Guest Reviews
- Pranav Subbaraya (9/5): Out of this world! - It is a nature resort. has well qualified experts including Mr David Raju who has authored a photographic guide on the fauna of South India and is an authority on dragon-flies. I could interact with visiting experts including entomologists, lepidopterists, botanists and herpetologists. We saw many types of frogs and snakes including the Malabar pit viper, birds including Asian fairy bluebird and vernal parrot etc.
The food was very good (local varieties of rice was a highlight) and the ambience was awesome with the water droplet frog contributing to the sounds of nature. 1. The access road needs to be fixed, it is a jungle road but there is no point rattling everyone to go up and down a hill. The whole road is not under the control of the resort, only the part within, but a collective representation and a public private partnership could help, after all, a significant amount of state revenue comes from tourism.
2. Longer treks into the jungle would be good.
3. It should be publicized that the best time to visit is winter to see migratory birds
- Krishnamoorthi (9/5): - Food was good, but too little options for the costs.
- CHACKO (5/5): Disappointed - Staff courtesy was excellent Location - It is far away from main road. We had to take jeep in off road to reach the place. Location is in the forest area and cut off from town or shops

- Bharath (10/5): A wonderful resort with the most amazing staff - Everything.
From the check in process to the time we checked out, there was not one thing which I could find fault with. Not applicable as everything was just perfect
- Anand Kumar (10/5): - The activities for kids especially were very well managed, my kid got really enthusiastic about the night animals.
- Sanket (10/5): -
- Madhusudhan (10/5): -
- Kanwar (9/5): It was a wonderful experience with good food and chance to observe nature upclose - Location and the naturalists. The staff was very ordial No gym

- ravindra (10/5): - Everything was amazing , awesome location , delicious food , polite staff Travel to resort from parking ; there should be a better road.
- Davis (9/5): -
- Rahul (10/5): Had a great time - Environmentalists hired by the hotel were top notch and made all the difference to our stay.
- Feisal (10/5): An excellent well run nature resort - The overall youthful friendliness of the staff from waiters to naturalists was endearing. The relaxed vibe of the space was also alluring. The activities planned ecplored the true potential of the space.
- tom (9/5): Perfection for the wildlife with the most knowledgable guides. - The location. The wildlife is astonishing. The guides brillliant. While you see a range of creatures every day, the routes of the tours are the same each day.

- Bhargavi (10/5): -
- Som Roy (5/5): Aspires to be premium but falls quite short - The property itself is within a lush environment and offers scening views. It's quite self-contained as well. The staff tried their best but there were minor maintenance gaps (door bolt, lights not working, bathroom flush blocked, etc.) and we also felt that the price point is way above what it should be. Unfortunately, while the staff were quite genuine and well meaning, they seemed to be not so well trained on technical aspects. We travel extensively and I'd personally place JLR, Karnataka as a much better offering.
- Eveline (10/5): - 10/10 - if you go to Wayanad I would fully recommend. Beautiful place, great staff, very knowledgable about the local flora and fauna, very nice complementary activities (I did multiple nature walks, a cooking class and a talk about flowers). The food was amazing, the rooms beautiful and spotlessly clean and the staff was incredibly forthcoming and helpful
- Manoj (10/5): - Amazed with the nature and people
The food is out of world
Staffs are really good…wold strongly recommend.

- Ahmed Ali (9/5): Excellent, Peaceful & memorable - Location is simply amazing. The place is quite, clean and peaceful. The staff are attentive to your needs and the nature walks are well demonstrated. If you are into a nature, this is the place the stay in Wayanad. Nothing can beat this for the services they provide and the location of the resort. Not to miss, if you are in Wayanad. The resort blends with nature & provides a luxury accommodation in the middle of the forest without disturbing the habitats. Nothing. I liked everything.
- Shrutipriya (10/5): - Peaceful, quite, amidst nature and extremely warm and helpful staff
- ABDUL (8/5): Excellent location and weather - The ambience Movement restriction due to elephant’s presence
- Atul (10/5): Great wild stay in Wayanad - Great location and great service Nothing

- Hari (9/5): Amazing nature stay at Wayanad Wild – CGH Earth - We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Wayanad Wild, nestled in the heart of the Wayanad forest. The location is stunning and surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for anyone who loves nature. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help, making our stay memorable. Food and stay costs can feel a bit high compared to other places.
- VIKRAMADITYA (6/5): -
- Rajat (9/5): -
- S (6/5): Activities, staff, hospitality, room cleaning, food all fine. - Staff were really good. Stretch 15 mins by van from pickup point to the location was miserable. Anyone with lower back or any ailments please note it’s not easy especially our driver was very rash and we had travelled already too long on road so I was totally upset holding my cramped tummy .
- Subroto (10/5): Whenever I am in Wayanad again, this is where I am going to stay! - I struggled to find a single aspect which wasn't fabulous about this property! Marvellous location - first hand experience of what a jungle stay could feel like. Massive shout out to the staff - right from the drivers who supported with the pick/drop services, to the waiters, naturalists and the management - all of them were thorough professionals and clearly came across as folks who love the hospitality industry. The cabin was spick and span with all necessary amenities. And finally, the food - spent 3 nights in this wonderful property and looked forward to each meal of the half board booking. Phenomenal spread in both breakfast and dinner. Albeit not a must but would be good to consider keeping some basic gym training equipments.
- Colleen (8/5): Very relaxing - It was very eco friendly Nice wildlife, interesting walks
- RAZIN (10/5): -
- Rashi (10/5): Memory itched ❤️ - The place is a cocoon..in the middle of a dense forest.. the hear see live in nature. Felt so bonded with life. Could see a giant squirrel while having breakfast, butterflies sucking nectar.. went for morning trek amd saw 18 different species of birds and the night walk discovered different kind of snakes frogs worm n leeches. I had a incredible time and if u have time ..make a 4 days trip.. it just relax and soothe u. Btw must must highlight the to and fro is so well organised, the Ecco s within the premises is so prompt and efficient, the staff is courteous and helpful .. infact 1st time it has happened our car was parked in the parking and due to gusty winds coconut branch fell on the windscreen..we were promptly informed , thw hotel took care of the repairs and provided us a complimentary car and driver to take care of the sight seeing. I loved cgh earth...its an experience, one should one. Thank you so very much to make this our most memorable enjoyable and comfortable trip..will be coming back v soon.
Rashi I dont have anything to say. I was promised a complimentary upgrade, which wasn't given..only this was disappointing. Else You were perfect in every which way.

- Surya Prasanna Kumar (8/5): Great ambiance, views and love the connect with nature. Worthy of a one time visit for every family. - Serene place that allows us the boon of connecting to mother nature. High quality food and wonderful ambiance. Worthy of a one time visit for everyone who can afford. Not much food options, buffet is pricey but that is sort of justified by the quality of food they served. Secondly, the road to resort is a bit risky and bad (until the resort entry point). Finally, the rest rooms near the restaurant can be better maintained (had foul smell on both days)
- Divya (7/5): Heart of wilderness but few things for kids under 5 - Heart of wilderness. Minimalist & Simple. Fantastic staff. Good food. Silent. If you are rained in like we were, there wasn’t much to do to entertain ourselves, so come prepared if you have little kids.

- Praseeda (10/5): -
- Hanshad (10/5): - One of the best. The staff is so amazing that they are there whenever you needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
- SANDEEP (8/5): Overall an okay stay - The forest seems to have been preserved rather well. The items for Breakfast and Dinner Buffet were limited. For Breakfast No Cheese platter, No dry fruits, Single shot Espresso was chargeable,

Will be visiting in winter again..!!!! No complaints.. al carte items prices on the exorbitant side. Know that..!!
- Sandeep (10/5): - Its set in the forest with some fun hiking options. They have a pool of naturalists that guide you on the local fauna.
The food options are limited but fine well. They have focused on eco friendly products and reducing wastage.
My baby had a medical emergency and the staff was extremely professional and helpful in getting her to the hospital and calming us down. Many thanks to Mr Sherwin, Umesh and Shaji once again from the bottom of my heart. Pool could have been heated but I don't know how they can do that while being eco friendly.
- Smit (9/5): We stayed at Wayanad Wild CGH with our family and absolutely loved the experience. From the pickup at the parking spot t - Food, hospitality, hygiene, professional staff!

- Sakshi R. (10/5): Beautiful nature getaway - Absolutely everything!
I booked the stay to go on small break from the city life - just wanted to be in nature and feel better. Initially I was skeptical about the property basis the photos, thinking it might not match the pictures. But honestly, the property was exactly as shown in the photos. It is nestled inside the rain forest. The only sounds you will hear are birds, insects, monkeys and the occasional elephants. To eat breakfast and dinner with the sound of a creek whilst seeing beautiful greenery really helped reset my nervous system. The food was fantastic - primarily Kerala food made from local ingredients. They also had some staple dishes in case if Kerala food is not something you want to try (but absolutely should - it was divine). They do not have room service and primarily do buffet food but have a limited a la carte menu as well. The cottage was extremely spacious and sufficiently distant from other cottages. It was clean, comfortable, decently decorated and self-sufficient. Slept so well because of the nature sounds - especially rain since I visited during the monsoon. They have a prompt buggy service as well. The staff was very accommodating and helpful - always served with a smile and even when we made certain requests, they were happy to oblige. The pool is lovely but if you are visiting in non-summer periods, the water can be very cold. Vibes are great though - an infinity pool in the middle of a forest is immaculate. The best part was the list of in-house activities - it brought out my inner child. They had walks, talks and live cooking - all very interesting and engaging.
Would recommend for a great time away from the daily hustle-bustle. Came back feeling very rejuvenated :) Nothing as such. But if they really want to up the game, should consider including a spa and heating for the pool
- Vignesh (10/5): -
- Gafoor123 (8/5): Very good - Amazing staffs resort is very clean highly recommending
- Ishaa (10/5): Exceptional - The staff, the location, the food...everything was top notch. One thing completely distinct was the absence of a TV and so all the activities they had to replace it again top notch.
- Rajesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ijhas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Santosh (8/5): Very good -
- Rameesh (9/5): Superb -
- Varun (9/5): Superb - Nice
- Paras (8/5): Good Peaceful stay with food. - Good Food , Good Staff , Good Rooms , location is little inside the forest , it takes 20 min to reach per day one trip is free , there is charges of 700 for extra trip.
- Prashant (10/5): Amazing forest stay - the food was awesome and the staff amazing. the presence of naturalists and the multiple activities was really nice, and the kids loved them. it felt like a luxurious hideout in the middle of a forest. loved the variety of food and the attention to detail by the chef and going out of their way to make us feel pampered. the naturalists are amazing and we were literally spell-bound by their talks and walks on the property. would love to go back! nothing
- Yasin (9/5): Superb -
- Nagesh (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful experience. Excellent location , staff and hospitality. Value for money.
- Parvees (1/5): Extremely Disappointing Stay – Would Never Recommend Our recent stay at this resort was nothing short of a disaster. Ri - Location is fare but this is worst place I stayed ever in life Certain ambience
- Suchitra (8/5): Very good -
- Amit (9/5): Superb -
- Ranjeet (8/5): Very good - Excellent property and location
Great service, staff was absolutely wonderful and made sure we are comfortable despite the continuous rains
Wonderful stay in nature, good food local options Desserts should have been more local cuisine than Mousse, cakes etc.
They should also plan some more indoor activities given the torrential rains that made us unable to move for any outdoor activities (some of which had to be cancelled too)
Too much rains meant clothes stayed wet throughout the stay for over 3 days. Need to ensure some consideration for the same
- Aman (10/5): Exceptional - Ambience, Rooms, People Food all was excellent
- Eruch (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neil (10/5): - Great getaway for a few days immersed in nature, stunning hikes and views and wonderful staff and cuisine.
Accent on on-site activities is justifiable; surrounding attractions outside the property, while famous, are incredibly crowded and congested and better to enjoy the excellent ambiance, service and cuisine and superb cabin rooms drenched with birdsongs!
- Lakshmi (8/5): Beautiful and comfortable - The friendly ambience and the forest all around The hi tea snacks should have a bit more on the spread
- Abhishek (9/5): Superb -
- Prasanth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fahad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rumble (10/5): Naturalists, chefs, serenity, flavour, adventure. - The addition of the naturalists and the chefs made it exceptional. They were a delight and involved the whole family and gave another element to our holiday. This is the future of luxury travel. The atmosphere around the hotel was so calm and welcoming and the food was the best we have had in India changing every day. The restaurant wonderful. The jeep in very exciting.
- Ashesh (8/5): COMFORTABLE STAY - SUMPTUOUS BREAK FAST. THE FOOD WAS LIMETED CHOICE.
- Sethu (10/5): Wonderful quiet vacation. - The property staff was well trained and the environment friendliness. Did not find a single plastic use items at all. Lived without guilt for those 3 days Beds were not much comfortable. Could be better
- Agata (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing nature, great food and personel!
- Sheetal (8/5): Very good -
- Swaroop (9/5): Superb -
- Jayasheel (10/5): Great ambience & wonderful hospitality. - We loved the experiences that were organised such as the night walk, morning bird watching trek , Malabar live kitchen demonstration to state a few.
- Mustafa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jinal (8/5): Great location and service - Activities were good and the room was good. The location of the hotel is amazing. There are very few options for vegetarian food, No AC in the rooms, due to which the rooms would get hot in the afternoon.
- Suchindran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kapil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sunil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neeraj (10/5): Excellent stay at Wayanad Wild - It was a wonderful stay at Wayanad Wild. The arrangements were top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed the curated walks. The naturalists are extremely passionate and knowledgeable. The staff is very friendly, courteous and accomodating. Food was excellent. The rooms were very clean and in perfect condition.
- Siraj (10/5): Nice stay in forest 🙌🏻 -
- Ramesh (7/5): Good resort for 1 night stay - All the Staffs are really nice, always there to fulfill your request with a smile. Rooms are comfortable. Night walk with naturalist was great, the way he explained was very clear, you could learn so much about frogs, snakes, lizards, birds, etc..There is pick and drop facility from room to restaurant if needed. They will arrange for taxi service if you need one for sight seeing and also suggest you which places are close by and must visit. We liked the hospitality. Didn't like the location, its inside the jungle which is good but if your planning for 2 nights or more then this is not the place to choose. 1 night stay is good so that you can participate in all in house activities, of course there is age restrictions for most of the activities ie. 12+. To reach the resort from main road, you have travel in a jeep 2kms offroad, rugged terrain . We travelled with 2 kids, so it was bit of a discomfort and since we stayed for 2 nights, we have to climb up and down 4 times since we planned for sigtht seeing next day. Hot water was bit of an issue in the start but it was sorted out. Food options are not that great but good. Swimming pool is not temperature controlled.
There is no bar but you can carry your own drinks.
- Anand (8/5): Good but expensive. Hindering value for the money paid - Nice rooms. Good walks but we missed the evening walk. ( 9 of us) due to miscommunication. No reinforcement of communication via telephone. Missed the evening walk due to miscommunication.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - Nature walks and activities run by the hotel were excellent. Food was good and the pool was lovely! The setting is very peaceful, you really feel like you’re up in the hills. All in all we had a fantastic stay! Im nit picking a bit, but service was a little inconsistent with some staff members going out of their way to help, whereas we struggled to get clear information out of others. We would also have appreciated a bit more help/ recommendations when looking to organise activities outside the hotel - the focus was very strongly on guests doing hotel run activities so we had to arrange outside things ourselves.
- Achu (10/5): Exceptional - Clean rooms
Friendly staff
Terrific location deep inside the forest.
- Cicil (7/5): Good -
- Nidhi (9/5): Superb -
- Mohiyudheen (10/5): Exceptional -
