• Patrick (7/5): Beau séjour dans une ville magnifique, vraiment malaga est une ville à voir - L'appartement est très bien situé, propre et aussi belle grandeur. de grande porte nous permettent de nous sentir à l'extérieur. L'appartement est très fonctionnel. Malaga est une très belle ville, beaucoup de chose a faire à pied, ce qui est très intéressant. Le lit n'est pas confortable, c'est comme si on dormait sur un lit de camp. Également, il manque une machine à café dans l'appartement.

Bedrooms were comfortable The photos of the apartment on booking .com did not refect the apartment which we stayed The kitchen was only adequate and looked very out dated and of modernisation. In the main seating area where a large kitchen table was our view wasvery poor , overlooking next doors washing for the 4 dates we were there. Our hope was to have a view of the cathedral like shown in the photos. Our small living area had a balcony which we couldn't access and the room had bars to look at. The bathroom was adequate however, we came across 2 cockroaches Overall it did not live up to expectations of what we looked at on the photos

Pulizia della casa ok. Riscaldamento con termoventilatori o condizionatori (quella nella camera non faceva caldo). Wc vecchio da cambiare. Doccia senza miscelatore. Phon minimale. Impossibile aprire le finestre perché presenza di piccioni a tutte le ore. Finestre non vista Cattedrale come da foto dell’annuncio. Sarebbe bastato specificarlo durante la prenotazione. Frigo ok. Fuochi della cucina solo 2. Wi-Fi superveloce.

• lucy (8/5): Clean well-equipped central apartment in Malaga, helpful friendly owner meets you to hand over the k - Very clean, comfortable bed, hot water (very hot!) for shower and bath, convenient for visiting many sites and museums. Has everything you'd need for a stay. The Cathedral clock doesn't chime the hours during the night! There are restaurants and small supermarkets locally It is impossible to shut the doors to the apartments or the outer door quietly, can be heard all over the building. Windows and doors to the balcony are not double glazed and not very well-fitting so outside noise is heard very easily. There are about 9 up steps from street level, the small lift for this wasn't working. Just to be aware if carrying a case is a problem. After this there is a lift to other floors.

The apartments with view of the cathedral are great but take care with room selection because not all of the apartments have a view. I was first given the keys to the incorrect apartment and had to move the next day to a different apartment that had no view of the cathedral. Luckily my partner was there to facilitate the move because I was working and would have been very inconvenient for me. The room selection is confusing too as the "room with terrace" is not the same as the room with the balcony that overlooks the cathedral. Ended up changing rooms 3 times to get the room with the view of the cathedral.

• Peter (6/5): Keby to nebolo v centre, tak by som tam už nešla. - Ubytovanie v centre mesta, všade blízko Po príchode si pani vypýtala 35€ zato, že sme prišli po 22.hodine( meškalo nám lietadlo). Bola nekompromisná, že jej to musíme zaplatiť, samozrejme v hotovosti. Potom chcela zaplatiť depozit 350€, ktorý vrátili až po týždni, keď sme boli doma. Ubytovanie nemalo kávovar, ani čaj. Po upozornení, že tečie toaleta pani neriešila.Každý večer sme museli vypnúť vodu, sby nám to nehučalo.

• Dora (2/5): Not recommended for families - Location is ok, and lady who showed us the apartman was helpful. Unfortunately, apartman was very filthy, kitchen table, sofa, floors very dirty. There were bugs in the bathroom. We were travelling with small baby and had to leave first thing in the morning, thou we booked two nights.

• Adriano (7/5): Cuidados com a calção para não ter prejuizo. - A Localização, é fantatica porem não epossivel entar de carro para desgarregar as malas A caução foi cobrada no cartão de crédito como crédito em dólar. Quando foi cancelada, a devolução ocorreu em dólar de venda, com valor bem mais baixo. Além disso, houve cobrança de IOF, o que me gerou prejuízo financeiro.

• Susan (1/5): Central location, dreadful apartment. - Central location, and when we left the property It was shabby, dirty, not at all like the photos. There were stains on the mattresses , mould in the bathroom and on the ceiling, the curtains were falling down. The kitchen was badly equipped - chipped plates, no wine glasses, a few bits of cutlery. One of the plug sockets fell to bits when we plugged in the kettle. The floor was damaged in places. The initial photos in the booking page are not the apartment, the real ones were available lower down the page and I only found them after booking. Our view was of a central space filled with of washing not the glorious view of the booking page. We have been given a credit note for a few euros - don’t use this place.

• Vincent (4/5): Pas terrible - Il y a 3 choses positives selon moi, le prix est relativement correct pour 4 chambres , il y a un petit extérieur ce qui reste agréable et l’emplacement est absolument parfait dans le centre piétonnier ! En revanche, les literies sont totalement dépassées… les matelas sont creux, les pieds tordus … le canapé totalement affaissée.. la cuisine est vieillotte.. mais le pire est la douche .. les plafonds sont moisies, le pommeau de douche est ridiculement petit et l’attache ne tenait pas dans le mur… Donc le confort est vraiment pas terrible… Bref je recommande pas trop

Los balcones que aparecen con vistas a la catedral no son todos los apartamentos, y creo que debería de identificarse bien, porque una de las cosas por las que se contrató fue por eso y al llegar descubrimos que no teníamos balcones

• Neil (2/5): Overpriced, oversold, lacking any customer focus, unclean and very disappointing - Leaving the Apartment Booked 30 April accomodation for 12-14 December 2025. Requested parking space and early check in and received this response almost 8 months later and the day before we check in:- "Your request cannot be processed in advance, but Cathedral Suites will do its best to accommodate it." Then received a message on the day, that no parking available and no early check-in! We were told that it would take 4 hours to clean the apartment, but when we arrived, accomodation was unclean, badly maintained, stains on the floor, coffee table, curtains and unclean cups and glasses and a microwave grill that was filthy. The bath had stains and shower useless. No tea /coffee welcome pack. The location is good, but the noise of people, restaurants moving tables, loading & unloading beer barrels and crates together with very early morning council cleaning machines, the property owners should consider upgrading their single glazing within a very overdue cleaning and decoration plan. I would not reccommend this place.

• Mari Carmen (4/5): Esta en un sitio precioso pero necesitaria arreglos para ser un sitio recomendable. - Las vistas y la ubicación. Las ventanas no tienen ningun tipo de aislamiento, son antiguas y no cierran por lo que se escucha muchisimo ruido. Resumiendo parece que duermes en la calle del ruido tan fuerte que se escucha. El baño olía muy mal. La cocina justita, la mininevera hacia ruido. En general necesitaria algunas reformas mínimas para ser un sitio aceptable.

The lady Victoria that met us was very friendly and helpful. Left us a map and 5 or 6 recommendations. Very welcoming. We booked a deluxe apartment. The apartment was basic and out the back of the building looking out onto other apartments. It was very dark due to having to keep the curtains closed. We should have booked a front apartment with a view of the street. If we return to malaga . . We would definitely stay but book an apartment out the front of the building. It was also hard to find. There was no name on the door and Google maps took us around the corner near the Picasso museum.

• Astrid (6/5): - Esta muy bien ubicado, cerca del puerto y de las atracciones de la ciudad, la zona se ve bastante segura y muy bonita, está cerca de todo y en medio de la ciudad, es de fácil acceso (no si vas en coche). María fue muy amable y respondió rápido a mis preguntas Llegué antes del horario del check-in y esperé hasta las 4 para entrar porque estaban limpiando, pero una vez al entrar el piso tenia el suelo sucio, lleno de pelusas. y el baño se veía limpio pero olía a baño público, encontramos papel higiénico pegado bajo el asiento del baño sucio y tuvimos que comprar lejía porque no había con que limpiar. El closet estaba ocupado con una cama plegable y casi no había donde dejar la ropa. Creo que el precio-calidad no estaba a corde

La puerta del balcón de la habitación no cierra correctamente por lo que se oían aún más todos los ruidos del exterior. Tampoco se podía dejar encendido el aire acondicionado por la noche por lo ruidoso que es por lo que en la habitación pese a ser octubre hacía mucho calor. Quizá no hubiera estado mal un pequeño ventilador de techo. Cocina cutre pero bien equipada (tostador, exprimidor, cafetera, útiles de cocina...) En la ducha faltaba presión.
• Richard (5/5): Bel emplacement en cœur de ville hélas l’appartement ne correspond pas aux photos de l’annonce - L’emplacement Appartement vieillot à part le séjour. La cuisine est des années 80, la salle de bains est également vieillotte et sale, la chambre sale : des cheveux dans le lit, des taches de sang au sol et sur les rideaux. La Clim est en fait une Clim sur roulettes qui fait un bruit infernal. Pour résumé il n’y a que l’accueil du monsieur qui fut à la hauteur à l’arrivée dans les lieux. Les photos de l’annonce ne correspondent pas à la réalité.
• Bernard (9/5): Fantastic. Really enjoyed. Great price for a nice place in a fantastic location - Super location. Very clean. Well equipped. Informative host. Maria was brilliant. Great views. Fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of storage in bedroom. Nice bathroom. We would definitely recommend and stay there again. Could have had some more furniture in the living room to give it a more homely feel and TV cabinet needs fixing. Wood floor had water damage and needs replacing. Marks on walls need painting over and kitchen is very old and units are worn. Needs a new kitchen although it had everything needed. Also needs 2 more pillows and better quality ones on bed. Noise outside from drunks was annoying. But iys a city centre location so to be expected
• Inge (3/5): Leider nicht zu empfehlen - -- die Fotos auf booking.com -- die Lage und Fußnähe zum Museo Picasso -- die Kommunikation mit Maria -- die Realität hat mit den Fotos auf booking.com leider sehr wenig zu tun, das ist etwas irreführend -- schmutzige Couch, schmutzige Sesselbezüge, schmutziger Tisch (wieso kann man das nicht vorher reinigen?) -- Laminatfussboden mit mehrfachen sichtbaren Wasserschäden -- Aus Angst, dass wir uns eventuelles Ungeziefer mit nach Hause nehmen, ließen wir unsere Koffer verschlossen -- Das Apartment macht einen sehr abgewohnten und vernachlässigten Eindruck. Auf wienerisch gesagt „einfach grindig“. -- Auch das Thema Parken stellte sich als etwas mühsam heraus: auf booking.com sind verfügbare Parkplätze vermerkt, da wir mit einem Mietwagen unterwegs waren, war das eines meiner Suchkriterien. Kurz nach der Buchung kam die Info, dass die Parkplätze des Apartments (welche eigentlich, wo sollen sich diese befinden?) alle belegt sind und daher das Parken auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz empfohlen wird. Kurz vor Ankunft die Info, dass die Zufahrt zum Apartment generell nicht gestattet ist, weil es sich um eine Fußgängerzone handelt und nur Einsatzfahrzeuge und Zusteller zufahren dürfen.

• Pilar (9/5): Apartamento tranquilo y fantasticamente ubicado - Escogimos estos apartamentos por su ubicación pero tiene su contrapartida, no hay donde dejar el coche salvo en el parking publico y no es nada barato. Pero en fin mereció la pena. Era un apartamento sencillo pero no faltó de nada Nosotros nos íbamos por la mañana (a Nerja, Frigiliana, Benalmadena...) y tras comer por ahí volvíamos a descansar . Luego al atardecer paseos por el centro y por el muelle. Me gustó todo

Promised a bottle of wine, never materialized. One toilet roll to last 2 people for 3 days. Towels thin and old. If you're staying for one night, you could rough it. 10 out of 10 for the location, 1 out of 10 for everything else

• Javier (4/5): Alojamiento bien situado pero viejo y mal equipado - La ubicación céntrica es excelente y admiten mascotas por el módico precio de 10 euros al día. El alojamiento está situado en una calle peatonal, en la que no es posible aparcar y hay que llevar las maletas desde un parking situado a 10 minutos andando. La foto no se corresponde con el alojamiento, mucho más viejo. El baño está anticuado, las cañerías huelen a cloaca, las ventanas no cierran y se oye todo el ruido de la calle (insoportable el fin de semana por la noche), los utensilios de cocina son muy básicos, la cama incómoda, las persianas están estropeadas e inutilizadas, la luz del salón fundida (lo informamos, pero sólo nos dijeron que probásemos el otro interruptor, y siguió sin funcionar). La iluminación es insuficiente, y uno de los dos frigoríficos, en la práctica, no se puede utilizar porque hay que desconectar el microondas ya que no hay más enchufes. La presión del grifo de la cocina es insuficiente y el desagüe de la caldera del agua caliente (un tubo de goma que baja al fregadero), surrealista. El aparato de aire acondicionado es portátil, muy ruidoso y no funciona bien porque el tubo de conexión con el exterior está roto, la ranura de salida es demasiado grande y se para cuando se llena el depósito de agua. Sin persianas, y con el ruido del aire acondicionado (cuando funciona) se pasa mucho calor. Las ventanas no ajustan, con lo que el nivel de ruido de la calle en la planta baja es muy alto. Cobrando 10 euros al día por mascota, no hay aspirador. Por último, el portal es oscuro y tiene un tramo bastante largo de escaleras, por el que hay que acarrear las maletas. Terminada la estancia, me dí cuenta de que me había olvidado un cargador de portátil Mac, que vale 140 euros. He avisado al único contacto que tenía del alojamiento, la persona que me hizo el checkin, que me responde que no sabe nada y que no tiene ningún teléfono para que les pueda pedir que me envíen en cargador.

The bed sheets and pillows stank as if they weren't changed after the previous guests. the bed was very uncomfortable. The website says room is equipped with AC, instead it was a noisy indoor unit in the living room that gave out hot air. the bedroom only has a dirty fan. had to open the windows to be able to breath. got bitten by a million mosquitos and couldn't sleep one bit due to the busy touristic street under the window where a bunch of drunk people partied in front of the cathedral. We couldn't wait for the sun to come out and just leave the premises!

Spazi in bagno troppo stretti adatti solo a persone minute (le gambe faticavano a starci a fianco del bidet). Assenza di un balcone dove stendere i teli. Assenza di uno scolapasta. Mancanza di bagnoschiuma nel kit benvenuto (solo shampoo). Padelle e pentole rovinate e consumate ormai da buttare. Assenza di presine. Nessuna flessibilità dell’host rispetto alle richieste.
• Mark (7/5): Nice stay in great city - Location was key right in the center of Malaga so much to see close by great restaurants close by . Good wifi nice aircon so was a great comfort whilst in the apartment Maria was very nice and friendly The bed in the main bedroom was not good the frame definitely needs changing its bent tge legs are not straight was worried was going to collapse the comfy matteress dipped because of the frame issue . The apartment was tired and would benefit from some modernizing as potential is amazing

• Suzanne (3/5): SHABBY - Beds were comfortable. The girl who greeted us was very friendly. Very little amenities, no wine glasses, no bowls, very few cups and cutlery. Fridge didn’t work, had to use the freezer as the fridge. Toaster didn’t work, Terrace was dangerous with bricks and wood raining down on top of us as we sat outside. Overall of the property is shabby and is in need of a full renovation and TLC.
• Zoe (4/5): Disappointing - The location was amazing and right on the door step to everything. The host was good and met us a bit earlier than we had planed. The view on the booking and photo isn't what we had. The sofa in the front is so small that only my son could seat on and only for 1 person so no where eles to sit other than the chair and table area. The bathroom was dirty and small. Bedroom very hot with no fan. Only 2 pillows and dirty stain walls.

• Marijana (1/5): Extreme caution!!!!!! - Beware of this accommodation! Scammers! Absolutely everything in the apartment was destroyed. The bed was broken. The bedding was dirty. Someone else’s hair all over the apartment. We left after 5 minutes because it was impossible to spend the night there. These are not conditions to spend even a single minute, not even if it were free and we pay 180 eur for that. They took our money for something we didn’t even use. Absolutely everything was dirty, water from the boiler runs through a hose and smells bad, some bugs were crawling around. Extremely, extremely rude.
• Vikki (5/5): Sadly disappointing 😞 - Fabulous location Maria was helpful. The apartment was very tired both in decoration and furniture. The sofa was so badly worn we couldn't sit on it. There was very little other furniture in the lounge, and was very sparse and unwelcoming. No other soft furnishings to even mention. The kitchen units were very 'tired' and had doors that were not fitted properly and bits missing. The bathroom worked but again needed updating. The air-conditioning was a large, freestanding unit in the living area and was extremely noisy. The cold air did not make it through to the bedroom, though Maria gave us a fan, which didn't help much in the 30°heat. It could have been so much better and has great potential. it just needs some modernising. Overall, the location was fabulous (but noisy at night due to this, obviously, and the patio doors not closing tightly) but felt like student accommodation. We were disappointed as we were expecting so much more from the photos. These were obviously taken when it was new.

• Smith (1/5): The apartment not fit for purpose - Space The fact that the guy who let us in did not tell us how to get in and out-[little English] private residents did-we were locked in for a day and a half. We had no working shower-complaint ignored. so had to book into a hotel for 2 days. Cooker top filthy Grotty pillows. 350 Euros deposit far too excessive considering we had to fork out more for a hotel.
