- Sanjay (8/5): The staff was very apologetic about my inconvenience, but I would request them to fix this problem at its source so it d - Great location, modern room The hot water in the loo wasn’t working properly. It eventually got fixed but took multiple attempts by engineering to get it right.

- Henry Jeremy (8/5): I doubt we will be going back - Great location Staff were rather stiff and not very warm. Restaurant staff were fine. Bags took forever to get up to room. Transport company was terrible. Charged extra for waiting more then the designated time at airport despite knowing well that it takes more then 45mins to disembark plane and get through their very inefficient airport.
- Nick (5/5): Not worth the Mandarin Oriental name - Decent Breakfast Horrid checkin. No facility. The door wouldnt close

- MDAP (10/5): Dietrich, Dickens Yes. Now it is time for You. - Zurich is no stranger to perfection, and the arrival of the Mandarin Oriental Savoy continues that tradition. From the moment one arrives, one is wrapped in the embrace of perfect indulgence. Those who remember the old Savoy Hotel will welcome the new life and light that exudes from the 185-year-old bones of what was Zurich's first grand city hotel. Whilst Franz Liszt, Charles Dickens and Marlene Dietrich may have been regulars of the Baur en Ville, there will be present-day characters who will be calling the new Mandarin Oriental Savoy home. It is a hotel that bathes in the glory of its history, whilst offering today's modern traveler every conceivable comfort - with just a dash of eccentricity. The grandness of the old hotel remains, the staircase now illuminated with a stunning contemporary chandelier cascading down its spiral core, as modern art by Swiss and international artists gives colour and texture to the walls and rooms. The faux fireplace in the entrance needs reconsideration - this is Switzerland, and the ambience of a roaring fire is never out of vogue. Service from the moment you arrive is faultless; this is, after all, a Mandarin Oriental. Whisked to one's room, the elegance of the property is evident from the lifts, corridors, and in the rooms. Upgraded to a corner suite, one cannot be anything but impressed. The design is contemporary yet comforting, with marble blending seamlessly with wood and textiles that invite you to relax. The bathroom features an indulgent deep bath, along with a large rain shower, and includes the expected high-quality toiletries and gorgeous, fluffy towels. The bed is divine, and the linens are made from the highest quality Egyptian cotton. As we were tired from a long day of travel, we chose to dine in the suite. Ordering a Wiener Schnitzel and traditional Carbonara, along with a sinful dessert, we were not disappointed. My Schnitzel was perfectly cooked, and the Carbonara was superbly executed, the traditional way, without cream. After a perfect night's sleep, we awoke to the delicate rumble of Zurich's famous trams bustling below on the Paradeplatz. The view from the suite's balconies offers a perfect sense of being in the heart of Zurich, with a short walk to anywhere one needs to be. Breakfast was served in the hotel's Savoy Brasserie & Bar and offered an excellent and extensive buffet as well as à la carte options. Service was attentive, and again, the best of the Mandarin Oriental was on display. The old Savoy may have gone, but its tradition of offering the pinnacle of service and luxury lives on, with the stunning modernity of the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich, blending with its history.

- Abdulmajeed (6/5): Second stay at Mandarin Oriental Zurich – great location but below expectations - الموقع ممتاز وقريب من المعالم الرئيسة.
The location is excellent and very close to the main attractions.
This was my second stay at Mandarin Oriental Zurich, but unfortunately it was not as good as my first one. The room was much smaller, and there were no special benefits or recognition for returning guests, which made the experience below my expectations.
- YoshiDus (10/5): Outstanding! MO as it’s best. - We had a truly wonderful one night stay at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy Zurich. The location could not been better, almost everything worthwhile seeing as a tourist in Zurich is within a short walking distance. The hotel is stunning and you notice immediately that Management by Dominik Reiner together with the whole team really go the extra mile for ultimate guest satisfaction. That was MO experience as it’s best. Check in by Mrs. Zoe and Mr. Werling was impeccable. Thankfully our room was ready even despite our very early arrival at 9:30 am. We had the great luck to be upgraded to a junior suite. The suite and all public spaces are extremely taste- and thoughtfuly decorated and immaculate clean. With just 80 rooms and suites the hotel is small enough for a luxury boutique style vibe but on the other hand not too small like the Mandarin Oriental Munich, where it can get pretty tough if a certain room category isn’t available any more. We really enjoyed our short stay very much and both aggreed that Mandarin Oriental Savoy is among our personal top 10 MO properties worldwide. One tip: please make sure to visit the stunning rooftop bar for some drinks or a light meal, if weather permits. We hope to return soon and we are also looking forward meeting Mrs. Zoe again at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok this October.

- HonestAdviceNow (6/5): Avoid.. construction till end of 2026 next door, so loud no sleep in afternoon. Better more established hotels in Zurich - what a shock to arrive and find out next door they are doing construction in a building they are renovation inside and out... until 2027. So loud that the vibrations come write though the windows ,, so no sleep in the afternoon if you need to nap.
Roof top badly designed .. as you sit .. you dont see the city... the staff is not the best service.. and menu is limited to small bites.
Reception is good service, but limited French .
Restaurant in Hotel is not that chic... and cozy, but the lobby tea room is nice, but small so usually full.. so limited space always.
For the price I would certainly look into other 5 star hotels in Zurich.
Its not a pass for me at that price

- 714oguzt (10/5): Beautiful Zürich - I recently stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy Hotel in Zürich, one of the newest additions to the Mandarin Oriental portfolio in Europe. The location is truly exceptional, and the hotel features beautifully designed rooms with refined décor and rich amenities. My room overlooked Münsterhof, offering a calm and pleasant atmosphere.
The breakfast setup was fine, but it didn’t quite live up to the high standards typically associated with Mandarin Oriental. Perhaps the hotel still needs a bit of time to achieve full operational fine-tuning.

- dlaheru1 (10/5): Visit to Zurich May 12-14, 2025 - We had the great pleasure of visiting Zurich (for the first time) as a family party of 5 May 12-14, 2025. we had the great fortune and privilege of staying at the Mandarin Orinetal Savoy. The Hotel is very easily accessible via tram from the main train station (in fact our stop was just in front of the hotel on ParadePlatz)
we were met by Kathrin at the front desk. We had booked two rooms (superior double and a corner suite with a balcony) Her incredibly warm welcome and kindness as well as her helpful insights about the features of the hotel as well as the neigborhood were well appreciated. Like many in Switzerland, she speaks multiple languages (as an aside I always find this incredible when I travel and can only wish that I was fluent in multiple languages myself) My mother speaks Dutch fluently and was thrilled that Kathrin also speaks Dutch after having studied there. We were then met by Roberta. I would have been of course very happy to stay in the rooms that I had booked. I am very fortunate indeed to have stayed in a number of MO properties and even more fortunate to have Pearl status. However, I dont expect anything other than knowing this will be an incredible stay. I really couldnt believe that Roberta had upgraded both rooms many times over. This was really an experience of a lifetime to stay in the Presidential suite and I and my family will never forget this generous gesture by Roberta and her team. She also shared with me that MO has fun app that allows one to not only see how many properties that you have stayed and for how many days, but also there are practical chat communications that are answered in real time (I have already used this app to book a future stay in Oct 2025) Needless to say that both rooms were unbelievable and overlooked Paradeplatz- the Presidential suite has its own steam bath. just exceptional. it was fun just to go out on to the terrace and see how busy the city is.
the breakfast buffet was also outstanding with delicious pastries and breads (even an actual honeycomb with fresh honey) and fruits and yogurts
we had Frederico both mornings and would like to thank him for his attentive service at breakfast. My family did a fair bit of shopping and Alessandro and Joseph helped us discover some of Zurich’s best shopping spots (including a second hand store for sports coats and ties ) with their expert suggestions.
we were very sad to check out but again met Roberta as we were leaving. Thank you again Roberta! the city was incredible as was the hotel but the staff at MO Savoy clearly made this trip
- Zeki (7/5): Good -

- OCMonk (10/5): A Spectacular Luxury Hotel in Zurich - We had two separate stays at the hotel in October 2024, both of which were wonderful. The design of the hotel is modern yet warm and the hotel is perfectly situated in Zurich. Before our stays, we let the hotel know that we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and they had a bottle of champagne and a chocolate cake waiting for us in our room upon arrival. When we asked that the concierge make a last-minute reservation at one of the hotel's restaurants, we arrived at the restaurant that evening with a Happy Anniversary card signed by the chef and various hotel employees. It was a very sweet gesture and we were very impressed by their various thoughtful gestures throughout our stay. Remarkably, when we returned to the hotel a week later (on our way back from Geneva), the doorman even greeted us by name.
We had such a remarkable time at the Mandarin Oriental Savory, Zurich (and previously at the Mandarin Oriental Luzern property) that we have become diehard fans of the Mandarin Oriental hotel chain.

- Mohammed (10/5): Unforgettable trip - Everything was fabulous and amazing. The staff, location and the hotel atmosphere. Really we enjoyed our time there. Special thank to the reception who helped us to upgrade our room without any issues. Thanks a lot and see you soon ♥️ Nothing
- shawnr369 (10/5): What all hotels should be - No where near enough stars to rate this hotel. From the moment you get out of the car you realize you have arrived at next level luxury. The bellman is prompt and so polite , at check in they know you by name when you arrive. Check in is quite easy and very quick. Upon check in the receptionist escorts you to your room which is where you will be astounded at the level of luxury. Out of this world. They go over in detail every aspect of the room which is just spectacular. The bed beyond comfortable and the amenities inside will amaze you. Now the entire hotel staff. Next level excellence . The breakfast in the morning is spectacular. Fresh breads and a full menu of hot foods as well. We have stayed in many hotels in our travels and many very nice ones . This place has set the bar now forexpectations for future stays. The location is in the center of old town and ha ver y close access to any and everthing you could want or need . Just an overall exceptional experience from arrival to departure. To the incredible staf of this fantastic place, thank you for your unmatched service. We will definitely be staying here in the future. The place is a must stay if you are in Zurich. See you guys soon

Very staff member was superb. Savoy restaurant served great food and staff was excellent again. Could not find one fault.
- atillap2025 (10/5): Incredible Hotel and Service - Hotel, rooms, staff, restaurants incredible. The staff is amazing, they are always making sure all the guests had everything they needed.
I would like to extend a special thank you to Mr.Shashvat for going his job above and beyond. His warm hospitality, professionalism, and attention to all details made our experince woow. His has true MO spirit.
Additionally, Mr. Werling and his front office team were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service.
- Gabriel (10/5): - Attentive, courteous, personal service.
Location of hotel and
The room confort were perfect…
- Kar (8/5): Very good -
- Vida (7/5): The hotel probably needs to still “iron out a few creases” but their staff is very nice and willing. - No breakfast!
Wonderful bathroom even though it was small. -No alcoholic drinks in the minibar.
-I had to call the Front Desk for a shower cap. Nothing offered in the bathroom.
- Culture20493287556 (10/5): Hotel feb 2025 - The doorman Alfredo was great , hope he gets promoted, the hotel offers great service as well,
Zurich is a city in Switzerland that's known for its financial district, museums, and universities. It's also a major economic and cultural center.
- Faysal (8/5): Very good -
- Daryl (10/5): Great location, amazing staff - From walking through the door you well welcomed, amazing staff, super helpful I requested some dining locations in where they said they would walk me around the corner to personally show my options, never had that ever in traveling. The bar and restaurant staff were perfect. The location was great for walking. I read the reviews prior to going so I have to agree that the room was super small, but clean, comfortable and well appointed. I was by myself with just a carry on so it was fine for me, if I had larger luggage and another person with me it would have been another story. Note there is a hub for trains just to the side of the building, so like others it is loud and goes on forever, did not effect my stay but I could see how others would be not happy with it. Overall I loved it
- Carteblanchetravel (10/5): Luxe and the City - The best location in town is, of course, the...Mandarin Oriental, which opened just one year ago. The hotel is both chic and contemporary, with a rather intimate ambience. I loved the lounge area, where the happy few come for an afternoon coffee or an evening aperitif.... Zurich at last has a palace of international stature, injecting a little competition into the local luxury hotel scene, which has been a little sleepy since...
- Bhavesh (9/5): Superb -
