Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful service and just a romantic getaway close to home
- Kenneth (2/5): Horrible place - This has got to be one of the Worse places to ever stay or eat at. First & formost the Service both for the Inn & Restaurant are horrible. Started off with the place all locked up at 3 pm. Thought it was maybe closed down, but someone came to the door as we were leaving. Check in took forever & not real comfortable that they took my debit card upstairs to run it when they had things right there. The rooms are small they have earplugs next to the bed because the restaurant fans & stuff were right outside the window. I have a laptop that has a bigger tv, which didn't work at all when we got there & they got it on, but we couldn't turn it off. Nobody to inform of this during the night because everything is locked up & no number to call. Safety wise, there would only be one way out over the kitchen if their were a fire. Most likely place for a fire? Over the kitchen. We wanted to talk to them when we checked out, but yet again not open or anyone there at all, nor did anyone answer when i tried calling the regular number... We made the mistake of eating there. I wanted steak & I told the waitress that if im going to pay $40 for a steak only it better not have any fat on it. I was assured it would not, yet 1/3 of it was fat & they would not do anything about it. Ohh and that steak only came with mashed potatoes. Had to buy veggies & salad. I asked for steak sauce & was given a empty bottle twice which on the 3rdbottle, which took 10 minutes to get, i finally got one. Never again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - They weren't open when we got there for our room. Nobody answered the phones all day. We tried calling 8 times throughout the day.
- Jerod (10/5): - The staff were very nice. Cool place
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely and quaint little inn. Air conditioner unit did not appear to fit properly in the window and as such there was open space to the outside which let in cold air and noise.
- DC (10/5): - The ugly breakfast is amazing! So yummy...I think the Inn is known for it. Rooms are perfect. Darkening curtains very nice.
- Micharl (4/5): - The room that I was in had no heat. I complained to the management, which happened to be the restaurant staff downstairs from the Inn but got nowhere. After I left a voicemail that they need to fix this problem, and my sister also confronted the manager, they didn't fix the problem but instead, they put a space heater in the room.
When I originally booked the room, I had mistakenly only booked it for 2 nights and when I realized my mistake, I called repeatedly and sent an email requesting another night but I never heard back about a third night. I then tentatively made other arrangements. But when I checked in, they said they got my message and added another night to my reservation. Would it have been that hard to reply to my email or heaven forbid take a few minutes to pick up the phone and call me to acknowledge my additional night request?
The customer service and follow up is just not there at this place. The restaurant staff is busy on the ground floor, there is no dedicated office for the Inn and the Inn is treated like a red haired, step child since it doesn't appear that they seem to care that much about the guests staying there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quaint property with old squeaky wood floors. Shared shower down the hall a bit of a drawback though.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff was friendly. The window didn't shut all the way due to there being ab A/C unit in it, and the traffic (a lot of big trucks) was extremely loud, I think closing the window would have helped.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice, but noisy. Traffic at 5am - explains the ear plugs on the side table!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - What a cute place! Room was nice and cozy, and as a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. I'll be back 🤗
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Love this place !!! Best customer service I’ve had in a long time 🙌
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room was extremely noisy. Had to use the room provided earplug to go to sleep which was not comfortable.
- L A (10/5): Good room, excellent food. - We were a bit surprised to find out we didn't have a shower in our room, we weren't informed of this by Hotels.com when we booked, no fault with the hotel. That said we enjoyed our stay and the separated shower down the hall was clean and not a problem to use. The room was clean and comfortable and although the hotel is located on a busy junction we didn't have a problem with noise.
Food and service in the restaurant was excellent.
- Frederick (6/5): - Cute venue in Fall City. Unfortunately the little town is “very” tired, with virtually no appeal. The hotel’s restaraunt was very good, with excellent service. However the descriptive of the rooms was very misleading, e.g. there are no views, other than a/c units, parking lots or rooftops. So, for $160., I would pass.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It reminds us of a lower level European hotel. The parking was part of the restaurant parking and almost nonexistent when we arrived.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved the friendly staff. The room was clean and spacious.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It has a definite bed-and-breakfast feel to it; a very homey, comfortable room. I absolutely loved the hardwood floors and its Northwest charm. However, it is on a main road and was a bit noisy. Also, it would have been nice if the restaurant below opened a little earlier for its guests to eat before heading out.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the old time feel of the Inn and would definitely stay there again.
- Randy (6/5): OK - Been awhile since we stayed in a hotel room with a shower down the hall. Not terrible - clean and never had a problem with it not being available - just surprising. Restaurant below but quiet after 9 pm and before 9 am. Bed a bit soft for my taste. Other than that ok for a visit to the area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We loved the uniqueness of the property (rooms upstairs from the restaurant) and location to Snoqualmie Falls, loved the restaurant. Food was excellent! Room was very clean, but perhaps we hadn’t read that there was no shower in the room. Ha! It was down the hall!! We got out of Seattle late afternoon and this was the perfect distance for stopping for the night, getting a good meal and seeing the falls before heading out the next morning.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Had to get a code to get in after 8pm. Up the backstairs of the restaurant. Smelly, messy entrance. Went in, smelled horribly musty. Queen bed room so tiny barely could walk around bed. It was 11pm, I couldn’t wait to shower. There was NO SHOWER OR TUB. The bathroom was minuscule. THANKS EXPEDIA, nothing was said by you when I booked this. “European style” the sign in the bathroom said. If I wanted European style I would have gone to Europe. I will NEVER use Expedia again. And the bill? $150.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointed - Couldn’t check in. No one would answer.
- Anita (4/5): Bad experience. - NOT ADA compliant! All the rooms are upstairs above the restaurant. There is no elevator. My husband has Parkinson’s and a stiff leg (knee doesn’t bend due to a metal rod inside the bone from hip to ankle). Stairs are very difficult and at times impossible for him. The staff helped carry our luggage and his walker up to our room. My husband could just barely manage one trip out a day so we were stuck in the room most of the time. Our reservation was for 3 nights, but we left after 2. Of course it was non refundable, so they got a free night off of us. We stayed in the room with the twin pullout. That was the only seating in the room besides the queen bed. The staff came to our rescue again and brought us two restaurant style chairs. There was no microwave, no mini fridge, no breakfast included, no desk or office chair. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the wi-fi was great. Parking was free, but you park in the same area as restaurant customers. Check-in was inside the restaurant and it seemed like the restaurant took priority. They would not even consider checking to see if our room was ready 30 min. early. Traffic noise is terrible except for 5-6 hrs in the middle of the night. They provide earplugs, but these are useless for me as I need to be able to hear my husband if he needs help. For $157 a night plus taxes, this is definitely not a good deal! I would never stay here again!
- Linda (10/5): Great room in fun location! - Cute room. Next time, I will get full bathroom in room. Shared shower was very clean and most always accessible.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Upon arrival quite a lot of street noise. Hotel is on a corner intersection with stop signs. Wore ear plugs but was actually very quiet during sleeping hours.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a short distance from the Snoqualmie Falls area which is awesome. The rooms were clean and updated, yet there were the original hardwood floors from building's earl days. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I recommend it if you are planning on exploring the North Bend Snoqualmie area.
- Glenda (10/5): Great quiet location - The Roadhouse was a great choice for us while we visited Snoqualmie, WA. It was a short drive to the Casino where we attended a concert. We also ate at the restaurant. The reuben sandwich and meatloaf burger were both very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. A quaint, quiet place to stay.
- Courtney (10/5): Amazing stay! - We had an amazing stay at the Roadhouse Inn. We were greeted at the door with warm hospitality. The restaurant downstairs was a very convenient addition! The room was comfortable and the bed and linens were amazing. It's also a short drive to Snoqualmie Casino. It was a great trip!
- Steve (6/5): Stormy night surprise - First off, it is never fun to head out for a weekend trip and plan for a huge windstorm to come by and wreck havoc on your plans. With that said, my ratings were not based because of the loss of power, but the experience learned because of it. My wife and I thought it would be great to stay the night here after a concert at Snoqualmie Casino. Glad we checked in before heading for the concert cause mo one is there past 9 to check you in.
We got back at midnight, went to bed. Got up in the middle of the night and had no power. The couple next door would not shut up and if it wasn't for the ear plugs, it could of got scary. Got up at 8 to find someone to talk to, and the building was locked with no attendant present. We were the last people to leave and had no explanation from anyone. Not even a phone call or email later.
Couldn't find the shower, only had a toilet and sink in the room, looked forward to the breakfast and didn't get that. Sure I will go back for awesome food, but that will be it.
- Dana (8/5): New Years stay - My wife and I stayed for New Years eve. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is above the restaurant in quaint downtown Fall City. The location is good. We enjoyed our stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful place with wonderful customer service. Rooms were charming and the food was amazing too !!
- Bob (8/5): - A good place to stay which is close to Snoqualmie Falls, as there aren't many places to stay in that area. Located at the intersection of two busy local highways, but the noise wasn't bad. Very clean room. Ours had its own bathroom, but others share those facilities. Rooms are located up a flight of stairs; the back exterior walkway to stairs was slippery at times. Good restaurant on first floor.
- JJ (8/5): - Charming vintage property. Great food! Rooms are spotlessly clean.
- Charlie (10/5): - Quaint & Friendly, close to snoqualamie Falls, North Bend & Twin Peaks
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Interesting place off the beaten path of i90. A nice room with easy access to the restaurant right down stairs. We didn't realize there wouldn't be a shower in the room, but it worked out fine for a one night stay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Proceed with caution - The serving staff for the restaurant downstairs double as hotel staff -- therefore, not nearly as attentive, timely, etc. The room had clearly just been redone: a/c unit not properly installed in window left big gaps, venting inside the room was not properly sealed, phone did not work.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Near a friend's home. Needed quick access for a short visit. Knew from the picture that this was an old building with limitations. The room was adequate with a comfortable bed. It met our needs. We didn't need the earplugs that night to sleep. (they are provided by the management so there must be noisy nights there.) I wouldn't use them anyway due to the location of the inn, next to a gas station and right on the busy street of the town. Would prefer to hear an intruder.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We enjoyed everything! Very nice staff and exceptionally clean facility.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We didn't end up staying, when we got there it was a restaurant with a few rooms on top, which would have been fine but I was unable to get up the steep stairs, no elevator. My hubby looked at the room and said it was very nice! If you are sensitive to smells just be warned you are in a restaurant. Manager and staff were excellent in letting us get out of the reservation!! Would be fun to stay in without the stair disability!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cute place to stay - Stayed here to attend a concert at Snoqualmie Casino. It was a 12 minute drive. Room had all we needed for our stay. Would come back again.
- Michael (6/5): - Ok. Sharing a shower is odd.
- Sandi (8/5): - The room was much larger and cleaner than I had anticipated based on the fact that it was above the restaurant. My only complaint is that there is a back door that would shut very loudly which was a bit of a nuisance. However after about 11PM nobody came in or out so it was no big deal
- Pat (10/5): Great stay at the Roadhouse - Our stay at the Roadhouse Inn was the perfect stop on our bike tour. The rooms above the restaurant are very comfortable and well decorated. Check-in was really easy and the hostess was super helpful. Their kitchen was closing when we arrived, but they were quick to suggest some other options in town. In the morning we stayed for a bloody mary which was enormous and quite good with their infused vodka.
- Tonyua (8/5): - Nice, large, comfortable room. Close proximity to Snoqualmie casino.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice restaurant. Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Quite noisy— lots of truck traffic, day and night.
- Patty (8/5): Overall nice stay - The overall stay at Roadhouse Inn was very good. The room was very clean and comfortable. Road noice is a slight problem but they supply ear plugs. We ate breakfast at the restaurant at the Inn. The food was excellent but portions are huge so could have shared. The cost of breakfast was very pricey.
- Vesta (6/5): Very nice room but the road notice was awful - The room was small but very nice and clean. The bathroom was very small with a tiny corner sink that if we ran the water for more than a minute, it filled up and we'd have a long wait for it to drain. The very first thing I noticed when we entered the room was the small, poorly installed window air conditioner that I could see straight out the window where they hadn't sealed around it but worse was the road noise through what was essentially a window we couldn't close. Highway traffic comes to a stop sign right below the room's window. At 8:30pm it was a nuisance but not awful. It was the trucks that travelled past all night and every one of them came to a complete stop in order to turn left or right. Trucks make a lot of noise when they stop and start moving again, especially at 3am when I finally got to sleep. The staff were so very nice and I wish I'd remembered to mention the sink but I was stress about the day ahead and short on sleep. The restaurant should get five stars! The food was amazing and no wonder it's so popular. Even the scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked and not many places do that. Our dinner was so delicious and I wish we'd had more than fifteen minutes for breakfast but the restaurant didn't open until 8 and we had a ways to go for an 8:45 appointment. The breakfast menu was extensive and I really wanted to try their French toast. I'd stay there again in a room on the other side of the building. I'd never tire of the restaurant but it's 5hrs from home.
- KATHLEEN (6/5): Buyer beware, rooms do not include a full bath! - Shared shower! Buyer beware! This hotel has a couple of rooms that share a shower (down the hall, like a dorm or hostel). This information is not listed anywhere on hotels.com or expedia, so it was a complete shock and surprise to us. I would never think to ask if a private shower/full bath was included in a hotel room in this location at this price point.
Otherwise, your nice, clean room has a very loud, poorly working window AC unit, a tiny tv, and a view of a gas station. The staff is kind and the food in the restaurant is good.
If we had known about the shared shower we would never have booked this room. The staff does not think this shared shower is a problem, and I am sure for many it isn’t, but it should not be a surprise or a secret.
- Shawn (8/5): Affordable but loud - Nice for the price. A bit loud given the air conditioner leaves a large gap in the window that allows loud sounds from the gas station right outside the window to come through.
