• Jenny (8/5): A convenient location for sleeping in Seattle - As advertised, the property is in a quiet neighbourhood, and the room was meticulously clean. The bed was comfortable and padded and we slept well! The property is conveniently located near the highway and Northgate mall and the light rail transit line. There is a park around the corner. There is a full kitchen (though equipped only for minimal cooking) and two modest eating areas. Although we interacted with the property managers only by text and email, all our interaction was polite, helpful, and timely. This is a bare-bones guest house that provides the basics: bed, bath, bedding, two pillows, bath and hand towels, liquid soap, single light bulb, a few hangers, a small table and one chair. It’s best suited for those needing only a place to sleep and shower — which was our situation. We always appreciate bedside lights, a luggage rack, and extra pillows. Although our stay was quiet the property has eight rooms available and is poorly sound-proofed. It could be noisy with less thoughtful fellow guests or during busy times.

• LORELLE (8/5): Lovely quite stay in the big city....will be back! - Bed was comfortable, enjoyed the company of others in the home. Beautiful walk-in shower with skylight! No traffic noise. Easy access to the interstate and my training location. Hosts were extremely helpful when I thought I had misplaced my room key. Everything was clearly communicated. The kitchen could use a few more pots and pans, and general equipment. For sure please add wine glasses and a corkscrew!

• Alexander (7/5): - The bed was comfortable, and the staff and instructions were great. There's no sound proofing in the house so you quite literally hear everyone else and what they're doing. Few nights of really rough sleep due to other people in the house being loud or being up in the middle of the night.

• TamWana (5/5): Just okay for one night - The property has more of a hostel style setup. The room was clean and generally well maintained. The overall cleanliness of the place was impressive. Communication with the owners was not satisfactory. My check-in time was 4 PM, but the door code was only sent at 3 PM. Since I was driving from Canada and didn’t have cell service or internet, I didn’t receive the message. When I rang the door calling bell, the person I spoke to said they didn’t have my information, even though I provided my booking number. The room was extremely cold upon arrival, and despite knowing our check-in time, the heater wasn’t turned on in advance. The insulation was poor, and we could hear loud noises from other rooms throughout the night. The floor tiles were also very creaky, especially when someone used the bathroom. The next morning, around 11:05 AM, a lady loudly knocked on every door shouting “Check out! Check out!”which was quite unpleasant.

• Michelle (8/5): - There’s no front desk, we got the keypad info from the owner the day of our check in. The room was small, but was in good shape and the bathroom was nice and clean. The communal kitchen space was clean and neat. Walls were a bit thin, so you could hear talking in other rooms/in the shared spaces. Overall, a good space to stay for the price!

• Melissa (6/5): Quite and comfortable. NOT very clean - Clean is not the title that I would give this place. It was comfortable. Check in and out was very smooth and free parking was great! I did notice some stains on the bedding and a bad ant problem in the kitchen. I was staying here because I was sleeping at the UW hospital while my dad was sick. I really needed a good night rest and a homemade meal. I bought a few items to make dinner but ALL of the plates utensils and pans were greasy, which I rewashed. I was looking for a drinking cup and could not find a single one, I used a old soda can for water. Besides the ants in the kitchen, dirty dishes and curly hairs or beard clippings here and there in the bathroom, the place was clean-ish. Maybe I'm splitting hairs but if the first word for the room is CLEAN, my expectation was as such.

With the window open, it was the the quietest place to stay ever. It would have been nice to have a second chair and folding luggage rack in the room.

• Melissa (7/5): Not So Quiet... - It seems quiet at first and in a safe neighborhood. There is ample space and easy parking. The front door doesn't automatically lock, so it left me wondering if all the other people staying in the house would a) realize that and b) remember to lock it. The larger issue is that there is no one here to monitor or mitigate issues. We were awoken multiple times in the night between 1 and 3am by the people in the room next to us coming and going. They stomped, spoke loudly, triggered the hallway lights...it was not a restful night of sleep at all, but we had no one to call about it and in this day and age, I wouldn't dare approach drunk people with a request for quiet myself.

However, there was a dirty towel left on the bathroom floor, and the ventilation wasn’t great—I had to prop the door open after my shower because it got so hot. The bed was comfortable, but there’s no air conditioning in the bedroom, so the standing fan was a big help.

I'm pretty sure it was an unusually hot day for the area. Too hot and stuffy for us. (80+ degrees). We were uncomfortable, hot and tired. In cooler weather it would have been fine. No cooling other than a fan which just moved hot air around... It was cooler outside than in so we opened the window... But it was still miserable. We could hear others but weren't bothered by it as it didn't awaken us. The heat was our only complaint.

• Anna (7/5): Good value for money - - budget price - nice staff - clean - comfortable bed - 25 minute walk from the Nortwest station, but using Lime electric scooters cas speed it up - you can literally hear everything in your room - there are more appartments in the building and no staff is present there. So the conditions mainly depend on how your neighbours behave… - theoretically you have a park place assigned, but it happens that other people park there (I didn’t have a car, so it was not a big issue)

This was relegated to a minor concern when I found that the large, blurred window in the bathroom had no curtain, and I would be basically providing a low resolution view of me using the toilet or shower to the neighbors.
• Ashlynn (10/5): - Honestly, one of the best places I've ever stayed in! We had the king with the private bathroom - The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Having a designated parking spot was wonderful to have and it was a very quiet area to stay. We did not get to take full advantage of the kitchen aside from the microwave but upon looking around they truly had everything you needed to cook! I have family with food restrictions and this would be the first place I would ever recommend.
