- basilm303 (2/5): Won’t be back. Terrible shower. - Not for me, I won’t be back. No way to take a decent shower..
Room itself is not that bad. Highway noise noticeable but I can live with it. The shower is the deal killer. Terrible weak low volume flow. If you’re gonna try to wash more than one square inch at a time you’re out of luck. I can put up with a lot of things from a but if I can’t get a decent shower, I’m done with the place. I won’t be back.

- 677latoyaj (10/5): Rest - I stayed here over a week ago. Let’s just say nothing is going to be perfect in every room. But the FD Mgr. Kasey L was very instrumental in making wrongs right. Her pleasant and helpful personality and kind assistance was very much appreciated. She made my stay a very good one. Thank you Kasey L!
- kaylawV6220HG (2/5): Hotel scams frequent customers!! - Stayed here several times for business. Hotel charged me a $150 smoking fee although I stay over 100 nights a year in hotels and have never had a history of any smoking in rooms. Complete scam and refused to refund. Housekeeping manager lied and said there was a cloud of smoke in the room which never happened. Also during one stay I had to move rooms 3 times because of an insane number of stink bugs in the room.

- T4671EWpb (2/5): $125 pet fee for SERVICE ANIMALS - This establishment charges a non-refundable $125 per fee EVEN FOR SERVICE ANIMALS. They have no soul.
Called and spoke to Joshua. He verified their pet policy and stated they “make no exceptions die service animals.”
- Moneisha (6/5): - Nice room
- Ingrid (6/5): - The hospitality was wonderful from the front desk staff. However the property could use updating. Otherwise the accommodation fit what we needed.
- John (8/5): We would stay at this location again if in the area. - It was a convenient and comfortable and pet friendly. While the room was quite comfortable. We did experience a problem with the air conditioner in the room that caused a lot of condensation on the rug. We alerted the front desk so that the issue could be addressed before the next guests.
- Dwight (4/5): - Hotel smelled and was dirty
- yoshikazu (8/5): Nice but not perfect - I am a BONVoY member, but forgot it.
I wish receptionist should check it.
The towel hanger in the bathroom was broken and looked like it was about to fall off.
The shower room door was half open, so the floor got flooded.

- Timothy (10/5): -
- Ebony (10/5): Mumford reunion - This place is amazing great hospitality and excellent breakfast.
- John (10/5): - Nice people
- Catherine (5/5): See above - Mold on the shower curtains in the bath. The floor is buckling and splitting in the kitchen/ living area.
I spoke to the front desk and someone from maintenance about these issues. I was told there are multiple rooms with floor issues. He also said the hotel was going to be renovated sometime soon
- Julia (10/5): - Excellent place! Service is fantastic and the staff couldn't be better. I had several problems during that time and they were more then accommodating, over the top helpful! I recommend this place to everyone.
- AlyceMay (10/5): - Great place. Wonderful treadmills. Near sone good restaurants.
- tarahI6363MO (8/5): My stay - I must say that I was not happy. When I saw how unkept my room was at check-in ,but I am a VERY OCD person. I bring my own cleaning supplies to clean any hotel room, that I stay in. I would like to give a shout out to Frank, and Amber for making contacting their GM, and making the situation better! Sherry, Trish, and Josh were very friendly to be around during my stay! I will stay again!
- Shannan (4/5): - Not the best!
- Candice (10/5): - .
- Danny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathryn (8/5): Very good -
- Billy (8/5): Very good - The breakfast okay.
- Warna (10/5): - Nice place to stay.
- BLT1991 (6/5): A nice stay - A nicely appointed Towneplace level hotel. The staff was friendly. I thought the breakfast was particularly good...the bacon was delicious and the bagels were better than your average hotel bagels. The water pressure, however, was weak. My bathroom sink needs maintenance attention...its pressure was so low. The shower was manageable but still disappointing. We can save the planet in other ways...there is no water shortage in southwestern Kentucky...crank up the water pressure or remove any restrictors.
- Stacy (4/5): - There was an ant infestation in my room. When I notified the staff, they told me I wasn’t supposed to have food in the room. I woke up everyday with bug bites on my hands and arms and began to think they were bed bug bites. I stayed here for 2 weeks and was paranoid and itchy the whole time. The manager complained and bad mouthed my sister while she was on hold trying to get the ant problem resolved. She overheard every rude word Gwen said about her. After being transferred to a different manager there was still no refund given. The room was not terrible, but it was obvious that they are not thoroughly cleaned. There was food under the bed, couch and radiator that was not mine and I’m guessing is the reason the ant problem was so bad. This hotel would have gotten only one star from me but their pearl waffles from the complimentary breakfast was the redeeming factor.
- EddieD1970 (10/5): Will I return? ABSOLUTELY! - Excellent service and room! We arrived a little late and the lady up front greeted us and was very friendly and helpful. The pool was magnificent and our room clean and beautiful. Eating breakfast this morning and the head of maintenance walks up, introduces himself then proceeds to ask about our room and if we had any issues. Who does that?! That blew me away and just went above and beyond in customer service. We travel and always try to stay at a Marriott. Never have we ever been approached by maintenance asking such a simple and customer oriented question. I have selected this place as a favorite and we WILL be back. Excellent location and service, thank you.
- Gerald (3/5): Poor -
- Dr. (9/5): Superb -
- Bryan (8/5): - I've stayed here several times and it's always been clean and nice. However this time I must've gotten the last available room. It had several issues from flooring peeling up, AC unit leaking water causing wet, stinky carpet. Drywall repairs were unfinished. The room was clean but things weren't quite up to par for my expectations. Room should've been discounted. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast options were good.
- Jessica (10/5): - .
- Nehanda (9/5): Superb -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Small elevators - They give me a handicap room and I didn’t purchase handicap.. The Lawn Service of theirs blown mulch on vehicles, they didn’t take time to remove the blown items from the parked vehicles that were over staying at TownsPlace Hopskinville KY
- Felicia (10/5): - We enjoyed our overnight stay and will return on our next trip.
- Anton (8/5): If Road Noise Bothers You… - The road noise on the back of the building is quite noticeable. I will always request a room on the front side
- Angela (10/5): Best Hotel in Hopkinsville - We stay there every Christmas. We love it! Customer service is over the top! The staff always makes you feel welcome. The rooms are always clean and love the spacious bathrooms with walk in showers. This is our hotel and would not stay anywhere else while in Hopkinsville.
- Lanora (8/5): Nice stay but I would opt for somewhere with a softer bed. - The room was nice and roomy, the amenities of the table and chairs and kitchen area were very handy. The bathroom was big and everything was clean. Morning breakfast buffet was good. They have a very hard mattresses and the blankets are very thin. They also do not have any extra blankets available.
- Burnell (6/5): - Nice
- Rhonda (9/5): Superb -
- Terihana (7/5): Good -
- albert (10/5): - Everyone was super helpful and polite! Food was good! Pool was very clean as was the lobby! We will definitely be back
- billn635 (8/5): Reasonable rest for a reasonable rate - Friendly staff on arrival was treated to an upgrade suite. Be aware the rooms with even numbers are next to the highway and get very loud at night so bring your earplugs if you have one of those rooms. The facility is clean and only has an outdoor pool open during summer months small workout room typical breakfast fare in the morning. Grills are provided out front if you would like to cook your own dinner. The fire pit was great for sitting outside enjoying the evening.
- Rhonda (6/5): - Road noise is a little load on 1 side of property so make sure your room is farthest away from highway.
They charged us 16.00 when we used our account on netflix. They said it was a internet fee. Nobody advised of this of this charge. Not a big deal but annoying. The TV did not work upon our arrival. Breakfast just makes bare minimum. If you want to use pool you have to go to property next door. Just an average room stay. I expected a little more from a Marriott property to be honest.
- Angela (10/5): Great Place to Stay! - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I love the lady that checked us in. Wish I knew her name but she went above and beyond to help us get checked in. We had issues with our reservations, she was awesome. I love staying at the hotel. It’s always clean and the people at the front desks are always so nice. I recommend this hotel to everyone that’s visit’s Hopkinsville!
- Brooke (10/5): - Very nice room, beds were comfotrable!
- Soyica (6/5): - Due to system issues it was not a good stay. No key to get in and out. The lady at the desk was working by herself and doing her best.
- Reginald (8/5): Great Stay - Great stay always use town suites
- Madeline (4/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were not in good condition, room door wouldn’t close all the way and we ended up getting a new room. The new room’s shower leaked due to not having a door. Water temperature would drop or spike randomly. We have stayed at better Marriotts
- Christopher (10/5): -
- sunithanand (2/5): Did not stay due to very high pet fee. - We were driving through a snow storm last night and as Marriott Titanium Elite Members called the hotel to book a room. They are a pet friendly hotel but charge a very unreasonable fee for pets of $125 for a night! We requested the female staff on the phone if they could make the pet fee a bit reasonable as our pet was a small Yorkie (5 lbs) and we would check out early morning. She said they could do not anything. We then checked into Choice Hotel Sleep Inn at Manchester and very glad we did!
Too bad Marriott does not appreciate their loyal costumers!
- Sarah (10/5): - The hotel was extremely clean (which is most important to me). Our bed was so comfortable! The staff were very friendly. There was a cool outside fire pit that I thought was a nice touch! I didn’t realize it was a pet friendly hotel so that’s just an FYI.
- Rochelle (10/5): - swimming pool not operable
- Zac (2/5): - Charged extra fees without explanation or consent
- Linda (6/5): Disappointed with bathroom. - Ok except the jets in tub we’re absolutely filthy. We did not get a shower there the entire time we were there. Otherwise, rested good at night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place to stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The pillows were dirty and there was blood on the sheets! Unacceptable!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean property, beautiful area. Front desk was kind of rude, but that did not ruin our stay. We would stay again if in the area.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Pool is shut down due to covid and AC in room was barely cooling room. Other than that…. A nice place and very nice work staff
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property was nice and clean. Just a little sad the pool was closed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Absolutely delightful. A bit more than I wanted to pay but we ended up here because the hotel we originally book was terrible. You get what you pay for and this was worth it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- PettsWVU01 (8/5): Work stay - Stayed here for the first time during a business trip to the area. The hotel room was very clean and provided a lot of room to relax and work. The hotel was providing a breakfast and had a nice gym to workout in. I will be making multiple trips back to the area and will stay here each times
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room was wonderful- spacious and clean with a nice kitchenette.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Awesome over night stay - Had a wonderful stay and definitely received more than expected.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good staff good room good stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a very nice place! Our suite had a working kitchen in it including a dishwasher. The bathroom was amazing! I'll always look for a Towneplace suites every time we travel. Loved it!
- Giselle (10/5): - We loved the room, kitchen and space. Will definitely stay again at Towne Suites.
- N2302LKpatriciat (10/5): Highly Recommended Stay!!! - This place is fantastic! Having a full size refrigerator, two burner stove top, and a dishwasher makes the stay away from home feel more like home. The beds and pillows were amazing comfortable and the staff was beyond wonderful. James specifically was superb in helping us find things to do and was available to help with every question and need we had. I 100% cannot recommend this place enough, we will stay here every time we visit!
- mikekA3040UX (10/5): Gem in Hopkinsville - This place is amazing. Roughly the same price or cheaper than the other chains in the area, but every room here comes with a kitchenette that includes full size fridge, dishwasher, 2 burner stove, sink, microwave and more. They also let you borrow things like slow cookers, barbecue tools for the grills outside, playing cards, etc. Again this is just as clean and modern as any of the surrounding hotels. Even with all that the best part was probably the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but the manager, James, was genuine and a great person. He was very knowledgeable and helpful when trying to find things to do in the area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is a very nice property. We will plan on staying here again when in the area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice hotel...Room was very clean with a nice size kitchen space...Beds comfy...Will stay here again...Loved it
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great experience overall. I would recommend anyone who will be traveling by Hopkinsville to stop here to rest.
- Colleen (6/5): Don’t stay with these 3 hotels - This property is owned and managed by the people who own comfort in and suites Hopkinsville and Hampton in and suites . After I stayed for two days at town suites marriot I moved to Hampton inn and suites Hopkinsville by fro day I have a staff infection by Saturday my leg was infected doc said it was likely to come from dirty bed sheets so if I got a staff infection how clean are all three of these hotels and are they really keeping their rooms sanitary enough to protect guests from Covid ! Likely not you can read my other review for the Hampton inn it’s bad! Some one came into my room pulled out my dirty laundry and stole 5600$ from me I have not even heard back whether they have done a room audit or not to get my cash back to me . Plus there is a huge mold issue below you will see The pictures and the samples I’m sending to a lab because I’m already suffering from toxic black mold exposure and want to find out if there mold is toxic as well I will hand these samples over to the local health department as well. Very disappointed basically the main manager laughed at me of my missing cash and my underwear found on the floor , How embarrassing!!!!!! See pics below
- Verified traveler (2/5): Hotel for truckers - Check in was great. Jeff at front desk was amazing and helpful.
Room itself was not very clean-spider webs on the lights.
Bath tub was clogged-disgusting.
Beds were comfortable. Trucks parked in parking lot. Guys sitting in front of hotel chatting and cursing while me and my young children were waiting there.
It was not a good experience for us. Will not book again.
- Angela (10/5): Great Stay! - The hotel was wonderful. The room was nice and clean. The front desk employees were so nice and pleasant to talk with. I will definitely stay there again.
- Adam (10/5): Very impressed - I was supremely impressed with every member of staff I encountered. The property is clearly taking all the proper precautions regarding COVID, and the property looks brand new.
You have a team there, from front desk to housekeeping that are all doing a stellar job. Keep up the great work!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a nice place and I enjoyed myself. The receptionist could have done a better job with being present at the desk but I still enjoyed my stay.
- miriamsD6442CA (10/5): Friendly staff - The desk clerk was very, very helpful, and the breakfast server couldn't be nicer. The compact room was well appointed with what we needed. The king bed was luxurious and uber comfortable. If you're a light sleeper, request a room at the front of the hotel, as the highway noise on the back side can be distracting.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Pros: it's absolutely beautiful, clean and organized. We stayed in a suite so my toddler could sleep in the living room and we could have a bedroom. It was a perfect set up. They even had breakfast in grab and go bags in the morning. House keeping left a lovely hand written note. The room it self was well stocked and immaculately clean. Even the air filters in the AC units (toddler finds things) were clean.
Cons: We arrived at around 7 pm. I had to ring a bell on the desk to have someone come out. The girl that came out was wearing a mask but visibly irritated I was even there. The check in process was very polite but not at all friendly or customer service-y it was very "info dump" and leave me alone. She was the only employee I saw during our stay. In the morning I went to check out (around 8) and in place of the bell there was a basket that said put cards here thanks.
The bed in our room was rediculously firm. Like I probably should have gone and slept on the couch. As someone with chronic back problems I appreciate a supportive mattress but that was the most uncomfortable thing to sleep on. And the sheets kept slipping off the corners. I'm still in severe pain from sleeping there. It was like sleeping on the floor with carpet, but no padding.
- Verified traveler (8/5): safe for kids, cause of cleanliness. - Pretty nice Studio, my family liked our stay.
- London (10/5): - My family and I enjoyed everything about the property and the kitchen feature was great for us and saved us alot of fast food trips
- Chris (8/5): - Love the firepit outside , however it was not working
- Shaina (10/5): - Jeff at check in was great. Everyone on staff was friendly. Room had great amenities.
- Rhonda (6/5): - I have stayed at a few hotels since covid and seen how hotels handle breakfast but this place didn’t even try. A store bought packaged muffin and a bottle of water is not even trying. Very disappointing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property was nice and clean, staff was pleasant, the only thing is the smoking area is at the entrance of the property and the fire pit with the seating area was outside our window, some guest were up most of the night and loud.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Would recommend and would stay again, clean rooms, awesome staff, what's not to love?
- Kristoff (8/5): - Great staff the day manager or receptionist had no problem switching my room due to noise i appreciate the friendliness and patience.
- Raleigh2772 (10/5): Fantastic - The beds are comfy, pillows great, heat and air strong, the breakfast is amazing, the employees are fantastic, from the lady who cooks the breakfast to the ladies at check in, greatttttt place. Prob the best hotel in this small town.
- jenniferpG6879FV (10/5): Great visit - We made a trip through to South Carolina from Arkansas. We were greeted by Thea Russell who could not have been more comforting and friendly. She made our visit exceptional. She went over the top by giving us both some milk to warm to help us rest. We will be back to stay again.
- Blessed1298 (2/5): Horrible Stay During Time of a Funeral - I recently stayed at the Townplace Suites in Hopskinsville, KY. I came to town for my grandmother's funeral services. Upon arrival to the hotel, there was no one at the front desk. When the representative, Cierra Whitney did come to the front desk, she was removing blue gloves and indicated she was also doing housekeeping. We were placed in room 409 and had to leave for funeral services upon getting to the room. So, it wasn't until later when we came in room that I noticed in the bathroom o room 409 a spot near the shower where it looked like a water leak and mildew forming. I took a picture and went downstairs to show Cierra and requested a room change, which we had to move at 11:00 at night, but we should have never been in that room. Additionally, it was not cleaned well and I took pictures of the fridge that had fingerprint and hand spots. When we went to the other room, it was also not cleaned well (I took pictures and also showed this to a staff member the next morning). The next day was the funeral and we should have had a 'refresh' of our room. Well, it didn't happen. The bed wasn't made up and the housekeeper assigned hung back up the dirty towels we wanted changed and didn't hand it correctly. I took pictures and also we showed a staff member who called and told the GM who was out. This experience was unacceptable and I am very upset and frustrated. As a Marriott member who has stayed at Marriott many times over the years for business or pleasure, I had to endure this during a time when we should have had a comfortable stay and able to grieve our grandmother and bury her without dealing with other issues. I shouldn't have had to pay $200 for an unprofessional visit. The one positive about this stay was Cierra Whitney's kindness and apologetic attitude, which was noted in a letter she wrote to me and brought to my room.
- Jeanne (10/5): TownePlace Suites Earned 5 Star Review - The suite reserved for us had not been serviced prior to our arrival. Andrea immediately took charge. She took pictures of the room and emailed them to the manager. She assigned us to another suite, then brought us an apology basket containing bottled water, Hershey Chocolate bars, and Chex Mix Snacks. She told us that if we need anything at all to contact her. Superior customer service!!
Sandra also provided superior customer service in the breakfast area. She was so friendly and egar to make sure that we had everything we needed during our breakfast time there.
Amy was exceptional at checkout. She asked about our experience while staying there. She also apologized for the checkin situation and gave 5000 extra points on my Mariott account.
We will definitely stay at TownePlace Suites each time we come to Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
- Antoinette (8/5): - We thought the hotel condition and clealiness was great. Thr staff was good too.
- Shenika (10/5): Management staff goes about & beyond! - Cierra, the manager was awesome! We an issue and she was prompt about ensuring our comfort & provided us with a complimentary gift for our inconvenience! Our stay was very welcoming and comfortable.
- MLManis (8/5): Friendly staff - We had a sick family member in Hoptown so we stayed here several days during the month of October. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were very clean. The breakfast is ok. Wish there was a little more variety. Kathy keeps the breakfast area clean and stocked. She speaks to everyone in the morning as they stop by for breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Always nice to have a little kitchen even if just using the refrigerator. We will be back.
- Bonk56 (8/5): Avoid roadside rooms - We were in Hopkinsville overnight due to a business trip. We had reservations at the TownePlace Suites but neglected to request a room away from the road when we made the reservation. Upon arrival we made this request but there were no rooms available on that side of the hotel. The road noise is quite noticeable in the rooms but was not so loud as to keep us awake.
The staff from check in to check out was quite friendly. The breakfast, though naturally not abundant in the choice of items, was quite adequate for our needs.
The property itself is well kept and clean.
Except for the road noise, we had no complaints. Just be sure to request that side of the hotel when you make your reservation.
- Brian (8/5): - When we checked in there were several people in the lobby that were so loud the staff couldn’t even hear us come in and had to repeat several things. We were happily surprised when we got in our room just down the hall on the first floor and shut the door we couldn’t hear them! But.. just as we settled into bed, someone above us started stomping and laughing. We called the desk to complain and shortly after the noise quieted briefly. We ended up getting up and packing our things again so that we could be moved to another room on the top floor. The staff was very apologetic and helpful and once in the new room we were finally able to get some sleep. The morning staff were very accommodating and friendly as well and the breakfast was wonderful.
