- Donald (10/5): - Lovely rooms, superb breakfast, delightful and informative hosts.
- Julie-Ann (7/5): The owners were lovely and friendly. Mark, please ensure if you are being overly attentive to be gust please do sowas a - Beautiful decor. Quirky. It was difficult to dislike as it’s such a beautiful property but a little repair (tiny) in the bathroom.
- Carmen (10/5): Amabilidad y trato familiar - Todo en general
- Diane (10/5): All You Need - Relaxing place, pleasant hosts lovely food and ambiance would visit again👍

- Aubrey and Andy (10/5): - Jenni and Mark were great hosts with excellent advice on the town. The room was lovely, spotless. Breakfast was delicious. We could only stay one night but I wish we’d been able to stay longer.
- Kimberly (10/5): Our favorite B&B - close to St Andrews - Our stay at the Spindrift Guest House was our favorite across our Scottish travels! Mark and Jennie’s hospitality was amazing and the accommodations were perfect. We took their suggestions for traveling by train into Edinburgh, where to eat in downtown Anstruther, and driving into St Andrew’s. This location was a quick 15-minute drive to the Old Course, which was very convenient since we were going daily to enter the singles draw. The breakfast was lovely, and my husband said the coffee was some of the best he’s had. I highly recommend staying at the Spindrift! 10/10
- Helen (10/5): - We were greeted by extremely friendly, helpful hosts who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. Our room was bright, pristine and beautifully presented. The honesty bar was lovely to come back to after our meal out. The room is grand and lots of interesting items to look at. Our night stay was very comfortable and peaceful. The breakfast was one of the best cooked breakfasts we have ever had. If your thinking about booking a stay, don't think about it BOOK IT!!!!! You definitely will not be disappointed. Thank you for a lovely stay 😊👌❤️

- Kathryn (10/5): - This is the gold standard for B&Bs. Mark and Jeni are wonderful hosts and the house is nicely decorated and furnished. The breakfast was delicious, and we had so many choices! We would recommend this B&B to anyone staying near St. Andrews. There are stairs to the rooms, as is the case in most B&Bs and hotels in Scotland, so since we had a car, we pack a small weekend bag, so we don't have to carry heavy suitcases up and down. Thank you Mark and Jeni for a wonderful stay!
- Mohammad (10/5): - Amazing
- Mikhail (10/5): Fantastic guest house, could not believe that such level exists - My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Jennifer and Mark's place! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and everyone was incredibly welcoming. The attention to detail was impressive—everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. - carol (10/5): Excellent guest house - The spindrift guest house is excellent you get met at the door by the hosts Mark and Jeni, who make you feel so welcome like your part of the family. They show you around the breakfast room and the lounge . The rooms are big and comfy thw whole place is spotless. Breakfast is amazing and you pick what you want from a changing menu daily which is finished off with homade loaf from Jeni we had banana loaf this morning which was still warm. Nothing is to much trouble for the hosts i would recommend a visit here and we will be back next year.
- Bonnie (10/5): - Jen and her husband are so lovely . You can walk in minutes to a gorgeous beach full of seashells . Breakfast was bespoke and amazing . Full cash bar in the cozy sitting room came in handy :) we are most definitely going back next year

- Christine (10/5): - The accommodations at the Spindrift Guest House were outstanding, extremely clean and cozy and met all our needs. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming and added to our extremely positive impression of the guest house. It’s a wonderful place to stay while you’re in Anstruther and you won’t be disappointed.
- Gavin (10/5): Exceptional -
- House (9/5): Superb - The very friendly welcome, especially our bags being taken to our room while we checked in. The great variety of food available for breakfast. The high standard of facilities and that everything you might need had been thought of.
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hiren (10/5): Best is the word - Highlight were the hosts Jenny and Mark. Lovely couple who runs this property. Absolutely lovely people. Did everything to make our life comfortable. Veg breakfast prepared by them was too good. Mark was so kind that he not only booked a restaurant for dinner for us but also came to drop us. Great room with all the facilities. Couldn’t have asked for more All great
- Diane (10/5): - The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Jenni and Mark are very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here.
- Susan (9/5): Superb - Very welcoming hosts and beautiful house.
The morning bake at breakfast was a nice touch. There was nothing I didn't like as such, however the number of stairs to get to our room was a challenge for me. That was my own fault really but attention should perhaps be drawn to the number of stairs.
Parking is quite restricted but Mark was a very helpful guide.
- Peter (10/5): Excellent luxury accommodation! - A lovely welcome! The room and private bathroom were excellent with plenty of thought given to guest’s requirements. Awesome breakfast plus delicious home made cake! Perhaps a few more power points in the room, but hey, it’s a lovely old house built well before the craze for phones and iPads!
- Joyce (10/5): Our holiday to explore the Fife coast. - The hosts were very welcoming. The guest house was exceptional with lovely well kept gardens to be able to relax in. The breakfast was fantastic. We had a very comfortable stay. The location was ideal for touring the Fife coast. Nothing. Everything was fantastic.
- Sadie (10/5): - Excellent place to stay with friendly, kind people and a delicious breakfast.
- George (9/5): Another stay at Spindrift was memorable for all the right reasons. - Mark and Jenni remembered us despite it being a few years since our last stay. It was our experience last time which made us choose Spindrift again when we were visiting Pittenweem. Welcoming and friendly hosts, warm and comfortable room and a delicious breakfast. Nothing
- Andrea (3/5): Poor - The warm welcome from the wife after chiding from her husband for failing to leave my shoes in the bucket at the door. Largest room in the house, I was told I'd need GPS to navigate my way around it. Came with a bath tub but without a bath plug - promoting green tourism... The fraudulent sale of a room with supposed extra large king sized double bed when in truth two singles had been shoved together making it a very expensive & uncomfortable sleep. Breakfast is included in the price & one l could barely eat...
- Kevin (10/5): Would definitely return - All excellent. Friendly service
- David (10/5): first class - everything was spot on and the quality of the lounge. and bedroom was excellent
- Vincent (10/5): - Spindrift House is an excellent property maintained to the highest standard. Jennifer and Mark are excellent hosts with good local suggestions and provide a very comfortable environment.

Thanks a lot for the wonderful time 😀 Nothing
- Robert (10/5): A little Jewel of a bed and breakfast near St Andr - Jenni and Mark are excellent hosts! Accommodations we're fantastic there were real American size king size beds in the rooms not the usual Scottish/ Irish little tiny king beds. The bathrooms were very modern the room was spacious the breakfast was fabulous they pretty much cook you anything you want from a full Scottish breakfast with eggs and ham and sausage and haggis to all kinds of pastries and cold cereals. They gave excellent recommendations for dinner in the area that were very walkable. They couldn't be better hosts in the bed and breakfast couldn't be in better condition!
- Rhona (10/5): Al in all fantastic ! - Great place to stay , warm welcome from Jenni and Mark .
Beautiful furnishings, well worth a stay!
We just love the African touch as we were there last year !
- Rosalind (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jim (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was very nice Didn't like parking two streets away when my van was full of expensive tools.Website says that there is parking on site but there is no parking!!

- Julie (10/5): - This is a lovely B&B. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed and immaculate. Breakfast was delicious and expertly prepared. The property is a short walk into town where there are plenty of dining options and cute shops. We took the boat trip to the Isle of May (highly recommended). The Fife hiking trail is steps away. If we ever get back this way, there is no question where we will stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very welcoming hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was warm and very comfortable and breakfast was amazing

The breakfasts were great and our hosts were exceptional in everything. They provided information about local transportation, driving routes, and evening dining. They even facilitated dinner reservations for us when we couldn't find a spot for dinner. I recommend staying at the Spindrift for all who want to have a truly great B&B experience.
- Fiona (10/5): - We received a very warm welcome from the proprietors. Guest house was spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended
- David (8/5): Comfortable, with easy access to amenities and walks. - Cooked breakfast was excellent with a wide choice on offer. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was excellent within walking distance of town and the coastal path. The host could advise on local attractions and restaurants. Parking was on site. Unfortunately, on our first night, there was no hot water but the owner rectified this and duly compensated us.
Continental breakfast could have been offered, e.g. croissants, pastries, etc. More than one piece of toast and butter could have been served rather than having to request them.
- David (9/5): A comfortable place to stay. - Comfortable and helpful staff.
- Nancy (7/5): Enjoyed ourselves, and the weather was excellent. - We already pointed out that we are both in our eighties, and I found the room that we were allocated unsuitable, very difficult during the night having to leave the bedroom and go next door to use bathroom.
A night light would have helped.
