, mas msm em JANEIRO la tava fresco de noite e o ventilador tirou de letra o calor, a cozinha é muito bem equipada, os banheiros sao ótimos e sempre sao limpos, indico fortemente e voltaria, é um encanto de verdade Durante o ano novo uma funcionária me perturbou para apagar as luzes as 22, mesmo so eu meu namorado e mais 2 pessoas ficando la acordados para a virada, depois de um tempo de conversa ela deixou as luzes ficarem ligadas se eu prometesse desligar se alguém fosse dormir, estaria tudo bem se essas fossem as normas do lugar, mas em outro dia com o dono la vi que essa regra não existia, so de diminuir o barulho, enfim foi bem desagradável, ter que passar por uma discussão sem pe nem cabeça no ano novo…

• Ana Beatriz (10/5): Perfeito para quem deseja uma experiência imersiva na natureza - Quando fechei os dias no Remo era pq precisava descansar no meio da natureza e é exatamente isso que o hostel oferece. Um lugar de descanso, som da natureza 24/7, muitas redes e sofás confortáveis na área comum, uma cozinha bem equipada onde é possível cozinhar suas próprias refeições e o banheiro feminino é ótimo. A estrutura da casa é interessantíssima, tudo lindo, feito em madeira e aberto para a floresta. Fui sozinha e tive a sorte de conhecer pessoas maravilhosas que fizeram da viagem ainda mais especial.

A casa, localização em meio a natureza e a estrutura era muito boa. Operadora de celular só funciona TIM na região. A limpeza tem alguns pontos a melhorar, a Internet pode falhar tbm, se a ideia for fazer home office, considere usar o celular se for Tim. Se o clima estiver chuvoso e com ventos pode faltar energia.

El desayuno es casero y está súper rico Hay momentos en los que algunos animales se meten en la casa (porque es toda abierta) y eso la hace un poco más incorporable. Aún así, forma parte de la experiencia. Si buscas algo más confortable, restaurantes y otras opciones de lugares a los que ir, no está bien conectado con la ciudad (por los horarios de buses) recomendable ir con coche o moto.

• Anastasia (10/5): - Really amazing atmosphere in the hostel. Everyone who worked/ volunteered there were really lovely, warm and welcoming. The people staying at the hostel were also all very kind and nice. The house itself was so beautiful and peaceful. You are basically in the rain Forrest in a treehouse. It's nothing boutique but very natural so it's good if you are a nature lover. There were a few beaches and a small convenience store to buy food and snacks. The bus stop is opposite the entrance of the accommodation so getting around the area is easy.
• Maria (5/5): Conheci pessoas incríveis. - O grande diferencial está na localização em meio à natureza, que torna a experiência realmente especial. A casa, situada na altura da copa das árvores, é simplesmente magnífica. Além disso, o ambiente favorece o encontro e a troca com pessoas novas, eles recebem muitos estrangeiros, o que possibilita treinar e aprender novos idiomas. Banheiros sempre limpos. A limpeza e manutenção da casa deixa bastante a desejar: há excesso de poeira, teias de aranha, objetos decorativos sem higienização e os bambus que compõem as paredes demonstram claramente falta de limpeza. É importante destacar que entendemos a “sujeira” natural de uma acomodação em meio à mata, ainda mais por não haver portas e janelas, mas isso não elimina a necessidade de manutenção adequada e limpeza. O café da manhã é bastante simples e nem sempre está fresco; os potes com pastinhas e geleias permanecem dias na geladeira, o que é perceptível pelo sabor envelhecido. Além disso, para quem tem receio ou medo de animais, é importante considerar a presença frequente de sapos, pererecas e insetos dentro da casa.

• Magda (6/5): Quartos sem privacidade, mas contato com a natureza, simpatia da equipe e boa convivência compensam - A proposta do hostel é muito interessante para os viajantes que amam estar em contato com a natureza. A hospedagem é super agradável neste quesito, pois está mergulhada no meio da mata e ainda tem uma "vista" discreta para o mar. O clima entre hóspedes e equipe é excelente. Você se sente muito bem vindo. A organização do espaço é grande e tudo é muito limpo e acessível. Na verdade não prestei muita atenção quando fiz a reserva e não existem quartos formais com paredes e portas. Então, isso me deixou um pouco apreensiva e sem liberdade. E como cheguei à noite achei que a identificação do local é muito falha. Como estava sem sinal de rede de telefonia e internet fui salva por um casal que compartilhou o wi-fi comigo e consegui fazer contato com o hostel. Se não fosse isso não conseguiria chegar ao local.
• Franziska (8/5): Would come back when it’s warm ;) - Amazing tree house feeling, easy to find (the van drops you off on the road), many hammocks and spots to chill, well equipped kitchen, 20 min to the beach, friendly people running the place, I had an interesting conversation with Igor. When I was there it was unfortunately very cold (18 degrees), so being in an open house was a bit uncomfortable. Also the electricity was off since 8pm until 2pm next day, so everything switched to (for me unpleasant) white light and warm shower not possible. Thats not the hostels fault, it’s everywhere, but still was a little issue for me. The towel I had looked very dirty and I took another one. In the female dorm almost no space for stuff.

Funcionários super legais - Isa e Nicolas, vocês são demais! O hostel faz você ficar em sintonia constante com a natureza e se você permitir, te proporciona ter conexão com outras nacionalidades através dos outros hóspedes. Uma experiência incrível! Há comércios próximos. Simples, mas eficazes. É possível agendar passeios pela região através de parceiros do Remo, de acordo com a disponibilidade do serviço. Tem transporte público para Paraty (Centro histórico) e para retorno - consultar horário dos transportes. Café da manhã farto! Higiene boa! Dica: usem e abusem da cozinha compartilhada do Remo Hostel! Muito bem equipada! Além de economizar uma boa grana com refeição, uma vez que você leve seus mantimentos, é claro, você leva o sabor da sua comida para o seu lugar de lazer e aventura. Só não pode esquecer da regra da cozinha: usou, lavou, secou e guardou. Pra resumir: o Remo é um hostel rústico que consegue reunir bom serviço, aconchego e segurança num só lugar. Não gostei da hora de vir embora! Vontade de ficar lá por mais dias!

Respeitam bem a regra de silêncio dps das 22h, pq real pela casa ser de madeira, qualquer movimento faz barulho.

• J (10/5): Totally worth it - Loved the atmosphere and vibe. The staff is really warm and chill. Lots of nature around and a good chance to swim and hike. This is a place where you can rest and charge your batteries or socialize with other people. There is a bus going right down the road but i didn't use it so i don't know about the schedules.
• Frances (7/5): Amazing place of you want to be away from Paraty and people, really cool property with lovely staff! - Really cool treehouse in the jungle, something really unique and different. Very comfy hammocks and hang out spaces. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast looked delicious and the overall vibe of the property is so relaxed, perfect if you want an escape from tourists and to experience something new! The location is a 40 min bus or shuttle van ride from Paraty and they run pretty infrequently so bear that in mind if you want to go into the centre as Ubers are very reluctant to take you to the hostel and usually try charge you extra. The bugs and mosquitoes are no joke so bring PLENTY of insect repellant. There are private rooms but as it is a treehouse, there is very little privacy so if you are a light sleeper, I advise bringing ear plugs.
• Nick (10/5): Forest Paradise - I stayed for 5 days and was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. The treehouse is in a beautiful location and is the perfect base to explore the Paraty area from. Paraty itself is a 20 minute bus ride away, but I wouldn’t recommend staying there as you can easily explore the town in one day, so makes a nice day trip from the hostel, before retreating back to Remo’s forest paradise. Really easy to take a boat from the local beach to explore the nearby islands, go on a hike, or just to do absolutely nothing and relax at the hostel. All of the staff were really lovely and breakfast is delicious. If you don’t like being exposed to nature, this might not be the place for you. But if this is your thing, you’ll never want to leave. Vibes were impeccable and I highly recommend staying at this hostel!

• Lorena (8/5): Very good - Beautiful hostel- great location- Paraty Mirim is very quiet. Hostel is nicely built, good shared kitchen and lots of sweet common areas. Amazing breakfast but not included. I think for the price of the hostel it should be. My mosquito net was pretty old and had a couple holes in it. Bathrooms could be cleaned more frequently. Toilet paper bin was kinda full most of the times I used the ladies room.

• Kirsty (7/5): Good - The property is great, well decorated, nice tree house indoor outdoor living. You feel very close to nature. Slept great and the breakfast was very good I have to admit that what makes it part of its charm is also a bit it’s downfall, it is a bit far from paraty.

• Kiyabala (8/5): Very good - The staff was fantastic and the vibe of the hostel too. It was the perfect place for a retreat. The water was either too hot or too cold and the mosquito nets were a bit dirty, we understand that it's in the middle of the jungle but it would be good to replace them for fresh clean ones when new guests arrives

• Joppe (10/5): Lovely and relaxed - Staff was super kind and caring, making you feel right at home. Enough places to chill and hang out. The breakfast options are great and at a fair price. The dinner is home cooked by a staff member and is very nice. 100 recommend to stay here!
• Christine (9/5): if needing a break from the city, traffic and crowds, a break in nature - definitively this is the place to go - the location in the forest, the animals, the sound of the birds and insects and the delicious smell of home made bread and cakes in the morning. the vibe, quiet and perfect to disconnect for a while the location may be tricky, a good walk from the beach but the bus stop is just down on the road, ask the bus driver to drop you off at the remo hostel when coming from Paraty, there is a big sign indicating the path up to the hostel. isolation, its a ‚tree house“, all open, don‘t come here for honeymoon ;-)
• Edward (5/5): Passable - The location and the nature surrounding. Freedom to smoke anything under shelter. Hearing rain and frogs when you sleep. The pictures are misleading. The breakfast is not as appealing as the pictures look. The facilities are run down. The mosquito nets have holes in them. The private rooms are not very private. The parking is only accessible if you have a reasonably sized car/4x4. Id recommend taking lots of mosquito repellent as theres no windows. Overall very overpriced for what you get.

• Daniela (8/5): Very good - It is a beautiful tree house like place! You can hear the insects and frogs at dusk. Perfect place if you want to stay in touch with nature. The permanent staff is great but the volunteers are a bit meh.. not really helpful. Public transport works but it takes a long time to get to Paraty center so keep that in mind when planning your trip

• Soares (7/5): Could have been better. - Very beautiful place, with magnifique view and immersion in nature. Interesting architecture as well. None of the staff is employed, they are all volunteers who come to stay maybe 2 months or less and then leave. This results in a lack of compromise of their part. You feel like you’re there but they don’t really care. It is not their fault. It’s more the fault of the owners who have no hired and properly paid staff. Also, there is music playing (sometimes very depressing electronic music) from 8h to 22h. This can sometimes be unbearable. Nature around there is beautiful and I would have loved to have silent moments in which we can hear the birds and the forest. Everyone is nice, but I did sense a lack of professionalism and contradictions to their philosophy of “good-vibes” and “carpe diem”.
