- Sari (8/5): - Our stay was amazing. The only thing is that the food buffet needs enhancement. Better and wider variety of food needed. The room bedding mattress or pillows needs improvement. The mattress wasn’t the best and the pillows were so soft. We asked for better pillows but we got similar ones to the ones we have. Other than that our stay was impeccable.

- Sian (10/5): Prima Life Makadi - an excellent stay - This hotel was a 10/10 for me. i booked for my partners 30th birthday as a present and it completely met my expectations. All staff are welcoming and friendly at the resort, from reception, cleaning staff, hospitality, animation team, security etc. they try and help you with any queries you may have from the moment you check-in. this hotel also has its own private beach and a huge central pool which runs down the centre of the resort, with a swim up bar and different areas of depths depending on your preference. The beach is decked with complimentary sunbeds / umbrellas with toilets nearby. we never struggled to get a sunbed, you dont have to put yout towel out early and have a variety of options to sit by the pool. there are also a few outdoor bars which serve food and drink in close proximity to both the pool and beach front. The rooms are also incredibly spacious, i booked a standard room and you can see from the image below how large the bed is + all the additional floor space. the buffet restaurant also swaps up a theme each night (Egyptian, Italian etc) so theres loads of variety + 4 al a carte restaurants to choose from. the hotel itself is further away from any amenities, its 30mins from Hurghada centre but the hotel does run evening shuttles for a marginal price (7 euros approx). they also run their own excursions from the lobby

This is my 7th year here, and I can’t describe how happy I am with the warm reception, the cleanliness of the rooms, the swimming pool, the beach, and the sea. Special thanks to the reception team, especially Mr. Abo ElKhair, Mr. Ahmed, Mr. Ashraf, and Mr. Mohammed, as well as all the hotel managers for their outstanding service. The best Animation team you can ever meet, very talkative, smily and all day working team leaded by Safi. Thanks Safi, Kamilia ( Koko) , Donia , Kristeen, Moody, Sonic, Bebo and Lucy for all your hard work, we all had a great time and the kids enjoyed all the activities and shows. Talking about the restaurant, you will eat the most delicious Egyptian bread baked by the kindest lady Om Hashim, you can’t miss it every meal. Thanks a lot for everyone in the restaurant for the yummy food, thanks all the chefs and waiters who’ve worked hard all the time to cook such an amazing wide variety food and keep the restaurant nice and clean and helping everyone for anything needed. The pools are really good and satisfactory for all ages, the beach is a piece of heaven where you can enjoy snorkelling and see loads af sea creatures near the beach

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the resort is very quiet, and walkable. The private beach is also very good, although a bit small. Shoutout to Amr and the manager of the hotel, who were very accomodating, and helped me a lot during my stay. Would highly recommend!!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfy Stay - There is a lot of options in prima life Makadi that cannot be missed starting from the amazing pool to the beach and of course the main restaurant that offers a lot of tasty varieties as well as the pool and aqua bars. And the energetic animation team with their daily shows. The resort landscape is very relaxing as well and the maintenance team is fixing any issues instantly they keep the property in a good condition. The house keeping team is keeping rooms very clean and in a good smell. Lastly, I would like to thank Mr. Ashraf from the reception for his eagerness and keeness to make guests stay a comfy one.

- Mohamed (2/5): - While the coral reefs and marine life are truly breathtaking and superior to other resorts nearby, the overall experience was disappointing. The resort was extremely overcrowded during breakfast and dinner, creating a chaotic and stressful atmosphere. I suffered a severe gut infection (fever, vomiting, diarrhea) likely from the smoked salmon — raising concerns about food safety. The room’s AC unit released a strong sewage odor every time we returned, and a similar smell was noticeable around the main pool and hedges, possibly due to the use of sewage water for irrigation. The main pool was also visibly unclean. Pest control was poor — the presence of mosquitoes and lizards around rooms and public areas was uncomfortable and constant. Staff interactions were highly inconsistent; while some were kind, others were unprofessional or outright rude. Entertainment was intrusive rather than enjoyable, with loud music and an animation team that seemed exhausted and disheartened, despite their forced cheerfulness. It felt like the noise followed us everywhere, which made relaxation impossible. This feedback is shared not to criticize, but to highlight areas in need of immediate improvement. - Mina (4/5): - Perfect beach and pool ,very poor service and food 1- Employees are poorly trained with no smile ,the bartender at the lobby made feel that he is from the banned brotherhood,I asked him for an alcoholic drink and he whispered saying “El 7aram is obvious and el helal is obvious “ الحرام بين والحلال بين 2- food is below average as well with very very poor desserts.omlette egg is half cooked ,shrimp is over grilled .nothing is to local or multinational standard However feteer on the beach and fresh baked bread was just perfect 3- animation team was good However,I wouldn’t recommend it and would never go there again. 4- they don’t respect Egyptians ,they respect only foreigners. - peter (10/5): - The hotel is so good. all the staff was so friendly and helpful especially Mr Abu El Khair at the reception, And the view of the room was pool view.. so pretty and the room was new and clean. The beach also so good and sandy and has very amazing coral reefs and the snorkeling experience is so great there.. And everyday there was an amazing pizza on the beach made by Chef Gaber really really amazing Napolitano pizza maker.. and the program of the activities is so amazing every moment you have something to do and the animation team is so active and the evening program is so pretty too every day something different. We like it and it's our first time and we're coming back sooon for sure.

The treatment of all the staff,all the reception staff,all the restaurants staff, the house keeping staff, the bars staff, the design of the hotel, the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel and the beach, and the organization of the hotel, especially Mr. Asim, the reservations manager, Mr. Obama, the restaurant manager, Mr. Muhammad, Mr Mahmoud, Mr Abdullah from the restaurant, the bar staff, and the reception staff. This is the reason for my repeated visits to this exceptional hotel. It's the third visit.

Check-in was smooth (done in 5 mins), and the helpful front desk staff gave us a free upgrade to pool-view rooms. Rooms were ready by 1:30 PM after lunch. 🛏️ Rooms: Spacious, clean, modern furniture, excellent AC, and daily housekeeping with restocked essentials. 🍽️ Food: High-quality, varied meals. Breakfast included smoked salmon. Beachside lunch featured fresh pizza, grilled items, pasta, and Egyptian pastries. Dinners had themed nights: grilled lamb, kofta, hawawshi, shrimp, duck, steak, and more. Big plus: food is available from 7 AM–1:30 AM—perfect for families with kids. 🌊 Beach & Activities: Beautiful sea, ideal for snorkeling with coral reefs right off the shore. Sandy area is great for kids. Only downside: narrow beachfront and limited sunbeds—go early. Aqua park was fun and not crowded. Animation team offered nightly entertainment. 👥 Staff & Facilities: Friendly, professional staff, good Wi-Fi across the hotel, and 24/7 beverage service. ✅ Overall: We loved our stay—clean rooms, great food, helpful staff, and fun activities. Highly recommended, especially for families.
