• Peter (3/5): Not worth the price. - The balcony rooms were nice. Staff was unfriendly and the check in process was difficult and made us feel uncomfortable.
• Andrew (10/5): My stay in some ways exceeded my expectations. - I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff there. Also enjoyed the daily breakfast and coffee any time of the day or night. The location is excellent as well. And finally the property gets very high marks for cleanliness! Not really a complaint, I just want people to know the property prefers cash payment rather than credit cards. Booking.com has been informed of this preference but has not included it in their online description of the property. We worked out an equitable solution to this situation and the next time I stay there, I will be sure to bring ample cash/efectivo.
• Michelle (4/5): - The pool area seems nice, and most of our interactions with staff were friendly. The room was dirty - there were ants on the ground (a decent sized grouping). The hot water was not really hot and dissipated quickly. It was really stuffy - there was one window, but it didnt have a screen so we didnt open it because we already had enough bugs coming into the room. It came with a small tabletop fan and that was it. We also were approached the the 'security' guard who attempted to extort us for money. He told my partner he wasn't allowed to go on the rooftop (it was like 8pm), and told him to follow him to the lobby. In the lobby he demanded he pay him money since he was where he 'wasn't allowed to be.' Obviously he didn't pay him and we left the next day because we felt incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe. Overall it felt more like a hostel room with a private bathroom rather than a 3 star hotel.

The owner was great helping us arrange a shuttle to the airport, he even had a tuk tuk come get us to the shuttle location near by. We just had some problems with getting hot water. Cash only was inconvenient.

• Curtis (9/5): - The property is close to the busy nightlife, restaurants, coffee shops and shops but quiet and secure. The manager and staff were very accommodating and helped us with bookings and tickets. There were 3 choices for breakfast and all are very tasty.
• Ursula (4/5): Very basic - It is cheap and the staff are really nice. It’s very out of the way - a 10 minute walk to the centre of San Pedro. My room was super basic with no where to put clothes and a rather grim bathroom. It had no window so felt a bit like a prison cell. The bed was rock hard. There was noise from the attached gym and from other guests coming in.

Location is great too, away from the noise but within minutes of everything you need. Could do with a fridge and a coffee station for the rooftop. No hot showers either whist we were there.

• Sebastian (7/5): Solides Hotel in guter Lage. Personal und Dachterrasse super. - Die Lage war für uns sehr gut, etwas abseits des Trubels. Das Personalrat sehr sehr freundlich. Es gibt eine schöne Dachterrasse und einen kleinen Pool Wir haben extra ein Hotel etwas abseits gebucht um die Ruhe zu genießen. Wie auch schon in anderen Bewertungen mitgeteilt, war es von 07:00 - 21:00 sehr laut durch das angrenzende Fitnessstudio. Das Zimmer war recht klein und sehr sehr feucht. Das vorhandene Bett im gebuchten Doppelzimmer ist für zwei Personen viiiel zu klein. Auf dem Balkon befand sich auch nur ein Stuhl.

The hotel is a bit difficult to find for Uber drivers who aren't from the city. The location is great because it's quiet at night. The gym and the music and weights start very early, a comment many guests have made, which I can confirm. There are few rooms like this, and there's more peace and quiet. The pool is great for cooling off, and the breakfast is good. El gimnasio, como dicen otros viajeros, molesta un poco porque comienzan con la musica a primera hora de la mañana, no se que interes tiene el hotel con el gimnasio, para los huespedes ninguno. Pero si esta cansado duermes The gym, as other travelers say, is a bit annoying because they start playing music first thing in the morning. I don't know what interest the hotel has in the gym, but for the guests, none.

Colazione sul terrazzo con atmosfera familiare. Proprietario disponibile ad organizzare escursioni. Non riguarda direttamente l’hotel, ma sarebbe auspicabile che nella palestra si evitasse musica troppo alta e rumori eccessivi durante l’allenamento, specialmente al mattino presto. In fondo, chi va in hotel è in vacanza e ha bisogno di riposare.

The staff were all excellent and the breakfast was delicious. The pool was clean and really refreshing on hot days. The wifi was a bit patchy, but I could hotspot on my phone fine. The room was a bit warm without AC, but the rooftop was lovely and cool/breezy! No complaints!

Friendly and helpful staff. One had excellent English too. The free drinks tea, coffee and water, plus the good quality breakfast was really appreciated too. Also loved using the gym next door. Great value for the location. Shower was just warm but enough and old frames were left out next door which you see from the 1st floor rooms. We had a 2nd floor room so it didn’t bother us.

It's hard for the gps to take you there the last 2 minutes of the way, but the manager is always looking for people that are lost and all you have to is fallow him so they are very helpful. It has a beautiful terrace with 360 degree views of San Pedro which was a great place to hang out. There’s also a well-equipped gym they give you passes to which is next door to the hotel. Wish we could’ve stayed longer and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in San Pedro. Nothing. Everything was great.

• Jordyn (8/5): Probably the best place to stay in San Pedro - Great value and great location for San Pedro. The gym was great if you use it as we did every morning. The breakfast was also great. WiFi in reception area was great for our video calls. We also had laundry service done for a great price. Occasionally the water turns off for the morning but I believe this is in the entire town. The gym can be a bit much as it is open from sun up til 9pm but we did not mind as we used it.
• James (10/5): Not my favorite village to hole up in...but if you do, El Delfin is nice. Otherwise, consider S.Juan - A nice refuge if you stay in San Pedro La Laguna...and the staff are wonderful. Make sure with breakfast that you pay 20Q for the fabulous large glass of fresh-squeezed OJ. Loved having our meals up on the terrazzo.

• Rosanne (10/5): Great hotel with the kindest staff ever - The staff!!! The staff were so GENUINELY kind, helpful and hospitable. An example: we had to leave at 5 am for a shuttle and many hotels won't serve you breakfast outside their designated times, which is fair enough. Here the staff (who knew we were leaving early) approached us themselves and asked if we didn't want breakfast. I said we couldn't, we're leaving early, but that wasn't a problem. So they asked what we wanted and I said, well maybe we could get some fruit that is prepared in advance? Woke up expecting a bag with a banana and an apple or something but there were two HUGE fruit salad with yogurt, muesli and a banana waiting for us. The hotel was also nice, good room with a nice big bed, lovely rooftop terrace and nice (small) pool. We also loved the location, a bit away from the party area of the town and a bit more towards the local area.

The gym is next door and free to use as a hotel guest - it’s great! Loads of equipment and opens from 7am. The room we took had two beds, would recommend this for two people as you get lots of space. There is water, tea and coffee available in the restaurant for hotel guests which was a lovely touch. Breakfast is SO good. Huge portions and you take eat on their lovely terrace with lake and volcano views. It’s also a great place to relax in the evening when it is cooler. I left a dress from my washing and the hotel arranged it to come on a boat to pana which was over and above on service. Nothing

Bathroom faucet is loose and barely connected to the sink. Cords hanging everywhere from the TV. Paintings hung way too high. Bathroom mirror hung from a cheap, exposed piece of janky hardware. Ugly, garish lighting in the restaurant. No music in the restaurant. Details matter.
• Kamil (7/5): Basic hotel but good value for money - Friendly staff - quite location - free and good breakfast - unlimited access to coffee, tea and water - spacious room There was a noise of some pipe or something during the whole night in regular intervals (5s noise for every 30 mins). So if you are lite sleeper, you need to used to it or take ear plugs. Was missing storage place like shelfs.

The free breakfast coffe and water is a great touch and much appreciated There was no water. The shower ran so slowly u couldn’t really use it. The sink only had cold water. I think water is an issue in Guatemala in general but this was the worse for water in my 10days of travel around the country. The pool is very small and right beside the table outside the dinning room. Kind of a weird set up.

• Emma (9/5): Lovely staff and great food / views. - The staff were very friendly! Free breakfast was really good and they terrace was a lovely area to eat/relax with great views. Warm water in the shower was also a bonus as this seems to be uncommon in Guatemala. Wifi was very slow at times and didn’t work on the last day
• Inbar (10/5): Exceptional - The service was amazing , the rooms are very clean, the owner of the place really nice, in the rooftop there is the best view in San Pedro , very recommended place!
• Emma (7/5): Accom includes gym access - We booked this hotel mostly due to the free access to the gym next door which was great! The gym was very well equipped. The hotel rooms themselves are fine, basic and nothing flashy. It was nice to have a hairdryer. You do have to walk through a few ally ways at night to get back to the hotel. Most are lit up and we never felt unsafe during our stay but if you’re a solo traveler this might be something you’d like to consider. Despite what other reviews said, the restaurant for breakfast is on site, you do not need to walk down the street. The hotel does not provide soap for the shower. The hotel has a lovely terrace and it would have been nice if they did sunset drinks. The WiFi wasn’t great. The hotel provides you 3 different networks to connect too.

• Pedro (10/5): Exceptional - Hot shower (it wasn't common in Guatemala). Clean rooms and they even cleaned my room on my request. Super friendly staff. Really good breakfast. Great value for the money! Highly recommend.
• Gino (7/5): Good - The room is fine, the rooftop terrace is comfortable, quiet and the nicest part of the hotel. Gym next door (included) is a nice one. Electrically heated shower didn’t heat enough, ended up with cold shower Breakfast is at the other end of the village and this restaurant is not the best one. Options are really limited.

• Hannah (8/5): good stay - Rooms were clean, good size, gym next door free to use. I think for the price compared to other accommodation is worthy for 2+ people due to gym and free breakfast. My rating would be higher if it had hot water Sadly no hot water in the shower!!
