Guest Reviews
- Gareth (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jasmine (1/5): Property does not exist! - DO NOT BOOK we arrived at the property and it was closed - the reception was empty and dusty. We then went to a local business and asked them for help and they said the hotel had been closed for a while. Booking.com took over a week to respond to us so we were left stranded and were very unhelpful overall. Stay away. Everything - it didn’t exist
- Jenkins (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (6/5): Pleasant -
- Apoorva (1/5): Bad -
- Durmuş (7/5): Good -
- Shwety (6/5): Pleasant -
- Raul (10/5): Balcony is amazing and breakfast is amazing staff are all very helpful and nice - Property is nice and comfortable Location is a bit far but not bad , I would stay there again but it is a walk to go in and out of the main parts of the island
- Lisa (8/5): Best views ever - Great comfortable room, stunning pool and views were out of this world (despite the evil climb to the top of the stairs which aren't for the faint heated). Lady on reception was absolutely lovely. The local cats visiting our room were an added bonus. We paid £110 for a fairly basic room. It was comfortable but a little expensive compared to other hotels we used during our stay.
- Annabel (7/5): Good - Bed was super hard - like a rock!
- Sarah (4/5): Disappointing -
- Rebecca (8/5): Enjoyed our stay here pool area had lovely view and location was ideal - The view from the sea view room
The location Room was slightly outdated even in new building. Everything worked but could’ve done with updating.
- Nicolas (6/5): Good breakfast bad location - Privacy and the breakfast Expensive far away and hard to reach to the room
- Aleš (7/5): Good - I like swimming pool and breakfast and the view was amazing Location
- Megan (5/5): Nice hotel, nice staff - Pleasant! Hot water Doesn’t make it clear you will not be staying in the
Main hotel unless you book a expensive room
- Shimona (7/5): Good - View is good Room was on 4th floor. It is a little hard to climb all the stairs on a sunny day especially when you have luggage
Google maps doesn’t show right path to the property. We had to struggle to find the right location which was again difficult with luggage
- A (8/5): Good for the price - Break fast was great for the price the staffs are nice Room can be nicer not a fan of glass door
- Adam (6/5): Hot!!! - The view very good from room and pool
The pool No pool side bar or restaurant
AC basically not working, room was like a sauna with outside being cooler at night than the room.
No wifi in room
- Heard (9/5): Superb - Quiet away from the noise and the room fulfilled the whole thing Wasn't easy to find if you don't have Google maps
- Alessio (8/5): Good choice if you want to sleep outside the downtown chaos in Phi Phi! - The view was onto another apartment, the room was big enough and the pool was nice with a great view on the bay. However don't expect it to be empty, it was full all the time. Staff was nice and the laundry service wasn't expensive. A few more beds at the pool could be a good idea, as a european I regretted eating the cut fruits at the breakfast buffet - had to rush to the toilet after haha.
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Oren (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (1/5): Horrible stairs the place smelled like a sewer - Nothing Everything
- Anstiss (9/5): Beautiful view, very clean, - Lovely view, was very clean pool is central , was very quiet To get to our room there was over 70 stairs, wouldn’t recommend to elderly or anyone that has bad legs. We missed our first night as there were no boats running after 4pm we message to let the lady know we wouldn’t be able to make its and she was very blunt
- José (10/5): Convenient and away from the noise - Clean, modern and functional I stayed in a addendum building, so all the amenities are a couple of streets away
- Rose (10/5): Exceptional - Really nice views, nice pool, very clean! Staff friendly good value for money
- Chris (4/5): Would never stay here again. - The view The sewer tanks outside my room. The walk up and down and the location. Friends checked out instantly due to the algae in the pool. Were not even asked why.
- Hermano (8/5): Very good -
- Hasan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Anaiya (10/5): Exceptional - Nice clean rooms & good location The steps!!! & Need more seating around pool
- Michael (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything . Staff was rude . No electricity for 4 hours we wanted a refund the same day we checked in as booking was not as it was advertised . Too far of a walk from shops and not convenient . Also too many stairs . Will be contacting booking.com as staff were rude and didn’t want to give our money back
- Erin (8/5): Good standard and value - Nice view from the pool. Good air con and comfort levels. We didn't actually have a view from our balcony, just overlooked the back wall of a villa.
- Rhodes (8/5): Quite enjoyable experience on Valentine’s Day, as my partner and me just got engaged - Location No towels
- Clement (6/5): Very dirty and an unhelpful staff with an unfriendly attitude - The view is very nice! The room was okay except the cleanliness! The staff was very bad! They are just there to take money! The room was very dirty! We asked them to clean it more thoroughly, but the next day, nothing had changed—it was the same! It’s also overpriced for what you get!
- Gustavo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lukas (7/5): Good -
- Hermans (7/5): Good -
- Adam (5/5): Passable - View was great, room was clean. Room was quite far from anything going on. A/C unit started leaking water throughout the night.
- Dana (2/5): Won’t stay again, staff was nice just the place is not nice at all. - The people was friendly and the view from the pool is nice The rooms was very dirty, we had a cockroach run over our cases spent half hour getting it out of the room. The shower give us an electric shock. Very un hygienic room. The room smells a lot and very dirty. Also very far from anything the walk to the room is up two heels and loads of steps. So out of breath when you get to your room.
- Katie (9/5): Good location and views - View from room and pool was great, room and balcony big and good location
Comfortable bed Leak in bathroom that made the floor constantly wet, we had to turn the water off to stop it leaking.
Breakfast fine
- Blažej (4/5): Disappointing - Very good breakfast, Aircondition over head, you are sick in the morning or will we move the bed like we did but the bed is quite hard.
"Beautiful view" from balcony see the foto...no sound proof room
- Tiah (3/5): Be careful of which building you book - It was within walking distance to the town centre. Be careful when you book. If you are in building A - it is NOTHING like the photos. It's old, run down, awful beds, the pool is not onsite, no view. And it wasn't particularly cheap to stay there. I was very disappointed. I tried to book a nice place for my mum and I to stay on a once in a lifetime dive trip together, but instead we were in a rundown place.
- Sergei (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louis (8/5): Not bad value for peak season - The pool was nice and relatively quiet considering we were in peak season. Location was only 10 minute walk from Phi Phi centre. Beds were comfy enough Was hard to find reception and the staff seemed slightly moody, the walk to our property wasn’t for the unfit as we had to climb loads of stairs but to be expected for the view.
- Marek (9/5): Superb -
- Zoe (7/5): Good - The views from the too
And pool The steps
- Stephanie (9/5): 3rd time staying here. The stairs are a challenge in the heat but the views are worth it. lovely staff, extremely clean - Views, location, beds Steps but we were right at the very top, didn’t bother us too much though
- Fábio (7/5): Good - Breakfast Communication, staff needs to be trained, mainly the room cleaners
- Kathryn (8/5): Lovely views. - Nice room but you do have a number of steps to get to it. If you have mobility issues it would be a struggle.
The room was clean, tidy and comfortable with a balcony and view over the sea and bays.
The pool was nice, again a view over the sea.
Breakfast had a good choice and was tasty.
Reception was good at booking us in for additional nights when requested. We had to pay a cash deposit (500 baht) for the key on arrival which was unexpected. And we forgot to ask for it back on returning the key and had left the island before remembering about it.
- Wanderer759826 (2/5): Stay clear - If you’ve any sense don’t stay in this hotel. Receptionist can barely speak English never mind work out simple maths. I booked 3 rooms and was told we all had to pay 500 baht deposit which we all did. I was given a receipt to say I’d been paid and then the receptionist started accusing me of saying I haven’t paid the deposit and he was checking the CCTV. I said no problem, CCTV clearly showed I had paid the deposit. However because when I initially paid I have him 1x 500 baht and 5x 100 baht, he then asked are you paying for both deposits for 2 rooms I said oh no, sorry I didn’t realise I’d given you 1000 so I left him with the 1x 500 baht and took the other 5x 100 baht instead.
To sum it up, he was basically accusing me of not paying the deposit, despite already giving me a receipt to say that I had. Liars with minimal English. At the end of the day 500 baht is around £12 but it’s the principle of his ACCUSATIONS and stupidity not being able to work out simple maths and understand the actual role of his own job.
As for rest of the hotel, if you’re into carrying 20kg suitcases up Mount Everest to get to your hotel room you might like it here.
Waste of time and a rubbish start to what was supposed to be a relaxing family with holiday.
Hope you enjoy reading your own reviews on how awful your establishment is 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂 been to Thailand 3x and this is the worst place and people I’ve ever had to deal with.
- Md (8/5): Very good - Good Room
- Ian (8/5): Reasonably priced hotel with a lovely pool and view - It has a nice pool area overlooking the sea and mountains, very helpful staff.
The rooms are quite big and comfortable It's a very steep climb to the room from the reception, the hotel is quite spread out.
I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with walking difficulties or with excessive baggage.
The bathroom window cannot be closed , so when showering after dark with the light on, it fills with many flying insects, which inevitably find their way into the bedroom area.
We had a lot of noise from the neighbouring room during the night, but if you have considerate neighbours that's obviously not an issue.
- Nikas (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (7/5): Nice view spacious rooms - GrI at view and still very central (as long as u don’t mind stairs) Our room was not cleaned the day after our arrival, we notified reception the following morning to ensure it wasn’t missed again that day, 2pm (check in time) rolls around and our room is still not done yet they brought water to the room meaning they had been there, I give it until 4 pm and the room still is not done so I go back to reception and it was 5pm before the room was done. Not a major issue however on checkout they have to check the room before giving back deposit, they managed to get to the room and check it within 60 seconds so clearly quick on the mark when it suits them🤣
- Freeman (8/5): Deco worth the money - The view the pool the room staff We went up about 100 flight of stairs but to be fair the staff helped carry our luggage
- Amy (6/5): Amazing view from the pool , cute rooms - The room was a good size with a nice balcony , lovely swimming pool . The towels have had it , there’s no phone in the room , to call reception when you are up the top of all the steps you need some one to collect bags.
- Tida (7/5): Because it is high season, expect crowds, expensive fee and short of staff. - Great breakfast! Lots of fruits!!! If your have a noisy neighbor who stayed up all night, it is hard to sleep.
- Joana (4/5): Disappointing - The pool Super far from center, the stairs are a nightmare if you are on the top rooms even if you’re fit, the stairs to our from were actually unfinished, still in concrete, the walk up to the room is very ugly.
The location is wrong on Google maps (if it tells you to turn left for a steep hill, don’t turn, just keep going straight until you find the reception).
The staff does not make an effort to accommodate you at all and most of them don’t speak english. We asked via message if we could pay by card on arrival for which they said yes. When we arrived, there was a 3% fee to pay by card which they never mentioned. When I asked the lady about that, she ignored me.
There was no cleaning or water given while we were there, which they mention they do every day. Again, when I asked the staff about it, they ignored me.
The shower gel they provided was actually conditioner. They say they dont take responsibility for things taken from the room yet don’t give any instructions on how to use the safe and ours seemed not to work.
We felt like they were doing us a favor by giving us a room even though we paid, never coming back.
- Lau (5/5): Passable -
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- Lily (2/5): Very poor -
- Metka (8/5): Very good -
- Mohammed (5/5): Passable -
- Ryan (8/5): Brilliant one of the best nights I had In Thailand, staff was pleasent and I’d 100 percent stay again - Beautiful views from the pool! Had to walk miles up steps.
- Uzum (5/5): Regular - Reception service and laundry service The cleaning service
- Ellie (3/5): Broken TV, smelly bathroom - View was nice I didnt realise when booking the ocean view room, this would mean there were lots of steep stairs to reach the room. We were the top room which meant lots of stairs!
- Jodie (7/5): Good -
- Sander (7/5): Decent - Fairly modern, nice view, quiet location. Hard to find, since it is basically 2 locations, and google maps sends you the wrong way.
Rather expensive, like most hotels on phi phi.
- Hannah (6/5): Decent - Good pool, good location Bed was rock hard and quite a lot of steps to the room
- Michael (7/5): Pay more for a hotel on the beach - The views are amazing
Good value
Was a good 15 minute walk from the main area Walking up all the stairs
Small room
- Megan (10/5): Very relaxed atmosphere at this resort! - Amazing balcony view and pool view! Just a short walk from all the main areas, so not loud at night time at all as it’s just away from it all, really easy to find!
Loved our stay here!!! Although we had no issue walking up and down the stairs, just be prepared if you struggle with stairs that to get to the pool/rooms it’s up about 100ish steps!
Other than that we would definitely recommend this hotel for phi phi :D
- Megan (10/5): Excellent - Excellent No clothes line
- Ben (9/5): Superb -
- Charlie (10/5): Amazing - Amazing views clean rooms It was all fabulous
- Andrius (9/5): Couple - Spacious rooms, nice view, quite place, Nice view from swimming pool, water in the swimming pool was clean. But the best was - the breakfast, huge variety. To climb upstairs to the room. Smell from the toilet was bad all the time. There were some broken things in the restroom. Some people like, but me, I don't like it - the mattress were hard.
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- noras833 (10/5): Great View and walkable to action - Lovely quiet hotel with a great View of the Island and ocean of you book the right room.
Its 5-10 min walk to the center which is great, because you actually get some sleep at night. And yes, there Are many stairs but i would expect that at a «top View» resort in an under developed Island.
My room was nice, top floor. They cleaned the room every day, and came with fresh water and towels on the door.
Some things that didnt work was the TV, + the shower lived its own life at times. But not hint that bothered me.
If you love a good View, quiet area but walking distance to the action. And dont mind climbing some stairs - this is the place for you!
Just make sure you book a sea View room.
- Jemma (7/5): Great stay but be aware of the steps. - The pool is the best thing about the property. Rooms were ok. The rooms are away from the nightlife so noise is minimal. The steps are uneven and in place really big. Near the pool the steps are newer so easier but in order to get the view you need to be high I suppose. Bathroom had a lot of mould on the silicone but generally clean. Didn’t see much of the staff.
- Courtney (5/5): Lovely views but lots of stairs - The property had amazing views and the room was a good size
The pool was amazing Lots of stairs, be aware it’s a lot especially in the heat.
Room wasn’t cleaned
Tv was broke
Balcony door didn’t lock
Its a bit confusing the layout as reception is ages away from the actual rooms
- Faye (7/5): Great hotel room, pool and views! - The rooms are fab. Large modern and spotlessly clean with amazing views and pool. Stairs!
- Madeleine (8/5): Very good - The view was lovely but we had to climb 113 steps
- Chad (7/5): Good - Beautiful view Very uncomfy beds
- Joao (7/5): Valur for money - Good value for money. I got a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. It was a big room with all the essencial stuff.
If you are looking for a budget option its worth it.
5 min walk to the main streets. Google maps sent us to the wrong place but it was close by.
- Annamae (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trek54949751975 (4/5): Don’t bother - Gorgeous view but …
100’s of steep steps up to get to the apartments.
The area around the hotel is very poor and not clean at all.
The staff were not helpful.
The bed was like sleeping on a wooden board.
The shower was cold.
The safe didn’t work.
And the air conditioning doesn’t reach the bed so pointless.
All in all a big disappointment.
However very cheap I guess.
- Ni (9/5): Superb -
- Bethany (3/5): Cheap but wouldn’t recommend - The views are stunning! The bed is rock hard and like sleeping on a metal bed.
The shower was freezing cold.
The steps up to the apartment are ridiculous and there is no lift.
Getting suitcases up there was horrendous.
The safe didn’t work properly
Air conditioning isn’t directly over the bed so pretty pointless.
The staff are not very helpful at all, apart from the pool guy who actually helped us which we were very grateful for.
No meet and greet from the ferry
No help in getting our bags back to the pier
- Cassio (9/5): Superb -
- Konstantin (1/5): We booked the hotel in advance, 3 months before our arrival. At the time of booking on Booking.com, we informed them tha - They accept cash. Nothing.
- Waad (8/5): Very good -
- Asen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kattherine (8/5): Very good -
- Elaine (8/5): Very good -
- George (6/5): Descent - The view Too many steps to climb, toilet smelled bad, and the tiles were dirty, and dangerous bare cables on the bedside lamp
- Stuart (1/5): Bad -
- Shauna (2/5): Not great - Not much The bed was as hard as a rock. There’s a ridiculous amount of steps to get to the bedroom. We booked a room we a sea view and there was a massive tree completely blocking the view and the hotel did nothing to compensate
- Andromache (7/5): it was good and near to the centre - Room view with pool and sea the beds weren't comfortable
- Martina (7/5): Lovely stay - We had a room with a beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast was good room was very modern and the pool was wonderful . I also liked that a staff member was at rhe boat to pick us up It was a little walk and there are quite a few steps. How ever this does mean that it was quite. I only had one hanger for all my clothes. No room clean after the first day. Most important the top of the kettle was broken which is a health hazard
- Nikola (9/5): Great family room with lots of space, really nice view to wake up to and fantastic pool - The view was great, pool really nice and a very friendly black cat No complaints, the stairs are an effort but worth it for the great views and quieter location
