Guest Reviews
- Parastoo (10/5): - fantastic place for 4 people. The location is super awesome. communication with the host was so easy.
Nice and comfortable bed. The apartment was also very beautiful and had a lot of character.
We did enjoy it. I hope I can come back again.
- Victor (8/5): A good location in Florence - Not a very good experience in Florence. Difficult to sleep for the noice outside, very loud at night. Poor insulation, dark rooms during the day and not clean. The location is remarcable because it is convenient situate in the center. You have to throw out the trash. TV have no options. And the most important, you have to let people to know that there is not elevator which is not comfortable at all. Cleaning is very poor. Very little light in the bathroom. The bathroom curtain very dirty. Unfortunately, it is the first time that I cannot recommend a place.
- Joyce (8/5): - Communication with property managers was excellent! Good wifi! Near Ufizzi and some excellent trattorias!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was nice to be there
- William (6/5): - The property was spacious and located in a great area. The unit had old furniture and was dusty. The air conditioning unit was not working great and it made lots of noise. The maintenance crew came the next day and fixed it. The toiletries were minimal for one person and for one day. We were a family of 4 and stayed for 4 nights. They did provide after we insisted a few times. Our view was that since we paid for four people and four nights they should supply to last our stay. Other than that the location was great.
- Laura (8/5): Great location - The ups:
Wonderful location in Florence just a short walk to Ufizzi Gallery, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and train station. We walked everywhere and were able to take short rest breaks during mid day. Refrigerator was very handy.
The apartment was large and spacious, even had 2 extra twin beds. Clothes washer was available.
The Downside: Conveniences provided such as shampoo and toilet paper was not enough for the stay.
There is a service charge for cleaning, yet there’s mildew in shower and you must take out all trash or they charge additional $30 charge.
The air conditioner worked fair with 75 degree
weather, I don’t think it would be adequate with temperatures over 85.
The chairs and sofa in den are old and dusty, we did not feel comfortable sitting on them.
I reserved this on Hotels.com and expected more of a hotel service. No coffee pot and the Italian coffee was old and did not seem safe due to corrosion.
Still, a marvelous location.
- Gail (10/5): Lovely apartment. Great location!! - The apartment was lovely and spacious. We are a family of 4 with two teenage girls ages 16 & 17. It was in a great location. After completing your information online you will be provided an access code and a YouTube link for getting your key. They forgot to leave the key but promptly responded when we called and arrived within 10 minutes.
- Cherina (8/5): - Excellent communication from staff (thanks Andrea!) Good check in with good info to get around. Terrific location close to so many things. You can walk to train station and get to Rome,Venice, etc..
The apartment was fine, it is not a hotel I really miased it when we qent to other towns!towns!
- Joseph (10/5): - The apartment was clean and very convenient to the Palazzo Vecchio. The street was mostly quiet, except when souvenir carts were rolled down the street at opening and closing time. There was a good amount of room for my family of four. I would stay here again.
- Isabelle (8/5): - Everything was great! Would recommend adding pillows for better sleep and comfort.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very convenient location in the city of Florence. Comfortable up to 4 people. Shower needs an upgrade :-)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location of this property is PERFECT!! The space for a family of four provides much more privacy than a hotel would. It is very European and was fun to live in for a week. The communication from the property manager is quick and friendly. I would highly recommend staying there as a small American family.
- Amanda (8/5): - Great location. Great space. They need better furniture (couch is old and broken) and the bed needs better pillows
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My friends and I stayed a week and would go back. Know ahead that Wi-Fi is spotty in the apt and there is street noise. All problems of central city living. We loved it
- Jessica (10/5): Perfect stay! - Excellent location, easy walk to all of the essentials...perfect for families & wonderful responsive hosts!
- Jon (8/5): Great location for exploring Florence - Just minutes from uffizi, ponte vecchio and duomo made this an excellent base to explore Florence and it was good to know that at the end of a hot day we would soon be back in the comfortable apartment with good aircon, wifi and a large fridge freezer.
- Verified traveler (8/5): good stay - the apartment was very good ,
- Verified traveler (10/5): Charming Tuscan apartment - Wonderful charming apartment with beautiful decorations. Apartment was clean and very spacious for our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). Location was superb and right behind the Palazoo Vecchio. Very easy to walk to all of the wonderful nearby attractions including the Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio. We walked from the train station to the apartment and it was manageable with luggage. Very safe area. Would recommend.
- Jessa (8/5): Clean & Amazing Location -But Know Beforehand - We had an amazing time in Florence, and this apartment was our base. It is VERY clean, comfortable, and right in the middle of Duomo. The perfect location for an Italian retreat. KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK.
The location here is in the busiest, and most tourist traveled area in town. You can literally walk to everything. But with that comes the basics - There is street noise. If you are looking for a location that isn't traveled, don't book in Duomo. Only one night (Saturday) we could really hear the kids in the streets singing and such. I travel with earplugs, so it didn't bother me a bit. Other than that, the cart vendors roll their carts down the streets at 5AM. You can hear it, but its not obnoxious. Just don't expect graveyard quiet. Its not realistic.
There is a smell from the bathroom that is simply old pipes/sewer. Its immaculately clean.
This is a 2nd floor walk up. 4 half flights of stairs in an old stone building. Meaning luggage up and down. We are able bodied and 30, this didn't hinder us a bit. The apartment is cool - stone walls, stone floors, and comfortable. The heat is timed, and we didn't freeze. In the summers, I imagine this is perfect for keeping out that Mediterranean heat. It is also fully stocked with the basics (cookware, serveware). We made it home.
Emma was super nice, easy to get ahold of (even without cell service) and responded well to anything we needed. She gave us a full map of the neighborhood, and candid recommendations. We loved it.
- Frank (8/5): Great location for tourists. - Management company was very helpful with check in. Apartment was located on third floor walkup with steps so a bit difficult with suitcases. Apartment had room for 4 people with a loft overlooking bedroom with 2 single beds. Bathroom dated . We had noisy crowd in the apartment next to ours and could hear them partying. The location was good for those wishing to be in duomo area.
