The location is excellent, very close to the park where we wanted to hike. The house itself is nice and the kitchen is reasonably equipped. Extreme lack of accessibility: access to the bedroom is via a ladder only. This is very dangerous, not suitable for older people, and wasn't mentioned anywhere in the description. Furthermore, basic amenities were missing – there was no shampoo or hygiene products, and we were provided with only two rolls of toilet paper. Bed linen is not included, and guests are expected to clean up after themselves. The previous guests clearly didn't clean, so we arrived at a dirty house. Additionally, the sauna didn't get hot enough. Erittäin huono esteettömyys: makuuhuoneeseen pääsee vain tikkaita pitkin. Tämä on vaarallista, ei sovi iäkkäille ihmisille, eikä tästä mainittu kuvauksessa sanallakaan. Lisäksi varustelu oli puutteellinen: ei shampoota tai perushygieniatuotteita, ja saimme vain kaksi rullaa vessapaperia. Hintaan ei sisälly liinavaatteita, ja vieraiden oletetaan siivoavan jälkensä. Edelliset vieraat eivät selvästikään olleet siivonneet, sillä saavuimme likaiseen mökkiin. Lisäksi sauna ei lämmennyt tarpeeksi.

• Minna (9/5): - Majoitus oli siisti ja juuri sopiva pariskunnalle. Sijainti hyvä. Vaatteille ei ollut kunnolla tilaa. Liesituulettimesta huolimatta paistamisesta syntyvät käryt nousivat suoraan ylös parvelle.

• AnnHelen (8/5): - Siisti, ok kokoinen kahdelle ihmiselle. Sauna hyvä. Takka huono, ei vetänyt ja savut tuli sisälle, palohälytin alkoi huutamaan. Sama oli ilmeisesti käynyt monelle muullekin, puoliksi syttyneitä takkapuita oli heitetty ulos portaan viereen. Portaat parvelle jyrkät ja sängyn patjat huonot.
• Jenni (7/5): Lasketteluretki. - Kiva, kompakti kokonaisuus yhden yön vierailua varten. Helposti avaimet saatavilla. Yöni nukuin hyvin, koska hyvät peitot ja tyynyt. Yläkerta matala ja kaksi erillistä sänkyä. Yksin ei haitannut, mutta ei ole kiva tippua rakoon yöllä. Mitään ylimääräistä ei löytynyt esim suodatin- tahi leivinpaperia. Siivoukseen tarkoitettuja pesuaineita niukasti. TV:tä vaikea käyttää. Hieman kuului naapurista ääniä illasta.

• Wenli (9/5): Kiva mökki - Viihtyisä ja tunnelmallinen mökki, sopivan kokoinen kahdelle. Mökissä erittäin hyvä sauna. Parvessa mukava parisänky, jossa oli hyvä nukkua. Hyvä sijainti, Rukan palvelut löytyvät alle 5 minuutin automatkan päässä. Autopaikka mökin edessä, jossa lämmitystolppa. Portaat parvelle jyrkät. Takka ei vetänyt kunnolla ja takasta pääsi hieman savua mökkiin. Mökin varustelu muuten hyvä, pieniä puutteita lukuunottamatta. Mukaan kannattaa ottaa omat mausteet, leivinpaperi sekä WC- ja talouspaperit. Kaipasimme myös saksia, joita ei mökistä löytynyt. Säilytystilaa oli heikosti laukuille ja vaatteille.
• Maarit (7/5): Pretty okey. - Beautiful apartment, nice fireplace. The kitchen kitchen utensils was not good enough. And neighbors voices sounded thorough the walls . And they were loud.

• Juha (7/5): Thought it would have been nicer. - Sauna and the building material of walls was amazing. Cabin was very clean and instructions were clear. - Walls were pretty thin. Could hear the party from neighbour cabin so this was a big minus. - You have to climb to bedroom through a small hole and crawl on your knees and then the ceiling is pretty low. - Could not get the fireplace working. Opened the panels but all the smoke came back inside, so stopped trying. - Dont think I've been a cabin before that (if you dont take the cleaning package, which I didn't) requires you to wipe the floor with wet cloth, Did it ofcourse, but felt.. bit xtreme after vacuuming.

• Evers (8/5): Sfeervolle blokhut - Een sfeervolle accommodatie met o.a. open haard en eigen sauna. Een meertje op steenworp afstand. Tijdens ons verblijf lekker rustig, maar in het hoogseizoen vermoedelijk druk. Er zijn ca. 20 cabins in de nabijheid. Het was gehorig. Wij konden de (rustige) gesprekken van de buren horen. De trap is steil, maar was voor ons te doen. Een extra lichtschakelaar of een automatisch lampje bij de trap zou 's nachts helpen.

• Hyvärinen (8/5): - Sijainti ja kompakti. Etsin sähköauton latauspaikkaa, ja tässä kohteessa kerrottiin sellaisen olevan. Vasta varauksen jälkeen selvisi, että lataaminen onnistuu vain suko-kaapelilla, jota ei vakiona ainakaan löydy jokaisesta sähköautosta. Termi latausasema on siten mielestäni harhaanjohtava, koska mainintaa sukosta ei ollut etukäteen.

• Christine (8/5): A nice, modern cabin but be aware there’s a ladder up to the bedroom! - Location is good and facilities are fine for a small space. The bedroom in the roof space is different, but difficult to access - care is needed.

• Ralf (6/5): Charming cabin, well located; poorly managed and no courtesy with guests - The sauna is great, and so was the location The room is only as quiet as the family staying next to you; I paid for extra cleaning and was still assigned homework at the end of my stay (list of 17 chores to be completed at end of stay); also paid for extra linens and got sheets that were 3/4 the size of the bed; hosts communicate poorly and instructions about WiFI were actually equivocal even at the webpage; the wooden ladder to the bedroom is completely uneven and just dangerous, specially for older and taller guests

• Sofia (9/5): Lovely cabin stay - This felt like a luxury cabin. It had everything you need for self-catering (full kitchen, fireplace...) and also a great sauna. The location worked well for us to get to the Oulanka National Park and to Ruka ski resort. Idea to keep the key permanently in the lock box was great so you didn't have to worry about carrying the keys with you. Cute reindeer wondering in the yard was a bonus. You had to climb very steep and slippery steps to get to the sleeping area which also became very hot during the night. The place provided a small fan, though.
