- Yañez (4/5): No lo aconsejo - La ubicación pero solo porque reservamos el ático y habia menos ruido en el resto de pisos el ruido debe ser bastante insoportable. Al llegar no había nadie para atendernos y tuvimos que esperar un buen tiempo y lo peor de eso es que no se puede pagar a traves de booking por lo tanto una vez allí y sin nadie para cobrar has de esperar para pagar en cash o en transferencia. Y no puedes pagar con tarjeta si no hay nadie. Hay obras en el edificio de justo al lado, pared con pared, el ruido a partir de las 8 de la mañana es insoportable. Por suerte solo fuimos una noche no una semana Y no hay ascensor.

From open air club/ bay downstairs. The amount of mould and mildew. The musky, mildewy smell of room and bedding, limited/ too worn to use cooking utensils, non working microwave. lack of security.

Transparentes los mosaicos del baño, no podías bañarte porque se ve desde afuera. De las fotos a la realidad una cosa muy distinta. No sé contaba con alguien con quién poder comunicarte para que nos brindarán la red de wifi de internet.

Que la loza y los utensilios de cocina son muy limitados. Que afuera del alojamiento hay un pub que hace ruido en la noche, hasta las 4 o 5 de la mañana, todos los días
- María de los Angeles (8/5): - Está muy bien ubicado a dos cuadras de la avenida principal de Playa del Carmen. Cerca de todos los resto y lugares para salir. El departamento es tal cual las fotos, súper amplio, limpio y cómodo, todo funciona bien, el wifi 10 puntos también. La ducha también. Un departamento muy lindo y cálido. Lo único que no me gustó fue que en la esquina hay un bar que pone la música muy muy fuerte hasta las 3/4 de la mañana, todos los días, no es solo fin de semana, fueron los 5 días que me hospedé incluyendo días de semana. Es muy difícil descansar a la noche. Tenes que esperar a ese horario para que bajen la música y puedas conciliar el sueño.

Loud noises, kitchen smell etc - We liked location because it was close to beach, walmart, mall , chedraui store, park , coco bongo, not far from ADO Bus terminal and lots of restaurants. Also they have stovetop and utensils but all plates were plastic. The accommodation has a fridge. First we didn't like poor communication from the host. Because message was sent to host few hours before our arrival where we had internet connection but then received critical message about key box code when we were not on internet wifi. Good thing there was a neighbor who helped us with Wifi connection and we were able to connect to Wifi and received host's message about keys. We also didn't like the cleanliness and condition of our room ( the room was not as described, it was shabby). Both sofas were broken. Tv's remote control didn't work properly, we had hard time with AC remote control and it wasn't working properly. We stayed on the 2nd floor ( room 12) and there was loud noise at night which disturbed our sleep. There was no hair dryer. No salt and pepper, paper tissues ( which are basic for any accommodation )

On one occasion, I needed towels, and they were able to accommodate me and get them after hours. There was a bit of a smell coming out from the bathroom. The management sent the cleaner and someone to check and it got better.

- Franziska (6/5): Zentral gelegene Unterkunft, aber verwohnt und schmuddelig - Sehr gute Lage im Zentrum in unmittelbarer Umgebung zahlreiche Restaurants und Supermärkte. Schlafzimmer waren beide in Ordnung mit funktionierender Klimaanlage und bequemen Betten. Die Fotos vermittelten ein helles, lichtdurchflutetes Appartement mit schönen/modernen Möbeln. Aber leider war es eher das Gegenteil: Beim ersten Betreten unserer Wohnung sofort ein auffälliger muffiger Geruch, verflecktes Sofa, großer Wasserschaden im Wohn- bzw. Esszimmer an der Decke mit Schimmelbildung. Badezimmer ohne Lüftung, daher auch feucht mit Schimmelbildung. Leider enttäuschend und wirklich nur für wenige Übernachtungen zumutbar.

Las instalaciones perfectas, la cocina con lo necesario aunque no la usamos, tal vez para familias hagan falta más recursos. Con respecto al ruido del bar de abajo, es un bar que está al lado de la residencia, con música fuerte los fin de semana, pero con el cansancio del día ni lo percibis, en caso de ser una personas con problemas para dormir con unos tapones se soluciona. La zona diez puntos, cerca de la playa, a una cuadra de la quinta avenida. El lugar cuenta con escaleras, para tener en cuenta en caso de tener alguna dificultad. Los anfitriones muy atentos a las necesidades. Precio calidad excelente. Hermoso y recomendable. Todo perfecto.

- Sascha (1/5): dirty, run-down, unfriendly, dangerous - That the day had finally come when I could check out Unpleasant owners, the apartment is filthy, reeks of dead animals, and is incredibly noisy because there's a bar downstairs playing music until 4:00 a.m. A cleaning lady comes every few days, and the towels are changed only every few days. It's filthy to the point of being dilapidated. It's disgusting even to think about cooking in the kitchen. The mattresses are worn out, and you can't sleep. Never again. Zero stars. Seriously, don't stay here. I've heard about robberies at night, where money and electronics are stolen. The owner doesn't care! After all, the money has already been paid. 🤢🤢👮♂️👮♂️🤢 I've filed a complaint with Booking.com. The owners and managers should be ashamed.

- Hastings (10/5): Great location, good stay. - Casa Luca was great. We only needed it for one night before continuing on to Cozumel, but the location and the stay were great. The apt was comfortable and it was exactly what we were looking for.

- Santiago (4/5): - La ubicación en pleno centro, cerca de la playa La habitación es grande El ruido del compresor del aire de la habitación de al lado era insoportable. Arrancaba a cualquier hora (incluso 5 am), tuvimos que dormir con tapones de oido y asi y todo lo escuchabamos. Ademas, el ruido del bar de abajo es altisimo hasta las 2 am. El colchón necesita un cambio urgente, se sentian todos los resortes y estaba ondulado hacia los costados. No hay ascensor, hay que subir 4 pisos por una escalera muy chica.

- Marcia Tatiana (8/5): - Tengo que destacar la predisposición de Leonardo siempre dispuesto ayudar. Lo que más nos gustó fue la cercanía a la Av principal y a la playa. Sumado a la cuadra donde está ubicado es una porción de Amsterdam. Eso nos encantó. Pero yo viaje con niños grandes. No sé si lo recomiendo para viajar con niños muy chiquitos, por el ruido. Nada que opacara nuestra estadia. Si saber que hay que subir escaleras y el bullicio es importante todas las noches.

Tuvimos que estar pasando de red en red porque una se caía entonces debías pasarte a otra! Incómodo el tema de Internet con lo útil que es hoy!!

- Thai_hoochie (8/5): Great value for a comfortable stay in Centro - Nicely appointed, bright apartment. Comfy bed. Kitchen is suitable for light cooking/meal prep only. Great location with a 7-11 and an Oxxo steps away, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Wifi wasn't high speed, had trouble streaming. Every apartment/floor has the same WiFi password — didn't feel too secure.

- Camila (2/5): - Nada. El departamento no representa lo que muestran las fotos. No tiene terraza de uso comun como dice la descripcion. No solo que el departamento es horrible, sino que tenia olor constante a CLOACA. Muy asqueroso. No se podia respirar dentro. Me parecio super inseguro. Muchas aberturas (puertas/ventanas) con dudosas cerraduras y comentarios de robos por usuarios anteriores que hicieron que desconfiara 100% de todo durante mi estadia. Y para agregar algo peor. Nunca nos recibio nadie, tuvimos que llamar a un numero de telefono para que nos indiquen como ingresar al departamento, lo mismo a la hora de irnos. No habia nadie.mientras hicimos el chek out, avisamos que nos ibamos y dejamos el departamento en perfectas condiciones. A las horas nos llaman para consultarnls por un tleevisor roto y nos culparon a nosotros. Totalmente fuera de lugar. No lo recomiendo para nada, no vayan!!!! Y booking deberia bajarle el puntaje de manera urgente!!!!!!

- Marcelo (8/5): Amplio departamento con buena ubicación y precio, pero en 5to piso sin elevador - El Departamento está bien equipado, muy limpio y amplio. También muy bien ubicado. El Departamento está en un 5to piso sin elevador. Así que resulta muy cansado estar subiendo las escaleras, sobre todo con maletas y compras de supermercado. Las TVs (sala y recamara) funcionan con streaming y no es facil acceder a los canales.
- Darian (9/5): Great value for the money. - It’s in a great central location, the room was very spacious and the hot water on demand was amazing! The bed is bagged. It’s basically a springy mat at this point. It wasn’t a great sleep mostly because of that. There’s some loud music we could hear despite being 4 floors up but it wasn’t too bad.

- Max (5/5): Pensarlo 2 veces antes de hospedarse aquí - Lugar muy céntrico, muy cerca de la 5ta, Buenos accesorios para cocinar y espacio muy grande Es un lugar más para mochileros o gente que viaja con muy poco equipaje, no hay elevador y llegamos de un viaje de trabajo muy cansados y con mucho equipaje nos tocó subir los 4 niveles de escaleras con maletas pesadas, y lo otro muy malo es que estábamos en una habitación hasta el fondo donde se supone no se escucha nada de ruido, pero el bar que está debajo del hotel no deja dormir nada, el volumen es altísimo, pude descansar después de las 4am :/

Tiene una obra enfrente y un bar abajo asi que no es muy silencioso, se esuchan gritos y musica hasta muy tarde y respecto de la obra, máquinas de noche y madrugada que algunos días no nos dejaron descansar. Le Faltan elementos de cocina.

- Edgar Arturo (9/5): Habitaciones amplias con muy buena ubicación - Ubicación al centro de todo lo que quieras hacer en playa del Carmen. Habitación con gran espacio, pequeña cocina y refrigerador, A/A funcional, área de estancia y comedor, bañó amplio. Pequeña terraza con vista al edificio de alado, muy iluminado. A pesar de tener un modem en la habitación no fue posible que me pasaran la clave para conectarme a el, y tenía solo la señal general que llegaba muy pobre a la habitación. El colchón ya está listo para cambiarlo, ya dió todo lo que tenía que dar. Me podría quejar de subir las escaleras hasta el tercer piso, pero solo eran un par de veces al día.

- Angeli Rodriguez (8/5): Buena opcion para llegar a dormir y ahorrar para gastar en tours y otras actividades. - La ubicacion es muy buena esta cerca de la 5ta sin estar en medio de la fiesta y tiene un oxxo y un 7ven justo al frente por lo que puedes salir y comprar cosas sin lo caro de otros lugares, tambien se pone un puestito de comida argentina a 100 pesitos hamburguesas y tortas super bueno, es totalmente independiente una vez tienes tu llaves sales y entras sin problemas y esta acondicionado para tener buena estancia sobre todo si solo llegas a dormir aunque tienes todo para cocinar si lo deseas. No se hizo limpieza en los 4 dias, y la habitacion olia un poco a humedad al llegar el primer dia, la terraza es minima y esta frente a un arbol grande en realidad no se disfruta mucho pero igual con el calor no abriamos la puerta asi que no es tan relevante. Mejorar un poco la limpieza y agregar una vela o aromatizante a las habitaciones
- Lima (10/5): - Viajo mucho y pocas veces encuentro un lugar que combine tan bien calidez y comodidad. En Casa Luca me sentí bienvenida desde el primer momento. Todo tiene mucho estilo, la energía del lugar es tranquila y eso hizo que realmente pudiera desconectarme. Para mí, lo más valioso fue sentir que había gente disponible y amable sin ser invasiva. Esa mezcla lo convierte en un alojamiento único.

Las habitaciones son amplias, limpias y con todos los detalles que necesitas para estar cómoda, desde buena iluminación hasta camas súper cómodas. La ubicación es ideal: cerca de la playa y de los lugares principales. El ambiente es muy tranquilo, perfecto para descansar después de recorrer Playa del Carmen.

Em baixo possui um restaurante e um bar mas não atrapalharam em nada nossa estadia. Só recomendo usar usar repelente pois do lado de fora tinham alguns mosquitos (no quarto não tinha). Foi incrível

We NEVER saw that on any of the reviews unfortunately because it is my Criteria No1 for selecting my lodging. We had a very difficult few months, and this trip was all about Rest & Restore. We left the property within an hour and went somewhere else super quiet. 2- at arrival, they tried to make me pay again saying they didn't get the paiement..
- Cristina (4/5): Perfect location, lacks in cleanliness & services! - The location was perfect The level of cleaning was awful! Our room had spider webs and it was dusty! We had a towel on top of a painting for whatever reason! Towels were missing! Toilet paper, when we arrived had not been changed and found an old empty carton of paper, when we asked we were told some would be brought but that never happened! Cleaning services are non existent! We were there for 4 days and no one cleaned our room even though we had specifically asked to have our room cleaned! We kept on being told that it would be cleaned! The apartment has not been updated in a very long time! Bathroom needs a complete do over! The shower was rusty, the toilet was so old and was peeling, it looked like someone had taken a dump! The kitchen in the same conditions if not worse. The window covers have not been washed in years! They were yellow not white! The balcony, which they call Terrance had not been washed! I did not expect anything special but I did not expect this level of carelessness and lack of service! The location absolutely amazing! The only good thing in my opinion! Be aware, no elevator, it is all stairs! Someone with big bags and luggage might have difficulty going up and someone who needs an elevator this place is not for you!

With those old hotels you must always Take a look of your room because If there's something wrong they will not refund you! As soon as I got the apartment I notice no air conditioning and no tv reception It was already over price!!! When I contact the manager only got replied the next day in the afternoon. And when they decided to fix the air conditioning was an hour before my checkout. Great idea by the manager 👏🏼

We were checked into a room that was already occupied, and someone was sleeping in it. They showed us a different room, which was nothing like the photos on booking.com. Felt rundown and very badly maintained. All bathroom fittings had rust on them. The staff wasn't there when needed. Beds were hard and no proper lighting in room.

Best luck to the next people. - I’ve stood at CasaLuca for the past four years and always had a pleasant experience. Always had great staff who were kind and attentive to anything. I need it this time it was not that. I do not like the fact that I couldn’t lock my door at night. Even though maintenance did attempt to fix it one day that’s all it lasted. Safe had no lock that worked as well. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Emiliano, who was very kind and let me put my bags in my room about 30 minutes early, which was very nice. When I returned to my room to change and go walk the town, we attempted to lock our door and again that’s when we came to the conclusion that the lock isn’t working , that maintenance will be right on it as soon as possible and he will make sure that nobody will come up. We felt comfortable leaving the next day. Anna was there and was not friendly or helpful. It was more of an inconvenience to her maintenance man seemed like he just was about his work and attempted to help. Never got lock to work and my husband I had to walk around with everything.

- Liza (9/5): Amazing stay in the heart of Playa del Carmen - The location is amazing, 2 minute walk from Quinta Avenida and super close the the beach. Lots of great restaurants around. The apartment was very clean and has everything you need for a long stay with lots of storage space. The staff were also very friendly and super accommodating when we had a late check in. The only thing is that all of the apartments are up a few sets of stairs, so if you’re staying in the 4th floor apartment it’s a bit tiring. Also there is a bar downstairs that is a bit loud with music at night but we weren’t disturbed with the doors and windows closed.
