- Erica (2/5): - It seemed more like long term rentals. People had permanent cooking and lounge facilities in the car spaces. Sheets didn't fit the bed. Young kids were coming to our door to "play". There was no shower arm and the shower head was wrapped around the hose.

- Brad (2/5): - Disgusting, dirty, would not recommend. There were dirty cotton wool buds on our door mat. Smoke alarm had been removed and was on the table outside. Carpet was putrid. Something was living in the walls. Dirty marks on the walls, doors etc. piles of old tyres piled outside reception. Our roo. Wasn’t ready when we arrived at 5pm to check in. Managers kids were running in and out of the room while they had come back to set up a bed. Then proceeded to jump on our bed.
- Robin (4/5): - No advertised breakfast, no milk, no cutlery only one fork, no hairdryer, no blankets on a cool night, kids bikes in driveway or behind cars, feet got dirty walking on tiles, cigarette smoke in room from next room, dumpster overflowing in front of the motel.sewerage smell in bathroom with sticky tape across the drain hole. Dust on bed head and reading lamps. . This is a motel with mostly permanent residents with children and animals. Must say bed was ok. The manager and his wife were very pleasant though.

- JohnnyGoldcoast (10/5): An Oasis in an industrial location - This is a great value hotel amongst a bit of a boring location. Gladstone is an industrial town so don't expect too much. However the owners were really nice and it was a bonus getting breakfast included with my Agoda booking. I actually stayed here 2 months ago from the Gold Coast just to break the journey on my way to Yeppoon. I would stay at this hotel again but I doubt that I'd visit Gladstone again.

- Geoffrey (8/5): Quiet, comfortable stopover not on the highway. - Overnight stay on the way back to Brisbane from North Qld. The motel had been closed for some time during Covid, and was not busy. As a result there was some dust on the floor. I am not imagining this would be a problem in the future, as the host was competent and very helpful. This property should be relatively quiet as it is in a suburban street and the two rows of rooms are well apart. Also has brick walls and is all on ground level. Our room had been totally renewed several years ago and was lovely. Bed was great.

Our room was spotless and had everything you would need. Close to town as well. Highly recommend this Motel.
- jeremyb962 (10/5): Excellent value for money - I recently arrived into Gladstone of an evening without a booking for accommodation, as unsure how far I’d get. After a quick Google search I found several options to call, two places gave frosty responses but the owner, Tasos, was very friendly and helpful. Rooms here were very good, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and there was even a 2 seater lounge in room. Room rate includes a very good continental breakfast. This is an excellent value for money motel in Gladstone. I highly recommend it.

- D8308YHroberth (8/5): Future Star in the Making - Straight forward no frills motel and with a new management only now getting going I am sure this is the motel to watch.We were not in the room very long and our host arrived with all the goodies for breakfast. Cheerful and polite and also receptive to learning what other motels were like and what could work for him. Wish you luck and will stay with again if I should pass through. - renz632019 (10/5): Somewhere to lay our heads - Great place! We are travelling to Port Douglas and just wanted a bed for the night. $105 got us a very comfy King bed with a complimentary continental breakfast. The managers were lovely! Highly recommend.

Dont know much about gladstone as we only stayed 1 night as a stop over before driving back to surfers paradise but I highly reccomend this motel! Awesome owner! Had good chats. Will definitely revisit if we are anywhere near Gladstone!!
- thirureviews (10/5): Neat, tidy and excellent value for money - We found the Gladstone Motel as a neat, tidy and value-for-money accommodation in Gladstone. We are an young family with a 3-year old, we really loved staying at the hotel. The owners were very friendly and provided what we needed. My son and I had a good splash at the 1-1.5m indoor heated pool which had a nice warm temperature maintained. Enjoyed our stay at this little gem of a place and we would be more than happy to come back again. While we stayed here, we traveled around Gladstone CBD, lookouts, Town of 1770, Agnes Water for day trips.
- Pippa116 (8/5): Good budget accommodation - Me and my partner were passing through Gladstone and needed somewhere to stay. The manager was really great and accommodating. The motel rooms are very clean, the toilets are a little dated but clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The rooms are fully kitted with a fridge, microwave, cutlery, pots, kettle and tea/coffee etc. There are also towels and soaps.
- 304alicel (8/5): Quiet and clean - On a road trip to Mackay, spent two nights at the Gladstone Motel. Generally the motel room meets high standard for motels. Modern bathroom, good water pressure, good air conditioning, clean towels(one face washer, one hand towel, one floor towel and three bath-towels), microwave, and free wifi. The staff at the reception is very friendly and very helpful on travel advices. Down points are no on-site shared laundry facilities, and only one lock applied to each motel room, given the location of the motel (it is right on the side of the main road, no closable fencing to defend the motel from dodgy walkers at night), I wouldnt say I feel very safe to sleep in an one-lock-only room. May recon for travellers who want to keep things under budget and who is NOT travelling alone.

- GudrunK2013 (8/5): Recently renovated - Very nice motel which was recently renovated and has a great modern bathroom, good air con, and good kitchenette facilities. The bed is comfy. The location is good, close to a supermarket and a petrol station, and a few minutes drive to the city center. Owners very helpful. Would recommend staying here.

- mitchr11 (4/5): Avoid if you can - I stayed there for one night because the rest of Gladstone was booked out. The reception was ok, except the owners were trying to tell me I got a 'free dinner'. After I enquired further (didn't sound right), what they were referring to was that all charges went back to company account :s. The room smelt a bit funny, only received one towel (no face towel). The walls are paper thin, and curtains are thin, let light in and do not cover the whole window. Location is ok, but could be dodgy late at night. Only positives were breakfast was nice, and shower pressure is great. Unless you have no where else to go, I'd avoid it.
