When we asked why, the person at the desk said that the cleaning people said that there was a do not disturb sign on the door. This is not true. At no time during our stay did we put a sign on the door. The next day the room still wasn't cleaned, so we told the person at the desk, and they had to call someone to clean. It is way too difficult to get a clean room at this hotel.

- Marie (10/5): - This property is well-kept and managed. It's been recently renovated so everything about it is lovely. The location is very convenient to a variety of food, shopping and major throughfares, but is also safe, quiet, ample parking and has a walking path. Staff is responsive and very helpful. Breakfast is what you would expect from Hampton, yet it would be nice to have more variety than the same baked goods, fruit (bananas, please), flavors of yogurt, etc. every day - I was there for three days. I also missed the usual hardboiled eggs as did others asking for them. Other than that, this location will be my go-to when I visit my mom in the area (I have stayed at two other Hampton Inn locations nearby).

This pool was so cold she wouldnt go in and we had been swimming at all of the hotels prior. It was cold like lake water and not able to be enjoyed. Our room also had clear water damage all through the bathroom as the walls were curling about a foot up. Otherwise it was fine and as expected but we wont chose to stay here again.
- 733loup (10/5): Dells' Delight - Our group was offered upgrades a few days before. Some took them. As silver Hilton members we appreciated the water bottles and snacks provided to us at check in, by Kay. The hotel was clean and quiet.

- Ferty06 (10/5): First in CLASS ***** - This newly remodeled Hampton Inn is first in class in all aspects of hospitality. The entire staff treats you like you are the only person staying in the hotel. Just a short drive to anywhere in the St. Paul area and 18 minutes to the airport. Plenty of excellent restaurants in the area and no worries of safety like you have in downtown StPaul and Minneapolis. A special recognition to Rosey, the ever ready front desk person. Always there to help you. If you are looking for group support, go to Neasha Austin, seasoned professionals that will help you meet your groups goals.

- Nancy (8/5): - There was one issue that I told the front desk about. When you turned on the water in the shower, the handle would fall and the water temperature would get hotter and hotter. So when that happened, you moved the handle upward again for it to be the right temperature and it would promptly slowly move down in the water get hotter. Another issue that I did not tell them about was the rolling door to the bathroom squeaked horribly so we couldn’t close the door at night if we went to the restroom.

- Eileen (9/5): Very friendly staff, front desk was always staffed, hallways smelled fresh, spacious room. - Oatmeal & toppings very good, as were the waffles and scrambled eggs. Of the 4 mornings we were they only had bacon once & when ran low about an hour after breakfast began, sausage was then served. Multiple items to choose from. Did not leave hungry. Butter was refrigerated and very hard to melt on toast, bagels or waffles. Did not like the egg whites with peppers as a egg dish.

Breakfast was fine, pretty limited as far as healthy options. Coffee wasn’t hot. Perfectly acceptable stay for the price but nothing special.

- luannmoth (8/5): Lots of pros and a few cons. - Lots of positives----a few negatives. Pros: the rooms are clean, the beds are so comfy. Check-in (and reservations) were easy and efficient. The room's heat could be easily regulated. Breakfast was a cut above most chains. Great sausage, fruit, yogurt, waffles, cereal, muffins, juice. It was really good. Cons: Because there must have been some kind of a sports tournament, there were tons of kids. They were well behaved, but it was noisier on our floor, we didn't have a table for breakfast (I think some families just gathered in that room.) Also, our room had a very evergreen/antiseptic odor. Once you were in your room, you got used to it, but it was noticeable when you opened the door. The person checking us in was new and when we inquired about a place for dinner that might be close, she replied that she had just started a couple days ago and was unfamiliar with the area. Not much help there. Would I stay again? Probably. It is so convenient to I-94 and beds were lovely.

- Melody (10/5): Perfect for a great nights rest - Wonderful choice! The room is large and bed comfortable. Best walk-in shower ever! Not much outside noise, you are away from traffic flow. Pool was a perfect size. Lobby large and inviting. Parking is easy and not much walking is required.

- Kate (6/5): - Our room was nice, but we had no wifi and had to get moved to a different room that did have wifi. It seemed to be a known entity that the room they first gave us did not have wifi. Then, we had NO hot water in the morning. Final straw was somehow the hotel did not have our reservation for a second night (booked two weeks out from stay and already paid for on Expedia.) After an hour of trying to navigate the error on the hotel's part, we were told our room was sold out and we'd have to downgrade or leave. VERY frustrating. Expedia refunded us, and we ended our stay early.

- Hannah (8/5): - Started a little rocky-one bed in our room (2 queen bed) was unmade, the requested crib was missing, and the door was propped open. It appeared that the room wasn’t fully ready, and when we went down to check with front desk there was some confusion between housekeeping & front desk. But it all got squared away by housekeeping manager quickly, and the rest of the stay was very enjoyable. Breakfast in the morning was AMAZING, with many options to choose from. There was plenty of seating in their lobby/guest area, even for our large family group. Staff was very pleasant. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but did peek at it-looked very nice, kept up, and clean. I would definitely stay here again!

It's not so much that there were tons of options of food, but the food they had was really, really good. The gentleman working the breakfast area was on top of everything. The place was very clean, food was kept well stocked, and he did such a conscientious job! Kudos to him and everyone at this Hampton.
