• Terri (9/5): Our group enjoyed our stay at the villa very much - The Villa is beautiful and spacious for our group of 6 friends travelling through Italy together. The grounds are quite lovely. The host was attentive and helpful. The stove was hard to light. Suggest leaving a better lighter.

• Jonathon (9/5): Very good value for the money. Definitely stay here! - Absolutely beautiful property. Very large size, gorgeous garden with jacuzzi. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The property is not within walking distance to sorrento main square. Walking on the roads is very dangerous as there is no sidewalk or shoulder. Must take a taxi everywhere.
• Shaily (9/5): Stunning villa- highly recommended - Absolutely stunning villa, perfect for a family stay. The path leading into the house, open patio and the terrace garden were the highlights. Not far from town, the shops nearby were walkable distance, although you are walking alongside the main busy and windy road without any pavement, so feels risky as times. Our host was very responsive and helpful. Some minor issues of wear and tear, given that it is an older property. We did not have cleaning for 3 days, which was disappointing. Kitchen supplies were lacking. laundry didn’t have a working drier. But these were minor problems

However, our group had some difficulty with promptness of staff getting back to us about questions about villa. There was also a security problem between the bathroom and the washroom where staff has access to 24/7 and no lock on door/broken door. We asked them to fix it and it was not done. We also were not told we would be sharing the villa with a family member who was staying above us. It was also very cold in the villa. We were not provided heat until the last night. Hopefully you have a better stay than we did.

• Giles (8/5): Very good - The villa and its garden are amazing. A good location with a 15/20 minute walk into the town centre, or a quick bus ride for €2 each. The villa is spacious with all the facilities you need. The garden, with its lemon grove is well maintained and beautiful, and has a lovely, secluded patio area. The photos do not do the size of the villa justice, it was way bigger than we were expecting! Antonino, Vittoria and the team were really welcoming and helpful, suggesting walks to the local beaches and arranging our boat trip to Capri, and transfer from the airport. There is no safe at the villa to store your valuables in. There is a door from the bathroom to the general laundry room (staff use it daily) which was open when we arrived. We asked for it to be kept locked as the laundry room could also be accessed from the garden. Unfortunately we found it open on a number of occasions when returning to the villa. The shower drain blocked whilst we were there and Antonino fixed it as soon as we told him about it.

Plenty of space for 8 adult people with the added bonus of the little chalet in the garden for the teenager girls. Host was helpful and responsive The bus is available to go to the town centre but we preferred the 15/20 min walk to with the beautiful views on the Sorrento bay The villa is very beautiful and has many nice original features but maybe a bit of TLC is needed in maintaining it to high standards The cleaning ladies were using the laundry room for their own use (not for us), this room was connected with our bathroom and we could not lock the door because it was broken. Several people were accessing the property and the grounds, at times it felt there was not enough privacy

• Lou (10/5): I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family. It was wonderful! - Absolutely beautiful home and grounds. The people were wonderful and helpful. We enjoyed sitting outside as well as inside, as long as we had bug spray as the mosquitoes were abundant. lol Highly recommend. Our daughter and son-in-law and grandson stayed in the garden cottage and the air conditioner started spitting out ice cubes on day 3. That could use some updating.

La photo sur le site n est pas correcte pour une chambre triple il manque la photo de la cabane à l entrée qui est censée être une chambre triple deluxe... petit déjeuner bien si on demande du pain frais.

• Heather (10/5): Villa in the citrus trees - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Gallone! We had trouble finding it since we got in late, so Lucia came to us! They were so kind and patient with us. The four of us loved our room out in the gardens, we loved seeing the citrus trees when stepping outside. Even though there was a language barrier between me and the lady who serves breakfast, I adore her! She had her phone out so we could communicate using the translation app! We all slept very well, the beds were cozy and we loved the pillows. Only downfall was the drain in the shower didn’t drain well and it started to leave a lake in the bathroom. We let them know though.

• Love (8/5): Amazing Italian Villa - Excellent location close to town. We are a family of four and stayed for 1 night. We were greeted and shown around the property and handed keys and remote to car gate. We had the entire villa to oiurselves and really enjoyed waking up in authentic historical itallian home. The property is beautiful and jacuzzi is a nice amenity after a long day of exploring-

• Federica (8/5): B&B in villa storica - Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole grazie anche alla cortesia e disponibilità della padrona di casa,le colazioni preparate direttamente da lei molto buone (muffin,torte,toast,caffè,the',cioccolata etc)abbondanti e fatte al momento......con possibilità di usufruire di un spazioso soggiorno con cucina oltre alle camere ampie e comode dotate entrambe di servizi privati e televisione. Direi che non manca proprio nulla per trascorrere un vacanza tranquilla,comoda ma anche particolare visto che comunque ci si trova all'interno di un villa storica molto bella ed accogliente.......con tra l'altro un parco stupendo ricco di piante secolari. E cosa da non dimenticare la possibilità di parcheggio per chi avesse l'auto.
• Jiri (10/5): Great appartment for groups! - Very good location, not far away from the center and port. Breakfast was very tasty and we could choose the time. Garden is absolutelly amazing full of oranges, pomelo and lemons. Room is very spacious. Parking is without any issues next to the garden.
• Simona (8/5): Capodanno a Sorrento - Struttura di buona qualità, avviata di recente con qualche dettaglio ancora da sistemare; nel complesso comunque valutazione certamente positiva . Molto gentile la proprietaria, cerca sempre di soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti: buoni i muffin fatti in casa serviti a colazione. Da segnalare il parcheggio privato recintato gratuito; per arrivare al centro di Sorrento occorre però camminare circa 20 minuti.
