- larrygN6174QM (2/5): Deplorable customer service and safety issues - Upon check-in I was given a room that the ac was very loud and upon entry I went back to the front desk to be moved. I was given another room and upon entry I walked in on someone taking a shower. I was outraged but remained calm when I made my way to the front desk a 2nd time to explain what had just happened. The nonchalant behavior about the situation was appalling to say the least. I did receive an I am sorry but that was the only statement made. I left the desk furious and outraged that a customers safety meant nothing and the results of what happened could have been very tumultuous. Me and my husband whom was not with me will never use Marriott in the future and I will share what happened to everyone and anyone. I as well have taken pictures of wall paper peeling off the wall in the outdated bathroom, water damage along the edge of the bathtub, the elevator that seemed on the verge of breaking down, the darkened carpet which I can assume was to hide the years of exhaustion that the furniture and accessories had endured. The lack of hospitality, common courtesy as well as total disregard for safety are inexcusable and is a direct reflection on a tired and worn brand,
- Natasha (10/5): Great Breakfast, Welcoming smiling faces and nice clean rooms šš¾ - The rooms were soon lean, and the bathrooms. the staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was hot and the sitting are was relaxing ā¤ļø

- Tuggles (10/5): My Stay - Everything!!! My stay was clean, comfortable and quiet. Loved it! The breakfast!!!
- Rosales (2/5): Don't overspend on mediocre - Staff wasnt very helpful and the rooms were barely clean I wouldn't recommend Front desk staff, maintenance walked in while we were using the bathroom after knocking for one second. I didn't even have time to open the door before he came in. The rooms weren't clean and smelled musty
- Ellis (7/5): - Love location..amenities..even breakfast is pretty good. Staff is nice. The beds are uncomfortable, to say the least. I have a slipped vertebrae and after last night's stay ..I'm not sure if there will be a 4th stay in the future. The only way that I could sleep without back or hip pain was to lay on top of folded towels while sleeping on my side. That is my only complaint. Maybe firm mattresses are the norm.
- O3025REkathyf (6/5): I wouldnāt recommend staying for the price - The hotel is outdated. Bare necessities
The ac unit is very loud. Had to turn it off to sleep

- h0neybj (2/5): Be cautious before staying at this hotel Fairfield - Check in on October 28 unfortunately, the employee that checked me in was very rude and unprofessional She became very irate for whatever reason I donāt know
why she was carrying on this way I have no idea. I simply asked her one question what was the $60 for she said incidental I said OK but no one had ever stated that to me I had stayed here at the hotel several times the week before as the conversation continue to go on she became very even more irate. She racist profiled me stated you Black people I say to her she is being very unprofessional and I am not black would you like to know my nationality? She said no because I know youāre kind. I said this is not worth you losing your job and I will report you to management she said she could walk out and leave the job at any time she did not need it. I said OK but I will tell you again the way you is carrying on towards me. It is not worth it. Unfortunately I had to go back to the desk again cause I had left the key in the room. She still was being totally rude and unprofessional she said
oh you need me now, huh? I could just walk away leave you standing here at the desk by yourself. I said OK do so if you like but again all what you doing is not worth you losing your job I told her I will report her to management. She said she didnāt care about that. I donāt need this job. I donāt care if theyāre watching me on the camera.
OK do to suit yourself,
I did report the situation to manager Latika and the front desk manager Tenerian Latika assured me she would pulled the tape review and at that point have a conversation with the employee and she would call me back and give me a update and she did
She said she reviewed the tape she was very unapologetic and embarrassed she said and assured that will never happen again unfortunately it did
So at this point I have involved the police I will be filling a report and contacting a lawyer
To the public be advised before visiting that hotel Fairfield
Met with them both the next day to discuss the incident. They assured me that they would handle the situation. Unfortunately, it was not hand up properly
November 2 2025 another encounter with this employee. I wanted to get coffee before leaving to visit my brother in the hospital. She refused to serve me again. I went to the kitchen area, but I did not walk inside the kitchen. I was standing in the doorway told her that she had several customers standing at the front desk, waiting to check in and could I please get some coffee cream she began to tell me I wasnāt authorized to be back there. I said to her I am not inside that kitchen. Iām standing in the doorway in informing you that you have customers waiting for you and I just need some cream please
She came out of the out of the kitchen, pushed me out of the doorway and I said to her why did you just put your hands on me? Iām gonna call the police and charge you with assault and Iām gonna sue you for racist profiling me the other day she called her manager. She was on the phone with her after she has stayed in the back again for over 1520 minutes customer still waiting to check in. Iām still standing there waiting for coffee cream, the cleaning guy and the Hispanic lady which Iām assuming is in housekeeping said to us that she was in the back in the bathroom crying. I said thereās no time to be crying. Thereās customers waiting to be served and all I needed was coffee cream, please and thank you. At this point she came from the back with her manager on the phone. I could hear the manager asked her was I still there? Yes, sheās standing here at the front desk at this time. I chose to leave because I need to travel out of town to visit my brother. I called the police meet the police when I return
Unprofessional and rude and I will be checking out tonight fFairfield Marriott hotel tonight that hotel tonight
Totally unpro

- Cora (10/5): -
- Angela (10/5): - Pet friendly
- Gorey (8/5): It did the job - Clean, neat, and the staff didnāt bother us nearly at all with questions The location.
And the receptionist gave us a bit of a ātude when we checked in at 3am⦠but I guess it was 3am
Pool was closed for the seasonā¦..
- Keith (9/5): Great! - On long trip this was 1st actual room specifically for disabled person with a walk-in shower. Very accommodating. Nothing
- Mariah (10/5): -
- Catherine (9/5): This was my second stay and will return again. - Breakfast was nicely presented, hot, and plentiful, good flavor. Bigger pet (dog) walking area.
- Baylor (10/5): Nice clean and friendly staff! - This hotel was pleasant and clean. The staff paid great attention to detail in their cleaning efforts. However, I am uncertain about the occasion during my stay. There was quite a bit of traffic noise on the main strip, which I believe was Capital Blvd, with motorcycles, cars, and other vehicles racing down the highway. Aside from that, it was a really nice stay.
- Skarleth (8/5): - The area and friendly staff
- William (10/5): - Great
- James (10/5): Great location, my visit was for work, but would return with the family. - The location was close enough to the interstate for travelling, but secluded enough for peace & quiet. Hotel & staff were great & room was comfortable. Plenty of shops & restaurants within a short driving distance. I would return if in the area again. Although the breakfast was always fresh and fulfilling, the choice was limited.
- Ashton (10/5): - Stayed for a competition across the street. Great stay! Will see yall next month!
- Christmas (10/5): Perfect - Exactly what you expect from a Marriott. Nicely done.
- Jordan (8/5): - I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly l would stay there again.
- Dawn (10/5): -
- Greg (8/5): - When I booked it I thought I was going to be closer to places I intended on visiting-not the fault of the property.
- Terry (9/5): -
- Jill (8/5): It was ok, for what we needed it for. Very clean at least. - Good location close to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast not good, make sure if you want your room cleaned you tell the front desk, they donāt clean everyday unless you ask for it. Needed towels had to go to front desk to get them.
- Morris (10/5): - Pleasure to stay at this location
- John (10/5): - Great for a 1 night stop
- Artavia (6/5): - The property was just ok nothing to write home about.
- Alexander Jose (7/5): - La ubicación y su limpieza
- Patricia (10/5): -
- Denise (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it, but the guest laundry payment may take a few minutes to access and navigate.
- Christine (10/5): Clean and comfy - My room was very nice, but I really don't think the refrigerator was cold enough. The hotel breakfast was fantastic the first day, but the choices the next day we're not as good and the empty items weren't replenished as quickly. Breakfast was until 10:00 a.m. but by 9:15 a lot of items out and unavailable. Overall, though, our stay was very nice, our room was cleaning comfy, and staff was very pleasant and helpful when needed.
- Josiah Sukra (8/5): -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Weekend trip - Staff was friendly and service was good. In a good location and price is very affordable.
- Giselle (6/5): Decent family stay - Overall we felt the hotel was clean and safe. The fitness room was well equipped. The room was clean. However, the breakfast options left much to be desired. They ran out of food quickly and didnāt have much to choose from. We also requested a room refresh on our 3rd day but dis not get that. The front desk apologized. The front desk was also friendly and welcoming.
We had an issue with our deadbolt not locking and the front desk clerk came to look at it and promised that maintenance would fix it when they came in the next morning⦠they fixed it.
Overall it was a decent stay. We did not get to use the pool due to constant rain⦠but the water looked clear.
- ALBERTO (10/5): - Excelente ubicacion. Instalaciones bien conservadas y limpias
- Corey (8/5): Over night stay - My overall stay was good. The three caveats Iāll
Add tho. The filter for the air condition unit in my room needs to be change. The room had a stale smell to it. The mattress & pillows need's to be upgraded. When got into the bed, the mattress sunken. The pillows didnāt have good support. I was relegated, to having to use 2 to 3 pillows for comfort & support.
- Cherryl (10/5): Friends funeral š - Traveled Raleigh for a friend's funeral, chose the Fairfield because of location and it turned out to be the best decision ever. Close to everything and we enjoyed free breakfast while there for 4 day's.
- Margaret (10/5): - The beds were very comfortable. Our rooms were clean. The outdoor pool was small but the water was warm and clean.
- Edwin M (10/5): - Excellent Hotel Highly Hight Recomented. A++
- Smith (7/5): -
- Nikki (10/5): - It was a great stay. The hotel was clean. I love the shower. The hotel rep Sabrina was great.
- Gail (6/5): - I was at the hotel property for one week (from Saturday to Saturday). In that time period, I only received one cleaning service. After the fourth day, I had to track down cleaning service to get clean towels. I expected better service.
- Dejhi (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay
- amyhS6832OB (10/5): - I needed a special favor- Shianne came thru! Best customer service I have received and I have stayed at many Fairfield Inns! She is fantastic, has a great personality and knows her business. Hotel was super clean. Room was awesome- bed and linens super comfy! It was a perfect place to stay! Centrally located to take care of business needs. Will definitely make this my place to stay on my Raleigh business trips! Oh and the breakfast was delicious!
- ROSE (10/5): It was fine. Already planning our next stay there. - The breakfast was fine. I wish we could have had a pancake or waffle but that is small. The main reason was to save money on having one less meal to pay for. Really all was fine. The air conditioner was loud when it was on.
- Abdulrahman (8/5): -
- Shawn (8/5): -
- Wendy (10/5): - Very friendly staff and a great breakfast!
- Pernell (10/5): - Great
- Jonathan (8/5): It was okay the toilet water took a long time to fill up - not a good selection better selection of food
- Douglas (10/5): Good overnight stay - Friendly reception, comfortable room and quiet, despite being next to a busy road.
- Girlie (9/5): Superb -
- Shawn (8/5): Very nice overnight stay - My stay was a pretty good experience. The staff saw really friendly and accommodating. The hotel and room was clean, quiet and nicely kept. The price was excellent.
- Maria (10/5): A Compassionate Staff and a Refreshing Stay - It had been a long day & an even longer drive through stormy weather. By the time I arrived, I had a migraine, was exhausted, and hungry. A coworker recommended this location ā I specifically needed a walk-in shower ā and mentioned she believed they had room service. When I asked the front desk agent about room service, she kindly explained that they didnāt offer it, but there was a small pantry with items available for purchase. Unfortunately, due to dietary restrictions, that wasnāt an option I could use. She could tell I really needed a good meal, and without hesitation, she offered to walk next door and bring something back for me. She was so compassionate and sincerely assured me it wouldnāt be a bother ā that sheād be happy to bring it right to my room. I was incredibly touched by the offer. I thanked her and said that if she could just point me in the right direction, the fresh air might do me some good. I dropped my things in the room and headed out. That short walk, the cool night air, and some good food turned my entire evening around. I felt so much better. I thanked her again & turned in for the night. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the walk-in shower was a blessing. After a long, hot shower, I slept like a teething toddler knocked out on Motrin. I even took another shower in the morning to start my day feeling refreshed & awake. I topped it all off with a nice cup of coffee on my way to check out. I highly recommend this location!
- Rafael (6/5): - Nice staff, clean property, good breakfast. The property looks quite new. More could be done regarding maintenance. Half a curtain was missing, the toilet kept running, and the AC machine was pretty loud.
