Guest Reviews
- James (6/5): Your staff is outstanding - The location listed on internet map is horrible. It kept directing me to a rundown apartment. Had to ask directions from a Georgia State Patrol officer to find the location of your property.
- Leah (10/5): - The super friendly staff and the cleanness Nothing
- Britney (10/5): -
- Linda (7/5): Adequate for our needs - Good location. Room door was stuck and hard to open and close. And when closed there was a large open gap. Needs to be replaced.
- Wes (9/5): -
- Mary (2/5): - Staff was very nice They need to hire a new housekeeping floors where nasty bathroom was nasty not worth the 200$ I paid !
- borchers (9/5): - It's our stopping point every year on spring break. The breakfast is good. The best part is it's not far from Fox City Brewing. We never seem to get to use the pool. Not a fault of the facility.
- Colleen (6/5): Somewhat disappointing - The staff was attentive and responsive. The room was small for the price I paid. Paint was peeling off the blue furniture in the room. The mixer valve in the shower was not attached to the shower wall and slide two to three inches from side to side.
- stonge (10/5): -
- Dee (10/5): Would recommend this place for a stay in Forsyth Ga - Clean place, amazing check in lady. Nothing
- Robert (8/5): - We have coming back annually for about 4 or 5 years minus one year because the hotel was full. We like the hotel that much to keep returning. My roman blind would not open and I did complain to front desk and nothing was done not even checked out.
- Strack (10/5): -
- Rhonda (10/5): Very nice, will return every month. - The staff was excellent! Room very accommodating. TV great. We have no complaints.🥰
- Dan (9/5): -
- Alexandria (3/5): Very dirty - Our room was very dirty. We found a dead roach on the floor. There was hydraulic fluid leaking from our door when we first got there this man just walked in didn’t knock He said he was doing an inspection, the bathrooms were OK. My bedding had hair on it and in the sheets that didn’t look like it came from someone’s head. It looked like body hair. The comforter had stains and looked like it wasn’t washed for a while. It had some crusty stuff on it, I ended up putting it on the floor because it looked like poop. Overall, I would say the room was not the quality that I had paid for and very dirty. Probably would not stay at this hotel again, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. I didn’t like how dirty our room was. Please see the comment above.
- Jared (10/5): - The entire experience I have no complaints
- stonge (10/5): Have stayed here many times and never disappoints - Very close to highway easy on and off hwy
- John (9/5): -
- Brenda (10/5): Super clean -
- Triphinia (10/5): - Great stay.
- Rosa (7/5): -
- Gloria Bob (6/5): - The staff & cleanliness of entrance is excellent. The room & breakfast is just so-so. The TP holder in bathroom was hanging a bit & roll came off easily. Bath sliding door heavy & hard to close after it was pushed all the way back on track. Also couldn't get the tub plug up to use shower so had to just wash up. Carpet looks dirty. Very old. Really could use vinyl flooring in room. Always stay at a Hampton when traveling but not this one again. After driving 11 hrs it was a disappointment. Sorry.
- Lester (10/5): - Clean.
- Tiaris (2/5): - The rooms were dirty and gross. One of the front desk people was very nosey and was persistent on knowing what my business being in town was. I overall felt unsafe and uncomfortable during my stay here. I do not recommend staying here.
- Daniel (10/5): - Xxx
- Candice (10/5): - Clean and Great staff
- kalayshia (10/5): - Great
- Kim (7/5): -
- elliot (4/5): - Breakfast was mediocre at best. Window shades were broken in both rooms we were offered. Wallpaper was peeling off parts of the wall.
- Rodney (8/5): - Good for Work Trips, but Beds Can Be Hit or Miss
I’ve stayed here a couple of times for work. The rooms are spacious and the Wi-Fi is reliable, which is great for business. Location is convenient with food options nearby. However, the bed on my first stay was very uncomfortable—I could feel the springs. Second stay was better, so quality seems to vary by room. Decent for short stays, but the hotel could use some mattress upgrades.
- shoaib (8/5): - good
- Jacquie (8/5): - Staff was not very friendly at all. There isn't a lot of choices in Forsyth but Hampton Inn comes with a certain level of professionalism. It waa not here.
- Alecia (6/5): Could be nice place...just need to up the cleaning - At first sight, our room seemed clean. However, the linoleum...wood grain dark brown ....was extremely dirty to the point for black on your feet in one walk across. Carpet also seemed sticky and damp. Breakfast was ok. Crew members were nice and polite...but not really friendly. Overall...my recommendation is that the linoleum be mopped and really cleaned no less that once a week. The carpets periodically cleaned too...in addition to the normal sweep and vacuum to make it appear clean. The ac units may also need to be checked...they were working but there was a dampness in the air whrre our swimsuits didn't even dry over a 24 hour period.
- everett (8/5): - The lobby ceiling was beautiful. Motel 2S clean with easy access. Pillows were terrible..worn out too soft even with 2 i still did not sleep well.
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): I would book again. - The room was large enough for my family of 4. Breakfast needs a bigger selection.
- John (8/5): - It was fine. All as advertised. Starting to show a bit of wear as the years go by.
- Jose (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (2/5): - Upon arrival the front desk wasn’t manned. We had to wait almost 5 minutes for someone to come out from the kitchen area.
Our first room had so much visible mold on the ceiling that we asked for another room. When we got into the second room we realized it was actually in worse condition than the first room. There was dog food on the floor, the wall paper was pealing around every where especially close to the ceiling. You could tell they’d had a lot of water issues there. The ac unit made a ticking sound all night long. When the morning came we realized we wouldn’t be able to shower because no matter how long we let the water run it didn’t get hot!
I would not recommend this particular hotel to anyone.
- Michael (8/5): - The stay was excellent
- 408skipk (8/5): Great staff! - The front desk clerk that checked us in was excellent! She dealt perfectly with an impossible lady who was checking in ahead of us. All the desk clerks were helpful and friendly!
The hotel itself wasn’t as clean as Hampton’s usually are. Pillow case had a coffee stain, stain on ceiling (mold?) etc….
The breakfast was decent. Overall the staff made the stay worth it.
- Mike (6/5): - A few things weren't up to usual Hampton standards.
- GoPlaces39640783467 (4/5): Disappointed - We have stayed there for the last 4 years on our return trip from Florida. Definitely showing its age. The room was clean but had other issues. Carpet was separated in front of desk, table had paint peeling and flakes of paint on couch, wall paper above bed peeling back , couch had stains and wall thermostat inop. We will find somewhere else next year.
- Josh (10/5): - Great Stay!
- John (6/5): - I was not given advantages of being a Hilton Honors benefit holder. Not sure why but was told at check in that I was not going to get any honors benefits. Had just driven 5 hours was not in the mood to question....I just shook my head and went on with life. Just have to wonder. Glad there are other options next time. Also, the breakfast was really bad. Worst eggs with cheese ever.! Coffee was good.
- Carol (4/5): Disappointing - The traffic noise was horrible. Did not get a good night's sleep. Will not be coming back to this location.
- John (7/5): An average place that could be exceptional if attention to detail was practiced. - Breakfast very disappointed Location
- Philip (9/5): Didn’t know would cost soooo much more reserving online - Very clean Price
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (6/5): Gross Pool - As of March 30th 2025, the pool was gross. Kids were excited about the pool. Website said it was open. It smelled, water was gross. Kids were sad.
- Deborah (10/5): - This hotel was amazing. I was on a trip with my two daughters and the hotel stay made the trip so enjoyable. The staff was so helpful and the breakfast was the best I’ve had in years. I highly highly recommend you stay at this hotel.
- Christine (10/5): - It’s a small town, but the staff was great.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Staff
- Janet (10/5): Excellent accommodations - Very clean, the staff are amazingly friendly and the breakfast was great as well. It was a fantastic stay.
- Krista (10/5): Always a great stay. - Our first visit to Forsyth, GA. Hampton Inn and suites are our favorite. Our stay in Forsyth was great. Thank you.
- Jodie (5/5): Passable -
- Cynthia (10/5): - Good
- Warren (10/5): Excellent stay with lots of nice people. - Very friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed and nice restaurant.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- 737LH (8/5): Nice hotel. Great front desk clerk!! - The hotel was clean and nicely appointed. But the best part of our visit was the excellent front desk clerk, Brandy!!! This young lady went over and above to assure we had everything we needed. She made up and hand delivered “treat bags” for each of us. She also made sure there were fresh baked cookies available for hotel guests. This might seem like a minor thing, but this was the only hotel on our 2 week trip which had them. Brandy also took time to answer our questions about Forsyth and gave some great suggestions for dinner etc. Overall, the hotel was good. Brandy made our stay great! She is one in a million! Get her a nice raise!
- Charlotte (9/5): Superb -
- James (6/5): - We were driving from Michigan to Florida and could not decide if we would stay at the Hampton in Dalton or Forsyth. Around 4:30 on the trip down, we checked and Forsyth had rooms available at $154. At 9:30 we decided to go to Forsyth, but the rooms were now at $199! We arrived at the hotel around 11;30. I told the clerk about the price increase in the short period of time and he said the manager called him and could see that rooms were going fast so told him to increase the price so corporate would be happy
- James (9/5): Superb - The address was wrong and it took us an extra 20 minutes to get to the property. There are two Frontage roads in Forsyth.
- VICTORIAS (10/5): - The breakfast consisted of numerous products. Much more than any other places
- Helena (10/5): Nice hotel - Nice room, good bed. Good breakfast. Nice shower. Would recommend.
- FRANK (10/5): - Great stay
- Matt (10/5): Great, clean, nice property with helpful staff. -
- Aldora (9/5): Receptionist at desk was wonderful. - Convenience. The shower was dirty. The shampoo and conditioner pumps were dripping on the floor of the shower. Corners in bathroom was very dirty.
- Brian (8/5): Very good -
- Erica (8/5): - Everything about property was excellent EXCEPT it was not quiet. We were on the interstate side and it made sleep difficult. Beautiful hotel, wonderful service and extremely clean.
- Robin (8/5): Very good -
- Alexis (1/5): Bad - Staff check us in quickly Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing due to finding bed bugs in the room. I discovered visible stains and remains on the bed. Another guest in a different unit mentioned encountering bed bugs as well. We had no choice but to leave the hotel and book another location.
Despite reporting the issue, the hotel was unwilling to offer a refund, which is unacceptable given the severity of the health concern. Cleanliness and guest safety should be the top priority, but this was clearly not the case here.
- Clarence (10/5): - Very dog friendly. The breakfast was great with many choices.
- Scott (10/5): - Hampton Inn rarely disappoints.
- Stephen (10/5): - We have stayed here many times and always enjoy it
Great location
Lots of parking
Awesome manager
Will stay here again next trip
Thank you
- Robert (5/5): Passable - Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Maintenance was lacking, hot water slow to heat, room didn't feel inviting.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Janis (10/5): - Comfortable room, tasty breakfast.
- Kim (10/5): Great hotel in Forsyth Georgia - Staff were very welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast was delicous. Room clean and nice. Charming historic area with many dining options!
- James (2/5): - Two of my relatives died within 48 hours of Monday. The hotel said it would refund my reservation.... you are the one who has possession of my reservation fee.
- Lee (6/5): - This property is dated and in need of a refresh
- NorthStar23168851119 (10/5): The Gold Standard of Hampton Inn… - This hotel is diamond in the rough of the Hampton brand. The staff here are friendly and over the top helpful, the hotel is clean and well maintained, and the rooms are so comfortable that you won’t want to leave. We stopped here on our way to Fort Lauderdale from Michigan, and our expectations were low, because in our travels over the last few years, Hampton Inn standards are dropping across the US. Dirty hotels, broken down rooms and rude staff seem to be common. You won’t find those in Forsyth. I only wish there was more to do in the area, so I could book another stay.
- Gary (10/5): - very clean. quiet.
- Paul (8/5): - Inter state traffic noise was loud.
- Romer88 (10/5): Great stay - This was a great stopover for our road trip. The hotel is modern looking and clean. The receptionist welcomed us with a smile, check in was quick. Loved the bottled water we were given and the cookies and refreshments available to us was a bonus. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast, included in our stay, was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
- Ronald (10/5): - Great Stay. Immaculate! Wonderful staff
- BarryIH (4/5): Cold, sleepless night - We stopped overnight in a trip to Tennessee. There was very limited drawer space, the heat didn't work, and the night light didn't work. Don't expect any extra towels as we were given exactly 2. Traffic noise woke us up several times during the night. The bathroom faucet was installed in a corner of the sink making it harder to use. The bathroom had a barn style door which we didn't really like. We planned to stay at this hotel on our way back, but canceled and went someplace else.
- Denise (8/5): - It worked for our needs
- Amber (10/5): - Room was nice and area was so cute. Loved it!
- Hampton (8/5): Very good -
- Wiggins (9/5): Lovely staff and nice stay - Lovely staff. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Gym and pool Plastic plates and cutlery for breakfast.
- Amy (10/5): - Accommodated us with a last minute reservation and it turned out better than the original plan. Thank you!
- Lora (6/5): - It was okay. Just an overnight stop on the way through. Everyone was nice. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast but the comforters had stains. It’s a bit dated and there was some obvious wear and tear. Overall, okay if your just looking for a place to crash for the night and the staff was nice
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great 1 night stay - Check in & out was easy. Room was clean with comfy bed. Breakfast was good with a great assortment even for healthy eaters.
All employees were kind, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.
- LauraR8998 (4/5): Nice people, dirty room - I typically love Hampton Inn, but this one is dirty. We arrived very late at night and I immediately had to clean urine and several hairs off of the toilet. I’ve never wished for Clorox wipes so much as I did in this room. The bathroom is white which means you can see everything. It looked like snot or conditioner on the bathroom wall, makeup or something worse on the door, hair and black spots all in the shower, and a Doritos piece in the floor. I stopped counting how many hairs there were in the shower. I was wishing I had listened to a review on here that said it was dirty. I told my kids to pretend that every surface in the bathroom was lava, not just the floor. I won’t go in to the actual room because the bathroom alone was disgusting. Pros: The breakfast is nice and has a lot of hot options. The people were nice. The front desk attendant apologized and promised to add points to my account. It got us past Atlanta traffic and is right at the exit. To summarize. If you don’t want to shower with strangers’ hair and bodily fluids, keep driving!
- Ronald (6/5): Poor is being gracious - Had a TV that only played toddler cartoons, towels for 1 yet we had 3, staff to deal with issues.
- Kaitlyn (6/5): - The room definitely needed to be cleaned better. There were stains on the furniture and hair all over the bathroom.
- Larry (9/5): Superb - Accommodating, super clean, very well maintained.
- Lucybelle1 (8/5): New hotel, comfortable - Spent a night while on the road with the family
Check in was fast. The hotel is fairly new.
It is a highway hotel, a little isolated.
Nice room and bathroom.
Free parking on a lot outside.
The breakfast was OK. There is a little gym.
A good experience.
- Nanette (6/5): - Pet friendly.
