- Nicole Choo (9/5): A convenient and comfortable hotel with easy access - The hotel is located on the 19th floor of the ASIA PLAZA BUILDING right next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department store. Room: extremely spacious for a hotel right in the center of the city. Rooms are clean and comes with the basic necessities such as towel and 2 bottles of water daily. Other disposable amenities such as toothbrush & toothpaste and comb are not provided(stipulated by Taiwan law). Bathroom: seated BIDET is provided in room toilet seat. Makes cleaning so much more comfortable. Shampoo and bath liquid are provided but if you don't like the scent; you may want to bring your own. Laundry room: Clean and fully functional washing and drying machines available to use. Laundry powder is provided but if you don't like the scent. 2 washers and 3 dryers are available to use. Room provides laundry basket with your room number stated for use. Staff: ARE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. Few of them can even converse in english and japanese. There is a book of recommended places; placed on the reception counter for dining near the hotel. Do take note that some places may be closed (just as reference). Walk-ability: easily access from TAIPEI MAIN STATION through lift exit Z2 (just walk further past COSMED). the other entrances of Z4 and Z2 are stairs. There is no underground access to this building. Those with luggages are recommended to use lift Z2 exit. Taipei Main Station is a HUGE station with underground shopping mall accessing both left side of the city and right of the city. Walk-ability: Those who want to walk to XIMENDING is also possible with a short walk of 20mins away or 1 train station away from Taipei Main station. Food & cosmetic shopping: McDonald's is just 1 minute walk from the hotel by turning left once you exit the building. If your itinerary is for cosmetic/skincare shopping....WATSONS & POYA & COSMED are located nearby the hotel. Some have Tax Refund processing for your purchase above a certain amount. Common dining and rest area: Only coffee machine available for coffee drinks making and tea sachet and hot water available. No snacks provided. However area is clean and comfortable. Breakfast: Not provided. Pillow: only 1 pillow provided per pax and texture is too soft for our liking.

There are some market stalls in front a well every night, endless restuarants and street food nearby. Great to have washing facilities for free and easy access. - MINORU (8/5): 台北駅前で便利 - 台北駅は目の前。Z4出口を上がるとすぐ。ビルの19Fがすべてがここのホテルになっている。 部屋は広く、とても明るく清潔。バスタブも浅くて狭いが有り難い。トイレはウオシュレット付き。ランドリーは無料。 部屋のスイッチがベッドサイドでコントロールできないため、寝るときに一つ一つ消して回らなければならなかった。 また朝食の提供がないため、外に出ないといけないが、台湾的な朝食を出す店は歩いて7－8分かかる。雨の日だったので面倒だった。

There was a great view out the windows, there is free washing which is convenient. Plenty of space for luggage. The bathroom is underwhelming but clean with nice hot water. Overall very comfortable stay, good value for money. Very good stay overall. It can be confusing to find the hotel as it is in the Asia Plaza tower and level 19. It is not very clearly signed at all. You must go out for breakfast - this was no problem for us as there are many options within 5 min walk. Bathroom is okay, clean and everything you need but a bit old looking.

We will definetly come back when we need to stay near the main station again :) For really tall travellers: the bathroom high was lot shorter than the rest of the room. I am 1,70m and already noticed, especially while showering. My husband is 1,85m and just fit in.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the facilities are excellent. The free laundry access was something I wasn't aware of when I booked the room and was a pleasant surprise. Overall, the accommodation provided all the basic needs. The pillows were too soft and almost non-existent. The laundry room can only be accessed from 8am to 11pm. Some of the front desk staff were not welcoming. Although it's just a 3-star accommodation, personally, good service is absolutely necessary.. I would rather have perfect service and complete lack of facilities...

- Maddison (2/5): - Very close to Taipei Main Station Z2 exit, which was convenient. The bathroom was dirty, with hair from other people still on the floor, and had a mouldy smell. The bed was incredibly hard, almost as hard as sleeping on a floor, and the mattress felt very thin. We saw cockroaches in our room. The balcony was a tiny ledge, that was not clean, and was too small to do anything but stand on. The price was way too expensive for the facilities and the location was not worth it at all.

For a similar price or lower, there are better hotels to pick from

- andJOY (5/5): - Very good location. Visavis from the central station. The room is quite spacious. I specified thru my filter that I was looking for a cozy bed. Although I know that this criteria is very individual, I would say, the bed was really hard and the room is thin-walled/hellhörig. That is why I cannot recommend this room.

- Tanja (6/5): Gute Lage aber mehr nicht - Die zentrale Lage. Das Bett war sehr hart, Ausstattung ansonsten total veraltet und auf der Couch ein grosser Fleck. Bad war nicht wirklich sauber und wir fühlten uns einfach nicht wohl darin. Kein Platz für Kosmetikartikel oder auch nur um das Habdtuch aufzuhängen.

- Sheila (8/5): Great location hotel for stay in Taipei. - The location is just opposite Taipei Main Station (next to Exit M6) and near alot of eateries. Since it is near to Main Station, it is accessible to all parts of Taiwan via bus, high speed train, metro and also Taoyuan airport. The department mall, Mitsukosi is next to the hotel. Overall, the hotel is clean and the room is spacious for 3 of us. It is hard to find the hotel as there is no signage outside the tower. The hotel lobby is on 19th floor of the Asia Plaza tower which look more like an office tower.
- Ian G (8/5): GREAT LOCATION - The hotel is located right opposite Taipei Main Station so you have High Speed Trains, Taiwan Railway Trains, Metro and buses within a short walk. The hotel is located on the 19th floor but you only get views of the building next door. The room was serviced each day. The Reception staff were very helpful when I was checking in

- Woo (9/5): - Comfortable beds. We were fortunate we encountered really kind and helpful staff. The young bespectecled chinese man n a lovely lady with beautiful brown eyes. Both were most helpful with getting my elderly dad and his partner comfortable and settled. The common lounge was clean n provided a cosy and convenient place to have our snacks. A putrid smell in our room at the entrance. We put up with it because we could not tell where it was coming from.

And walking distance to many of the key sights and neighbourhoods in Taipei. Large rooms, great views, nice lounge for self service coffee etc. Helpful staff

- Matthias (9/5): Sehr gute Lage 👍🏻 - Sehr gute Lage am Bahnhof und damit zu allen öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Zimmer groß und komfortabel. Check Out erst um 12:00 Uhr ist auch sehr gut 👍🏻 Der Balkon ist nix-kann nicht benutzt wegen, Scheiben sind dreckig.
- Michelle (8/5): Very satisfied with the hotel! - Spacious room, fantastic location! Taipei Main station (train and bus station) is a stone’s throw away. Food and shopping are all close by. Staff are very polite and helpful. The ceiling in the shower is too low for my husband. The mattress is very hard.

- Nano (9/5): - ・四人旅で利用しました。部屋が広く、四人ぶんのトランクを常時開けっぱなしにしていても快適に過ごせました。収納も多いのでとにかく置き場所に困るということがありません。 ・TVでYoutube・Netflixが視聴可能なので暇つぶしができます。 ・日本を話せるスタッフさんが多いです。 他の方のレビューにもありますが風呂・トイレのみ設備が古いです（不潔という訳では全くありません）。水圧が弱い・温度が上がらない等のトラブルはなく使用する分には全く問題ないのですが、綺麗好きの方は気になるかもしれません。

- Nora (6/5): Gibt bestimmt bessere Hotels in Taipei - Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr gut. Direkt an der Bahn Station und fußläufig ist auch viel zu erreichen. Das Zimmer wird täglich gereinigt. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, sodass wir beide Koffer problemlos öffnen konnte. Die Zimmer sind sehr sehr hellhörig. Wir haben den Nachbarn im Zimmer nebenan schnarchen gehört und wurden morgens von fremden Weckern und trampeln von oben drüber geweckt. Zimmer mit Balkon ist auch irreführend... Balkon kann man das nicht nennen (siehe Fotos). Die Fensterscheiben sind so verdreckt das man kaum rausschauen kann... Währe aber eh nicht viel zusehen gewesen. Das Bett ist sehr hart.

- Johannes (7/5): - De locatie was centraal bij het Taipei Main Station en de MRT naar het vliegveld. In de buurt waren er redelijk wat restaurants. Je kon er wassen en drogen in de wasruimte Het bed leek wel van beton, niet echt comfortabel. Het balkon was eigenlijk geen balkon want dit was afgesloten.
