В соотношении цена качество, самое то. Удобные для нас кровати , с жёсткими матрасами. Периодически выключатели свет, но это больше проблема острова, так как эта проблема везде, а не только в этом отеле. Очень приветливые и дружелюбные сотрудники Рядом расположена рыбацкая деревня. Когда сушат сети, то может пахнуть рыбой. Из 12 дней проведенных в отеле, два дня как раз попахивало
- Elisabetta (7/5): Carino,ma lo ricordavo migliore - La vicinanza alla spiaggia,lettini a disposizione degli ospiti ,la colazione vista mare ottima e abbondante anche se un po ripetitiva,il personale cortese,salvo qualche rara eccezione. Le camere che sono adiacenti in un corridoio vicino alla reception sono buie e umide e la finestra ha una vista sul muro,disparità di trattamento di alcuni dello staff verso clienti di altra nazionalità ,visto che avevo scelto un tavolo per la colazione in una zona più arieggiata perché faceva caldo,un dipendente mi ha chiesto di spostarmi più indietro.Quando ho notato che invece ad altri turisti è stato concesso di restare nel tavolo in posizione più fresca mi sono lamentata con lo staff,questa disparità di trattamento non è professionale. Come viaggiatrice singola non mi sono sentita molto sicura poiché il fatto di essere sola ha dato adito a interpretazioni errate della mia gentilezza scambiata per disponibilità di altro tipo.
- Sittah (1/5): It was so bad we left after 2 hours - Nothing, but if I had to find something:,The receptionist was kind and helpful. The beach is very beautiful but full of annoying vendors. Not peaceful at all. This place was so bad we didnt even stay. The room was totally unacceptable. The window gave view to a wall which was located about 1m in front of the window. You could not walk to get into bed, you would have to shuffel sideways as the space was too tight. The bathroom was dirty. The towels were dirty and stained. The safe didnt work. There were no deck chairs available at the beach as they were given away to outside people, not staying at the hotel. It didnt feel safe or comfortable at all. We asked for a better room and were told nothing was available. We did get a new, functioning safe though and the lady at reception was very kind and courteous. The pictures of the rooms shown on booking.com are NOTHING like the room we were given. We left after two hours and asked for a partial refund but are not getting any answer from the manager. After his initial message saying he would have come to give us another room (when three of the staff refused to give us another room, claiming they were fully booked) and that he was 'sad' he has proceeded to ignore our messages. The whole place has the vibe of a cheap hostel but the prices are pretty stiff. I would not recommend it to anyone.

- Anton (7/5): I would come back. - Staff, the room, the location. It was a really really nice stay. You had the feeling of being taking care of like you where part of a little family. The staff was so so kind and helpful. Even when you where close to a little breakdown cause of a situationen the staff handled it so well without you felt guilty. They where VERY well spoken in English and the room was just perfect. There is one thing which is just hard to come around and do anything about. But it it’s that do you have to room closes to the stairs you will be hearing the generator if you go to bed before 23-24. There ain’t much to do about it. It how it is in Zanzibar. Cause they get electricity from the main land. And it’s not 100solid. So you can either choose to have no electricity or stay somewhere where there is a generator. Last option is it pay for the sea view. Which I would recommend. There is around total of 24 rooms. So you have to be quick to book. DO IT NOW 😁

- edwill (5/5): Meh - The location was excellent. The best thing about the hotel is the location Rooms are very dated. Bed was kind of uncomfortable and taking a shower was an experience. The whole bathroom got wet. Power went almost everyday. The generators didn't have enough gas and it was extremely hot in the rooms without the AC
- Mihailović (1/5): Not recommend - Location, partly breakfast. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone. The arrival of the taxi that was supposed to be waiting for us at the airport, and that organized the accommodation, was an hour late. The accommodation is below average, the furniture is old, in one room there was not even a bed, but the mattresses were placed on wooden pallets. The ground floor feels damp. Frequent power outages. The unit is extremely noisy and the exhaust gases end up in the rooms on the ground floor. There is no sound insulation. We stayed only one night out of the 4 nights booked. The owner of the building avoided giving us the money for the accommodation all day and in the end, when we left, there was no one at the reception and the owner did not answer the phone. Never pay in cash, and if the staff will insist on this type of payment, because you won't get a bill and you won't be able to fight for your rights.
- Barbara (7/5): posizione della struttura ottima - posizione della struttura e servizio in spiaggia buonissimo Il soggiorno è stato nel complesso piacevole, tuttavia la camera presentava alcune mancanze che sarebbe utile migliorare. Non erano presenti appendiabiti o appendi asciugamani, né sedie, elementi che rendono la permanenza decisamente più comoda e funzionale. Inoltre nella camera non era presente una porta per il bagno e la doccia si trovava accanto al letto, una soluzione che può risultare poco pratica e che riduce la privacy. Inoltre la corrente elettrica andava via spesso; anche se mi è stato detto che è una situazione abbastanza comune nella zona, può comunque creare qualche disagio agli ospiti. Con qualche piccolo accorgimento e miglioramento dei servizi, l’esperienza potrebbe essere decisamente più confortevole.

Staff were amazing, very helpful with good communication… Nice private sun beds with umbrellas for free away from all the sealers , the beach and ocean are amazing with soft white sand . the AC is great and working perfectly. Nice bed with comfortable mattress and private balcony The room and bathroom are basic with old furniture, hot water for shower can be a problem as it doesn’t run regularly, wifi is terrible, but considering the prime location it’s definitely worth the price!

- Vanessa (8/5): Tolles Hotel in guter Strandlage - Wir hatten 2 große Doppelzimmer, von denen wir gleich am Strand waren. Zimmer waren groß und sauber. Das Personal war super freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Frühstück gibt es im Strandrestaurant und man hat schon am Morgen den wunderbaren Sand an den Füßen. Preise sind etwas höher und den Touristen angepasst. Leider ist neben dem Mocco Beach Hotel ein italienisches Hotel, was den ganzen Tag Action und laute Animation hat. Auch in der Nacht gibt es kein Ende. Einen Abend ging es locker bis 2:30 Uhr in der Nacht. Dies hat die Erholung etwas getrübt.
- Ryan (9/5): Clean, comfortable, with good facilities. Would stay again, especially due to the location. - The breakfast was good and hearty. It was in a good location close to a good beach and within walking distance of many things. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with good A/C and hot water. Staff were very nice and pleasant. It’s not about what I didn’t like, it’s more about Google maps and driving to that area. If you drive your own car there, be warned it gets very congested back there and parking can be a little complicated. Google maps is not accurate to the driving directions, and considering the condition of some of the roads, it can be confusing. But if you’re being driven, which I recommend, than no problem. You won’t be disappointed.

- Anna (8/5): Great hotel - Very great place. It's clean and great standard compared to price. Great location and kind staff. If the rooms had WiFi connection or TV it would be one star up :D Basic, but very good breakfast with a lot of fruits and fresh juice. How your room were cleaned depends on your tip, without tip it was very basic. Food could be a little bit better.

- Nakaye (9/5): Splendid - Monica the receptionist and all staff were extremely friendly and always willing to assist. Room was spacious enough, hot water and hair drier available. The meals are perfect with pocket friendly prices too. Would stay here again. Nothing bad only that management could consider adding bathroom slippers. Was told they weren’t available.

- Kondwani (4/5): Not what we expected. - Location No place for towels in the bathroom. No foot towel in the bathroom. No cleaning the following day despite that we were staying for two nights. Food is too expensive but of poor quality. Rhe staff us good and very friendly. Especially Monicca was great. The breakfast can be better. For 85 USD per night certainly not good value for money. Next time, I would choose another place.

- John (8/5): 3 Star Hotel - 5 Star Location - The “backyard” of the hotel is 100m of pristine beach to the calm waterline. Comfortable beds, hot water showers. Very good breakfast. Poor wifi.
- Barbara (4/5): While the location was great, the accommodation itself was passable. - The location is its strongest point as it is very close to the beach. The room was stuffy and only had one window in front of a wall. If other guests are loud at night, you can hear everything.

The staff were rude, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, needs a good refurb, the wi-fi is inexistent unless you are by the reception or the restaurant. The sunbed guy reserves the sunbeds, by placing old cloths , for paying outsiders, they like the dollars in their pockets . The hotel residents need to use the sunbeds at the back which is annoying. The female bar staff is very rude. The advertisement for the wifi is so fake . The routers there are just fake routers . But they don’t work. They don’t have a first aid box, a guest was hurt, and they brought a first aid box that was literally empty. The list goes on.

- Donaldas (9/5): Hotel by the beach - Hotel close to the beach, good location. It has own restaurant and beach bar. Beach towels provided. Cosy beach area. Good breakfast. Charge 5% if pay by card.
- Kayyoum (1/5): Not a great choice to stay there . - The location to the beach. The breakfast is tasty. Where to start. The staff all Have attitude, very rude, as if they are being disturbed when asked something. From the reception to the guy looking after the sun-beds by the beach. The wi-fi doesn’t work at all in the room on the first floor . May be worse in other places . When you tell them, they just smile and tell you it works sometimes. Which is a blatant lie. They have a fake router for show. The guy by the beach places fake clothes on the sun-beds for him to cash dollars from outsiders wanting to rent them. But if you are staying at the hotel, you have to use old sun-beds at the back everyday. And he tells you they are reserved . Which is another blatant lie. Also, make sure you check how much you are paying before touching your card. My friend was charged £27k for a chips and a cocktail. When it got declined , we knew why. The female staff especially are very rude , at the beach bar and the reception. They all need training . The bathroom needs updating , the water pressure is not great. There was a weird smell coming from the bathroom.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Ok hotell utan wifi och livade fester fr grannen - Wifi fungerar inte på rummet. Inte alls! Bodde en halvmeter ifrån routern men det gick inte. Personalen har ett wifi om man vill stå i receptionen. De har ett annat wifi (grannens) om man är i restaurangen. Men det funkar inte om du ligger i solbäddarna. Viktigt för mig då jag behövde internet hela vistelsen. Därav dåligt betyg. Halvslö service.

- Madeleine (10/5): Great value and friendly staff - The hotel is not glamorous and amenity wise it is what you would expect of a midrange hotel. However it has a perfect location right on the beach and easy access to local tours and attractions. It is very clean and well maintained. The hotel staff were so wonderful and accommodating. They made such a good effort to make a personal connection with me and as a woman traveling by myself they made me feel so safe. The breakfast is made to order and not buffet style, so the food is very fresh and had a lot of options for whatever you preferred that day.
