Guest Reviews
- Corrine (10/5): The staff were amazing and smiling all the time. Also the food was perfect - The location The room was not clean
- Angela (8/5): Ideal for a short family visit (2 rooms) - Room basic but very good value for money.
Comfortable mattress.
Full English breakfast was very good.
(Food has always been good here)
Parking. Small shower cubicle.
Poor lighting for shaving / makeup.
Lack of table service at breakfast.
Unlabelled lever in bathroom (bidet / fountain surprise)
- Natasha (4/5): 地點很好,房間不大洗澡時要小心 - 房間的地點位置很好,早餐就一般般 洗澡被燙傷 的熱水能水控制非常的複雜不好操作
- Gary (8/5): - Friendly, helpful staff. The food in Carriages was excellent. Good value breakfast. The room was a little bit on the small side, and the bed creaked every time you moved
- Nicholas (8/5): -
- Likaa (6/5): - staff,price,location cleanliness
- Hugh (10/5): -
- Imre Lehel (8/5): -
- Breeda (10/5): We had a great time, lovely staff and good food - Close to everything and staff are friendly Rooms a bit small
- lisawO3034LM (6/5): Not good - On arrival The hotel looked lovely , downstairs was great apart from the very overpowering air freshener smell. Once we got into the room it went downhill. The room was small , yet again overpowered by air freshener, no good if your asthmatic. The bed was so close to the wall that you either had to climb over the person next to you or wiggle to the bottom of the bed to get out if you didn't want to wake the person next you . I dropped something on the floor which rolled under the bed , it was rather dusty under there. Breakfast was just plated and given to you , no asking what you would like. You were not given time to eat your cereals before it was placed on the table .The sausages were pale and unappetising looking. A smile would of been nice from a certain staff member .
- Waseem (1/5): - It was too dirty, there was a spider in the room on the ceiling and the floors were disgusting and dusty like they haven’t been cleaned, the toilet seat was dirty and had marks on it I couldn’t even use it, I ended up leaving after 3 hours I couldn’t stay in the dirty room they need better cleaners, the sink was covered in dirt too
- Lorraine (1/5): Extremely poor, uncomfortable bed . Room far too small for a couple ? Couldn’t move round at all - Nothing Disabled husband No working lift ? Room size ? Facilities?
Had an accident cracked shin on corner of bed . Very painful , bled . No proper first aid available . I filled in an accident form and was given a very small plaster . Poor room service. Upside down plug sockets? Back to front taps ? Cold very hot ? Hot was cold . Husband nearly burnt mouth .
- Trevor (5/5): Second time of staying here within two weeks, the room deficiencies made this visit less pleasant. - Well placed in a leafy suburban street between two parks and a very short jump from J10 M1 made this a good situation. The room we were allocated was very cramped although the en suite bathroom area was a good size. Bed extremely close to wall on one side and was of the tip-up style so not that comfortable - pillows slipped down the back of the bed. We asked twice for extra pillows but none were forthcoming. Storage space within the room was a bit limited, not a great problem for two night stay but not ideal.
- Menara (6/5): - Had parking, bathroom was clean. Plenty of tea and coffee Room was quite dusty. No temperature control so the room was hot. Kettle needs descaling.
- Clare (9/5): - Lovely hotel, close to the airport. Nothing
- Nicholas (7/5): -
- Marius Precup (10/5): -
- Abdullah (1/5): - Location Not clean smalls rooms expensive
- DAVID (8/5): -
- William (5/5): We'd stay elsewhere next time. - Location near Luton airport. Tired rooms in need of painting and refurbishment. Lift was inoperable, room was on third floor. Room had a Murphy bed with no box spring.
- Guest (9/5): -
- DAVID (8/5): Nice hotel even with the planes flying over head until 3am - Room was good Breakfast was poor,
- Trevor (7/5): A nice change from chain hotels, well placed between two pleasant parks in a leafy residential stree - Bed was comfortable, overall ambience was pleasant with a well-lit window overlooking trees Bed was of the put-u-up type - no issue with comfort itself but it left a gap between mattress and wall which allowed pillows to slip down and there was some metal structure underneath that caught an unwary toe en route to the bathroom causing some bruising and discomfort.
- Ricky (3/5): - Easy to find Too noisy and bed uncomfortable
- Christoforos (8/5): -
- Martin (5/5): Poor customer service care - Friendly staff Creativity in attending to customer's needs. Needed more training on customer relationships.
- Peter (9/5): -
- Helen (7/5): Good for a budget - Bar was nice food was good Room was small but for price that’s was acceptable my issue was the cleaners knocked twice in the morning by accident waking me up both times and I struggled to sleep again as they were talking very very loudly despite it being 8:30 am
- Fabian (9/5): - Amazing service from very friendly staff. Lack of power socket next to bed
- Anthony (9/5): -
- Peter (9/5): Man I man. - Clean and tidy Shower cubicle
- Kevin (10/5): Nice place and service with a smile - The staff were all very welcoming and made a great breakfast
Great value and discounted at the time of booking Room was a little small but fine for what we were looking for
- Alan (6/5): -
- Javid (3/5): Would not recommend or stay here again. - Friendly Staff
Good breakfast options Room not clean
Very tight parking, only good for small cars.
Room door would not lock
Shower cubical very small and mouldy
Poor location directly under flight path of Luton airport
Ants in bedroom
Bed broken and in poor condition
- laurie (8/5): -
- Karolina (2/5): -
- Mike (5/5): - Location and cost Not having a proper bed & no breakfast menu
- Hawksley (9/5): - The service and facilities were beyond expectations and proved to be excellent value for money. The only negative comment was that the shower unit had no cubicle and if someone was to lose control over the shower head then water would wet everywhere. Parking is very convenient for the disabled.
- D2148QFceric (10/5): Wonderful 90th Birthdsy Lunch - My mum in law would like to thank the manager and staff for her marvelous birthday lunch for 40 friends and family. It was an amazing day. The room was decorated beautifully in white and lilac with baloons and a 90th birthday sign. She was delighted when she arrived! The staff were entertaining, professional and attentive to all. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed the lovely atmosphere. Just perfect
- Stanislaw (10/5): - Dziękuje za pobyt w tak wspaniałym hotelu Moje odbicie w lustrze.
- Michelle (9/5): Staff amazing, - Staff amazing and so helpful, I had an issue with my shower and the staff were so accommodating and helpful. I booked the hotel due to the location for work. I will be booking again
- Taavi (9/5): -
- 9Grace (10/5): Celebrating my Brother’s Life - After my brother died we wanted to celebrate his life and so we booked a buffet for friends and relatives in Carriages restaurant at the Linton Hotel. Our booking was dealt with professionally from start to finish. The staff knew exactly how to make sure everything ran smoothly and ensure that all went well. We were able choose our own music on Spotify, the food was plentiful, beautifully presented and first class quality. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Everyone who attended was impressed by the hotel decor and bar service, and the relaxed atmosphere ensured that we all felt at ease. The seating and table arrangements ensured that everyone had a seat and also that they could chat comfortably with friends old and new. We were all impressed that my brother was given such a memorable send off.
- Theresa (4/5): -
- HeleneMMF (6/5): A mixed bunch at the Linton hotel. - We stayed for two nights and chose the hotel because of location, it had a restaurant (quite pleased and service excellent), a meeting room for a medium size gathering (quite private and appropriate), it could provide buffet type food for our guests (very good) and it had a bar (good selection of drinks).
However, the entrance and the foyer were certainly more impressive that the room which clearly required areas of replastering, and a good coat of paint - the type every home usually prides itself with, let alone a hotel. We had to ask for toilet paper (marvellous - not embarrassing at all...), the sink and bath did not drain as they should (would consider calling a plumber at home), a bulb was blown so no bed lamp on one side, another bulb not working in the bathroom. What was particularly objectionable was a laminated floor ready for a good dusting and scrubbing. Breakfast?? On day 1: English, perfectly cooked, would have again on Day 2...but failed with the plan as we were misinformed with serving hours, and apparently missed out on a continental only breakfast.
The bed was very comfortable though, with a selection of soft and firmer pillows.
We debated about going again and probably we would not, unless we needed arrangements for a family gathering again...or we did not want to try anywhere else because the staff team was helpful. Whether this is good enough for the price?? Sometimes good value starts with the basics, and some were just not there.
On balance, we just hope there can be improvements, for the same price, as this hotel has the making and personable hospitality style for a great and recurrent stay. For now, to early to recommand.
- George (5/5): - Not bad , decent price Cold in the room, doors extremely noisy, you hear everything…
- Kevin (8/5): Good experience -
- Catherine (10/5): -
- DevP (8/5): Great location - Great location, staff friendly and courteous.good value for money. Room was ok but small
- PETER (8/5): Just great... - Nice great hotel and the food was stunning..Many thanks foe looking after us as usual.xxx Odd parking !
- Tony (8/5): - All good thanks
- Fensome (8/5): - Location and interior The care home type beds, very uncomfortable
- Paul (10/5): I had the best experience here, all the staff were really friendly and helpful😃 -
- BOB (5/5): Location good. Free parking good. Not getting a breakfast we paid for unacceptable. - Location, free parking and included breakfast There was no breakfast, we were offered a cheese roll which was so dried out it must have been made several days before. Not even a cup of tea offered. We did not leave until after 8am so not as if we were too early. Staff said there was no breakfast because there was not enough guests to make it viable. Nonetheless we were still billed as no if we’d had a breakfast.
- Mary (5/5): - The fact I was initially offered a sofa bed, until I asked to be moved. I was given a single and very hard bed. Sadly I had a very poor nights sleep due to its hardness.
- Stephen (5/5): -
- Angela (3/5): Won’t be going back. - Location Miniscule room, with no space around double bed, which was a fold-out from the wall.
- Sylvia1941 (2/5): poor - I have been booking stays at this hotel for a few years with no problem and booked for August 2026 a year early only to be told in February 2026 that my bookings have been cancelled
I know the rooms has be reallocated to boost cost
this is disappointing especially as a regular customer
i was told my rooms were not allocated
- Pencho (6/5): -
- michael (8/5): Good hotel for the cost. - All good
- Nick (8/5): - Very clean and comfortable. I nicer option than the normal chain hotels.
- Jelena (8/5): -
- Gary (7/5): Good but could be better. - The staff.
The food. The door to room stuck, had to slam to close.
Room could have been cleaner upon arrival.
- shane (10/5): -
- Charles Uzamere (8/5): - Location is in good close to airport. Good restaurant with friendly staff Room is small. Outdated facilities. Lift takes forever to get to its destination, room phone not working. Basically needs upgrade
- JackieO (7/5): - The staff were friendly. Room ok. The shower/bathroom was very small.
- George (9/5): Good value for the money - Nice staff , good location , continue to offer free parking and people like me always will come there, I hate when the hotels charge people for parking after you book a room in. Too much fragrance on the room, a little bit uncomfortable over the night
- Kevin (5/5): Nice restaurant….rooms not so good. - Good restaurant Bedrooms need refurbishing. Bathroom needs a lot of attention. Shower don’t work properly, drain needs unblocking.
- Janet (10/5): - Great staff, great food lovely comfortable Nothing
- Isobel (10/5): -
- Paula (7/5): Prima! - Het restaurant was uitstekend! Badkamer was koud.
- Christopher (9/5): - cosy
- Diana (5/5): Would of liked more of a welcome -
- Michael (4/5): Uncomfortable - Breakfast Budget room isn't big enough for a adult. Far to small, uncomfortable and not enough space to work on laptop
- Maria (9/5): Will definitely recommend the hotel. - Friendly staff. Lovely meals. The bed was unsafe.
- Ashley (2/5): Overpriced - The staff were friendly Not enough parking for guests
Too many rooms crammed into the hotel
Felt cramped
Paint peeling off wall
Loads of lights not working
Had to turn tv off by the wall as remote wouldn’t work
Socket was upside down
- Andrew (7/5): Great for short stay. - Stayed for one night so I’d say it was perfect for that. Good friendly staff. Decent facilities. Lift worked well and is a great location for short stays. Free on site parking. Room was very small and warm as I stayed in August. Like I said it was ok for one night. Would recommend an early night as planes from the airport can be heard from about 6am and every 15 mins to. Also no breakfast on my stay available. Only a sandwich provided as breakfast was unavailable that day.
- Tom (8/5): - fantastic breakfast! Was pleasantly surprised. Room was standard, maybe a touch small but didn’t expect anything for the price!
- Andrew (8/5): A value for money overnight stay with an exceptional evening restaurant. - The amazing Italian restaurant, high quality food and presentation.
Staff really friendly and helpful. Although breakfast included, the kitchen was closed.
Offered a sandwich prepared the evening before. Rather disappointed but I suspect only a few rooms booked.
However, the Italian meal made up for it.
- Andre (8/5): -
- Navya (5/5): -
- Christopher (6/5): - Comfy single room but rather small. Unhelpful furniture ie no bedside table.
Restaurant served good food. The bar prices were exorbitant
PLUS
VERY POOR CHOICE OF BEERS AND WINE.
Cracked toilet seat
- Federica (8/5): -
- Michael (10/5): -
- Daniel (1/5): -
- Stuart (9/5): Pretty hotel, excellent food - Very pretty, boutique style hotel. Excellent restaurant Room was a little cold, but fine after I turn on the radiator
- Lynn (7/5): Pleasant - Good restaurant Small rooms
- Owen (8/5): -
- stephenandeunican (10/5): Simply the best staff and food - This hotel has the nicest and most professional staff in the world, so helpful nothing is to much trouble for them, and I've stay in most of the top hotels in the world.
Food is something special a very high standard, you can tell the chef's have passion to cook, which includes the owner. I've been staying there off and on for 18 months and never a bad dish.
Very clean.
- Martin (8/5): Good value, food is very very good, Italian. - Restaurant, food is excellent. The lift is quite noisy and seemed to be in use every morning around 5.00am
- Jonathan (4/5): Disappointing...needs attention - Bed was comfortable and a convenient location. Noisy lift hy the room. The room was tired and the ret of the hotel just quite soulless. I turned up for breakfast and was told the only option was a fry up. I would expect a few more options, but still. When it turned up, the waitress placed it on my table.woth barely a word and rushed straight off. No offer of sauces etc and she disappeared so I couldn't ask her. The beans were cold and the sausage like warm...like the service. Overall, a disappointing stay. I'd stay at a Premier Inn in the future.
- Fensome (8/5): - Location,decor,breakfast,easy țo park Bed
- Kelly (7/5): - The staff were brilliant with the kids Hotel had a lovely lobby but outside of that including our room was very run down and tired it felt like two completely different places
- Michael (10/5): - Always well looked after here👌 Everything✅️
- 149pennyv (10/5): Venue, food and staff fantastic! - We went to the Linton Hotel for a works Christmas Party and it was really great. All communication was by email / phone with Elena who was just brilliant to deal with, responsive, kind, helpful and lovely. The room we had was beautiful (I wish I had taken pictures to share, but I just didn't think to). On walking in it was immediately lovely. The food was fantastic and everyone I spoke to said it was the best hot buffet they'd had.
- Tuzinowska (10/5): -
- Richard (8/5): - Breakfast was excellent. Gap between bed and wall too narrow.
No sockets near bed for CPAP machine.
Towel rail, hanging rail in wardrobe and shelf in bathroom all too high for vertically challenged guests.
- edita (10/5): - Friendly staff ,nice location, delicious food. A large room.
