• Roman (6/5): - I'd booked a bed in a 4-person dorm but on arrival was told that 4-person dorms are only for group bookings and they had none available, but assured me that 6-person dorm would be likely filled up to 4 people, which turned out to be true. The kitchen facility is very basic and there is no common area to eat but there are tables in the dorms. They have a conventional washing machine on-site and do laundry. There are lockers that fit a 41L backpack outside of the rooms but bring your own padlock. There was no key to the dorm but the door to the hostel is locked and they'll unlock it as there's a person living on premises manning the reception.
• pervin oya (4/5): - The hostel was very dirty. There were a lot of mosquitoes. There was no toilet paper or paper towels. The staff was not polite, they acted as if they were bored with their job, as if the customers were making their lives difficult. Also, after we checked out, we asked for the luggage to stay there for a few hours, and they wanted extra money. I have stayed in many hotels and hostels around the world, I have never seen such a ridiculous practice.

• TARIK (8/5): - Hostel fiyat olarak ve temizlik olarak iyi ancak girişinde isimleri yazmıyor bulmakta biraz zorlandık. küçük bi yer gecelik kullanım için idare eder ama bi kaç vs yada daha fazla kalacaklar bahçeli daha ferah bir yer bulmaları iyi olur teşekkür ederim
• ryo (6/5): - シングルルームを取ったのですが、風呂とトイレが共同です。それはいいです。でも、10分も経っていないシャワーに「あと何分で終わる?5分後に上がって」急かされます。また、タオルも乾かして2日連続で使うよう言われます。何のためにシングルルームを取ったのかかわかりません。ただ、こちらが笑顔でしていれば、それ以上嫌なことはされません。　あと、Wi-Fiが繋がりにくいです。常に。　エアコン付きの部屋なのにエアコンのリモコンは用意されてません。　部屋に虫が入りやすい構造のようです。

• Paul (8/5): - It was simple, but adequate. Clean, with common bathroom. A kitchen to use. Liked the area with lots of food options nearby.
• Julian David (6/5): Convenient for SAW airport but not a gem - I arrived late at night and checked in as normal. Then the girl from reception asked me to pay: I said that I had already paid and she said she could not find it. This was late and I was tired, so I said we could resolve everything in the morning. Shouting and screaming followed; then she called the owner by telephone, who spoke with me and threatened me with the police. Eventually they did find proof of payment and were apologetic in the morning. The only other note-worthy point is that no towel is provided, and of course no toiletries. While the photo shows a garden area I could not find any way to get to it.
• Christine (10/5): Excellent stay in super position - We are a couple around our 50ies and stayed at Kevin's hostel four nights after having stayed in Sultanahmet with the family for another couple of days. First thing we realised about the location, Kadiköy was that it's about half of the price level compared with the historic old town. Kevin's hostel is exceptionally well located in easy walking distance towards the ferry, busses, trams and train as well as to supermarkets, liquor shops, kebab eateries and the beautiful market area (east of Kadiköy's main road), not only markets but tea/ coffee rooms, all sorts of restaurants and beer bars, genius and way more genuine than we saw elsewhere. We had a very good balcony room with a wonderful comfortable, big double bed, wardrobe, table & two chairs that we moved to the balcony to enjoy the quiet afternoons (the balconies go to the yard side, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed). There is a well equipped common kitchen and a huge bathroom was just across our room. EXCELLENT shower!!! The hostel has even a small backyard/ garden with common area to sit and talk, bbq facilities abundant. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help and they were cleaning the house once a day, the bathrooms several times per day. When back in Istanbul we are definitely coming back to stay here! Thank you for everything! Bob and Christine ☘

• Charles (8/5): - It’s a cheap option for a private room in Kadikoy, just minutes away from the ferry pier. Though the amenities are quite dated, it’s comfortable enough for the short stay.

En üst katta bir oda verildi çok küçük ve basıktı, değiştirmek istediğimizi söylediğimizde diğer odaların ortak tuvaleti olduğu söylendi ama böyle bir şey belirtilmemişti. Tuvalette duş kabini yoktu zaten iki adımlık bir tuvaletti. Tavsiye etmiyorum bu fiyata değmez.

• Hadiansyah (8/5): - The place is very clean, double bed (bunkbeds) even for single person. You can cook in the kitchen. 24 hours access door. Good location (5-10 minutes walking distance to Metro Station). However, Wifi connection is sometimes slow.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away! Uzak Durun! - One minute away is the infamous Hush Lounge with live music and great environment and people. Kevin's hostel has terrible hospitality. Stay away! Kazıkçı mantık, iki adım ötede hush lounge var, canlı müzik vs. orda kalın.

• Josh (10/5): - Great hostel just a few minutes walk from the Kadikoy Terminal which is very convenient if you have a flight out of Sabiha Gokcen Airport since you can take the E10 or E11 bus from Kadikoy Terminal to that airport. You can also take the ferry from Kadikoy Terminal to the European side of Istanbul. The hostel is clean and a perfect location with many shops and restaurants open all day and night. The guy who worked there, Ali was a great help and a very kind man.

• Hasan (2/5): - Mein erste tag war schon katastrphe die haben eine syrische frau die nur englisch kann und das nur teiweise die hat mich kaum verstanden über die reservierung will ich gar nicht sprechen weil das was ichreserviert habe, hab es auch nicht erstattet. Das Klo ist mit Badezimmer zusammen und ist komplett und hygienisch weil es lauter schimmel auf der decke gibt anscheinend hat die besitzerin kein geld das hostel zu reservieren. Nach so viele kritiken würde ich keinem empfehlen da zu schlafen.
